Frontier was my last resort. We tried several other providers for internet and in our area Frontier is the only game in town. I ordered my service and was given an appointment about eight days out. The day before my install appointment I get a confirmation text which I responded to and was confirmed. I took an entire day off from work because my email stated they would be at my house between 1:00 - 5:00pm but the Technician would send a text message when they were on their way. I live an hour from my office so I took the entire day off to accommodate the Technicians schedule. The day of my appointment I get a text saying: Due to an unexpected delay, we have had to change your appointment. We have rescheduled your appointment to 09/13/2021.. WOW.... I cannot be available on the 13th so I cannot be there. Now I have to inconvenience someone else to be at my house to WAIT for a Technician to show. I wish I could give them zero stars but in order to post a review I have to give at least one star. Sorry Frontier - you asked the wrong person to give you a review... :(

Lemme just say this is the worse company ever. 1mbs at home, meanwhile my hotspot 15mbs. Explain to me that? FRONTIER YOU OWN VERIZON LINES. Why do you want to rip off your customers. Your already bankrupt!!!

Bye far this is the worst internet I have ever had you never know when its going to work one min its fine the next min it dont work I call them I get a rude tech worker that you cant hear due to music in the background telling me that one TV and one xbox is useing up to much bandwidth Im currently looking for new services as we speak

Have had horrible internet service since day one. Cannot use it and does not work. Tech came out, cut my speed in half due to interference with the lines and it still didn’t work. They offered me a credit, but because not one of the five people who accessed my account put in notes, it was denied and I’m still paying for full speed. Second tech ticket. Same guy came back out, said he lost my notes, and that’s why no info was on my account. Called customer service for the credit after and have been on an insane hold, but can barely hear the person anyway due to loud music in the background.Frontier is NOT the way to go!

Zero stars.....not one! DO NOT GET ANY SERVICE FROM FRONTIER, they could care less if they help you or not! They have poor reviews for a reason..... I have had 4 appointments for a tech to come out to upgrade our internet and they haven’t shown up or called. I call after each missed appointment and someone will say they are “sorry” and give me an excuse as to why no one showed up, address entered into system incorrectly, the upgrade can’t be done at your address, no phone number on file for anyone to call us, etc. I then get another appointment scheduled and we start the process all over again. I spoke to a “supervisor” who could have cared less that we were having these problems..........RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM FRONTIER!!!!

Really really bad internet.... The slowest internet you can get. When I canceled the service to get Suddenlink the sales lady said I was all paid up and wouldn’t owe anything. I got a bill 3 months later for $59. They wouldn’t erase their mistake. I paid it after arguing for a week that I didn’t owe anything. Frontier is a horrible company that I’m sure won’t last another year. Avoid at all cost!!!!

Just got off with technical support who confirmed our service was interrupted 5998 in the last 24 hours. Spent 2 1/2 hours earlier in the day with tech on site. Worked good for 4 hours.We scheduled a tech visit June 20 and themCustomer Service offered $20 credit. Customer retention was closed - go figure.

We are forced to have frontier as our internet provider. It’s like being held hostage. Frontier bought up the rights to the telephone poles and they will not allow any other internet providers to use the poles. We live in a small rural area in Bluefield West Virginia, and we wish to change provider. But not only are we held hostage, frontier is charging us a monthly rate of 6 gigs, and we only receive 1.3 gigs. We’ve been paying this for years and have told them numberous times that we only want to pay for what frontier provides to us, and we want reimbursed for the years that we have been dealt below any standers a person could possibly imagine. We have, after pulling teeth got it out of the frontier that the branch that covers this area, is closed on weekends. That means you can call for any reason and you not be able to get any service whatsoever. If your power just blinks for a second, honestly it’s happened to us on many occasions, frontier will not send out any service personal for any reason. How do we know this? The personal at our branch office told us so. They also have to constantly deal with customers that get extremely irate over the substandard service they receive on an everyday occurrence. I feel so sorry for anyone working for frontier, because they are the ones who hear what the owners and bosses should be hearing. Frontier could not pay me eveugh money to be a part of their poor excuse of a company. This is a company that should have class action suit after class action suits. Because in America a company should not be able to take advantage of hard working people on a daily basis. I hope some very affective attorney’s will read these complaints and have them investigated. If founded to be true, make frontier pay out to each and every hard working class person that they defrauded. Because that’s exactly what they have been doing for years. They take our money and put our family members life in danger every time the internet goes out. You ask how? Well let me enlighten you. There are a lot of people especially the elderly, that pay every month out of their meager budget to have a fall alert devices. What happens when someone fall and can’t get to the phone. Whose fault is their death? It’s not hard to figur out. It’s frontier. They don’t, as I’ve said and was told by the very people that take the backlash for frontier, allow overtime and no weekends for even the service personnel. Shame on you frontier and the money hungry, uncaring, selfish, cowardly men and women that run frontier. You all should be burnt at the stake for acting so inhuman when it comes to the real people that count on your services. Shame on you all!Deborah L. I have had technicians out to fix internet drops a total of three times. They were out today and the internet started dropping within two hours of the technicians leaving. They claim the connections are up and running well, however, I have not had access to internet for most of September and now my internet is still not working properly. Oct. 3, 2019 two technicians were at my home and changed the modem. They claimed the signals were good. Today is Oct 4, 2019 and I have no signal and no internet.*Update: Senior Technician came out on Monday and made the repair. So far, things are good. Thank God!

Frontier, to be a communications company, you are not good communicators with customers. The absolutely worst service ever! So do you call now? I have 4 numbers of your technicians AND a wire hanging off the side of my house since July 17! Ive called 3 times and still not resolved; service goes in/out; slow at times AND no one cares. Will not return calls, etc. Wish there was an alternative but Suddenlink horrible too

I have been with Frontier for almost 3 years. This whole time Ive been over paying for to little service. I was paying $55 a month for just internet, I was getting 12 mbps for download and maybe 1 mbps upload on a good day.Im switching to xfinity, theyre *at the moment* offering 60 mbps download, and 5 mbps upload for $35! Now you gotta rent a router or buy one. Renting one costs $13 a month for a good one and they can fix it. So my total bill is $43 for over 50 mbps download over Frontier...On top of all this Ive gone through 3 modems, and everytime I come home the internet is out and I gotta reset the modem. Then 30 mins later Im resetting it... again...The only way Frontier stays open is by hoping people like me dont notice theyre getting ripped off. Heed my warning people, don t waste your money on these crooks!

I pay almost $40 for internet so bad I can rarely use it. We mainly have it for our phones. We use up all our data because the Wi-Fi is so bad our phones cant function with it. On the rare occasion we play Xbox One we have to have the Ethernet cord plugged up, the Wi-Fi never works.

I want to know why the internet is down consistently. It seems like every week that there is a time when Frontier crashes and Im getting an eighth of what Im suppose to be getting. Its been down for 3 days now, cant even look up information with the internet. This is terrible. There is no excuse for this.

Terrible internet speed. Lousy customer service. How is this company still operating? I literally have no choice for another ISP. Frontier will not let me have internet service only, I have to have both phone and internet which cost me $64 a month with internet speed of 3MBI rarely get this speed ...when its working that is

0/5 only deal with this company due to the fact that they are the only ISP that is available in my area. My MAX speed is 1.0mbps however, I never achieve that. Im guaranteed 0.7mbps and rarely get THAT. It pains me to pay 19.99/month for Internet that can literally only be used on one device at a time and is only slightly faster than dial up. This company should be your absolute last resort.

Their service is awful!!!!!!!!! Our Internet is messed up way more than it works. If you call them, they take a week to come out to fix it. Then a week later its messed up again. I HATE FRONTIER. I wish I could rate them zero stars.

Frontier is by far the worse internet I have ever used. I made the mistake of bundling them with my Dish Network to try to save money but it is not worth it. They sell you speeds such as 24 Mbs but what they dont tell you is, its UP TO 24 Mbs.. that does not guarantee you that you will get even close to that speed. im lucky if I get 6 Mbs. Please take my advice and stay away from Frontier

My internet dsl went out and they said they send someone over today and we do home schooling so cant do that and now we gotta wait till tomorrow evening. Smh if I fail cause of frontier possibly the worst place to get wifi at. Just spend that extra money and get it from somewhere else I also get 1.9 Mbps not including 5 other ppl in the house on the internet so yea. This is a last resort. Like Id rather pay 30$ for a ham and cheese sandwich. I Mays well give them my money for free.

Unfortunately, there is no competition where I live for Internet. I am basically forced to pay too high of prices for extremely slow internet. It also is not reliable. I would give zero star rating if possible.

Absolutely terrible service. Service averages around 0.45 mbits down and currently at 0.02 mbits up. Frontier Communications should be ashamed of the service they provide to their customers. Now lets see if this review can even be posted...
