Hill and Hill were very prompt in getting someone out to save me from the heat! When my AC stopped working, they sent someone out very quickly and got me back in shape (without running up the bill with unnecessary expenses)!Thank you so much Eric for your help and explanation of what happened and how you fixed it.Thank you so much Amy for getting someone right out and your big friendly smile! Can’t recommend Hill and Hill more highly for your AC needs!
Ryan ran the auger bill up to 700 dollars while I was at work before calling me to tell me the dollar amount. I (not very wisely) told him to try for one more hour to try and get tree roots out. He was unsuccessful. He told me he would be back the next day to run camera which is 250 dollars. The next day he found a crack in the pipe and said we need to dig up yard. He told my father in law who was at the house the bill was $1465. Ryan called me and told me he was done and I needed to dig out. He also stated my bill was $1465 dollars. I got the bill in the mail and it’s over $2000. So my math says it should be 1150 but I’m willing to pay $1465. If I was at home when he was here I would have wrote him a check for $1465. I showed the bill to the owner of another plumbing company and the owner stated that any competent plumber would have quit augering and ran the camera down after one hour. The other plumber companies exact words were that I got Rap_d. No slander here just you can not trust anyone. So I’m going to pay over 2000 dollars for basically a estimate. I had a plumbing company send 3 plumbers to my house with a backhoe and they dug up my yard replace clay pie with PVC for cheaper than Hill and Hill to run a auger. I guess once again The great people of America’s word means nothing. Lesson learned get everything in writing
Hill and Hill did a good job on multiple things at my house from plumbing issues to my furnace not working they fixed them both with competitive pricing. I highly recommend. Very easy to work with and got the jobs done promptly.
Very knowledgeable and great communication
I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of their staff. However, be sure to check your bills VERY carefully. Our invoice seemed to be intentionally vague and, upon further inquiry, we realized we were charged for an extra 1.5 hours of labor beyond the hours actually worked. It was not acknowledged as a billing error. Rather, the owner said it was because the work was labor intensive. At $110/hour for labor, that is a substantial overcharge that they seemed to try to hide.
This companys great work is only surpassed by there dedication to the customer and the technicians attention to detail. Had 3 things fixed by Nick and Ryan, I am a construction inspector and can be very critical of contractors work. This was the first time I had no negative feedback on a HVAC and plumbing job. I will definitely be calling again! Thank you.

*****EDIT 11/22/2015*****The company got in touch with me and expressed a desire to address my concerns. The person I spoke to seemed sincere in saying that they care about their customers satisfaction. We talked a few minutes about the situation and I was offered a correction on labor costs. So, as it stands, I am satisfied with the work they did and I appreciated their willingness to make sure the invoice reflected accurately the work that was done.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Currently theyre located at #9 Westport Ct. Unit A, Bloomington, IL 61704.The plumber was very nice, and he certainly seemed to know what he was doing. He was courteous and professional. However, I was less than satisfied once it was all said and done.1. The work was completed no more than two hours and fifteen minutes after his arrival.2. The fifteen minutes, if not more, was in fact due to his own miscalculations (yes, it happens, but I dont think I should be paying for it)3. He did not put the ceiling tiles back in place, and given that I paid for a full 3 hours, that was something that I think should have been done.Im not a particularly handy person and when I had to put one of the tiles back on, it fell and broke (its made out of this plastic stuff I am not sure what its called, but they do break fairly easily). So, I had to go and buy a new one ($20, 45 minutes of my time), cut it the right length and install it. Yet, I am not faulting them for this part, but I think that one should keep in mind that if the plumber had put everything back in its place, none of this would have happened. For that, I do hold them accountable. The point is I was charged an extra $100.00 for no good reason. So, Im not going to call them again, but if you decide to, be careful.P.S.: 3.5% credit card service charge? HA!
Cliff from Hill & Hill came out to fix a long list of plumbing issues today, and I could not have been more pleased with his service. He was friendly, showed me what the issue was with each problem, explained how hed fix it, and chatted with me as he worked. He even went outside to give attention to our dog, who was going nuts knowing there was someone in our house that she hadnt met. I would highly recommend Hill & Hill - especially Cliff!
Professional and friendly
