My Moms iPhone quit ringing or giving notification sounds. In the past, Normal Gadgets helped her transfer info to a new phone, so she wanted to go to Normal Gadgets for this problem also. Normal Gadgets quickly, on the spot, went through checking that everything was working correctly and then showed us a toggle switch none of us even knew was there, which solved the problem. Had a broken/water damaged IPhone. Brought it in and treated kindly and honestly. All possible outcomes explained for my situation. In the end, the phone was beyond repair, but every step was explained along the way and all efforts exhausted before giving me the final news. Learned from the experience and would definitely give them a try with lesser problems in the future. The whole team is highly recommend. Don’t trust any water resistant claim for new or refurbished phones. Not worth the grief! Thanks!

Took my computer in for a dead battery which they fixed, but returned because the bottom casing was not secured properly which led to broken anchors. It was under warranty or so I thought as I didnt cause the damage they charged me $50 for bringing it in as well as another customer paid an additional $25, (YES THEY SENT IT HOME WITH THE WRONG CUSTOMER). Thankfully they returned it but any bit of my info couldve been compromised! Anyways I noticed they only apoxide it together and the corner was bent (see picture) so its scraps when folded like a tablet....I sat out in my car in the lot debating wether to take it back in but felt the best interest just to part ways with the buisness

Im a codger with a Galaxy S6. When i walked into the Verizon store, their rep spotted my phone and from 20 feet away said, thats a piece of junk. Throw it away and be prepared to spend at least $800 on a replacement.Normal Gadgets replaced the battery for $75, said a few magic words and the phone works fine. Im a fan.

Great service! They did a great job on my laptop. I was anxious about fixing it and most places I went to were charging kind of a lot. Normal Gadgets took care of it very quick. My laptops keyboard needed to be replaced. They were able to get the part as soon as possible. This is wonderful! Especially since we have chip shortage going on. Now they are taking care of my 2 samsung galaxy s10+.

Just had my iPhone checked out for low volume because I couldn’t hear the other party’s end. They checked and cleaned. Now it’s working perfectly. I was willing to pay for the short service but they refused payment. Great service and very professional.

This place was great. I am from out of town and visiting family in Bloomington when my laptop stopped booting. I found them through Best Buy Geek Squad on a Saturday. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They understood my dilemma of being on a tight schedule and solved my issue fast and at a very reasonable price. I unknowingly dropped my phone out of my tractor bucket into a fire of brush I was attending. I didn’t find the phone until the next morning. Luckily it wasn’t in the hottest part of the fire. Although the heavy vinyl case wrap was madly damaged, the only thing that didn’t work was the front camera. NG replaced the camera at a fair price and gave me a free glass screen protector. Highly recommend for all phone repairs

Went to Best Buy to see what was wrong with the speaker in my phone and was told it was be a $300+ fix and that they had to order parts and replace the whole screen. So we came here to compare pricing and they corrected us and said the speaker just needed to be cleaned. A fixed phone and saving $300 later, we will only be using Normal Gadgets! If I could give 0 stars I would. So disappointed by this business. Went here to get a screen repair on an iPhone 11 ProMax. They did the repair and I picked it up at 4:30 PM. By 6 PM, there was internal screen damage that looked like black bleeding through on the screen. My husband had been at work and had barely been on his phone. There was no way he could has physically caused any damage to it because it was on a charger and then in his pocket. Now the phone is barely functional and we are out $260. I went in to them the following morning to get it replaced with their 30 day warranty and was told they can’t fix it for me because there was physical damage that we “must have caused”. Absolute BS!!!!! I said I t had been in a pocket and barely used and they told me we must have put the case on incorrectly or bumped into something with it. Nothing like that happened. Truly disgusting that people like this steal your money. Awful people. Extremely unprofessional.

I came in sad as the charger to my iPad broke off in the iPad. They were friendly and helpful, said they could handle that fix with no issues. Took my iPad and less than 10 minutes they came back and everything was fixed!!! I highly recommend

I needed a new iPhone battery. They were the cheapest in town. They finished earlier that their projected time. Customer service was amazing. They really know what they are talking about. He even taught me how to save battery life. A fun bonus for me was finding they have an entire area dedicated to e-sports including a cafe. I can take my whole family there for unlimited time for only $25 per family on Sundays.

We took our sons PS4 in for service. We explained the issue and the gentleman explained what the problem could be but he would do a diagnostic and contact us in a few days. The service was prepared quicker than we expected. The guy took the time to explain to us what the issue was and what services were performed. Our sons game is up and running like new. I went to the Verizon store to buy a new phone to replace my six-month-old phone with a broken screen.  I did not have insurance.  They strongly recommended that I have Normal Gadgets repair my phone, as this would be far more economical for me.  When I went to Normal Gadgets they told me exactly what it would cost for the repair, and because they didnt have the part in stock they said it could take 3 to 6 days for the repair.  I left the phone with them, and received an email in a few hours telling me that the part had been ordered.  24 hours later I received an email telling me the repair was complete.  The final cost was exactly what I was told.  The phone looks and operates like new.  Another plus is the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.  I was very pleased with my experience.

I couldn’t get the charging cord for my iPhone to connect properly. I tried to clean out the charging port myself, but that didn’t help. I brought it in, and the gentleman cleaned it out in no time at all! I thought maybe I would have to buy a new phone, so I’m very happy. We have brought things in before, and we’re always pleased with the prompt service and professionalism of the staff. Normal Gadgets will always be our go-to place for our electronics service!

The battery in my iPhone wasnt holding a charge. I took it in to see if they could help. I was told by my service provider that that the iPhone batteries are not easy to replace, it requires a professional. The service person was very pleasant and helpful. She determined the battery was only operating at 50%. She gave me an estimate of the price to replace it then checked to see if they had one in stock. I have had my phone for years so I was surprized when she said they had one in stock. The price was very reasonable and service was quick..only took a couple hours and I had my phone back. I was so relieved

Took me a while to settle my annoyance to leave this review, so buckle up for the ride. I cannot disagree that Normal Gadgets can be a helpful establishment in certain situations, but failed to do so for mine. I had originally gone in for a back camera glass replacement on my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra as it was broken pretty badly, but no damage to any lenses was apparent by me or one of the workers through the camera app. I brought my phone in and completed the replacement (repairs occur over a days time due to a queue). The glass was repaired (little rough around the edges but thats fine), but it was obvious no glass had been cleaned off of the lens when it was fixed, and visible marks/blurs could be seen through the camera app. I brought the phone back in to be cleaned, which they did with sincerity, but I recieved a call saying a visible mark could not be removed, meaning the lens was scratched/chipped. The camera would need replacing. Fine. I grab my phone for the few days that the camera needs to ship to the store. After it arrives, I hand back over my phone, where I am warned that if the back PHONE glass breaks during the repair, I will have to pay for it, not them. Luckily(?) this did not end up being an issue, but definitely left me worried throughout the day that Im going to have to pay even more. I recieve yet another call. They could not get the replacement camera to work, so they would rather replace the entire camera unit, which will have to be ordered. Okay? Weve already gone this far. I got my phone back yet again and wait the few days for the part and replacement again. Ultimately, they could not get the new camera unit to even work in my phone, so they can not replace it. TL;DR: After two weeks and 8 round trips from out of town, I had gotten my back camera glass replaced and what appears to be a newly damaged camera lens not from my own fault, costing around $90, not including gas money. In general, I feel like Normal Gadgets could fix broken things, but apparently Im one of the significant exceptions to their decent track record.

Completely and utterly disappointed. Took my PlayStation 4 and my brand new PC and after getting my PlayStation back the Bluetooth no longer works like normal. It took them a half a month to tell me that my PC was quote on quote “unrepairable” I can no longer play my PlayStation with a Bluetooth connected controller I have to directly connect it to the PlayStation in order for the controller to work. I also have a VR on my PlayStation which makes it impossible to play any of my VR games because of the Bluetooth. I would just like to know why when I brought it in for a cleaning I got it back more broken. Unbelievable. The day after I got it back at least a few months ago it never worked.

Took some devices in for repair. They gave an estimate upfront. The repair cost exactly how much they said it would. I was most impressed with their communication. They gave updates while waiting on parts and the repair. After the repair, they followed up to make sure everything is still working. It is rare for a business to communicate so well with their customers.

I had a speedometer and tachometer on my Harley that I wanted switched to LED lighting on. McKenna ( sorry if I didnt spell that right) did a outstanding job. had it done same day and everything worked accordingly. Hi there, Ill have you guys know that today was my SECOND time in (due to personal reasons because Im not the brightest sometimes) and Normal Gadgets came in clutch, yet again. A couple of months ago I was directed to them because my phone completely shut down and wouldnt turn on. I thought I lost everything, but they were able to restore it when no one else could!! Yesterday, I dropped my phone causing the screen to gradually stop working, so I took it in and they were thankfully able to repair it within a couple hours. HIGHLY recommend NG, as theyve helped me more than once and are always very welcoming and willing!! Also highly recommend getting a good case for your phones so stuff like this doesnt happen to you hahaha

I needed to have my phone screen replaced. Normal Gadgets gave me a quick and accurate estimate of the cost, told me what side effects the repair might have on the appearance of the back of the phone, gave me a date for the repair and informed me how long it would take. All went as they had told it would: the phone was ready when promised at a little lower cost than I was told and they gave me a free screen cover to boot. It looks great and works perfectly. I will definitely go there for my next phone repair!

I was hit with the “screen of no return” on my IPhone 10, I called Apple, after a 2 hour conversation plus wait, nothing! I took my phone to normal gadgets for a cracked screen. The glass on the phone was broken and there was no other problems besides that. It was fixed. However, a week later the side of my screen started to turn discolored and unresponsive. The phone was not dropped, scratched or a sign of damage. They said it wasn’t covered by warranty because it was my doing and it was a sign of it being dropped. I proceeded to tell them that it wasn’t dropped and there is no sign of it being dropped. There was no scratches or breaks anywhere on the phone. The worker then said “You could have pushed on the screen to hard” and “it could be from the phone being in your pocket.” I’ve had this phone for a year and a half and never had a problem with my phone being in my pocket before getting a new phone screen form here. They also offer discounts for posting highly of their company, so reviews may be deceiving. I will not be returning.

I really don’t know how this place is open the responses to these comments make me wonder how customers are handled. Glad I read reviews before coming. Also see complaints about pricing big oof. I’m not even going to try to call them because I can see already it wouldn’t go well. The employees are on top of things, I didnt have to wait, my cell phone was repaired and back in use in record time, so yes I went back again and again - so if your electronics are giving you fits - bring it in and see if it can be repaired

Extremely unprofessional. Staff has no idea how to handle a customer properly. Screen cracked again after 5 months under the tempered glass with a case. Called to talk about options and talked to a very rude man on the phone who even after I said I would pay for another repair acted like I was wasting his time. Started huffing and puffing like he couldnt believe I wanted to know the price for another repair. Guess my business wasnt worth his time. Never said sorry, never said he understood my frustration, never offered any options until I asked for them. Note to owner- if you cant handle dealing with customers then dont offer products and services to the public. You just lost a long time customer who gets all their work done there.The owner replies to the google reviews with lies and misleading responses to defend his unprofessional and un ethical business practices. If you call and are not happy they automatically think you just want something for free.

Waste of my time and money. Took my computer and said they would perform a diagnostic on it, then gave it back said it was unfixable, yet said they had nobody that was able to run a full diagnostic on it. Go somewhere else if you want anything that requires a brain.

Fast, Friendly had the phone fixed in about 40 minutes. I waited as not to have to drive back and pick it up since I live about the time it would take round trip. Cost me around $100 . The disappointment was I asked to use the restroom and was told it was closed on Saturdays, you think it would be okay since I just spent what I call hard earned money there.

This is the second time Ive used Normal Gadgets. They first time apple told me my sons phone was not able to be fixed the screen was cracked and they said the mother board was broken. Normal Gadgets fixed it cheaper and quicker and was only the screen. I went back three months later for another issues after Sprint and Apple said it wasnt able to be fixed. Normal Gadgets didnt fix it either but tried multiple things for me to try and save me money. I did have to order a new phone but not for lack of them trying. Great job Normal Gadgets!
