Amazing and sweet non judgement staff. They were so kind and polite made me feel at ease and comfortable with my situation where i was embarrassed about my teeth. They do not take my type of insurance but i would of loved to continue with them. Give them a try if they accept your insurance!! They are good down to earth people the staff are super sweet from the nurse to the doctor to the receptionist
Place is exceptional for as soon as you enter to the finish. Every one of them is very professional and place very warm appealing . Going years in different clinic and now this, makes me very pleased. Highly recommend place. Most visit to believe.
This location is terrible. They consistently give you incorrect information and have to always reschedule your appointments. However. They wait to the last minute, like the day of, to tell you they need to reschedule. You constantly have to repeat things because they either don’t listen to you or don’t note information you provide. Don’t waste your time. I’m finding a new dentist! Unless you like to be annoyed and frustrated, go elsewhere.
Stay away from this place. Waited almost 2hrs for a cleaning. Doctor went to lunch on me and I had an appointment at the time they provided. And yes I was there on time. Unacceptable customer service. Look elsewhere. I had to reschedule my Cleaning for next day after they tried to give me an appointment for next month because the were booked.

I had a great experience there. The head dental hygienist Rose was amazing. She was very attentive and focused. She asked me if I was in pain and if I was comfortable multiple times, which made me feel better. I was in and out in 30 minutes. At the end of the treatment Dr. Kristen Ramirez came in to check and make sure that everything went well with my treatment.
Everyone in the office was polite and very helpful. I need some major work done and they were great at explaining the process step by step and giving me all the needed information to make a decision that was best for me. I appreciate the open candid response to my questions and the clear description of what needed to be done. I would recommend this Aspen Dental office to all my family, friends and people I know.
It was the first time we were there at Aspen Dental on Army Trail. Everyone was absolutely sooo nice and knowledgeable and didnt mind going through different kind of plans for my mom and I. My mom is a cancer survivor, and her gums and teeth has been a problem since chemo and radiation. So thank you for every one here for helping my mom further in her cancer journey 🖤 OH the women who is in charge of the finances and payment plan SHE IS SUCH AN AMAZING PERSON. Do not come to Aspen dental. I came here around a month and a half ago because my regular dentist retired but I will never come back to Aspen. I go to the dentist office every 6 months and have not had any issues with my mouth health besides the occasional cavity. I was sitting in the waiting room for almost an hour before they were able to see me. They took X-rays and I waited another 45 minutes to see the doctor. She told me I had an irreversible gum disease that would require a deep cleaning. They told it would be almost $3000 and that my insurance would not cover any of it. I asked the lady why and she could not give me an explanation. I asked her to print out what she had on the screen and took it to my son’s family dentist. He told me that I didn’t need 90% of what Aspen said I did and could not believe that they would try to scam me into buying any of this. They tried getting me to take out a 5 year loan for this “treatment”. My sons dentist was able to this for 1/10 of the cost. Do not come here, they will drain you dry.

I have always had a fear of the dentist from a bad experience as a kid. I finally decided to go and I am BEYOND glad I chose Aspen. The staff were so kind, so understanding and I didnt feel judged in any way. They made sure to treat me like a person and everyone was so respectful. I had my wisdom teeth pulled there just this Monday 10/27/20 and the doctor was professional very confident. It put me at ease. His assistant, I cant remember her name she was probably in her 20s-30s, gave the most outstanding customer service though. She found answers for me right away. Even practically carried me out to the car and buckled me in while I was extremely inebriated after waking back up. Id say she made it one of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had. Just very caring and the exact kind of person that the world needs working in health care. Theyre lucky to have her.

Even tho I was not the easiest patient to deal with and the doctor could have refused to work on me she had the empathy to understand the numerous surgeries I had going on back to back and did a terrific job of pretty painlessly removing 7 teeth so I could have my hip surgery the end of next week. I apologized for taking my stress out of dr. Ramirez and I hope we will complete this journey together a. To anyone in the office that I was less than polite to I apologize. I was extremely disappointed. The people were nice, but after an hour and a half I still didnt have my teeth cleaned and was on my way to talk to a financial manager who told me it would cost 344$. I asked to just have a regular cleaning like I made the appointment for. I was quoted 103$ including xray and exam. They refused to clean my teeth!!!!! What kind of dental office refuses to clean teeth!

They’re probably gonna give you a $130 toothbrush you don’t need without telling you and dump a bunch of extra special toothpastes on you too but I guess at least my teeth are clean

At this moment, I wish I could give zero stars. We have yet to actually be seen by a dentist. I made an appointment at 2 oclock in the afternoon. I work nights, so I go to bed at 4:00 p.m. Yhey called at 5:00 p.m. to confirm the appointment I made just 3 hours ago. But because I was sleeping, I did not answer to confirm it. The appointment was for the very next day at noon. So we show up at noon the very next day and they tell us that they cancel the appointment because no one confirmed when they called the previous evening. My daughter goes to college and drove here from Bloomington Illinois just to go to this dentist appointment. So now we have wasted time and money in gas to go to dentist where we were refused to be seen because they canceled the appointment 3 hours after I called them to make the appointment.

Very poor customer service. I had confirmed appointment with email confirmation. When I reach there on time, I was informed your appt is cancelled without any prior communication or notice, which was so dis appointing. It messed up my whole schedule with job and a baby.
Employees are thorough and efficient in what they do. The doctor only recommends what you need and does not push unnecessary work. The staff is very accommodating and the facility is clean
I have a returned to the Aspen Blooingdale office many times but today my I had the AMAZING AMANDA, Shes the only one that I felt cared about how I feel and the issues with my dentures and well being on how my dentures were making me. I was really a low point with Aspen Dental until Amanda. Everything is not complete but I felt so much better when I left all because of Amanda. What a dedicated young woman that Amanda. My advice is run in the opposite direction. I had a horrible experience. The one star is for the dental team’s bedside manner. I made an appointment and told 4 different people that I have a dentist that I follow up with regularly and I only need a cleaning. Bottom line, I went there with no dental issues but dirty teeth but I came home with the same dirty teeth, was eating a granola bar and ironically broke a tooth. Hmmm!!! To make it more interesting, the dentist had just looked at the X-Ray and we only talked about two teeth in particular. She said I had some built up plaque but the tooth looked fine and there was no cavity there. I have to endure several X-Rays and 3 different mouth exams one which had an object that the dental assistant she pressed down on my teeth. Not sure what that and then usual hygienist gum check and then a quick exam by the dentist all for an ludicrous $300+ (She ask if the price was okay, I’m thinking is this a dentist office or Let’s make deal or let’s be like Priceline and let me decide what I want to pay) for a cleaning. Does that mean that they randomly pull a number out of the hat which is why no one knows but the “Office Manager”. To add insult to injury she said we have financing available. I declined and told her that I was paying cash. Then she hit me with the we require prepayment. Prepayment for a cleaning for a future date. Who does that? Hmmm. I’m wondering if this is “standard policy”. Keep in mind that I was a cash customer. When I told her I didn’t have it with me then she asked for a $100 deposit like the desperate used car or furniture salesperson whose on commission when they want to make sure you come back. How annoying! During the entire time I was there I asked everyone how much is it for a cleaning and that person leaves the room and someone else enters and talk about everything but the price. After I ask the dentist who was the 4th person she left the room and in come the “Office Manager” aka Money Lady aka Salesman who has to lead me back into the money cubicle, I knew they were going to lay it on real thick and boy was I right. Again it follows the same method of a buy here, pay bad credit accepted used car dealership that I found myself in years ago. The treatment was bad enough then to make me get my act and credit together so I can walk on my own terms. The “Aspen Experience” urges me to return to the practice of checking Yelp and Google reviews on every business I do business with even those that have a shiny prime time commercial with a household name. Now I’m stuck going back to my dentist with my dirty teeth back to my dentist for extensive work. Save yourself some time and money and find another dentist. By the way, this was the Bloomingdale office. Be sure to check out Yelp reviews as well.

First impression is bad. Patient of Aspen Dental had told me, he is coming to see doctors in that location for two years, and they cannot fix mistake they made. I went for second opinion. And requested one doctor, when I came in was completely different doctor. Just two months prior I had cleaning done, and on this visit hygienist tried to scare me, that I have a gum infection, lies in my face and pushes me in to deep gum cleaning. Which is not even covered by insurance. Rude...Greedy...Doctor was civil, but not convincing on treatment. Insurance sucks in United States. Aspen Dental never again.

I made an appointment for the next day and had the insurance pre-certifications faxed in. Few minutes later, I saw a courtesy voice message from them confirming the appt and requested to fax in the papers or reschedule, if I couldnt have them faxed. Since I had already faxed in, didnt make much of the message. But, when I showed up for appointment, they had cancelled the appointment. Left work early for nothing. They could have atleast informed that they had cancelled. Go to a local doctor. Hate these businesses!Had to go back there again, since my insurance pre-approvals made it difficult to switch serviceprovider. This time, for some reason, one of their x-rays didnt work. Eventually, took x-rays with another machine. I was told that the cleaning will not be done on the first appointment and I had to make a separate appointment for that. I have never heard that before. On top, they were interested to collect money for the future appointment.How do we keep these corporates out from messing with essential services?

She was treated as tho it were their mom.She is looking forward to her new dentures and the completion date. Why?So she can smile at them and say Thank You for helping me.

First time to an Aspen Dental but it was the strangest dentist appointment I’ve had. Scheduled a regular checkup to get mine and my wife’s teeth cleaned and they only xrays and looked at our teeth then scheduled another appointment to actually do the cleanings... was not told this would be the process when booking, just very strange. Make sure to ask when booking.

Very unprofessional and argumentative staff. The billing department is very pushy and doesnt take time to fully discuss payments and options with you. I have been told two different stories regarding as to why I received a bill in the mail. Please avoid this place if you value your money and time.
My first visit was very pleasant. Everyone was professional, easy to talk to and carefully listened to my needs. Full Xrays were completed, hygienistoral exam and dentist exam were proficient. Treatment recommendations opposed what my regular dentist recommended...which made more sense.

By far one of the best experiences I’ve had at a dentist. I was recommended here by a friend who explained she went to a different location but was pleased with what she received along with costs. I then went to try for myself as a new customer. I booked my appointment online which was fairly simple. I was able to print all needed documents and completed at home before I arrived which helped as I only waited about 15 mins to be seen. Got X-rays done and then a simple extraction which was the main reason for my visit. Jess (office mgr?) then went over everything needed for me. She took the time and was extremely informative with my options and went over all the costs associated with future procedures right up front. I appreciated all the work/time Jess was able to put forth. The entire staff was helpful and made me feel very welcome. I will certainly be recommending Aspen to others!
I’ve heard bad things about this office but wanted to experience it myself. It’s sad what dentistry has transformed into, sales sales sales. What I experienced was very unethical and I don’t even want to talk about the cross contamination (were in the middle of a pandemic). I’ve been a RDH for 14 years and the “hygienist” tried to scam me on a $2500 SRP, let me remind you.. I AM A RDH. Did not perio chart or discuss a single thing! Felt comfortable enough to enter in tx though. I don’t think corporate as a whole is unethical but attracts the wrong personalities. BBB will be contacted soon. The public needs to do their research before entering this practice.
Friendly staff and nice office but the quality of the service is questionable. My teeth cleaning lasted less than 10 minutes and I barely got my teeth polished. Another time the doctor pushed invisalign on me for no reason at all. Don’t seem to have the patients best interest in mind.
This place is a giant scam. They extremely overcharge, want cash payments in advance, and then takes weeks to get any money back from them. They do NOT return phone calls, and everyone you talk to gives you different information. The office manager is great to get you to fork over your money, but after that she disappears and never returns your calls. After 3 weeks of not being able to anyone in charge to call back, I decided to get my money and go elsewhere. You think thats easy? I feel like they stole my money, been fighting several more weeks now to get it back from them. This place should be investigated.
Horrible experience!!! God forbid you have an emergency, you will not only be way over charged but be treated like you are a piece of garbage!! My husband went in yesterday for a “Simple” tooth extraction!! Was charged for a surgical removal!! 315$!!! There was no reason for surgery!! The dentist claimed that if she tried to take out the back last molar that she would crack the tooth next to it and have to take that one too! She shattered the tooth which turned it into a surgical visit!! Wow I was shocked!! And to hear how much time (5 hours) it took to get through this process!! My husband said they called him to cancel his appointment after it was made because they needed to know if he was really in pain or could this wait! He stated that he was in severe pain because his filling came out and the nerve was exposed! He decided to just have it pulled! I have spoken with 2 other practices and they all said the same thing surgical extraction requires anesthesia!! He was given local!! Please be ware of this place they are out for your money!!This was a gross negligence on this practice malpractice for sure!!!! Never again Aspen dental never again!

PLEASE … PLEASE, stay away from this place and save your budget…one of the rip-off places that Ive ever visited, I went to this clinic when I had a serious pain in one of my teeth that I couldnt take it anymore, they did their checking and told me your tooth need (re-do) root canal and crown. In addition I had to do simple filling for one of the front teeth which is not a big deal as the major problem that I had that day which is has to be done by a specialist and they showed me the breakdown of all the numbers after contacted my insurance and got the numbers, and they told me here is what are you responsible for (over $1300), it was kinda too much for me for the root canal and crown but I had no other options cause I was in real pain and wanted to get rid of the problem asap. after 3 months they sent me another bill and it is over $1300 and they said this is the amount that you need to pay too (in addition of the first amount that I already paid before), because your insurance didnt pay it cause you maxed out your limit, I told them no, the amount you showed me in the beginning was based on the insurance response so how in the world that I get an (updated amount) after 3 months and its about the double of the what I shouldve been paid, if they wouldve given me the right amount (over $2600) I would definitely walk out the door cause Im not going to pay this amount for one tooth, but I think something wrong was going on their side from beginning and they didnt give me the right amount. The right amount is something really important for the customers to know about so they can be aware of what kind of numbers they are about to pay which is something I usually get every time I visit any clinic, I complained about that twice and they didnt even bother themselves and try to give me any solutions, I called their HQ in NY and they promised me as well to give me call back, guess what … nothing. cause money is all they care about, they dont care about building a good reputation for the company, they dont care about keeping the customers with them as a loyal customers because loyalty comes from the confident and trust of the customers to their clinic which is gone once they showed me how stupid was I when they gave me a bill in the beginning and then they sent me another bill which they stated as another amount that I need to pay.
This place and people working here are wonderful. I had a scheduled appointment but when I arrived it didn’t pull up in the system, however they were able to put me in with a hygienist right away and get everything taken care of that needed to be done. They make a plan for you and have exceptional service. I drive a little out of the way to get there but it’s worth it for sure!

We visited the office on Army Trail Road and from the moment we walked in the door, the staff was very polite and helpful. The doctors and financial coordinator were also polite and very informative with any information we needed.

Made an appointment for consultation for 5pm and have a confirmed email with that time. Just received an email stating looking forward to seeing you at 4pm. Called and they said they could squeeze me in at 5! That was my appointment!!!! I told them to cancel, if they are changing times now before I come, what will happen later, or are they going to quote me one amount and change it, change the treatment plan without discussing it with me first! Bad feeling that something isn’t right! I have such horrible luck with dentist!!!!
My experience at Aspen dental was great,all the gals there were professional and made me feel like I was in good hands and when the dentist/doctor came in she too was very good. i needed a tooth extraction, Im sure it was difficult because it was in the way back on the bottom right side. She was like popeye though and plucked it out. Strong lady. I know I need more work done and itll be a long road until Im finished but I trust the ladies at Aspen dental and highly recommend them for anything you need done.
Terrible terrible terrible!!!!! DO NOT GO TO ANY ASPEN DENTAL. They just want your money. They do terrible work. I need to have all the work (thankfully only 2 fillings) completely redone. My new xrays show pockets in my fillings because they didnt do them right. I still (after 2 years) can not chew on the left side of my mouth because the 2 teeth with fillings hurt all the time. Their response, just give it time. Check out reviews on glassdoor. There will be a class action against them for sure!!

Very professional place, I like the fact where they will tell you what it costs before they do any procedure if you are paying out of pocket/ insurance so that you are not surprised at the end. And also the manager from there will explain everything and prices so that you know ahead and can decide the plan for action. Prices are fair and staff very friendly and informative. I’ve had multiple root canals done by them, 4 in total, and they were all done incorrectly - the left part of the root in. Resulting in me now having to get two teeth extracted (by a new dentist) because the infection was so bad that my bone deteriorated. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THEM AGAIN.
I was visiting any dental place for the first time in my entire life, since my oral condition was getting worst so it was a must action for me to take and get myself a treatment which was due since God knows when just because i was scared of dentist, well after visiting Aspen Dental i can say that they are the best and knows exactly what they are doing from the help desk to the Doctor just a wonderful experience, and honestly Dr. Romeria is the best.
My experience of Aspen dental is very positive. Everything I experienced is the way I was used to buy a dental clinic in Arkansas, where we had lived before moving to Illinois.I have future appointments, and then I will see the type of dentistry Aspen dental does.
On May 2nd, 2019 Dr. Guthrie was to extract 23 teeth, smooth the bone and provide me with temporary dentures. He left 7 root tips, half of a tooth, and didn’t smooth the bone at all. The giant temp dentures wouldn’t fit into my mouth. I returned May 28th to have Dr. Ramirez cut open all 4 quadrants to smooth the bone and remove the remaining tooth. Still had sharp points all over my mouth and had to find a new dentist for a 3rd surgery to fix their mess (another $9k). I paid them in advance for the surgery and they are telling me I still owe them $2,374.66 for their inept surgery and dentures they never provided.
I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 5 years. The doctor and staff made me feel comfortable immediately. I believe her name was Melissa who performed the comprehensive X-rays. She was pleasant and highly efficient. If the bitewing was causing discomfort she would adjust it immediately. Holly, the hygienist measured my gums and asked me if I was comfortable as she worked on me. Doctor Ramirez came in a short time later, reviewed my chart, the X-rays, and gum measurements. She explained everything to me and even brought up the X-ray on the screen in front of me so I could visually see what she was explaining. I told Dr Ramirez I had a bridge that I was concerned about. Sensing my apprehension she said “Let me take a look at that” and then asked “is there any other area you are concerned”? I felt she really listened and cared. Together, we decided on a treatment plan. That made me feel great because I like to be involved in decisions and not just be told something. The hygienist performed a cleaning. It was pain free and comfortable. I don’t know why I waited so long to visit a dentist. I would recommend this office and doctor!
Had a cracked partial and made an appointment reason is they except my insurance. The reason I will keep going is the kindness and the compassion. Story went for my second visit there was what looks like a homeless man in the lobby the receptionist was kind had a conversation with the man. He wasnt bothering anyone just needed conversation.
In for a 4 month check-up. I had to wait only 3 minutes. Holly was my hygienist - check-up and cleaning went fine. Scheduled the next appointment while still in the chair.Took around 20-30 minutes. Not sure exactly due to minor dentist anxiety :)
Receiptionist was nice. Dental assistant, not as much. Doctor was super kind. I had an appointment at 8:15. Didn’t leave the office till 11:30. When I asked how much longer it would take the assistant told me they they had to “squeeze me in”?? But I had an appointment?Overall, I will not return. I saw my original dentist today and she was appalled that they filled a cavity that was already filled when really I needed a root canal.Good thing I only spent $30.
I will never do business with this dental office again! Dont get me wrong most of the staff at the Bloomingdale office is friendly. It is the business part that sucks. They did not billed my insurance until a year later. Last year I received a call from the office manager stated they never had insurance on file, which was a lie! They said that in order to cover their mess up. The previous office manager did something wrong and lied and said something was wrong with my insurance.Why you didnt call so the could have been corrected? Lies lies and more lies. Now I am stuck with a bill that I should not be responsible for paying when I had two dental insurance. I call no one wants to speak to me. Thats alright. Ill never do business with this dental office again. P.s. I will be looking through previous reviews to see if other patients experienced what Ive been through.
I enjoyed the cleanliness of this up to date location. The staff is super friendly and I was explained costs of all the procedures I was looking into getting in an itemized list up front, which I really appreciated. I really enjoyed Kendras outstanding customer service and professionalism.
I went in for a cleaning and found out i had a cracked tooth. They put me right in to get the process going to get it fixed. I felt so comfortable there. I am raving to my friends about them.
Very extremely sad I ever went here and let myself be taken advantage of. I was also not examined by the dentist when I was told I need 3 crowns. 2 being replacement crowns. Which I thought was odd because my visit at another office 6 mo back showed no issues, no work needing done. They stated I had decay under my crowns, said they could see this on the X-ray. I was skeptical, but one of my crowns was really old so I went ahead and made an appt. they spent over 30 minutes trying to pull my crown off and they drilled so much I bled for an hour. Obviously there was no decay, they pulled an awesome crown off. Within 24 hours my temporary crown came off while I was eating soup, no matter how many times they put the temp crown on it fell right off. Finally the permanent came in and it fell off the same day. went to another office and was told there was absolutely no decay on the X-ray, that I DO NOT NEED ANY new crowns. This whole experience was extremely traumatic and the staff they do not care.
Worse experience. I could tell money is all this place cares about. I’d never go back nor recommend anyone
My experience with other dental offices, given my severity of my dental problems have always been horrible. Other office have been disrespectful and just down right rude, all they saw was $$$ nothing more nothing less.Coming to Aspen Dental was the best decision i could have made. Ive never felt so welcoming and been treated with respect. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistant to the dentist down to their financial staff, Everyone gave me that same treatment and made me feel so comforting. They knew how scared, nervous and embarrassed i was going in and they did such a great job in taking all of that away. I left their office feeling so good about my self which speaks volumes!!!I ABSOLUTELY recommend ASPEN DENTAL to everyone.
Ive had to reschedule 4 times now because each time they are over an hr behind, and they dont tell you that until you have been waiting for 45 min. If I could go someplace else at this point I would, but Ive already paid for everything. At least I know my mom and husband wont be going there as originally planned.
If I could give them no stars I would. They are frauds. They tell you to come in and since you don’t have insurance your first visit is only 19 bucks. So you think there gonna help you but in actuality there gonna screw you over tell you you need all this work done and you can apply for a line of credit to pay for the 5000 of work you need. Do not waste your time here these people are pathetic.
Its a nice place but i found it odd that the dentist did not examine me herself.... that was definitely a first for me. The staff is friendly but I definitely would prefer to get a second opinion

Went to Aspen for a cleaning and new upper dentures,after seeing their commericals I was really excited for my new teeth.i thought how wonderful to have the lab on site I wont have to wait forever and I would have my new teeth for vacation!first let me say that the staff was wonderful but the lab is AWFUL! I kept going for three months they redid a wax mold four times and once the machine ate the wax mold! On the fourth try when I went in to see the teeth they looked like something you would buy in a Halloween store.the tech even agreeded it looked terrible and never once did they offer to compensate me for the many times I had to go back. I finally said I wanted my money back which they did right away.i was so disappointed and I would never recommend anyone having dentures made there oh and by the way I was buying their expensive denture so you cant even say its because they were cheap!
I came in last minute in desperate need to have my wisdom tooth pulled. I was in excruciating pain that kept me up the night before. They took great care of me! Wonderful staff and excellent Dr!!! I would reccomend them to anyone!
