I was filing for an uncontested divorce but unfortunately my spouse changed her mind on what our agreement was. Moving forward with information for a contested divorce seemed like it was going to be just as simple. The retaining fee in Jan was $2.5K. I came back in June, I was then told $3.5K. Now here in July I was just told this morning $5K!! The divorce itself is frustrating but what is also frustrating, each time I save up the money to try and move forward….the prices change.

The defendant received all of the paperwork before I did although I was the one represented. The judge made his final judgement 6 days prior to me calling them and asking them about the paperwork. Prior to me calling them, I emailed them about it and I never heard back. When I called them, no one apologized for the issue. Not one single time. I spoke to two people. Neither apologized. This team is very not compassionate, they’re unprofessional and inconsiderate during sensitive processes. I would never recommend them to anyone.
