Recently my outside ac unit went out in August, Im a electrician and found the the compressor showed to be open and fearing the worst (a new unit ) I called around and nobody would call me back . I called Southern Home Services and the owner called and said he was on the way . He didnt try to sell me a new unit or churn the job to make as much money as he could off me he just fixed the compressor . Its been a almost a year and its still going strong ! Since Im in a trade Ive heard AC repair people brag about putting it to the man aka a new unit when it just needed a simple repair . Ill never call anyone else and you shouldnt either.

I had a problem with my dishwasher backing into my sink. They sent a plumber and assistant out to take a look at it. They quickly had it figured out. They were friendly and professional, went over all of my options, and gave me an exact cost before beginning work. Everything has worked perfectly since the repair. Im very happy with them and will use again.

I will start by saying that I havent actually had any services performed by Southern Home Services...yet. But after Mr. Corley took my call late in the night and spent a good 30 minutes talking me through what to do about my A/C, I will definitely use this company when I need A/C service. Its always the little things that make a difference.

There are very few people and/or companies that hold themselves accountable for their actions! Southern Home Services is certainly a company that is on this very short list! We appreciate their honesty & integrity, on time service and the fact that they fix the problems the first time, and on time!

Our experience with plumbers in the Birmingham area over the years seems to have always ended up with us needing to have to buy something extra. I called up southern home services to come work on our hvac unit last summer and with the recent polar vortex that came through; we called them again to come fix a pipe that had burst. On both occasions the technicians never once tried to upsell us or hassle us over upgrading our plumbing or hvac to the newest best thing in the market. These guys work on flat salary and are never paid in commissions so you can expect a non-biased response to whatever your situation is. I highly recommend these folks and my family and I will definitely continue to use their services.
