Excellent knowledge, timely service, very competitive pricing, and refreshing professionalism all around.We had a service call with Daniel French at noon on Wednesday. After a 30 minute inspection, we had established the coil leak and I received a thorough explanation and price breakdown for both the attic evaporator coil replacement and exterior 13 year old condenser replacement. Eric Perkins and Daniel had the new unit in place and running, the coil swapped, and the job site cleaned by noon on Friday. We couldnt be more impressed or satisfied. Highly recommend.

This company is the best! They can handle any type of HVAC or refrigeration issues with no problem at all. As well as other issues as well. All of there employees are very honest & trustworthy. Called the company to replaced a 10 ton unit at one of my buildings in Birmingham on the third floor and was not expecting the work to be completed so quickly. Daniel French and his team consisting of Josh, Jacob and Eric got the complete install completed in 2 days, even with rain. I really appreciate that they worked to accommodate the tenants in my building as addressed older issue that had been reported to ensure that their install was not impede by anything.You should definitely use this company if you value professionalism and a timely response.

I called on 8/25/21 because my AC wasnt cooling. Not only did I get an appointment set for the same day but the entire team was professional and so nice! The tech Josh fixed my AC and the price was way less than expected. Impeccable customer service from everyone and I will definitely use them again!

My experience with HCS has been very positive. They are friendly, experienced and professional. My first experience was when they installed an electrostatic attic fan. They did an excellent job and the fan improved the temperature in the attic. They have continued to maintain my existing heat pump. I can rely on and feel confident in their advice. I plan to use HCS when my heat pump needs to be replaced and for further maintenance needs.

We had an issue with a new hi-tech thermostat my husband installed. It was working well, too well. The emergency heat never shut off. We were looking at a skyrocketing power bill. Chris came out the same day we called. He was very courteous, took his time and was very thorough. He fixed the wiring in the thermostat unit, inspected the air handler under the house, and the return. He inspected the box of the thermostat to make sure he did not miss anything. Problem solved! I have a small remodeling company. Because we are small, personal interaction is vital to our survival. Keely and her folks represent our company better than any of the others that we work with. Today I was called by a new client who stated that Hollands tech found things that the previous THREE companies missed. And in doing so, actually suggested that they didnt need a new system, but improved insulation because the current system is large enough. Let me rephrase that, the tech DID NOT sell them what they were asking for, and what was approved by the budget department of this large property management firm, and in doing so, saved them approximately $4000. THAT IS SERVICE. This company manages thousands of properties in the metro area, Holland didnt even know that fact. Guess who is getting the call first the next time??

We have been using Holland for over 20 years. They always do a thorough job. The servicemen are kind and professional. They came out for our summer service call and found our unit had died. After installing a new unit they had to come out a couple more times because the new unit was not cooling properly. They finally decided the unit was bad from the manufacturer. So they came out with another new unit. What I like about Holland is that they stand behind their work. They will not stop until you are satisfied. Great job Holland!!

When my upstairs A/C unit went out, a big name hvac repair company came out and gave me an expensive estimate to replace a control board. I decided to get a second opinion, and Holland HCS came out the next day and diagnosed the real problem, a small part. They saved me a ton of money and the service was great.

Mr. Holland came out to our house at 9pm in November 2012 because our heat had went out and we informed him that we had two small children in our home. He had excellent skills and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Should an issue ever arise again I will for sure contact his company.

This is a company that treats you like family! I lost my air last Saturday and contacted HACS late afternoon. The temperature in my home was hovering around 86 degrees. The lady that I spoke to was very caring and easy to speak to. She was attempting to send a technician out Saturday night, but I told her it was o.k. to setup the appointment for Sunday morning due to bad weather in the area. She contacted me early Sunday to let me know that the technician was on the way to my home. They also have an automated texting system that notified my cell when the technician was on the way. The technician Billy arrived quickly and started to diagnose the issue with the outside air condenser after I told him the symptoms. Billy was a great guy to work with and was very knowledgeable. Billy told me that I defiantly had a bad capacitor and possibly a compressor. I pretty much knew the capacitor was bad before he even arrived onsite. Due to having a 13-year-old odd name 5-ton system Billy didn’t have the right capacitor on the truck. He asked me how bad I wanted it fixed on Sunday due to the warehouse being closed and it would cost a small fee to open. I told him that I was hot and willing to pay the small fee. Billy left the house and came back about an hour later to repair the unit. When Billy pulled up I stopped him from repairing the unit. I told him since it was a 13-year-old system, and I have had issues in the past that I was ready to replace. I didn’t feel any pressure from Billy attempting to sale me a new system. He was ready for the less expensive repair. Billy called home office and setup an appointment to replace the system on Monday morning. The crew showed up Monday morning ready to work. Everyone felt welcoming and treated my home like it was theirs. I was very excited for the cold air Monday night. I appreciate everyone at HACS that helped my family during this time of discomfort.

I can not say enough about Home and Commercial Services! I recently had an issue with my heat pump blowing cold air. My home warranty company had sent three separate companies out to my house to fix the problem. Every company the home warranty service sent diagnosed the problem incorrectly and sold me various components to fix the problem. But each time the problem persisted. After getting a run-around from each HVAC company, I was referred to called Home & Commercial by a friend. They showed up on time and the tech was courteous. Within 10 mins of being at my home, they properly diagnosed the problem (had a leak that not one of the other 3 companies checked) and patched the leak. These guys are the only ones to call!

Doesnt even deserve a whole star!!!Told them I think theres a leak. They just cleaned it, filled it with freon, & didnt come back to see if there was a leak.. And just 3 days later the A/C was out again!!!!They came back just to repeat what I said Theres a leak & said I needed a part but they TOTALLY forgot to order the part & my house was in the upper 80s for the next 11 days!!!!Called to check WHATS UP & all I could get was excuses about how the owner has become very forgetful!!!!!

The technician who did an inspection 08/19/17 of my HVAC (pursuant to a contract for the sale of my property) left a contact wire disconnected. I was not only without AC all weekend, but had to have to have a service call to repair the problem. At least it was very negligent!

Sold me used unit with no problems for 1100 and it broke first day was supposed to be guaranteed to work he wont fix it or give me money back not trust worthy at all
