Ruby was absolutely amazing! Im a weirdo who loves when a hygienist actually talks to you and learns about your life and we talked a lot during my cleaning! She was also very thorough. It felt like she actually took her time to make sure my teeth were super clean instead of rushing it. My dentist was also incredible! Would definitely recommend this place for your dental needs!Also when I was having a weird jaw pain a few months ago they got me in and took the time to make sure everything was OK! Amazing dentist office all around.

And Yellowstone Family dental was fantastic, they really cared about you as a patient and my hygienist Ruby was fantastic at cleaning and making sure I felt at ease!! The dental hygienist, Amanda, was especially gentle with me and I was very pleased with the cleaning that she accomplished-as was Dr. Sawyer Ferguson. I appreciated her thoroughness and explaining what dental procedures needed to be done. Front desk as well was very kind in setting up appointments for me that were convenient and explaining billing. I will be very happy to return for my further appointments with a lot less concern that on my primary appointment. I am a very happy patient!

Bethany at YFD was more than accommodating in rescheduling my kids after I showed up on the wrong day. She was able to get one in with another hygienist at the same time and the other rescheduled quickly after. Completely my fault and never once did she act slightly impatient with me. I called earlier today to inquire about paying the balance on my girlfriends account, and was treated in a short and disrespectful manner by their billing department. Its a shame because Ive always heard they excellent customer service, and unfortunately that wasnt my experience. In the future I hope your employees will be a little bit more polite. Btw, I like how you guys seem to have an answer for every complaint that is made about you. How about you apologize on behalf of your rude employee, and move on Steve? I only hung up on her after she gave me an attitude. Find a employee who deals well with people, and quit making excuses for your businesses poor customer service.

I missed one appointment for a cleaning, I had a lot going on in my life at that point and was very overwhelmed. When I tried to call and reschedule I found out that I was banned from any future scheduling and could only do “same day” care. Not an option when I work full time. While I understand the premise behind this, I find it unreasonable to do this after a single missed appointment. I could see if it was a repeated mistake, but this does not allow for any grace or understanding of patient situations. I think there are other places in town that treat patients with more compassion.Editing to respond to the misinformation from Steve below: You did not leave “five” voicemails and none of them were “pleading”, phrasing like that is manipulative and I see you guys behave this way with every review that does not speak of you in a positive light. Which is very telling. Nothing in my review was inappropriate, i was just speaking my perspective on your policy. I was dealing with some very personal health issues at that time. Life happens, which was why I said I don’t think you guys treat your patients with very much empathy. I have found another practice that has much better customer service.

I moved to Billings this year and had not picked a dentist yet. Last week I broke a tooth and even though Yellowstone Family Dental is very busy, they managed to get me in a couple days! They were extremely friendly and professional and now I have found my new dentist office!

When I called at least 10 different dentist in Billings on a Friday afternoon only to discover only a couple would give me an appointment on Monday Yellowstone Family Dental was one.They also were only one accepting my recently acquired dental supplemental coverage.with humana which is marginal. I got crown completed in 2 short visits with great staff and excellent treatment. Highly recommend 👌 👍

The welcome technician at the front was very kind, I can not speak for the others. My hygienist from OK was wonderful and knowledgeable. I was seen 15 minutes after my scheduled time but that wasn’t anything to gripe about. It’s a beautiful building with terrible access but overall I’m happy with the service and costs

Dr. P is great - doesn’t invent problems, but fixes teeth that need fixin’ only. Dr. F is helpful, to the point, and highly competent. Been going for years highly recommend. The entire staff friendly and engaging.

My experience was with scheduling only. I spent almost 10 minutes scheduling for a dental visit and when I showed up for the date and time on my calendar with a very clear agreement with receptionist- there was no record of my name. I provided a phone record. a minor inconvenience in the scheme of health but I won’t be scheduling with them again. However, I was referred by a local physician and will now be making my own referrals for future reference. Scheduling is half the battle. I have no opinion I. Their dental care except that it takes my insurance.

Amazing customer service! Moving from another part of the country to MT. Has been great the people care and help. That was cemented for me by Ruth that works here. I felt as if I always came here for dental work. So many programs and ways to help you achieve the smile you want. For me the smiles started on the phone. Havent been yet but it already feels like family. Great job guys!

We have been faithful clients for 15 years and were recently told our insurance is no longer accepted and we would need to self pay with a discount. Sadly the customer service has gone down hill under new management over the last years and we will not be returning.

I made an appointment with Yellowstone Valley Dental because I broke a tooth and told them when I made the appointment that I just wanted it pulled (very back top tooth). When I got there, they took x-rays for the tooth and the root then gave me options for it. Again, I just wanted it pulled. I dont like going to the dentist, it terrifies me, so simply pull it and move on was my thought. By the time we established what I thought I had established when I called, that I wanted it pulled, it was too late in the appointment to get it done....so they rescheduled me....for two weeks down the road. UGH. Now I have to worry and dwell on it for another two weeks before it happens. NOT COOL. All that being said, the staff was great and the doctor was great. I just wish they would have listened to me when I made the appointment and just pulled it then, and it would all be behind me by now!

I had not been to the dentist in a very long time and the woman I spoke with on my initial call was very helpful in eliminating any worries and telling me about their Affordable Dental Discount Plan.My visit went even better. The staff was positive and helpful. I was seen right on time. Jessica did a great job cleaning my teeth, while holding a delightful conversation. There was a tv on the ceiling to watch but I really enjoyed the conversation more. She was professional, kind, caring, and informative.Dr. Sirounian was efficient and clear about the state of my teeth and even asked me if I had any questions, which I had never been asked at the dentist before.Great experience, felt truly cared for, and Im still amazed at how affordable it was. Will be recommending and returning.

Walked out just a moment ago from a root canal that I was terrified to get and have never felt so comfortable and relieved. My nurse and the doctor that took care of me here did everything they could to give stellar service. They went above and beyond to ensure that my procedure went incredibly smooth. On top of doing their jobs very well, they care about their patients and the experience that a person has here. Definitely a high quality place to go!

Had a great experience at the office. However, I was told that I would be emailed a cost estimate for my treatment plan by the end of the day of my visit- here we are two days later and no communication on cost for my upcoming appointment.

Awesome experience with my 3 year old for her first time at the dentist. The hygienist was very sweet with my girl and got her to comply with way more than I expected she would. She left with the usual goodie bag, plus a balloon and a toy, very impressed with their service and quality. Will be moving the whole family there, highly recommend!

Without a doubt the worst experience ever. The young woman who showed me to a room couldnt say enough about how bad my insurance was about paying. I would have to pay in advance and when my insurance did pay they would reimburse me. Then she said if I had had medicaid maybe I should get it back because they pay for dentures but their office doesnt take medicaid. Do I know how hard it will be to get used to new dentures? Well I think so Ive had dentures for 50 years. Over all I was made to feel more out of place than ever in my life.

Moving to Billings from Georgia was a bit challenging finding doctors. However, finding a great dental office was easy. A friend recommended Yellowstone Family Dental. No way was she wrong. From the time I made the appointment to the time I walked out was amazing. Heidi, who agreed to be my hygienist, was the best ever. She explained everything she was doing, which was an amazing cleaning. She was happy, bouncy, & fun. Dr. Matt Larson was extremely kind & polite. Hope I dont have to use him very much, but if I do I know I will be in good hands. I will learn everyones names but know yall are great. Thanks for the great treatment.

I went in thinking I was going to lose two of my molars, left relieved and happy because my dentist told me he can save them! Treatment will be a few more visits but I am at ease with cost, and no anxiety. The while team at Yellowstone Family Dental are super nice, positive and helpful! Great energy!

Excellent staff. Dr Larsen took time to explain my options and the procedure. He did an excellent job on my extraction and implant. He made a follow up call and sent a card in the mail. All staff were cordial and helpful. This all made the experience much more pleasant.

I’ve been going here for five years. The dental hygienists are amazing! The problem I have is the dentist. I had three cavities filled almost two months ago and my tongue is still numb. I can’t taste or feel anything on the left side. When I went back in to talk to him about it. He said it happens in 2 out of 1000 people. He kept saying he was sorry and prescribed me steroids. This didn’t help at all.I’ve had other cavities filled, one root canal and all of my wisdom teeth pulled. I’ve never had a problem like this before.

I recently switched dentist to Dr Blackwell and Sammy for myself and daughter and loved it! I had to get a root canal, which was terrifying all in itself, but they made it a very comfortable experience. My daughter is almost 3 and went it for a cleaning with Sammy and she loved it! Sammy did an amazing job making her feel special and included in the whole process. I would highly recommend Dr Blackwell and Sammy!

Missed a root on a root canal and capped it for top dollar. Last root went bad in about a year. They sent me elsewhere to fix their error at my expense without any pain medication and then charged me for a useless visit. Beware!!! Seek out an honorable company instead. They may mess you up too. You just cannot make this stuff up.

Samantha F. cleaned my teeth thoroughly and PAIN FREE (adding this in because it’s really hurt in the past and I hated it) while also engaging in some wonderful conversation. I recently switched over to Yellowstone Dental after being with my old dentist for my whole life. As I got older my teeth became extremely sensitive which in turn created a fear of dental work. Dr. Pearson and his team were phenomenal when I went to get some fillings the other day. I chose IV sedation and the whole process was easy and peaceful. I will definitely be returning!!!
