Ryan is an outstanding mechanic! Does fantastic work on exhaust and is very helpful and knowledgeable about all kinds of vehicles.

So I bought a used Toyota FJ Cruiser. Absolutely love this car, however it came with a pretty wimpy looking exhaust. I just googled an exhaust place. And luckily I find Shafers. Ryan is a great mechanic who specializes in exhausts it seems like. For $300 he replaced my muffler and welded on a new exhaust tip and it took about 2-3 hours, pretty fast. He only charged $100 for service because the parts were $200. Im only in Montana for a short time for work, but if I lived here I would always take my car here for service because Ryan does a great job, and hes a hard working good guy. Couldnt ask for better service here. Glad I could support a local small business.

I Googled Shafers Auto and called. The guy answered and I made an appointment for my exhaust on my Jeep GC. Took the Grand Cherokee to him and told him I wanted it to have a rumble and he told me that I should only do one side of my exhaust rather than both sides because it might get too loud when driving for more than a few minutes.Im soo happy I listened to him because I am happy with the job he did and how my Hemi sounds. I dont think I would have thought about the sound effect driving for hours.I literally asked a few other shops on prices to get my exhaust done and Shafers Auto saved me $200. Plus he helped me with my other vehicle that had a exhaust issue as well when I gave him my GC. Soo now I have both SUVs running better and sounding better because of him.I SAY THANK YOU. You can trust him to do right by you. And not charge you a arm and a leg for quality service.
