Taking the family to the lake for the weekend. Two hours from home and almost two hours from our destination. Had an unexpected tire issue. Went to two places before Smith’s. My husband went in a they offered to help immediately. I am sure they were full with appointments but took the time to help a family in need. I highly recommend them. Such great people. My husband took a half a vacation day today cause he was told on Monday to bring it in Thursday or Friday early the hours open 7:30 am to 5:30pm gmc truck sat in thier parking lot 7 hrs to be called 3pm 2 andHalf hours left before closing called my husband telling him that it cant be done today bad service DO NOT LET THEMTELL you a LIE! 7 hours 4 tires not put on why other than your places sucks!

This place was awesome they got me in and out very quickly had a valve stem leaking on my superduty I was 3hrs from home and had a flat on highway and was able to limp it into their shop and I was so happy to know they did reverse mount 20x12 wheels so happy with service I’d definitely recommend this place and use them again if I ever have tire trouble on the road way thank u smiths tires

A family member was traveling from Wisconsin to South Carolina when 2 tires blew out. They made it to a motel 6 in town and the next morning Smiths towed the car in, replaced two tires and they were on there way!! I was calling around from Wisconsin. Was quoted the price, said the tires would come in at 930 am and they did it all for a very reasonable quoted price. A minimal delay in there trip.

Friendly. Good Service. I went due to a flat tire. They repaired it. I had the option of staying. I waited for an hour. Place could use some sprucing up but they provided the need promptly. :) Would go back

Great Service ..Had a bad front end alignment on the 2005 Buick Lasabra. To me they kept the car over night ..as they were busy called the next morning ..Need 2 tires on Front end..And new tires done the fixing..I am so thankful for our Community Services..in this Berea town..many thanks. I was traveling from Tennessee to Ohio and my oil light was malfunctioning. I stopped in here and found quick honest service. They checked my car out and charged me nothing because they said it was fine. My oil level was accurate and its likely just a sensor that needs replaced. Im back on my way and I appreciate the integrity found in this shop.

Torque wrenches are apparently witchcraft and the grease prints inside and outside your vehicle come free of charge. If you want inexperienced careless techs and management thats clueless, this is your shop. “I’ve never broke one” in response to my disappointment seeing lug nuts hammered on with a 1/2” impact says it all. Thank god it was just a last minute tire mount. I’d love to see the results of any actual service that comes out of this place. As a shop owner I always try to support local, but I definitely can’t support this level of carelessness and ignorance. If the most basic of jobs aren’t getting done properly you can bet you’ll get great results on a real service.

I discovered a tire air valve leaking air before getting on the interstate heading back to Florida. I went to Smiths Tire and waited for them to open. They took my car right in and also discovered another issue needing immediate repair. They were very nice, polite, professionals and their prices cant be beat. If Im in Berea again and need service Ill go back to Smiths.

Pros> very cheap prices/ friendly folks.Cons> it should never take 2 freaking days (with a pre paid appointment) to get 4 tires mounted. This place is crazy slow every single time. They will call you and tell you its ready to be picked up at 5:30 and then when you get there they will be closed and you car wont have had new tires yet and the keys will still be inside their shop even though they called and said it was ready....I very rarely will tell People not to go to local companies but for real you should just go to Walmart to have your tires mounted or an oil change the higher price will be worth not having to lose you care for multiple days for something as simple as tires .

They are easy to work with, the prices are reasonable, and they do good work. I am new to the area, and so far, theyve did a great job on both my vehicles. I plan on continuing to have all my repairs, tires, brakes, and maintenance performed by them.

Brought car in for alignment. Were told they could take car right away. We were offered coffee, shown where the restrooms and waiting areas were. Mechanic let us in the bay to actually watch the process. Mechanic was great - answered all my husbands questions while he was working on the car. Process was quick and we were on our way in no time. Highly recommend Smith Tire Center. Well definitely be back.

I was told it was going cost about $600 to fix my car. Took it for a second opinion. $50 is what it cost. Do not go here unless you like getting ripped off. The positive views are either from family or people they are trying to get to trust them so they can the turn around and rip them off

Took our car in for some repairs. Not complaining about the price or work as of yet. Had just put new floor mats in the car, I was concerned about grease getting on them before taking it to them. I know accidence happen but when you work on vehicles all day long, you would think they would put paper mat on the floor mats to avoid this from happening. My floor mat is ruined. Never will take a vehicle back there ever again.

Awesome place!!! Very busy but people were kind. There was a second grade little boy (jr. employee most likely) that entertained us with his guitar!!! He made sure I saw his little hat for tips!!!! I never had a flat tire in the 37 years I have driven and they knew how to help and reasonably priced!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Oil Change will be next!!!

Purchased 2 Cooper Discovery here they beat Miller Tire by almost $100 bucks... Talk about feeling stupid for going to Miller Tire. Also they have a dirty cheap oil change but theres normally a wait for it.

So I break down on a motorcycle and had cash on me and he proceeded to laugh at me saying that they don’t do that out front there’s a sign that says Smith’s tire change not Smith’s Automotive tire change knowing he clearly has the know-how and the skills and the Equipment to do so.🤯🤬😡No only that he had a for sale sign about this time last year on his bike I proceed to ask him how much he wants for his bike he tells me that he’s not selling it?????🤔 with a for sale sign on it stand out front.I’ve had nothing but attitude and nothing ever gets done when I take it they’re given it’s been a couple years since I’ve had anything to do with the man,,but now I’m for sure never and I’m going to try to differ every single body I can from going thereBy the way I learned how to change the back tire on a motorcycle motorcycle now from YouTube in about 15 minutes yeah that easy

Rick Smith has taken care of me for the past 71/2 years that I have lived in Berea. He has always been kind, courteous, and upfront about the cost of repairs. I cant say enough positive things about this business! I highly recommend them!!

I took my truck there to get my tires a lined it took 15 mins and they where dont i watched them. They just set there and put my car up on talked when i got my truck back the steering wheel was up side down. I went down the road they said it will come back around better because i work on cars. Went down the road came back told them that it didnt go back they u will have to pay $80 more to get back up. The places is a joke dont got to them u will pay to much and u want get anything done right.

Its interesting reading some of the negative reviews. I have been coming to Smiths for 11 years since I moved to Berea. Not once in that time have I ever had a bad experience and I have had regular services, repairs and new tires. Are there less expensive auto shops? Probably but I prefer the service over expense. I think maybe I had one time when something didnt work right after a repair. Took it back in and it was remedied immediately. Good people.....and they wont cheat you.

They got my car running smoothly again in 3 hrs, then gave me a discount for paying cash. The only place I’ll go in Berea!

I am always always always impressed with Smiths! They are so quick and helpful when I come in. It sucks when something is wrong with your car, but they are so honest and accommodating they make the process much less painful. Their prices are pretty much unbeatable, and I have not one complaint about any of the work theyve completed on my car. Definitely the best in the Berea/Richmond area!

We were traveling and must have called 20 tire shops to find the tires we needed for our trailer. Nobody could help until we called Smiths. They were able to get the tires within one hour and get us back on the road. Best service anyone could ask for!

Got my car diagnosed, then had to call in and wanted to delay my appointment for another day. I got told that Ill have to pay for the diagnosis since I wasnt showing up that day. Nothing was mentioned about diagnostic prices before, during and after the diagnostic while we were at the shop. Utterly unacceptable. Go somewhere else if you want honesty and good business practices.

Passing through on my way back to Chicago my rear brakes locked up. Bought the parts across the street at Advance Auto and took them here to get installed. Needed to get a caliper for the rear Advance did not have. They said theyd find me one then charged me double for it even though they get a core charge return and didnt use all the parts that came with the caliper just the caliber itself with all my old parts. They knew they had me since I was traveling. The reason I give two stars instead of one is the gentleman who actually performed the work do a good job.

This place is a joke, I brought my car for exhaust work, instead of utilizing the right part they use one smaller than what my car had stock and in the process of working on my exhaust they broke the power steering retun line and half-ass fix is without letting me know about it. Will never do business again.

They fixed the issue with my car, but now its constantly clicking, and they refuse to fix it or even take responsibility. If you want the job done without issue then you should go elsewhere.

Slow to put tires on. Bought four brand new tires and had a blow out an hour later and he said it was our fault when there was clearly a bubble defect in the tire. Had to pay for a new one!
