It took them 2 weeks to only to register the car in RMV. Meanwhile, they kept lying to me about the timeline and never did that on time. They never apologize for their delay and causing my inconvenience. On one Thursday, they told me to deliver the car on Friday morning and I waited for the whole morning without seeing anything. After I contacted them, they said it was snowy since morning and would contact driver to do it. Then I waited like a fool for the whole day without notification.

I knew I wanted a 2020 Ioniq. So I shopped around to all the dealerships in a 200 mile radius. This dealership had a good rating and quoted me the best price, so I made the 2 hour jaunt from my home to go there.Havent had to go over the fine print for addons and extra charges in all previous car purchases, I cam ready to walk away or haggle.And I never had to. The deal they offered me was clean as a whistle, the price was cheaper than the quote and I left that day with the car I wanted. Later on it was discovered the DMV in NY had messed up a few things and the dealership even helped me get that squared away.I believe I dealt with Nicholas Lloyd. I cant recommend him or this dealership enough. Will absolutely make that long drive again, the next time we need a new car.

Don’t take a car there to get fixed took me almost a month to get it fixed and back. Didn’t even fix it right the first time I took it there and Never even called me to keep me informed on what was going on with it. I had to go through there other dealership just to get updates . Very bad service will never go there again.

When I was ready to buy my fourth Hyundai, I met Patrick Alvarez, of the Bennington Carbone sales staff. He was knowledgeable, professional, helpful, affable and able to answer all my questions about the new car. Without any sales pressure he helped me find the perfect vehicle for my needs.Over the last 60 years Ive met many automobile sales persons. Ive described Patrick as probably the best car salesman east of the Mississippi.Jeff Cameron, the business manager, did a superlative job of finding the right financing package for me. Carbone Hyundai of Bennington will be my exclusive dealership as long as I live in Vermont.Ken Pallman, the very knowledgeable assistant service manager has been extremely helpful through the years, helping me maintain my vehicles. He is attentive to service schedules and reminds me when necessary. As a result of his attentiveness, all preventative care is properly scheduled and Ive had no problems with the several cars.The technicians who perform the work seem to be well-trained as they consistently do good work.(Ive heard this from others too.) The person or persons responsible for hiring in these departments have assembled excellent teams to make for a superior automobile dealership.

I cant select 0 stars?What an awful experience. We made an appointment to see a truck and when we arrived, not only was nobody available to help us but nobody brought the truck around. Why did we make an appointment?Fast forward 2 hours and another truck and we found ourselves hunting down information on our missing salesman. He went to fuel the second truck and never came back because he was stuck at gas station with a dead truck. The manager on duty did not feel it necessary to share this information. We finally left with a guarantee that we would hear from someone. The good thing about waiting was that we decided not to recommend this dealership to families with young children because the language was unacceptable.Monday, we had to call, wait, call again.Finally we were assured we would be able to drive this truck.The following Friday we showed up only to find that nobody looked at the vehicle. A jump allowed us to test drive it (but not far - only $5 of gas in there). We were told that we showed up just when it was going in for service when, upon our return from the test drive, there were a lot of customers ahead of us so there was no way to estimate when it would be serviced.We left. Disappointed. My conclusion from this experience is that this dealership does not want to sell vehicles.

The staff is friendly (thanks Tim!), and so far, the used vehicle I purchased here lives up to expectation. Unfortunately, I had to remove two stars because they dragged their feet on paperwork. It took two months and numerous phone calls before they registered the vehicle per our agreement. The title only came after 4 months, also requiring prodding. Still a good vehicle for the price.

I called at 11AM on a Thursday to schedule an appointment to test drive and hopefully buy a truck. I received a call at 7:30PM that day to confirm my appointment. On Friday morning I drove 2 1/2 hours to the dealership. Upon my arrival I was told that the truck had sold at 2PM the day before. I asked to look at another truck listed in their inventory. That truck was not on the lot. A third truck I asked about was not there either. All three trucks are still listed in their inventory. I left and drove the 2 1/2 hours back home.

Ken and the crew turned a very bad situation into a very good one. Our 2011 Sonata quit on us on a Saturday night far from home in rural Mass. We had it towed to Carbone and are glad we did. Turned out to have an engine recall. They replaced the whole engine, courtesy of Hyundai, and now our car is running like new. Throughout the whole process Ken and his team were professional, easy to deal with, explained everything clearly, and were a pleasure to talk to. They even injected an appropriate sense of humor into the whole situation. Wed even consider driving long distance to have our car serviced here.

Zero stars. We had called to set up an appointment to test drive a truck, we were told that the truck was indeed still there and available. When we arrived the salesman sat down with us and told us that no one had any idea where the truck was... we had overheard a conversation between him and another sales person saying it should have been listed for at least $2,000 more. After sitting there for an hour trying to keep our one year old occupied while waiting for them to locate this truck we ended up with a response that they had no idea where it was. How does that happen? We left very disappointed. Out of a gut feeling we decided to look on the website to see if they had removed the listing, sure enough there it was on their site listed for $2,000 more than the price it was originally listed for when we had asked to see it. We drove an hour in hopes of buying a truck just to get screwed for no apparent reason. Will never go back.

While in Vermont on vacation we experienced a car problem on the day we were heading home. By the time the car was towed it was towards the end of business. We explained the problem and Ken and his staff were very accommodating and told us they would do their best to get us home the next day. Early the next morning they diagnosed the problem and fortunately the part was in stock. True to his word the car was done and we were able to get on the road. Everyone was professional while still very friendly. I highly recommend Carbone.

Stopped to inquire about buying a part to fix the car myself. Ken Pallman explained the procedure in general, from which I determined it might be beyond my skill level. Having made that determination and looking forward to a repair appointment, Ken offered that the shop could do it right now if I wanted. So, problem solved and I was on my way in a little over a half hour. Doesnt get any better than that!

I called 2 weeks ago about a truck listed for sale wanted me to come look at it that day, I asked if I could get some more pictures before driving the 4 hours, glad I asked as I received an email later that day that the truck had already been sold 2 day earlier. Well its still listed for sale and now at a reduced price..WOW...What gives? . I see Im not alone!

I recently purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra here. I spent a lot of time researching cars, comparing prices and features, and this place was in the top. I was interested in one particular car, but I live in Albany so I did not want to waste my time driving out if the car had something wrong with it (the previous dealership I visited had showed me a car that was heavily smoked in, for example). The salesman, Dylan, took the time to examine the car and was honest with me on the phone prior to my visit. Dylan made the car buying process comfortable and smooth. He was professional (not pushy) and gave us a very fair price for the car. I would definitely recommend this place.

How can company culture be so vastly different on the same lot?Dont waste your time on the Ford/Hyundai side. Unresponsive and unhelpful.Go straight to the Honda/Toyota side, where your phone calls will at least be returned.

I was in a very bad accident, trying to avoid a big deer with a huge rack. Instinct set in, and I avoided him. Unfortunately, I swiped the guardrails and totaled my Hyundai Sport 2T! Now I guess I’ll have to look for a pre-owned car! Thinking of something different .

Zero stars. They have terrible business practice. My boyfriend was trying to trade in his truck for a older truck for a smaller monthly payment and the financial people were supposed to be drawing up the paperwork so he could come after work and sign them but surprise they never drew the paperwork up and they sold the truck to someone else. We will never do business with them again and will be telling anyone I know looking for a new car to never set foot in there unless you want to get screwed.

Car inspection took too long and customer service was not existent. The man who helped us was rude and uninformative. We will not be returning under any circumstances.
