I was not overly satisfied with my recent experience at the Service Department at Bennington Honda. We traveled to the area for vacation and our CR-V’s engine overheated on the way up. I called on Monday afternoon and couldn’t get through to the Service Department. I got the answering service and was told I’d get a call back soon. I never received a call back. The next morning I was put on hold for 15 minutes by service, so I hung up and got the answering service. I did receive a call back right away from service apologetic that I was on hold for so long. They did get me in the next afternoon, which was one of the few positives of this experience. Once they looked at the car, they didn’t immediately find anything wrong and began guessing on what was wrong. They were wrong and suggested next steps to try, including one thing that didn’t make any sense (changing the thermostat) and checking the head gasket (super expensive and not something you just repair for the heck of it). We consulted with a family mechanic and pulled the car out the next morning because he agreed that they were guessing and not trying to actually diagnose the problem. We drove the car about an hour to the family mechanic the day we pulled it out and he properly diagnosed the problem (not anything Honda had suggested could even be wrong) and did the work for much cheaper. Based on the call from the Service Department, it was the head technician who was diagnosing what could be wrong with our car. He never even guessed the radiator could be the problem, which is what was the fix.

Came here after almost giving up hope finding and being approved for the suv I wanted. After having sales man walk away leave me in the cold waiting by a car for almost an hour because he couldn’t find the keys to come over and tell me it was now pending. But Russel was very polite and Happy to help and able to get me approved in a few short hours . Him and his coworkers were very nice and patient explaining the warranty and answering all of our questions. He also gathered all the paperwork for me so everything was pretty much all set when I got there. Need more happy to help people in the car buying world!

I worked with Jay and Jamie during my time car shopping. They were amazing and super helpful as this was my first time getting a car. I would refer others to them as they were patient and willing to take the time to make sure I got the right car for me.

Carbone is the worst place to buy a car, get a car fixed, unless you like to get the smoke and mirror show. The sales guy lied about leasing then buying it out right I paid 10000 more than i should have but somehow the paperwork disappeared. Then the Mechanics tried to up sell stuff to my wife. Such as cabin air filter never replaced (but paid for it) YouTube how to replace it and wow the factory plastic was still on the door. I would never bring my car to these people or buy from them again.

It is my pleasure to write a glowing review of my experience car shopping at Carbone Honda in Bennington, Vermont. Never have I felt more comfortable and found a dealership that was so forthright in their approach to educating and promoting their product while taking a genuine interest in the customer and meeting the customers needs. Contacting them first via email on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend, I received 3 informational emails, including a price quote within 18 hours. Arriving at the dealership, I was immediately greeted with a hands on demonstration of the cars features and a test ride. Service was warm and welcoming. Prices were top notch without hassling, and the sales people truly felt like family. Ask for Chris Hessler and you cant go wrong!

The people in the service department are very nice and very helpful. The work is done really fast and they even gave me a ride to work and picked me up.
