Lots of little misteps with this company when it comes to billing, pickups and communication. Never utilize the autopay system and good luck on getting someone helpful and polite on the phone when you call with questions. The drivers are nicer and more helpful than the phone customer service representatives.
We have always appreciated the excellent service for our business as well as our home. The drivers are extremely courteous and professional.
Once again I had to call them about the recycling bins tossed ON the sideWALK, tuning it into an obstacle course. This is a problem for parents pushing strollers and people in wheel chairs making this non compliant with the American Disabilities Act. They could be placed next to the sidewalk or the edge of the sidewalk. Not across.
Don from SSC was to deliver a dumpster for a roofing job. When the truck arrived, Don suggested we get a bigger dumpster for the job (same price as the smaller one). Don was so helpful and friendly and was back within an hour with the bigger dumpster. Don slid that huge dumpster within inches of where we wanted it. Wow!!Sanitary Services....give that man a raise..he is a good represenative for your company.
HORRIBLE service. Ive spoken to 3 of the ladies who answer the phone since Ive had the misfortune of dealing with this company. Erika is a treat, the older lady is ok, and the third young lady was horrendous! How she is allowed to deal with customers is beyond me. After reading some other post and speaking to one of the drivers, she seems to be the majority of the issues. If i could, I would never deal with this conpany again. Deal with them the least possible. And if you call and do not get 2 of the 3 I mentioned in my review either ask to speak to someone else, or just hang up and call back if you absolutely have to. Trust me youll save yourself a huge headache.

I get good service out here in the county. When I first ordered this trash pickup they delivered the trash & recycle bins that day so I can take advantage of the scheduled trash pickup the following day. They even dropped extra charges when I told them nobody told me it would be extra if the trash is over stuffed. And changed from weekly to monthly without issue when I didnt have as much trash. Their customer service has improved as I noticed people werent as happy in the past reviews.
Our street in Sudden Valley has been forgotten several times. And the young ladies on the phone there at the office are usually disrespectful. I think they havent been trained properly. The drivers are usually very friendly.
I was very frustrated with this company at first because I was getting billed something that I didnt feel was right. After calling a few times and people not giving me a straight answer, I finally got in contact with Carley Crook. Talk about customer service! She has been a huge help in navigating any questions I have, and now I love working with this company. Thanks to her, things have been a breeze!

Wow, just called SSC to find out when their trucks will be at my neighborhood due to the weather. The person who answered said just leave everything out and we will get there when we can. Then I asked her if their trucks have been out this week for service? Since I wanted to estimate in my head how far behind they are. She started repeating the same answer: just leave everything out and we will get there when we can. like I was talking to a computer! That was not good customer service. As a service company, SSC should have taken initiation to communicate with their customers via email/text about their plan of action under this weather circumstance, and put a short message on their phone line. This is an efficient way to handle the service expectation as well as alleviating the number of calls from customers and their employees handling calls in such frustration.
I have called at least three times to update my billing information for my current address. (This is separate from the vast issues Ive had with autopay, a very standard system that an operation of this size should be able to handle) SSC has contacted my landlord claiming that I have not had service since March, despite getting email confirmations for payments and despite the fact that my service literally wasnt stopped. This company threatened my living situation because od their own incompetence when I had fixed this issue at least three times.I dont know if this companys billing system is absolute garbage or if the representatives who take our information are so incompetent that this keeps happening.
Cant pay via card over the phone anymore but their system says my address validation failed. I have checked rechecked and checked again. It is correct and its the same as always. But I cant pay my bill. I keep having issues with their pay system and the acct system 8n general. My password wont work half the time and when I try to reset it theres always an error there as wellI live in city limits so Im required to have this service. Someone need sto fix their system so I can pay my bill. Id certainly rather go to the dump once a week than to use them it costs a ton less

Updated review, they are now offering a place for us to drop trash in Sudden Valley when they cant drive the routes out of an abundance of caution. Much better than just leaving us with trash building up or to take to RDS by ourselves.
Thanks to SSC drivers Jim and Christina in truck 17 for the professional and friendly service while picking up all my extra bulky yard waste. I recommend SSCs year-round FoodPlus program for collecting all food scraps, compostable papers and general yard waste plus their bulky yard waste collection service for those times when you have extra.

Awful customer service. They didnt pick up our recycling for a full month, didnt communicate with us about why they werent picking it up, then charged us full price for the month anyway, even though we eventually transported and dropped it off ourselves. We emailed and asked to be credited the appropriate amount and they didnt even respond. We called in and they blew us off, saying WE messed up the process by dropping it off ourselves. Refused to refund us for a service they never provided.
Went to dump garbage from my truck, was greated by an angry employee. It was my first time there and I guess I was supposed to check in first. Directions werent very clear on the way in. They wanted $60 for my little truck load. I confirm the crazy high price with another employee. Went to RDS on Slater and paid $13. This place is a rip-off!

The woman working at the front desk was not very friendly after handing her my debit card she made the phone call to run my debit card and stayed on the phone did not tell me have a good day thank you or your payment went through very rude customer service....And I was charged $25 to get rid of a door and a broken chair pricey if you ask me.

Miss pick up all the time and just say leave extra out next week so we have to have a huge pile of garbage laying in front of our yard for a week
