David is truly a one of a kind college counselor. He takes a unique approach to writing college essays and he was able to help lay the foundation for some of my best college essays. He really makes you think and constantly dig deeper into your mind to produce writing that is unique to you.The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is you have to be self motivated and retain your own schedule. David isnt going to baby you and constantly remind you and hamper you to get your work done. Youre going to need to take care of that yourself.As far as his college counseling services go, if you are self-motivated and responsible, David will bring out your best possible work, guaranteed.

If you ever need help with college applications, David is the man to go to!He is personable, flexible, and knowledgeable. I’ve worked with David on a few application essays two weeks out from my deadline and he has helped me produce great pieces.There were a few prompts where I had no idea what to write about, but David helped me find the perfect story to tell for each prompt. What seemed like casual conversation about my life and values actually helped me discover wonderful topics for my essays. We then wrote, edited, and read my paper about 100 times until I was satisfied.Most importantly, David’s sense of humor and professionalism is what makes me want to work with him.I highly recommend David and Big Brains Education to all high school student applying for college.

My kids worked well with David, while they were doing fine in classwork it helped them to have time to ask deeper questions and get more thorough explanations of concepts. Highly recommend David and his organization for helping not only struggling students but successful ones too as all of their schedules are so packed these days. We found David and the tutors he works with to be invaluable.

This place is fantastic! The best aspects of Big Brains are the flexibility of the instructors and their depth and breadth of knowledge. The instructors are routinely available after hours for things like emergency questions for exams/tests and for follow-up questions. People at Big Brains bend over backwards, and it shows in the high number of bright students who have sought supplementary help here to get As in school.

Big Brains Education was extremely helpful in my preparation for taking the SATs. Their in depth practice and attention helped me greatly improve my score. Their approach encourages you to practice daily until you know the test in and out, learning to avoid mistakes. David was also exceptionally instrumental in the writing of my college essays. I was greatly struggling with finding what to write my essays about but David was able to help me find my idea and formulate it into a stellar essay. His attention to detail and precision helped me improve my writing and learn a lot about myself. David is very fun and kind and it was an honor and joy to get to work with him. I highly recommend this institution for all your educational needs!

Big Brain has been a great help for my daughter who is in her IB program in Interlake High. Not only has she benefited in keeping pace with the rigors of the IB program but also the summer ACT camp has been helpful. Sarah has been a great help for my daughter, David has been thoughtful with his advice and Trish has been very prompt with scheduling support and test administration. David is an awesome person to work with. He has a special ability to know what you need exactly to be success on college application. From getting high SAT/ACT score, building excellent essays to finding out what colleges are best for you. He doesnt use existing package to apply your need. He creates a unique package specific for your need.David is also an great robotic mentor. My son spent a year with him on robotic challenge. He has learned a lot from him. He will take what he learned from him and carry it to college. We really appreciate what David has done for my son.The most impressive we got from David is he is super fast on everything. For example, we asked him for the teacher recommendation letter, then we got it on the next day. That is because he puts you and your things on the first priority.Highly recommend Big Brains Education for their academy needs.

David and the terrific tutors who work with him have greatly helped my son with his homework.These tutors are highly committed and are very knowledgeable in the subjects that my son needed.They went above and beyond what was expected to help my son improve his grades.

I love to see my son energized after math tutoring at BigBrains. He is learning something new every single time. They tested him and started at his level. We will return for English writing sessions, and other languages.Also, my son has tried robatics classes and loved it.

Big brain help my daughter prepared for her cogat test. She did very well in the test. I couldn’t be more happier.

*** Stay away from Big Brains ***My son just took their space elevator summer camp, and the experience was really TERRIBLY AWFUL.1) David was really mean, and the most commonly used words to the kids questions was NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.2) They host summer camps just to get free (actually were paying them a lot) assistants to help on their competition projects. David cares about their core competition team only (look like high school students), and just uses the camp boys as free labor. When my son offered his help on programming the robots and emphasized hes got lego EV3 programming experience, he was rejected again with a NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. My son felt he was there just as a lowest level labor on dirty work.3) On the last day of the camp, the team went to the museum of flight for the space elevation competition. David told us to arrive on 9am, but he himself came in on 9:40am, which is a unbelievably 40 minute late, and he never said anything not even a sorry word. Then when the competition event was over, David went away immediately, and never cared about whether there are parents there to pick up the kids.4) The awards of the space elevator competition includes a gift card and a small honor sculpture. David took them away from the kids almost by force.This was the worst summer camp weve ever participated, and well keep away from them forever. Make your own judgement before getting tangled!!!
