Looking through these reviews I am deeply saddened by such the negative connotation and know by reading at least one of these reviews, it airs to the side of being terribly False because I was there at the same time and did not experience any of the accusations stated. I think people also need to understand that this facility was created for people who are mentally unstable and have all sorts of different psychological issues that can greatly cloud their judgments of the reality of this place. When I came in I was lost and ready to die. So depressed, anxious and strung out that my existence at that point was a sheer miracle. The staff warmly welcomed me in as one of their family and taught me more about what was behind my mental health. Group therapy and groups as a whole were very helpful and aided to my needs which were heavy at the time. I have faith in humanity again and I’m myself again because of the warm hearts of the recovery specialists and the counselor that I had at the time, Sara. They set me on the right track and helped me attain faith again: the facility, contrary to what I’ve read here, was never not clean, and as far as feces everywhere, mold, mildew? I did not experience a one while there. I had tried so many places to get better. Hospitals, facilities, rehab, just to name a few and it never worked. The excellent psychiatrist Dr. Lim made sure that I got on the medications that truly made me think clearer and happier than I ever had been in my adult life as well as made sure that any medication reactions were not possible. Everyone has their own perceptions and experiences of a place, but you need to make sure that blaming everyone else for where their life is at that point isn’t what’s happening. I owe telecare more than I will ever be able to repay!!!

I have found this facility to be exceptionally caring to residents receiving services. There is a focus on the strengths of the individual and helping the individual reclaim hope for their future. The staff appears to work to ensure that clients served are provided opportunities to grow in their personal independence and learn how to effectively live with severe and persistent mental illnesses. I would recommend this facility to loved ones that needed mental health services at a secure residential facility.

I am a client of Telecare and I must say its is A filthy enviroment, staff is not in any way compassionately caring for myself and my needs.Although Nursing staff has given me my medications as needed they have given minimal care for my physical ailments.I as well as my Husband Have contacted Dhhs,Nebraska Advocacy, It has traumatized me e en further. I feel deep empathy for those with more substantial needs. There was no Therapy,Group therapy is not of very little sustenance. Feelings of regret and and Empathy for my peers. Something should be done.Black mold, mildew, human feces,in bedded in carpets, unhealthy food.etc...

Have to give this place one star because it is required, otherwise there would be NO stars. I have never seen staff so UNENTHUSED - LAZY - AND UNCARING ABOUT THE CLIENTS(PATIENTS) in my 24 years of dealing with MANY Mental Health facilities in Nebraska a and Colorado. Sarah, the Clinical Director, showed NO empathy for clients, had no intention of asking the clients to follow the rules, because as she said, they have good days and bad so there are NO expectations of the clients. They get coloring books and nasty RAP music to listen to, which is negative (something the clients do NOT need is negative, nasty language music) She has taken 2 months now to determine if a cat can be transported into the clients bedroom for an hour long visit; in case someone is allergic. However, the staff can bring their dogs into the facility without checking with the patients to see if they are allergic. She and the other staff I have spoken with are biased against some clients and do NOT treat them equally. Not sure who runs this place, be it privately run or governmentally run, but I will find out and voice my complaints against the alleged help clients are supposed to be getting there. WITH MY TAX DOLLARS!..... Its PATHETIC
