Owner/Operator is a really nice guy, and really loves what he does. I was in and out, and left knowing exactly what I needed to do to get my computer back up and running. They offer a Under 15 minutes and its free promise that keeps simple fixes/diagnostics extremely affordable, if not completely free. Our office needed an SQL update to operate our medical records software and we google searched IT specialist in Bellevue. Luckily we were able to find AME Computers. Tony made several trips to our office to upgrade our old computer and manage the updating of our software. When we needed a new server computer Tony ordered one for us (then called us to tell us he found it for $100 cheaper) installed the computer and made sure it was functioning properly before he turned us loose. Tony is a professional, hes honest and very much an asset to the Bellevue community. We appreciate your help and getting us all squared away, allowing us to operate more efficiently.

I have a 10-year old HP Pavilion g7 laptop computer that needed a new CPU fan. Instead of buying a new computer, I had AME Computers install a new CPU fan, upgrade my OS from WIN7 to WIN10 and I upgraded my old 540GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to a 1TB Solid State Drive (SDD). My laptop works great, boots up in less than one-minute instead of six-minutes and hasnt missed a beat. Id recommend AME Computers in a heartbeat. Great people, excellent service!

By far the best price and service Ive received. My laptop keyboard wasnt working properly and the camera was no longer registering to my system. Other services estimated 150-200 for repairs. This is the BEST place ever! I highly recommend AME Computers! I have been a customer since 2014. I use AME Computers for both business and home. Great place, honest trust worthy and very nice! My laptop would constantly loose internet connection and I couldnt figure it why, and I kept getting messages. I have never taken my computer anywhere for some one to fix it so I was a little nervous about who I took it, after reading all the reviews here I choose AME Computers, I felt that they were the most trustworthy. I did see some other reviews where people where whining about the free service that they received ..Free and you still complain unbelievable! Any way.. when I came in I was greeted by Tony very nice guy..I explained my problem to him, and I told him that I needed my laptop for school as it was the only computer that I had all my homework on it. I was literally in tears when I came in and he assured home that they would be able fix my computer and sure enough that very same day he called and said the computer was done. The price was very affordable and my computer is better than when it was new, Thank you... I will definitely recommend!!!

Naturally, I was struck with a variety of issues on my laptop throughout this past year while at college, most likely due to my VERY limited knowledge of computers. My Surface Book died and I found out from Best Buy they cant work on it and then Microsoft told me they dont repair them, they either replace or you are out of luck. This might not seem like a bad deal unless you have data on the computer that isnt located anywhere else and you want that data. Tony came to the rescue and helped me recover all my data within an hour or two. He is a miracle worker.Also coming into the shop is very comfortable, casual. Tony sent me regular texts letting me know what was happening. It really was super good service, I recommend AME over any other option in Bellevue or Omaha.Tonight I went and bought a Dell from Nebraska Furniture Mart and turned down their service plan. I dont need one because I have AME.

I brought my computer in because the motherboard caught fire. Tony was very kind and helpful through the whole process. I took this as an opportunity to get some upgrades for my rig and tony was very knowledgeable about what would be compatible and what was new on the market that would cater to what I need without costing too much. During the whole process of waiting for the parts to come in and putting it together, Tony was very consistent on giving me updates as to what was going on with my rig via telephone.Best part: labor fees were incredibly and graciously low. 10/10 recommended and will be back if any I have issues with any of my electronics.

I have only done a handful of reviews before but I am so frustrated with this *business*. Back in April my boyfriend dropped off his laptop to be fixed, they said they would open it up and try to figure it out. (The screen blinked on and off) We called them repeatedly trying to get updates on the laptop, since they never called us. It was always one thing after another. Need to order this part and that part, need the money now so we can order the stuff to fix it. (Which was paid) We were repeatedly told it would be ready in a few hours (so we could pick it up that day, they just had to put it together), to a couple days, to a week. We live an hour and a half away, and came to pick up the laptop at least five or more times. One minute, it was yes come get it, just let me put it together first, give me a couple hours, so we would find something to do in the meantime, only to be told they didnt get it done. So then it was, we will finish it then mail it to you..... Back and forth like this for almost 4 MONTHS!!!!! I would not suggest this place. To be fair, I think they did refund all the money we spent on it. But still, the run around, no communication, saying it will be ready and never was, went and picked it up today and still had to wait almost an hour, because it still wasnt put together..... If you choose this place I hope they do better for you.

As a single mom of two, penny pinching is a necessity! Hence, the reason I sat on an HP pavilion for 3yrs, let it collect dust, and was literally going to throw it in the dumpster after something got spilled on it (it failed to function properly after that) because I was thinking it was too expensive to repair. Boy was I WRONG! I would have trashed an $800 laptop but Im glad I went to them. $50 later I find out it was only my keyboard! These guys are impressive! The workmanship, service, prices, and down to earth type of man he is (the owner), makes this one of my best money well spent stories! The MAIN THING ALL SHOULD KNOW is they ARE NOT AFTER YOUR MONEY!! The owner wont steer ya wrong, and if he thinks youll be losing out for what ever reason, hell tell ya!! In fact, I was so impressed with their work they did on my laptop, I brought in an old HTC Vivid with a bad charging port and within days it was fixed and running normally again!! This guy not only knows what hes doing but he knows how to run a business and run it well he does! Its worth a shot to dig out those dusty electronics youve shoved in the junk drawer and see what hes got to say! You wont be upset or let down. I promise!

I was in the process of making a custom build computer when I kept running into a variety of different issues over a three day period. Finally having enough of troubleshooting the computer myself, I took it in to Tony at AME. They managed to troubleshoot it, and isolate the issue within a day giving me a call as soon as it was done! They did a fantastic job and I more than recommend anyone who has issues with their computer to use this service. They really care about their customers! I took my Laptop in to get the DC jack repaired, this is something i normally can do my self, but due to the complexities of this notebook I decided to take it in. I am a complete computer nerd, so taking my computer to a shop is like a mechanic going to jiffy lube to get his oil changed. I must say, I am not disappointed at all. They only did the repair I asked them to do, and they cleaned up my computer so it was nice a pretty when I got back.The owner is friendly and if I ever have to swallow my pride again, I will take it here.

My computer kept locking up and eventually would not turn on again. I thought it was dead and all my information was lost. Tony was able to help me out at an extremely fair price and had my computer back to me within a couple days. AMEs service is outstanding and I highly recommend them!!

I bought all the parts to build my own computer..... when they arrived, I realized I hadnt built my own computer since around 98-99. Arrived at AME Computers with 3 boxes of parts and they put it all together in the empty case and set it up properly. (including the liquid cooling unit for the CPU/etc). Ended up getting charged a little less than the original estimate. Would definitely do business with them again.

I would add a few more stars if I could. I have been going to AME computers for a couple of years now. We have several laptops and a desktop in our home. Tony is great guy who is very knowledgeable and has an amazing staff. He has been able to remove annoying viruses, help our computers run faster, replace keyboards and has always given superb customer service. I teach college online from my home computer and this little box is my only means “of going to work” and this morning while attempting to clean my PC I accidently pulled out three of the ribbon connections. Really bad and there was nothing I could do to get these back together. The first place I went said they could fix it but not today… I have to be on here today and tomorrow and over the weekend for my students so that was not going to work. It was over 10 years old so I wasn’t surprised. Tony offered me a refurbished computer which I was really hesitant to buy because, let’s face it, in this day and age it’s hard to trust anyone. However, considering the good reviews Tony has gotten (and my current financial status) I decided to make the purchase and am VERY happy with it. The refurbished computer is quiet, clean, and runs great, not to mention it weighs a lot lighter than my old one.🙂. Tony even waived my diagnostic fee and gave me a discount on my data transfer. It has been a while, as I have not had a lot of computer time, due to health issues. I would completely trust them with any computers, including my new laptop They are very friendly and do not talk down to people like myself who are not very computer literate.

They did a great job fixing the DC power port on my laptop. They were upfront about the difficulties they might encounter if the damage was worse than it appeared. In the end, it was fixed for half of what they quoted me. They even cleaned the screen and keyboard before giving it back. Excellent company.

Horrible experience!!! Very unorganized and horrible communication with the customer. AME had a couple laptops of ours, a tablet, and my sons iPhone 5c. When we dropped off the equipment Tony said they would have them diagnosed within a few days.. NO not even close it took almost 2 months to get our electronics back. They were not able to fix the tablet, the iPhone 5c either. In fact the iPhone 5c works worse now since getting it back from them. I dont think there is a whole lot of knowledge by the technician attempting the fix they just swap parts hoping to find the fix that way. One laptop worked for a short time after getting it back and just got the second laptop back today. Hopefully this one works for more than a week but I doubt it. Stay away from this place, find a place that has knowledge of the electronics rather than just parts changers. Oh and make sure you are on time to pick up your electronics or you will accumulate storage fees of 10 dollars a day. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE STAY AWAY

Took computer in to have a CD drive put in last fall. Computer came back with issues that were never experienced. Brought computer back to have it fixed. When computer was returned, documents, photos, files were missing. Computer was returned again in an attempt recover lost data. Data was never recovered.

Several months ago I took in a busted ipod screen of my sons. Tony fixed it quickly and perfectly. It also had a locked system from the previous owner and he reset that as well. Highly recommend. Fair prices.

I have been using this company for almost 2 years now.I went to another place originally because suddenly my 3 year laptop wouldnt give me any access--unit powered up, but I couldnt use the mouse or touchpad to access anything.So--took it to another place--they wanted $100 just to take the back off & total of $300 to actually open it up & work on finding the problem.Was told my hard drive was probably going out & I would probably need a new one.So---went to AME & Tony took the back off ---it was in a small corner of the back---took less than 10 seconds for him to see that 2 of the screws holding the hard drive in place had fallen out!!!!He has a bowl with all sorts of different screw sizes --he found 2 screws & put them in--hard drive didnt move anymore!!!He only charged me a VERY minimal fee for this. I have since gone back 3-4 times--needed dvd player activated, needed ad blocking added & needed total reboot because had some BAD people try to get into my laptop.All costs have been very reasonable & laptop has been returned within 1 week.I have to drive to this location from 48 & Dodge in Omaha--it is a fair distance for me---but I know I DONT have to worry about getting ripped off.

Tony listened to my issue, (needed a 4gb ram card for a Dell) told me what he needed, promised to call back if he had the card, he did and he did. Not many of my current service providers will even call me when they are done doing the repairs on our vehicles, or other items. Go with Tony, just remember to remind him what you wanted done. He has a lot going on in his shop!!

So glad I found AME there honest and very affordable, I called around Bellevue and talk with another place that was by Bellevue West, Dont go there!! you will regret it. Tony was super nice and he did not talk above me. My computer would not turn on, Tony and his staff diagnosed the issue and 60 buck later...yes 60 bucks later it was fixed I was so happy!! I thought fore sure I would have to buy another computer. Its nice to know that a local business is this honest, I know for sure I would have to pay more anywhere else. Im a tech guy so Ive never had my devices serviced here but I did meet Tony the first day he opened his doors. I asked on the off chance if he had a Cisco crossover cable. He said he just threw out a whole box because he didnt have a use for them. Bummed, I headed for the door. He jumped up, said lets go check to see if one fell out in his car, and behold - one fell in his backseat. Gave it to me for no charge. Small gesture but left a big impression.

Took my tablet in because it wouldnt charge. After 2 or 3 weeks, I called twice within the next two weeks and left a message both times (because they didnt answer their phone, either), and it had already been several weeks since I took it in. They never returned my call. Went in person, and they spent a lot of time trying to find the tablet, then said they hadnt been able to fix it. I decided to try ordering a new charger and adaptor online, and lo and behold, it works! HOWEVER, they somehow damaged the screen while it was there, because it now has a LARGE area of the screen that is brighter than the rest - like a big blob on the bottom corner. Take your electronics here at your own risk. :(

After getting three things fixed they all came back hardly fixed, replaced screen broke and took about 3 weeks to get fixed, two computers one got viruses back days after we got it and the other just works poorly. I was extremely disappointed and I had a phone that was to get fixed and I have hear nothing about it in months. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

In a 3 year period I have purchased 2 used computers from AME computers. Recently I thought I had a problem with my computer but wasnt sure if it was the computer or something else. I called numerous times to which no one answered the phone. Then I left messages to which I got no response. I then sent an email and a letter via UPS. This was about a month ago. I have never gotten a response from any of this. I guess he has so much new business that he doesnt need to take care of his established customers.

I called bc my computer had a warning and prompt me to call a 888 number and i did and representative told me it was going to be $300.00 to fix. So i called AME computers and they got me taken care of and didnt have to pay them $300.00 very nice place good price and they dont take advantage of you.

I tried to get my computer, an Ipad and a Bluetooth speaker fixed by this business. The computer was the priority. I had dropped the Ipad and speaker off in May and Tony said he would try but was unsure if he could fix them. Every time I called it was one excuse after another about how they had not gotten around to looking at them. I wasnt terribly concerned about them, so I really overlooked the excuses at the time, and when my laptop died, I took it to him because he seemed very nice and had fixed a minor issue with it one time prior. However, after 2 months went by with my laptop I was very frustrated. I told him I would come retrieve it so I could take it somewhere else to get it fixed. It was apparent he hadnt even ordered the part for it. He convinced me to give him one more week to order the part and get it installed and he wanted to do right by me. I gave him another chance. When the new mother board arrived, it didnt work. I advised him I would pick up my computer unfixed and that my one of my biggest concerns was his total lack of communication with me during the whole process. When I arrived to pick up my computer, he had lost the brand new power cord I had dropped off with my computer. I was not happy, but left. I took my computer the next day to Special Touch Computer Repair. Guess what?? It wasnt even the mother board that was the problem. Not sure what Tony was doing this whole time, but Robert at Special Touch contacted me back in hours and fixed my computer in a day. Guess which one Im recommending? Oh...and the Ipad and speaker that he had that he had for 5 months never got fixed either.

This place rocks!! Hes honest and provides great service! Id never go anywhere else!!

Aug 4, 2018 1:30pm - Tony has agreed to pay price of broken lapotp today.I spoke with Tony yesterday. He has agreed to reimburse the $116 that was paid for the laptop a month before dropping it off at his shop.It is unfortunate having this draw out for I believe 3 months being that I dropped it off in May, have come in at least 4 times to between dropping it off, too discuss the damages, and then too pick it up in this condition just to have to go online to review in order to even get some accountability...go back in when Tony called just to have him haggle with me on how they can go about the repairs.When he finally agreed to pay for the cost after reviews are updates he said hed also be keeping the damaged orignial. Meanwhile Ill be without while ordering another. Its a $100 laptop BRAND NEW. Its always been about the principle and I would think Tony would want to go above and beyond to actually provide the CONVENIENCE I originally brought it to him to receive AND possibly even retain a custom; while growing business by word of mouth advertising, and a 5 star rating. Im am however greatful for him doing what he can to make it right. Tony I do appreciate you and will be seeing you this afternoon.My laptop was LITERALLY brand new, had been used maybe a handful of times, still had the stickers on it, instruction manual, and he even commented on how new it appeared. He seemed eager to help and perplexed as to what could already need repaired. I explained the simple reset needing done.While they did manage to redownload Windows 10 and its no longer in a loop; the sound is no longer working, housing is slightly apart on one side, there are 3 different styles of screws under holding it together, 2 are completely stripped out, the touch screen nor tablet mode work, it will not power down, AND THE SCREEN HAD LITTLE CHIPS IN IT AS THOUGH SOMETHING SKIDDED ACROSS IT. He was adamant hes got an S on his chest and knows  what his employees do and do not do, drop, replace screws in, play with for their own amusement, etc. AT ALL TIMES. Yeah..because thats so what I saw the day before when I picked it up and the other two times Id been there to discuss the laptop. Right..well go with that..I STRONGLY recommend to create a checklist to complete with him at the initial drop off and again upon taking back possession.

Im older and had just received my first laptop ever. Yes, ever. I just started back work this year after being a housewife for the last 9 years. My laptop arrived new and loaded with windows 8. Needless to say I was already technology challenged, and now had an operating system that was absolutely horrible. During my frustration with my laptop, I broke it (only having it for 10 days). I was having an extremely bad day as it was and now my laptop was broke. I went into AME computers crying and looking absolutely distraught. Tony was working at the front desk upon my arrival. Tony so kindly reached his hand out to mine and said it will be ok mam, its just a laptop. He was so kind and graceful under the circumstances. Not only did they fix my computer but, Tony helped me by installing windows 7 (much more user friendly). Thanks to Tony I am now up and running and catching up with technology. I couldnt have done it without him. Also, Tony price matched what I had already paid for the laptop and did not charge above that price. After weeks of my boyfriend waiting for a call back about his phone, he had to go in and pick the phone up with it still not working, not to mention he fixed two computers only for them to still be glitchy then blamed my boyfriend for not bringing them back to get them re-fixed when they should’ve been fixed the first time around. First impressions count and this was extremely disappointing.

After washing my iphone in the washer, (bad mistake), I had gone online and tried most of the reviving tips, cant say which on worked, but he iphone finally woke up, but I was left with a damaged LCD screen. Called AME and scheduled an appt, and they had a new screen installed with 45 of my arrival. Sceen warrantied as long as I own the phone. Really nice extremely knowlegeable guys to do business with. Recommended for repairs in Omaha area.
