My wife and I made a reservation for an SUV to take on a long road trip. When received the car the agent seemed very busy, simply pulled the car up without mask, gloves or any personal protective equipment despite the ongoing pandemic. To make things worse, the vehicle came with the “Hertz Gold Standard Clean Seal,” yet the vehicle had dirt & large crumbs scattered through the trunk when the seats were folded down to load our luggage. On top of that, the center counsel storage unit was gross, it was sticky and had used utensils inside. THIS WAS CLEARLY NOT A CLEANED VEHICLE, and if this is the “Hertz Gold Standard of Clean,” I’d hate to see what the Hertz definition of a dirty vehicle looks like!!To make things even better, in his rush our agent simply gave us the keys without inspecting the vehicle with us. The vehicle did not come with a full tank of gas as documented on the pick-up slip, it is missing cooling vents, has many scratches on the paint, has a large chip in the windshield & is missing parts of the roof rack on both sides.The best part is that we are already on our trip and we can’t get in touch with Hertz to discuss our issues! The “Gold Standard” seems more like an Old Standard!Oh and adding to this. We are two hours into driving the car and the “change oil soon” comes on. Meanwhile we still have six days with the car.
I was on hold for over an hour collectively. The first time I called I was told to hold, I did that and 30 mins had went by so I called back out of fear that I had been forgotten. I called again and I was told to hold, I told the representative I had already been holding for over 30 mins and he said there was nothing he could do because he had other calls. I stayed on hold again for 15 mins, this time I was hung up on. I called again for the third time and explained how I was hung up on and the representative said it was only them working and that on their end I’ve been on mute and hold soooo they didnt know what to tell me. I said that fine it’s just I have been waiting for a really long time already and again they said there was nothing they could do. So I waited yet again, and then time I realized it was well past their 5 pm close time, I had been waiting on hold for 20 minutes this time and decided to hang up and try again in hopes I could reach someone. This time I was forward to an automated voice message that was no use for me and what I needed help with. Thanks Hertz.
I needed a car for a long distance trip, but due to the extremely high demand for cars, I was only able to afford to reserve a cargo van.Once I arrived to the office to pick up the van I asked Karen, the manager if I could somehow get a car instead of a van. She was able to give me a Corolla for a reasonable price. Just the savings on gas paid for the difference.
I regretted getting a car from hertz. It was an awful experience during vehicle pickup. We were not delivered the car we had a confirmed booking for and had to take a minivan instead which was in horrible condition. Company had no courtsey to inform me about this in advance.Staff was unproffesional and rude.I have always had excellent experiences with other car rental companies. Never going to use Hertz again for sure.

Although the location is in a rather weird location, the worker was super helpful and kind. Smooth retrieval of car from Bellevue and dropped of at Sea Tac.
* Arrived 20 mins early for the appt.* Valid reservation/credit card/DL available still simply denied to provide a car for rental stating no cars available but there were at least 5 others waiting behind me to rent. This is after staff had started entering the information from a available car key in front of me.* Understaffed So be ready to wait and allow plenty of extra time if you don’t want to jeopardize your plans* what irritates me most is I had everything in order and had to wait for almost 50 mins to get my rental denied for no valid reason. Family/kids everyone was waited outside all this happened. Had to change plans for rest of the day because of this fiasco* While I was waiting in line I noticed few customer frustrations with their rentals*Definitely wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone, save yourself some headache*I usually don’t write reviews but I had to because of such a bad experience and to warn others
Prepaid for a cargo van but when I show up I’m told sorry we don’t have any van or any other rentals. No notifications at all. After cross country travel and a Lyft ride out here and I m sent packing. Told there was nothing they could do for me. Never again Hertz will I do any business with you.
Poor conditioned car, dead battery, forever busy road assistance hot line, we paid the jump start by ourselves and no car for using in the whole weekend due to the battery problem. Hertz did nothing to solve the problem and even didn’t admit the dead battery problem.
Karen is really helpful and super friendly! She provided awesome customer service. When the car we wanted was at a different location, she went to grab it and cleaned it thoroughly. Really appreciate this Hertz location, especially Karen!

I asked for all wheel drive car. I booked through Expedia and the gentleman at the desk said we don’t know if it’s all wheel or not until we pull the car. They offered me to pay $10 extra for the all wheel drive car and I agreed to it. I insisted on getting all wheel and finally they pulled the car and didn’t even check if it was all wheel drive and handed the key. Irresponsible staff and narrow location where you can’t park your car for 2 hours.
Absolute worst service I have ever received. Counter agents had me calling a call center because theyre too incompetent. The car had warning lights going off as soon as I rented it. This single experience is making me want to never rent a car from anyone ever again. Dont go here.
I rented a premium car online, and they charged me for it. When I received the car, they gave me a Buick Encore and it was horrible. I am a Gold Plus member and still got charged for additional driver. I called the customer support and they confirmed I got a compact car, and suggested to talk to location for a refund. Regarding the additional driver they said it is free only for spouse.I returned back and did some research on their website, and here are the facts.Hertz official website Home page: Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® members enjoy special benefits with the #1 car rental loyalty program†. Members can skip the counter, pick any car and go with Hertz Ultimate Choice® and add a free Additional Driver.Again, the same website says: Premium is Class G and Buick Encore is B.Such a shame, and total rip-off.
Was told by staff I would be receiving extra driver at no extra charge due to AAA discount, staff did not properly apply discount and I had to pay extra $200. Horrible customer service and incompetent staff means your shouldnt rent a car from these folks. BEWARE!! they could care less about fixing your problem. STAY AWAY!!
Not sure what scam this facility is trying to run. I picked up a Silverado headed to a funeral and there was marijuana deposits left in the drivers seat, which was my mistake and should have taken pictures, but was in a hurry. They are now charging me for a smoking fee, which was probably accrued through their employees negligence. I do not smoke nor have I ever smoked in my life. Be cautious, because they are making the customers pay for their employees negligence!!! My attorney will be in contact with this facility to ensure that no customer will endure negligence fees made by the manager of the branch. And that there is an adequate team representing Hertz professionally!
Rent your car here if you want to save money when visiting Seattle. It’s a smaller facility, but the price was worth it. Karen did an amazing job handling customers and getting us our car quickly, and also made us laugh and was very upbeat. We even upgraded for free. Highly recommend!
Do not go here! Supposedly I smoked inside of the 1/2 tank (seat stained) car that I was given on a limited choice of cars. They knew this because the have photographs of me smoking inside of the car which they would email me (they didnt). When I asked corporate about this, they could neither confirm or deny about being recorded inside of the vehicles. I was charged $300 for an additional outside cleaning fee. Now they might not have the photographs because they delete them after about 2 weeks, Karen would call me back to let me know, I asked to call back and please let me know either way. Guess what?... No call back of course. Corporate didnt seem to have any knowledge of photos so this might be a location based event. After so much back and forth I have contacted the Attorney General, my CC fraud dept., and now here to warn you. At this point I would just like the photographs to take this to take this to an attorney over being recorded without consent given on the agreement or posted anywhere else. So if they come at you with this, GET THE PICTURES!
Somewhat non-visible hertz store that took me a while to find, on top of the road constructions. Fairly quick service, however. Store is kept clean and tidy, just like every self-respecting establishment. 2 stars because of the frustration I experienced while finding this location. Upgraded 1 star, however, for quick service.
Great cars and great service. This place is worth the drive from the airport. You will find a better price here than the airport because of their taxes. (Be prepped to have a credit card, you can change it to your debit at the end but must hold it on a credit card). Nick was great and went above and beyond for us! Brian was also nice. This place is well managed, great cars and great prices!
I was here on Saturday February 15th and the power was out. My reservation was messed up and Kristie was swamped with people. She kept her cool and was incredibly helpful under tough circumstances. Especially since I messed up my reservation further because it wasnt made under my Gold account. She went above and beyond. So amazingly helpful.

I have been long time customer for Hertz and I am really pleased with customer support provided by BRIAN at this location. He is great guy and one of the best employee working with Hertz. I highly recommend his service at this location.
Ive been to this rental facility a few times now mostly due to convenience from my home and workplace. Everyone here is so helpful and really caters to the customer. They will arrange to pick you up if needed and their drop off arrangements are good. Sure, Ive been on hold a few times and once had my call dropped. Sometimes, there is only one person working as well as the customary sales pitch given to me about insurance options with rental. But overall... they are great. Smaller site with less cars, but their service is exceptional. Patience and understanding go a long way!
Small, but convenient Hertz location. Its collocated with Bel-Red Storage. Staff is very helpful and generally speedy. If this place offered better weekend hours and gold/five star service, Itd get a fifth star.
This place is so slow! There are 3 customers in the queue on a Saturday morning and it took them 25 mins to process 1 customer.
Very helpful team! good customer service!We had not driven a Volkswagen before and the car controls looked odd and different. The agents were patient enough to explain the tricky levers and buttons!as we started off, we realized that the window had a chip which we did not notice in the initial inspection. They did not make us drive back 10+ miles to report and noted this via phone!charges were clearly explained! quite happy being a gold member and will continue to rent from here (as long as prices are good ;))

This location is one of the most inflexible Hertz location that I have rented a car from. They claim to be too busy to give a ride outside of Bellevue or if pickup is not before 3 PM! I have had other Hertz and car rentals giving rides in Redmond/Redmond downtown areas. Lady at the pickup counter wanted me to be exact at pickup time without even leaway of 30 minutes either direction!Also cars dont have to have full tank in this location making it super hard to return at exactly. Overall this is the worst car rental experience I have had.

The manager of this place has the worst attitude and customer service. We are actually Hertz premier customers but this time it’s covered by insurance at liability. The ford hybrid he gave me had 39k mileage on it. Within a week the window has malfunction that it couldn’t close. I called but never got answered. I drove there after work and realized there was also a low tire pressure. The manager shows no empathy to my bad experience. He simply said they ran out of car, and asked me to come back tomorrow for change. Also asked me to fix the tire pressure otherwise charge me $150 for it. I said it’s not reasonable that for a 39k mileage car you put me responsible for tire issues. He said “I think it’s reasonable” . I went to air the tire and the person at the shop told me the tire should have been replaced as it’s worn out already. I made my way back before they closed. Bryan took over my case and apologized for my experience. He did a much better job taking care of my issue. I wouldn’t complain if it had been Bryan in the first place. The manager didn’t appologize the whole time and blamed me for tire issue. He also lied to me as there were actually cars available that day. I would have given 1 star and file a formal complaint if the whole time it’s the manager handling my case. I would replace the manager if I were Hertz. Customer service is about having the empathy for your customers and solving their problems. Not just some NPS metrics on whiteboard.

I am so sick of this place. THEY ARE AWFUL!!! I call....they are too busy have to call me back. DONT CALL BACK. I call again...they are busy have to call me back, um no, Ill call YOU back. Call again...finally actually talk to someone and they say they are going to take care of the charges that were authorized on my credit card. (This was an insurance rental) So I call today to get it taken care of and he wants to call me back. I ask if they ever assist callers on teh phone. His response is....Do you realize today is the Friday before a holiday weekend?? I said whatever, you guys have HORRIBLE customer service and said I would call the main Hertz. HE WAS THE RUDEST PERSON IVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!!!!!

My pick was at 10 am. I was running late and when I called them at around 10:22am they said they do not have car even though already paid full amount in advance. They redirected me to different store where customer service was pathetic.
Good customer service, provide multiple choice for me and allow me to exchange the car when I do not like it.
What can be said about a rental car experience? The car was upgraded as the booked selection was not available, it was clean, reliable, ready to go upon our arrival and gave us no issues - the check out experience was quick and seamless - I think we were on the road within 5 minutes of arriving at the counter and the return was similarly quick and seamless

One of the worst car rental experience I ever had. Store was left un-atteneded, no one will answer your calls and no voice mail setup, they say something and charge something for fuel. Front desk told that fuel price would $3 and they charge 10 per gallon, it kind of ridicules

Borrowed twice here. After hour return is always useful. Didnt give me hard time with scratches. Two of employees here worked overtime for me when I came in late.

Made a reservation online and when I arrived they told me they were out of cars, that they don’t know why the website allows to keep reserving if they don’t have cars.
