Avoid this store or atleast ask for price before going in for serviceI used to get oils change for $54.99. I went yesterday for just a regular oil change and didn’t ask for price. I got charged and had to pay $91. The rep said due to high engine oil prices. I called Toyota Dealsrship and they would do oil change for $70. What’s the point of going to Firestone?Price of brake pad change $580. They are overcharging for everything.Update: Manager contacted me after I emailed their customer service. Adding two stars as they contacted me and offered full refund. I didn’t want a full refund so ended up get $20 which I think was fair.

Bought new tires from them a few hours later my tpms light goes on. I go back they drive it around then tell me it just needs to be driven a little longer. Did 2 hrs and it would come back on after a couple miles. Go back just to find out they broke it and tried to make me pay for a new one. 2 things that saved me was all 4 of my tpms were new so there was no way it was damaged as bad as it looked and The guy who put my tires on admitted to breaking it and not saying anything when it happened. They changed it. This was back in November 2020 and til this day it’s still messed up. I went back to them 3 times and they didn’t know what the problem was. Smh

Had an appointment for 5pm, Annie who scheduled my appointment, didn’t even fill out the correct Info to have the tire I needed there when I arrived.. then sat for 2 hours before finding out the tire still hadn’t arrived. Terrible with communication and basic computer skills. Don’t waste your time at this Firestone.

Great customer service at this location. Service Manager John was very knowledgeable and communicates with his costumers effectively and with honesty. Not to mention a WHOLE LOT of patience, even with difficult customers, all while having to man the phone, gathering quotes for another customers, etc etc. Thumbs up for services at this Firestone.

Went in to get my AC recharged because when I was working on my car I had to take the condenser off. So I know it just needs a recharge. Waited 4 hours for them to look at my car and then tell me an hour later my AC compressor is broken and my condenser is broken. Quoted me for $2100 which cost more than my car. Paid the $10 AC check fee and went to a small local mechanic to get it recharged. Never go to a franchise auto repair shop. 90% of them are known to rip you off.

I grew up with a family of mechanics, but I moved away. Im always skeptical as a woman going to get my Volkswagen fixed because its always expensive and not many mechanics can do a good job. This Firestone has been honest! The dealership quoted me $1500 to do everything and this shop did it for $477. They are the best!

The customer service here is the worst. John and Rob are rude. They are using foul language and slamming phones down. My visit, with an appointment, was supposed to be 30-45 min. Ive now been here over 1.5 hours and they are not done yet. I will not be back, ever.

We waited here all day, literally, all day, waiting on enterprise rental car to do their job. They didnt. But!!!! Firestone said screw it! Well change the tire since u were left here stranded. Couldnt give a better review for the staff here. They treated us amazingly. Thank u forestone for doing the right thing And taking care of people even when someone else doesnt do their job properly. Customer service is very important.

Good price on some truck tires but they tried hard to fleece me on unneeded repairs. Took it to my regular guy afterwards and he says none of the $2500 in repairs they were trying to push was needed. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE SALES PITCH! Have any recommended repairs checked out by someone else.

Its been my 3rd visit to this shop.. Last 2 visit was good but the 3rd one, was very unhappy and bad experience. Was there for just oil change which was around $54, but after I left with my car. Thats last oil change caused me an extra of $1200. They changed my oil as they said, but when I was driving back home which was in 3 miles from the store, all of sudden my car got heated up to Max. Next morning it did the same thing. When I opened and had a look under the bonnet, I found there was no coolent in the radiator. They didnt bother to top up the fluids and because of that it leaked my radiator and with that messed my engine up.. I dont even want to remember that incident.

I came to get an oil change around three o clock yesterday. The person working the counter tells me that it wouldn’t be ready until 7, and I have to work that night so I can’t do that. He says to come back in the morning right at 7 when they open and he will get me in and out of there. I show up at 6:58, and he is already getting someone else’s car ready and there’s only one technician so it will take at least an hour for me. Rude, and wasting my time. I have to go to work so I can’t sit around and wait for possibly more than an hour. I will never go to Firestone again. This is the second bad experience I’ve had with a Firestone. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!

Called before driving out to get a inspection... Place was empty, arrived and parked on one of the bays.. The gentleman at the front desk said to me “is that your machine? why is it parked there?” And then on top of that he says that their machines are down for inspection. I will never step foot in this building again rude and unprofessional

Bad experience. Oil change and a tire rotation taking more than 2 hours with only 2 cars in the bays, and plenty of employees standing around is unacceptable. Asked them to put air in the tires, they didn’t. I will never be going back.

From the start they were trying to sell me things I didnt need, shouldve known better than to have my car taken here. They totally overcharged me. $600+ dollars for something that shouldve been between $300-$500, and it wouldve been more if I hadnt called them out for adding extra charges on that they hadnt told me about over the phone. Guy claimed I had agreed to fees that I never agreed to before bringing the vehicle in. When I got my car back the check engine light was on when it wasnt even on when I dropped the car off. The only reason I left my car there to get fixed is because it wouldve cost more to have it towed somewhere else; though, I almost wish I had gone ahead and towed it somewhere else if only to keep from giving this location my money. Didnt get the guys name behind the counter but he was super rude & talked down to me the entire time.

Not worth spending your money here. Had my alignment checked here, and the same date I drove back home it was still the same, nothing was fixed but made me pay almost $300, $100 for alignment and $200 because my tires were wearing out and I had to had to change it cuz they were telling it was leaking and could have caused the car to pull right... I thought everything would be good after I spent my money and time there. I dont know what they did inside, they made me wait for 4 hrs straight, even took the appointment online but still they took almost 30 minutes to take my car in. Will never recommend to repair your car here. The best suggestion is go to your car/truck company service center, make an appointment and let them check it before bringing in any other money hungry place(especially this one).

Took my car in for front end alignment. They told me my CV axle was leaking my front struts were leaking. Struts were replaced 3 months ago. My car was fine before taking it in and made no noises. One day into driving it my car began making a knocking noise and I just replaced the front struts, inner tie rods and outer tie rods about 3 months ago. There should be no reason for the knocking noise that came back after taking my car for an alignment. Never taking my car back.

We carried our 2001 Toyota 4Runner here for a front end alignment after we had replaced ball joints and rack/pinon parts. Work performed in a timely manner and we were impressed. Still having a problem with our traction control, no fault of theirs, so we carried it back and they fixed the problem. The ABS sensor had been put back on upside down - dont know how as it can only go one way when we worked on it ourselves. However, it was bad and so it was replaced and we think all is good as traction is fine. After driving the vehicle for around 30 miles the wheel started wobbling where the ABS sensor had been replaced. Barely made it home and lug nuts were loose, did some damage but didnt lose the lug nuts nor wheel thank God; we torqued it all down and all is right with the vehicle again.I felt they were overpriced in their charges but was impressed with everything in the beginning until the wheel almost fell off. I know some shops overcharge but if the job is done right and I dont have to go back and receive good service then the price is worth it to not have to worry or return the car for same problem.I will not be back to Firestone as their prices do not meet my expectations of repairs and quality of work is lacking. Vehicle was at risk as well as safety of others on highway.

Ive been to all of the Firestone stores in Irving, and found them all lacking to one degree or another. So when my company vehicle needed maintenance, I dove into the Google ratings for other nearby stores. This one in HEB was the best combination of proximity and rating. I also saw several comments singling out Ambers customer service skills. Sure enough, when I called for an appointment, Amber answered and had me set up in no time. Ryan checked me in, and although he was handling multiple customers and ringing phones by himself, he did the thing too many never think of: he didnt ignore me. Instead, he greeted me and told me hed be with me as soon as he could.The rest of the visit was all I ever hope for--that is to say, uneventful. The work was done prior to the promised time, company billing went through without needing my intervention, and I received a call to let me know that the car was ready for retrieval.More than worth the extra 10 minute drive. Ive found my mechanic.

I have used this location for a few years now & their service is in a constant state of decline. We are a family of 6 cars & use them for oil changes & minor repairs. Firestone is moving employees around too much in my opinion. Customers develop a rapport with staff, as I had, and over the last year, the turnover, or “relocation”, has been excessive. My specific complaint is that the new manager John, is rude & very unprofessional. I had a window switch replaced 6 mos. ago & when I got my vehicle back, the window worked but everything else on the door didn’t, locks, mirrors, & seat warmers. I was told they ordered the wrong switch & fixed the situation. Six months later, the switch is out again, and when I brought back in, for warranty work, I told them to be careful not to order the wrong part & explained 1st situation.... picked up vehicle & once again, wrong switch used, window worked, but everything else out. When I notified John, I was told “I don’t care what they told you the last time, there is only 1 switch for that model”. Called @ 7am, upon opening, to discuss issue & was told by John, “I have a line of customers waiting, can I call you back....”. Besides the fact that the mechanic isn’t checking that everything works properly before returning a vehicle to a customer TWICE, the customer service is totally unacceptable & is seriously lacking professionalism!!

The most dishonest repair shop in Tarrant county. Took my car in for front end alignment. They told me my CV axle was leaking my front struts were leaking. Struts were replaced 3 months ago. I was nervous to find an auto repair shop that would provide only what my car needed in repairs and service. This Bedford Firestone relieved me of all worries and provided respectful and professional service. Mason was very courteous and explained carefully the problem and solution. I am experienced with auto problems and knew what was probably the issue and the fix, and they did too! Plus the waiting area and restroom were clean, comfortable and hospitable. I employed the on-line appointment scheduler without problems. I will be back for routine maintenance.Update: 10 months later. Had a new problem with my car and went back for more service. Again, I knew what was wrong and they concurred and made the repair with amazing efficiency. Amber was my associate this time and was kind and showed patience with all my questions and debate. I am very pleased with the outcome and back on the road with confidence.

The guys up front were super nice. The bathrooms and waiting room were super nice and comfortable. I think they are too expensive on labor. But they did take me in the day I came in and got my car done by 4pm. (Came in at 1045am) gave me a ride home, so I did not have to wait. My car feels so much better. Thanks Firestone :)

Was waiting in the parking lot when they opened due to them being the earliest opening tire shop in the area. All I needed was for a flat to be fixed. I waited as they got everything ready and was first in the door just to be told it would be at least 2 hours before they could get to my car. I told them all I needed was a flat fixed it should take no time and Im already late for work, blank stare and just replied that I could leave my keys and it would be at least 9am before they could look at it. Left got it fixed in 12 minutes in Irving. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone one and will actively recommend against Firestone from this point forward, bunch of people collecting pay checks but paying no attention to the costomer or bottom line.

People never write positive reviews so I wanted to make sure I did. We had a battery issue so I went to firstone, they checked it out and confirmed we needed a new battery. When I asked how much they asked when and where I bought the battery. It wasn’t with them and about a year ago. They suggested I use the warranty, something I hadn’t even thought of. Really good honest people here!! 5 Stars all the way.

Took my vehicle here to get checked out due to a coolant leak, the estimate of repair was over $1500, to replace my radiator and water pump. took my vehicle to a different garage for a second opinion and the actual repair only cost $300 to replace the water pump, because there was nothing wrong with my radiator. While the staff was friendly and helpful, i cant over look the fact they tried to get me to replace a part of my vehicle that wasnt even damaged. Im not sure if that error was due to incompetence or they were intentionally trying to scam me, but if you take your vehicle here definitely get a second opinion!

I went in with my older car for a tire rotation and balance, also asked them to check my front end alignment. I had bought nice tires and got a front end alignment from a different store last year. I was told that the right front lower ball joint was worn and they could not check the alignment, quoted $245 to replace it, I declined. What the gentleman behind the counter did not know was 2 years ago I replaced both front control arms which includes lower ball joints. I took it to Goodyear, the alignment is fine.

I have been going here for years, but there is apparently a new manager who cant manage. I made an appointment for a timing belt, but when I got there, was informed that the only technician who could do the repair was not there. So I made an appointment for the next week. When I got there, the same thing happened! I rearranged my and my mothers schedule for this, two weeks in a row, because its a 6 or 7 hour repair job, and still havent gotten anything done. I dont know what happened to Will, because he was great.I wont be going back.

I appreciate the kindness, honesty and integrity of the staff at this location. Kory the current manager recently went way above and beyond in customer service when I had some difficulty getting my vehicle to the shop. They offered thorough diagnostics and helpful in determining if my own vehicle warranty may cover the problem WHICH IS EXTREMELY APPRECIATED and almost unheard of in automotive service world. Their prices for truly necessary work or service are very reasonable and they will work with you. Technician Hassan has also been very helpful. Thanks for the nice job guys... The service manager Amber is very kind. We bought a cash car that is a dodge charger with 22s. We purchased some cheap used tires from a tire mart. Not many places can or will mount those length of tires cheaply, but she helped us find a Firestone that was able to do it. I do not now much about cars as I would like to, but she talked to me for about 5 minutes, about how much it would cost to replace the wheel size and tires. Great service, will come back to this firestone for any of our needs.

Yesterday we brought our service truck up to this shop to have a simple alignment and rotation and balance done. They told us that the front right brake caliper has locked up and that the rotor and pads are metal on metal and said that it all needs to be replaced at the price of $1400. This morning we took off the tire and looked at the brake system. The caliper is not locked up and the pads have over 1/4 inch of pad left on them. So either their technicians there are incompetent and are misdiagnosing or they are intentionally trying to steal from their customers. Either way, I would recommend that anyone seeking auto work to steer clear of Firestone.

I bought my current set of tires here about two years. I havent been super impressed with the quality of the tires themselves. Theyre the Firestone brand, the top of the line model that fits my car, and Ive already had to have two patches done. My last set I got from Discount Tires and went around 60,000 miles without a single issue. But I dont have many complaints about the shop itself.all the workers Ive met have been very nice and helpful. The waiting room is pretty small but theres a TV, bottled water, and Keurig machine that theyll stock. Everytime Ive gone in there theyve been pretty busy so theres a long wait but theyve let me drop off my car and have called me when its ready so thats nice at least.

Someone called in sick after Fourth of July, which is pretty common. Amber did a great job setting the right expectation. She did not try to make me wait three hours like people at Mcdavid Honda dealer so that they can earn money off of me while I waste time. I will definitely be back to this store for my tires because of her honesty.

I have been using this store since 2012, on February 9, 2019 that changed. I stopped in to have my yearly state inspection performed and upon checking me in the service writer walks up to my vehicle opens the driver side door and I assumed she was getting the mileage off the car and getting the Vin number then she walks around the car looks at my tires and then walked back in and states “your back tires are going to fail” and then mentioned another tire I know for a fact those tires have less than 20,000 miles on them and their mileage warranty is for twice that. The tires were brand new when I purchased them less than a year ago. She was not at all sympathetic and she refused to change her mind. I simply think that she was just looking for an excuse to think another dumb customer would pay for overpriced tires. The state of Texas has certain requirements for how much tread it has to be a lot of vehicles tires, I I strongly believe my tires are within the legal limits and what she did was not only unethical but may very well be illegal. Be careful if you bring your car here it’s changed I don’t recognize any of the staff there I have a feeling that if Ernie or any of the old employees have been there this would not of happened or at least they would’ve been much more polite about it. It’s a cowardly move to claim something and use the state law as your reasoning. Again I cannot say what they did was illegal, but I would caution other consumers to be very careful about bringing their vehicles here, do your research use common sense and ask questions when they replace a part asked for the old one back you have the legal right. I don’t know if firestone can earn my business back at this point I would rather just find another mechanic. Also earlier I would assume about the end of summer beginning of fall in 2018 I had almost $1000 worth of brake work done all they did was change the pads the fluid in the brake rotors they claimed that I had the wrong rotors and pads on my vehicle. Now I drive a retired police car so my parts are usually heavy-duty parts. Regardless of the cars are used right now it needs the heavy-duty parts off and cases those parts will Specific to the car so they could not put parts from a civilian crown Victoria onto my car in some cases I believe the brakes suspension and a few other parts are an example of this. I did not take it to the Ford dealer as that would cost too much money but I definitely think these folks don’t care about being honest anymore I think they changed staff and they have lost all their integrity. Put Amber and Ernie back in charge and maybe you’ll get your customers back they were the only ones who ever cared. They treated your customers like family you change staff and I don’t know what happened to them. you need to bring them back. UPDATE they lie about tires, they said mine were unsafe but I have been to the tire store and discount tire who both said “yeah you might want to consider new tires but these are completely legal for passing the inspection, come see us this summer”

I got a large screw in my tire from all the local road work. After stopping at Walmart and being told we dont have anyone on tires today, I tried another shop down the road that was too busy to even see what we needed. Bad luck got better coming here. Friendly staff with super fast service. They also didnt charge us a thing for the repair!!! So thankful they could help us out today. Ernie made our day!

There were a series of events on a single repair that led me to write this review.11/4/2018 - Performed a flat repair on the front right tire- left a white chalk mark on the tire. Shops use the chalk to mark the leak but good ones take it off after repair is complete. The chalk stain is a permanent stain if not removed by the store. I have a white stain on my tire now.- made me drive to the shop to help them locate the wheel lock key. This should’ve been collected as the part of the process when they take the vehicle in; just like they collect the car keys. They called me to inform that they couldn’t find the wheel lock key after looking for it in the trunk and the glove box. I found it in the glove box. However, the right thing to do is to collect it from the owner rather than going through the trunk and glove box without permission.The next day the tire pressure light comes on indicating that the TPMS is bad, the tire was holding pressure. I took it back to the shop albeit one and a half month later (12/20) because it’s not critical. It was 4 PM so they conveniently asked me to come back again the next day because they didn’t have enough technicians. This is a visit that shouldn’t be happening in the first place because TPMS should’ve been reset.12/22/2018 - I ask for a reset of TPMS which must’ve been missed IMO. It’s a 5 minute job to reset the TPMS but I was asked to leave the car with them. As the front desk guy was going over the paperwork he started laying the foundation for a TPMS replacement with a pitch like - the car is 10 years old so the sensor battery is probably dead, Infiniti’s reset TPMS automatically when driven over 30 mph so it must be broke. I asked him again to simply reset the sensor and that I sincerely doubt that anything else is wrong. Anyway a switch flipped in me and I decided to disengaged with this shop and left next door to Discount Tire. Discount Tire checked all the sensors which came back good, they reset the front right sensor and the dash light is gone. Discount Tire charged me ... ZERO dollars and I was out the door in 20 minutes.I called back to the store to share my bad experience and let them know that I feel that they were incompetent, they didn’t own up to their work and made me do multiple runs on a job that was untidy. Most importantly their competition next door was so accommodating even when they didn’t make any money off me. The shop even admitted that Discount Tire is a specialized shop for tires and have much better tools than Firestone who also do a lot of other auto service repair.Takeaway: if there is anything related to tires that need done ALWAYS GO TO DISCOUNT TIRE NEXT DOOR.

Dropped my car off at 1:15 to check the brake pads since i was driving to denver thr next day. Informed Ernie (manager at the front desk) i would return in about 2 hours and run errands with a friend who dropped me off. Ernie assured me that was plenty of time. When i came back 3 and a half hours later my vehicle was yet to be looked at. Not keeping my friend waiting, i have now been sitting in their lobby for over an hour and have yet to get even an update on my car. I will never come here again and hope you do the same.

This Firestone is the worse!! I took in my car around 5ish and they told me that i would have to leave it over night. I needed my battery replaced. They said i would get a call from them around 10 am to give me an update. Next day its 10:20 am no call. I call them and they tell me that they havent even started? All i wanted was a call back so i could prepare myself and find another way to get to work! Didnt even bother to apologize for not giving me an update when i had asked for one when i took it in.

Then They Refused To Inspect The Tire After It Was Removed From The Vehicle. Itz A Firestone Tire With Road Hazard Warranty. Then, They Mounted It Wrong. Inside Sidewall, On The Outside. It Was Labeled. What A Day.

This tire shop is average, I came in because they opened before other tire shops in my area and after not being able to make it to my dealership the night before. The store needs more front staff help, the guy running it seems very angry and frustrsted when there are too many customers. There were several times where he got off the phone with a customer and slammed it down.

I had a constantly overheating car a few months ago and brought my car here. Took forever to have the car further messed up by these genius mechanics. Huge waste of time and money, and dangerous! Thanks to their pitiful work I found myself stranded on the side of the road the next day. I took it to the firestone in NRH and they actually fixed my thermostat, had better customer service, and were all around more pleasant to work with. Tl;dr: skip this place. Go to the firestone in NRH off Rufe Snow.

Firestone Bedford 3221 Harwood Rd. (Near 121) or the one near NorwoodFYI I DO NOT recommend using these places. They will upsell you like crazy and mark up the parts cost as much as 400%. They did this too me this week. Marked up the parts by 400% and double charged for labor on the estimate. All of this to fix an Oil leak after I had already spent $590 with them to replace an oil leak at the oil pan (truck has lift kit and off road suspension). The 3221 location kept my truck for 4 hours and said they couldnt find the other oil leak. AND the oil leaking was dark not fresh oil, which should have been placed in my vehicle after the Oil pan repair, it appears they RE-USED my oil after the repair. So I call the district manager, he sends me to the one near Norwood. In 45 minutes they have located where the oil leak was and gave me a $1,400.00 estimate to repair. They marked up the parts by 400% and double charged for labor on the estimate for things that would have had to be done in the process of getting to the main problem they said was the Valley Gasket. Next I take my truck to a 72 year old man whos been working on vehicles half his life, within 30 seconds of crawling under my truck he crawls out and says firestone is full of it, that I have a rear main seal leak and none of the things they listed needed to be done. He said it was about a 4 hour repair job and should run about $400-600 dollars. I went back to the Firestone at 3221 and spoke to Ernie (should be the manager he and the lady there are the only honest ones) I told them what I had just learned. They pulled up the estimate from the other shop and the shocking look on their faces said it all. All they could do was apologize and didnt understand why the other shop would do that. This isnt the first time they have tried to screw me or damage one of my vehicles. Last summer their mechanics blew out my entire AC system after replacing it because they didnt clear the lines. But the Manager at the time (Will) owned up to it and replaced my AC system at no cost. The Manager they have now (Ryan) will lie to you and try to sell you more than you need. Hes obviously more concerned about bringing his budget numbers up than he is about integrity or maintaining long time customers. So be warned avoid both of these scam artist Firestones!
