Very on time! I love the work that this salon does and the quick efficient service they provide! I think the price is a little higher than similar service from other salons but it’s near-bye and very comfortable
I just recently moved to the area and it has been a STRUGGLE to find a good nail spot until I found V & V Nail Spa! I didnt make an appointment but they still took me in and were extremely accommodating and nice the whole way through. Thank you!!
In the area has a number of nail salons and I think Ive tried most of them. I now only go here for my pedicures. The atmosphere is classy and relaxing. The chairs are comfortable!! Perfect!!
Its my second time here today and I had a great experience! Their nail art is unmatched. Im never going anywhere else in the area! They did great job fir my manicure and pedicure!
I had a great experience at here! When I arrived, I delighted to see such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and was greeted by a friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
I have given this salon multiple chances in regards to waxing because it is so conveniently located for me, but I am tired of being shamed for not getting my lip waxed too. If you want to hear comments about how you would be prettier without a mustache then this is the place for you. Even if I did have hair on my lip the rude comments and not taking no for an answer would have been infuriating enough. The icing on the cake was after I refused a lip waxing 3 times she tried to tell me she was done when i still had wax on my eyebrows and hairs that needed to be plucked. To say Im disappointed, is an understatement.
Got me in quick. Loved the service
I posted on their Yelp and Facebook. They did a terrible pedicure and wouldnt own up even with pictures. If you look at their Facebook the reviewers are fake profiles and of course all 5 stars. All fake reviewers are friends with the other fake ones. Check it out. Extremely unprofessional. I see they have fake ones here too. Rakes Angela. Davis AshtyneLook at the other reviews by them .
Came in three times. No one greeted us. So we left.
Thank you Sarah for doing a fantastic job on my nails this morning. I appreciate you being so patient with me and I love my nails now.
Loan cut my big toes cuticle of my feet. I then asked for Dip & Powder with artificial nails like it says on the website. She then tells me they can’t do that. Then why is it advertised on your website that you can. I will never go back to this place. There were way to many customers in a small place during Covid and no social distancing at all.
I went in for the first time as a walk in a week ago. I got a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was and is great! The manicure however, not great. I got shellac and it only lasted 3 days. Its falling off my nails already. Ive never had an issue like this. I am disappointed, specifically because this service is not inexpensive.
I was a walk-in and had previously never gone here. It did come highly recommended. However, my mistake and not specifically finding out which manicurist did a good job. I will never go here again.1. Unfortunately, the person who did my nails spent the first part texting with somebody.2. I brought my own nail polish as it is the color I prefer and twice she tried to talk me out of it. This is a color I have historically been using at other salons so I know its not an issue of the quality of the product.3. I went in for an acrylic fill and she up talked me into a complete new set. Assuming she knew what she was talking about, I agreed.4. She asked me the length and I told her I wanted them shorter. She did not ask me if the length was correct and just started cutting. Im okay with shorter length but these were definitely shorter than I would have preferred. Especially for a new set of nails. I would recommend that she cancel with her clients before charging into her own ideas.5. Because I had my own nails she only put an acrylic over the top of them. Not only did she put the acrylic over the top of my nails but all around and over my cuticles and underneath my nails. I had never had that done before but thought maybe this is something better than what I have historically gotten. Absolutely positively not!!!!! This person did not know what the heck she was doing. See attached picture.6. In addition to overlapping with the acrylic she also used the Dremel tool and scratched around my cuticles. Evidenced also by the picture.7. My own polish, my own nails, and I was charged $45. Ive never even been charged that much when an excellent job was done.8. After I got back to my car and really looked at my nails I decided I needed to go back in and have her see what she could do about fixing them. In all fairness, she did try, but there was really nothing she could do. The picture attached is the end product. As I said at the beginning of this review, I will not go back to this place nor would I recommend it.
Good atmosphere nice folks. As a walk in they took me right away.
Nice hot stone massage on a rainy day
Tam is an amazing person. I really enjoyed my experience with her. She did a wonderful pedicure and I felt pampered. The hot stone massage was fantastic, it made my feet and legs energized. When it came time for my manicure I was going to have acrylic nails, but I have a hard time with them, so she suggested getting my nails dipped instead and she was spot on with the suggestion. To me, it was worth the money and time to do. I will be going back when I need a mani/pedi. Thank you so much Tam, it was a pleasure to meet you.Thank you Tam as always you are a very pleasant person and I appreciate your time and effort you put into your work, I am very grateful and satisfied with your companionship when we meet. Thank you for a lovely experience
Amazing. Theyre always so nice and treat you like royalty.
I decided to try V&V nails because it was on my way to work and I wasnt able to go to my usual nail salon. I had the pleasure of having Cindy do my nails and she did a fantastic job! I never have a great experience if I go anywhere other then my usual place but this was definitely a great experience. The only complaint if I had to pick any was the pricing... every little thing was extra even getting them done in a coffin shape. But in the end it was worth it and I am happy!
The nail technician I use does a great job, and I have been going here for a couple of years now. I am pleased with their service. The reason for my low review score is due to the fact that every time I have been in there for service (3 times since the covid-guidelines have been in place), the owner doesn’t wear a face mask. I am not sure why she doesn’t feel it is important to comply with the government-mandated rule requiring masks to be worn at all times? I am immune-compromised and take my health seriously. I expect that the owner would do so as well. Consequently, since she isn’t wearing a mask, there are other employees not wearing masks. If the owner has a medical condition preventing her from wearing a mask, she needs to wear one of the clear face shields and set a positive example for her employees. As a side note, just a pet peeve of mine, the owner sits with her dirty bare feet on the furniture and walks around with no shoes on. Just seems unprofessional and unclean to me.
First time here, loved what they did and love the salon. Do make sure things are explained walked out spending about 30 more then I planned, I didn’t quite understand all the things she was asking if I wanted it this way or that way.. They are definitely a salon with the plan to upscale! But don’t let that deter you, they are really good.
I go to a lot of nail salons and get my nails done frequently, but I decided to try one of the salons closer to my house. I asked for a design with a new set. I haven’t had a full set in awhile due to the lockdown so I was pretty excited! The first woman that helped me said they were able to do the design, but when I sat down Mychi was actually the one doing my nails. She said she couldn’t do the design, so we settled for ombré. The finish result was the worst ombré I’ve ever had. My new set looks so sloppy! It’s like she was in a hurry to get them done and didn’t care what they look like. The ombré is supposed to look blended nicely with fusion of two colors, instead it looks like two colors just put on my nail. Also, the bottom of my nails look like they’re already growing out and it’s only been a couple of days! She could’ve done a way better job. Let’s just say I won’t be going there again. I gave 3 stars because the customer service and atmosphere wasn’t awful. Just the outcome of my nails. 😞
Had the dip powder done by Nancy. She did a great job. Nails look great.
Would NOT recommend going here. Overpriced and the quality is horrible. The staff is also extremely rude.
Would NOT recommend coming here. Spend way too much money on a gel manicure and acrylic removal. They removed my acrylics by peeling them off and it HURT. A different nail tech shaped my nails and painted right over the peeled acrylic without filing them at all. They also completely rushed through my nails spending about a total of 30 minutes. They were very unprofessional and rude and I will NOT be returning.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Not only dose my boyfriends mom go here all the time and come home with the cute nails! But they have amazing price, quality work and beyond a welcoming calm atmosphere! I went to Paul Mitchell to get my nails done for prom on the day of, they not only did a HORRIBLE job but they didn’t even have a blue nail color! I went here they not only fixed it but they did the exact nails I wanted and more for such a good price!! This definitely a go to nail spa!!
I used to LOVE this nail salon prior to COVID. They were so friendly & professional! I was so excited to get my first manicure and pedicure in months but the first time I went back was extremely disappointing. They won’t give you a menu or tell you any prices but the prices must have raised a LOT because a pedicure and manicure was over $100 for gel?! I had no idea until I checked out and my mouth about dropped to the floor. Plus they didn’t clean my cuticles or even give me a manicurein any way! They literally just painted stuff on and did it unevenly so it looked like it was already grown out on top of the cuticles not being cleaned up. The next day after the gel manicure, it peeled off. I couldn’t do anything about it because I was in Washington for the weekend so I literally just wasted $50. I decided to give them another chance thinking maybe that it was just the person I got. NOPE. They’re EXTREMELY rude now, I’m not sure if it changed ownership but I am literally writing this IN their salon as I’m here. Again, no cleaning of the cuticles, no massage, no lotion, NOTHING and then charging way more than they used to. They asked me to wash my hands before the manicure and as I was washing them the girl starts yelling at me to hurry up so she can start I’m front of everyone..? What kind of service is that? And then the entire time she was criticizing my nails and eyebrows. I will not be coming here anymore or bringing my friends here anymore. I only wrote reviews for places I either love or had the worst experience ever at, this is one of those experiences.
Be careful when u go here first they trick u into getting shalack that cost 20 more and the lady cut my toe and cause me to bleed.. The whole reason I get pedicures is for the massage .. there was no massage. what did I pay 61for. To sit in a chair and get a cut.
I disliked this place years ago and made the mistake of giving it another chance. Went in for a shellac mani, tech was unfriendly and extremely hurried. She was done in 20 minutes with a SHELLAC MANI. Didnt clean up my cuticles, didnt round the edges out, only did one layer of shellac and then argued with me when I expressed concern. Already chipped after 2 days. My bad for coming here. Never again.
Great massage chair and great pedi! Get the sea salt scrub!
Amazing pedicure! Thanks
I normally love this place but the service has really gone down hill made an appointment for me and 2 other friends got there waited about 15 minutes before being seated and then got seated for our pedicures with cold water wasnt offered a drink at all while we waited another 20 minutes before we were helped....this was with an appointment not a walk in I would have gladly booked for another time if they would have told me there was a going to be a long wait. The ladies that did our pedicure were nice but seemed annoyed that we were there...overall just disappointed by our treatment probably wont be back.
I love going to see My Chi at V&V Nails! She has done my nails for years! She does the best job! I can rely on her to do a perfect professional job everytime! She is very personable and caring! Go to V&V Nails and ask for My Chi, shes the best!
Work is good, but they try to sell you a lot & charge quiet a bit compared to where we use to go. Unfortunately they closed last year.
Great experience. Went in for a dip service and I love the outcome. Nails look great. Nancey, my nail tech was awesome and really knew what she was doing. I will definitely be coming back
Just got my eyebrows done. They do not match. I asked for them to be cleaned up since I do not have a whole lot of eyebrow to work with but somehow they took a chunk. And then left a lot on one side. NEVER AGAIN.And they got wax in my hair and had to pull it out. If I wanted this much pain and disastrous results I would have done it myself.
I’ve been going to V&V for a year now. Tina is hands down the BEST acrylic nail artist there is. She is always so willing to do whatever idea I come up with. I highly recommend her.
The professionalism and cleanliness is on point! Tina is amazing and I constantly get compliments on my nails. For pedicures they line the bowl with throw away plastic covers, this cements the fact that they take hygiene seriously! The atmosphere is light and bright and friendly! I recommend checking them out!
I went and got my nails done today and they were super nice. I had asked for a shellac manicure which they said 35. When I was looking at color, which they have a large variety, I had asked if they have had dip. She said yes and that it was the same price. So I decided to do the dip and they had to place me with someone else. So as this new lady was doing the dip I asked when does she cut my cuticle and she said that would be extra. I didn’t understand why since when I walked in I asked for a manicure. So when I went to pay to a different lady she told me 40.00. I told her the First Lady said 35.00 and that they didn’t do a manicure just nail dip. So she went and asked the lady who did it and she stated 40. I asked how much a shellac manicure is and she told me 28.00. Bottom line is that they all tell u different pricing and u really don’t know what you are paying until after it’s all done. They scammed me and I had to pay the 40.00. So I ended up with super expensive painted ONLY nails, not worth it at all and won’t be going back.
I finally found a good nail salon! Thank you Katelyn for giving me a gorgeous ombré full set! I love my nails. 🥰💅🏻
Always a great experience! My nail tech today was so gentle and very kind. Ive never had a bad experience here. I bring my mom and roommate here as well and we always have had exemplary experiences and results.
You can drop in here without an appointment. V & V do waxing and other beauty treatments besides nails. Good service. Can be a little pricey, depending on what you want done.
Wonderful staff and location! Walked in and had no wait. Looks very pretty. Relaxing experience.
Love every time I go there. Great service. Great people. Great techniques.
Tons of stations and nice look but I felt the shellac manicure was done to quickly without a significant attention to detail. The cost was ridiculous. If you get a shellac manicure it is 28$ but if you just want gel with shellac it is $45 and you get no manicure, so no cuticle work, no massage... You have to pay for that seperatly. She never spoke to me other than to ask what color and if I wanted something to drink. She talked in her native language to other techs the whole time which I think is so rude. They make you feel like they are talking about you. It was like being a cow just rushing me through the process. I will not recommend nor will I ever go back. I go to relax and get treated right they turned my treat into a trick of poor quality service.I will go back to beauty nails at Mall 205 off the 205 freeway. Great prices, clean, friendly detailed staff who interact with you making you feel like they are there for you.
Came in for a brow wax shout out to the waxer she kept my eye brows thick i hate it when they are too thin and i look surprised for 2 weeks. Decided on getting a pedi also great Lady awesome job. The only issue i had was trying to pay they insist you pay cash no issue but the kid working the front in the jean vest was so rude when i was trying to get change to tip the awesome ladies for the amazing job i was starting to lose my cool with how rude he was to me after an other wise relaxing hour of my and that prompted another customer called me a racist. I happen to be mix and my husband is Asian. I have gone here a bunch of times and this has been my only issue so i will pay with a card going forward since that kid just pocketed the money.
First time going there everyone took good care of me. My nails came out perfect. Not crooked. Did the ombre I requested. Smiles from everyone. I am definitely going back.
Although she is my favorite — Cindy keeps trying to sell the DIP manicure every time I come in for a regular gel/shellac manicure. I had to post because after I said politely “no thank you- regular gel manicure please” she continuously tries to tell me the Benefits of the DIP manicure. 5 times in total, making me uncomfortable. I personally hate the DIP and Will never want it.If this continues I will have to find a new Cindy 😔
Went on a Saturday just after opening for pedicures. Got us in immediately and did a good job. Only tried to up-sell once and gave us disposable foam flip flops since we forgot to bring our own. Prices consistent with any other salon in the area.
Cindy did an amazing job with my nails and brows and had some great advice. :) Super happy!
Love this place! Great service every time i go and Ive been coming here for over 10 years.
I had gone in 30 minutes before they were suppose to close on Sunday and had Tina A, she did such an amazing job and gave me a brand new full set with powder dip and it’s the best set I’ve ever gotten in my life!! Highly recommend
Loan is top notch and very detailed. I always get a shellac pedicure and they last a whole month!
Terrible service, terrible manicure. It was a busy Saturday so maybe thats why. My nail tech rushed me through an acrylic set in just over 15 minutes and actually flat out told me she didnt want me in her chair for very long. Also told me I need to wax my eyebrows? Anyway, all of that would have been whatever if I liked the nails, but they were awful. First of all, they look NOTHING like the photo I showed her, color or design. Second, there were HUGE GAPS from the beginning like theyve been growing out for 2 weeks and need a fill. The shape is terrible - asked for coffin and got thick, puffy chiclet nails. Finally, some of them were obviously crooked. Also. they popped off in just over a week because they were so poorly done. Ill attach a pic of what I got (taken same day) and what I asked for, you guess which is which.
They got me in without an appnt., did a wonderful job and interacted with me appropriately. The price for this set was $15 less than the other more busy and stuffy salon in Progress Ridge I had been going to for over 6 years. My full set french tip set with sparkle tip turned out wonderfully!! The salon space is lovely and definitely has enough room to move about. I will go back and will refer others.
I ran in before a holiday party. I had waited until the last minute to get my fingernails and toenails done. They could see the look of distress on my face got me in without an appointment quickly did an incredible job on my nails they looked amazing both fingernails and toenails and got me on my way to my holiday party and plenty of time. It was like a little bit of Christmas magic.
Cindy is the absolute best! Shes really sweet and does an amazing job, I tried the dipping powder for the first time and its life changing!
Always do a good job and takes walks in all the time! MyChi & Katelyn are great!
Pam does a nice job on Pink & White- an awesome job actually. The only negative thing I have to say about them as a whole is that some of the employeescan be obnoxious in trying to up sale and that can get old. I have found that if I let them know when I get there that Im not interested in all the extras, then I dont get frustrated.
Terrible! Where to begin? My nail tech was named Tina. She was very rough with my feet, except when it came to the massage. She applied no pressure and spent 13 minutes on my left leg and 2 on my right. If that is an exaggeration it is only that she might not have spent a full 2 minutes on the right. She also cut my toenails unevenly.I tried to engage in conversation, but she was too busy talking to her coworkers in another language to give me the time of day.I have spent weeks growing my fingernails and delicately filing them to keep them pretty. She asked if wanted a trim, and I said no, just a shape up. She proceeds to cut off the left and right sides of only some of my nails and filing them in a terribly uneven fashion. They were supposed to be rounded but look more like wonky triangles. It was heartbreaking to see all my hard work ruined in less than 5 minutes. She didnt even smooth the edges or get all the bits of cuticle off before starting to paint. When I didnt leave a tip (due to her extremely disappointing service) she started shaking the receipt at a coworker and again, talking in a different language. She tore the toe dividers off my feet and threw them on the table before storming off. Very unprofessional.Overall this was the worst experience I could have imagined.
Excellent and Clean Salon.Ive been coming to this nail salon since 2006. Every time I know im going to be taken care of. They treat you with something to drink. And wait is never long. My favorite gals are Van & Kim. My mom as well only comes to this nail salon. Service is well worth your money. I had a friend that was never satisfied with any work done to her nails. I brought her to this salon and they made it perfect to the way she liked. Owners are super nice. I LOVE V&V.
Always professional, clean, creative and quick. Ms. Tracy is the best and always is ready to meet my needs with a laugh & smile! They take the time to get to know their clients. Five stars!
Thao always does a nice job. I added the essential oil massage and loved it.
Great message and pedi.... Then, I went to pay. A) was asked for cash, B) 12.00 more than expected from referenced printed guide. C) who wants surprises at the end of a nice pedicure.
We went for a bachelorette nail party for the first time here. They were kind and got us in and out pretty quickly. My lady unfortunately was not fabulous. I didn’t get her name but my pedicure was very rough and she poked my toe and it started bleeding - it was not relaxing at all. And then when doing my shellac color change, even after I kept telling her no next time, she repeatedly said “you need full manicure because your nails will not be nice and pretty and they will peel” which is not true if you do a nice job on my nails I do them all the time and don’t need to do the full manicure. Now my nails are peeling after 4 days which should not happen with shellac and I have done them many times. I told the manager it was fine but that it was very rough on my feet and my toe bled.
I have been going to this spa for 8 yrs (back when it was only half the size it is now) and they have always done a phenomenal job! I have recommended dozens of time and taken many friends there. Every time I go to any other salon I am never as happy.
20 pedi chairs, 20 nail stations. Feels a little like a factory on first impression, but I got a great pedi, the chairs are very comfortable and the service is excellent. It was a relaxing experience.
Walked in for pedicures with my family around 11AM right when they opened.. None of us were not offered refreshments while we waited patiently 35 mins marinating in the foot spa. The service was so horrible. My family and I will not be returning here. I definitely think color played a part in this.
Im so glad I chose V&V Nails for my wedding mani/pedi. The receptionist and girls who did me and my moms nails (Katelyn and Mychi) were great! They both stayed an hour after for our nail services without question. They carried great conversation and offered free champagne! My mom and I both loved our nails from the service, color, shape, company, professionalism, and knowledge! Katelyn even offered me cute gems on each of my ring fingers, which was just the right touch along with my pink to white ombre. Thank you so much girls, we will be back!
They do a great job and don’t rush through it. Reasonably priced with a huge collection of polish to choose from.
Do not see Cindy at V&V nails. I happeded to be in this part of town having lunch with a friend, and we decided to go get our nails done. I was having acrylic overlay put on my nails with shellac polish. The shape of the Nails was decent but when she did the color I picked out a particular color just like they ask you to, but the color was a completely different shade and completely different color than the one on the example mail that they give you to choose from. I went over and showed the lady that the color was different because I wasn’t happy and she said she would fix it. I picked a different color and she tried to paint over the original color and left an outline around every single nail. She was rude, pushy and proceeded to tell me she had clients and could I come back later even though I told her I lived 30 minutes away. She finally took the color off and reapplied a different color and was burning me with the drill when she took the color off. She finished with the new color and just walked away. The nails look mishaped and the polish looks like a 2 year old did it. If you want a nice clean job DO NOT go to Cindy. She sits near the front on the left side. I am headed to my normal nail shop to pay another $20 on to top of the $40 i just spent so that I can not hide my hands.
Best pedicure EVER! Lily has spoiled me for anyone eles!!
I have been coming here for many years and seeing the same person for my nails and pedicures. Over the last few months I feel like I have been more rushed through and have not received very good treatment. I have had my shellac nails chip after a couple days. When I called to get them fixed I was told my person was not available (for the week) and told to go see someone else. I just went to get a pedicure..after drying and the wax...my nail lady messed up my nails when pulling off the wax and started to blame me. She acted very upset with me and then fixed the 5 nails that were messed up. Almost 2 hours later i touched my nails and they smudged again..all 5. Needless to say I am not going back. I do feel very sad since I have gone her for over 8 years.
I looked at these reviews and I am totally shocked. I have been going to V & V Nails since they opened (and before at another place). The owners are wonderful and so are ALL their staff. I have different manicurist all the time, some speak better English than others but that has never made them treat me badly. They greet me by name, they are excited to see me and my daughter and granddaughters when I have the opportunity to bring them. I have NEVER waited more than 10 minutes even when there where 4 people in front of me and the place was packed. I have never been treated badly or had a bad job done whether it is it is a mani or a pedi. The staff make sure I dont mess my nails up as a routine. I LOVE this place and will continue to use and recommend them to all my friends!!!! So should you.
Very disappointing experience. The ladies were nice for not knowing me and I was able to get in without an appointment....but the dip treatment is nail polish only. No manicure, no trim, no soak, no hand massage and its $40. Not to mention the 1st time they put it on, it turned out horrible. Another woman fixed it for me but then 2 days later it chipped and I had to go back again. Sad face.
I love a couple of the girls and used to love coming here but lately had a few bad experiences. We made an appointment for 3 pedicures and when we arrived had to wait 45 minutes for a chair ! Our pedicures were then rushed through and we were taken to a small waiting area for our toes to dry so the next people could have our chairs. The owner used to be very friendly now she walks around yelling at all the workers rushing them to the next appt. One of the girls working on my mothers feet hadnt had a break in hours, she said she was hungry and wasnt feeling well. I may report them for mistreatment of their employees. My opinion is this place became so popular that they have become money hungry and are treating us like cattle. It makes me very disappointed to see the negative change. Now Ill have to drive far to go somewhere else instead of walking across the street to what used to be the best. My friends in the area all feel the same way. Start taking care of your customers!
Horrible. The only good part of this place is the man who offers you a complimentary drink when you walk in. The rest is just bad news.In my 3 times of coming here, they ladys never could understand what it was I wanted, causing much time spent on trying to spell out what I wanted. (Simple shellac manicure) how hard it that to mess up. . .First she started to shave my nails off as if I asked for new set of acrylics. I immediately corrected HER mistake, and she got verbally aggressive in Vietnamese. She then continued on and did the worst paint job I have EVER seen by someone. Including myself..... When I asked her to fix her mistakes, (paint on my skin, and missing paint in places on all my nails) she started shouting in her language to the other workers and actually made someone else who was ALREADY WORKING ON ANOTHER CUSTOMER, TO COME FINISH MINE. then the owner or manager whoever she was came out and started literally SCREAMING at the top of her lungs to all the workers, causing. Very loud and a noxious scene to everyone. Seemed very unhappy. Then the new technician working on my nails, started to actually become aggressive with me, and was squeezing my hands harder and harder as the boss kept yelling. I was to pull away because it was so UNCOMFORTABLE. THIS PLACE mistreats their guests, and cant even make up for it by doing a good job. I could leave happy if my nails looked ok, but they didnt. I actually left this place to go to another, to pay ANOTHER 35$ to have the same thing done, that how upset I was. This place is so awful, rude, too fast, and very unpleasant to be in...... If I could give less than 1 star, I would......
Always friendly and the girls here doing a great job.
Usually a good visit....my daughters person took a personal call which shortened her service then she left mid stream to do another persons nails. She sat quite awhile before being finished....has gone downhill lately
V and V has always been great with me. Ive had such a hard time finding a salon that doesnt hurt my hands. Ive never left here with cut cuticles, badly shaped nails, or bad paint jobs. I see other reviews here and think that there must be a different reason theyre so upset. Ive been coming here for two years, and Im always greeted kindly.I will continue to go to V and V throughout my time in Beaverton. Keep up the great work everyone, you do fantastic!
Just had a wonderful Pedi from Tram. Beautiful paint job and massage.
Very nice. They all do great work.
I use to enjoy coming here, but the last few times have been horrible. When I went in I explained that the last time I was there; my shellac had chipped off within 2 days and I was showing them that my toes nail were filed crooked and I wanted them to file them right this time. The lady acted like she couldnt understand me; she kept saying I didnt do your nails last time. They sent 2 other workers over to try an assist me, but they as well, acted like they couldnt understand me. My husband had prepaid for me; I asked for a refund and left. I will not be returning. I agree, they no longer provide customer service; its all about making money. They are very unprofessional and only talk to one another.
The absolute worst! Went to get a mani & pedi and the woman was very hard to understand which is ok but then she kept going to someone else to interpret so it took forever. When I finally thought we had it figured out what I wanted to have done I thought we were all good it ended up being a joke. She forgot the parabin wax wrap on my feet - didn’t want to push back my cuticles to clip them, did a horrible job painting them - didn’t add any cuticle oil and was talking on her phone while massaging my arm with one hand. Even the customer next to me kept saying I’m sorry your girl is doing such a crappy job. I could not wait to get out fast enough.PS. The nail polish on my hands didn’t last one day! You could tell it was OLD polish that they used. Their color selection was horrible & most of it was cheap brand polish.NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN
Katelyn always does an amazing job!
I was not impressed with this salon. I went there based on the ratings listed below. I was seated right away by a friendly gentleman in the front and that was about the best thing that happened. I was taken care of by a lady and at first things were normal until she told me I had to buy my cleaning kit or she could not do my pedicure. I have never been anywhere and I have been to a lot of salons that make you buy the cleaning kit for 2 bucks. Okay I did it as to not hold up the pedicure. The whole time she talked to the lady on side of her. Never talked with me or asked me anything about the pedicure. She didnt scrub my feet well because she was not paying attention because of her conversation with the other tech. After she was done before she painted my toes she began to clean the bowl right under my legs and scrub it . I have never sat in a seat while someone cleaned they bowl they normally have waited until they were done with me. By the way when she cleaned it she half did that too because of talking with the other tech. When I mentioned to her that she should probably clean it once the customer was out of the chair she said to me no its okay.. So shocked and surprised by this response that I know that I will never go back there again. First time there and last time.
Spent $150+ here for the worst service I’ve ever had at a nail salon. There are SO many salons nearby, it’s a very competitive market to treat customers the way they do. I used to go here many years ago when they were small, and the service was so much better. Went back after many years of not going and was shocked at how rude the workers were. My girl “Mindy” was so annoyed that I didn’t want shellac. She must have asked me 5 times to get it, explaining why it’s so much better, etc. I politely declined, saying since I had acrylics I wouldn’t need shellac. I had a few others with me who were also getting manicures and pedicures. My pedicure lasted 10 minutes and she drained the water. Never worked on my heels, which is the basic for a pedicure. Everywhere else I go, they work on your heels. I was told it was extra so I said fine. But Mindy was put off because she had already brought the hot wax out. I was confused why she was putting wax on before my heels had been worked on. My 10 minute pedicure was just that. Another 2 workers continued to try to upsell us on shellac.. it went from $10 extra now down to $5. I was then told that shellac was so good for my nails..even though she knew I had acrylics on top.I came to relax and get my nails and toes done..felt like they were pestering me the entire time about it and had an attitude that I said no. My nail lady never said a single word to me. I tried to be nice and make conversation but she was silent. At one point she yanked my leg during my pedicure, the leg which I have just had a major knee injury to. They spoke in their language angrily and I know they were talking about us. She was also miffed that I was trying to decide on a color, she was so irritated. The pedicure and manicure was also not the greatest. No hand lotion or massage at all. Very short pedicure, in fact never have had such a lame pedicure. I wonder if the workers need to eat (hangry) or are overworked or pressured to upsell for money. The business just treats the clients like cattle..Rush in and out, all about money. My nails never dried even after an hour. The nail polish was tacky, and she used 3 coats plus top coat. They got messed up and I had to go to another place and pay even more money to have them repainted.I will not be returning to this salon. I’ll take my money elsewhere.
The only place I go to get my nails done, lily is amazing the only lady I trust to do a good job.

I have been coming to V & V for nearly 5 years. She was always been my technician. She does a wonderful job with my mani/pedi and is definitely 5 stars.
Everyone is very friendly. I get exactly what I want with Caitlin!
Made an appointment for a full set of nails, and when we arrived we were not in the book, and the lady who welcomed us did not understand what we were there for.She set us down with two nail techs and neither knew what we wanted. Language barrier problem. It was solved eventually, but then all employees were speaking another language and discussing full set and it was rather rude
