My parents 15 year old AC system failed (on the hottest week of the summer) and I called The Furnace Man along with several other local HVAC companies for quotes on a new AC system. The owner Johnny provided a quote and answered all my questions. His quote was the best value and his techs installed the system the next day which none of the other companies could do.Techs that installed the system were courteous and knowledgeable and were not annoyed by all my questions and watching them work.The new system runs great and installation looks neat and tidy. Would recommend them to others.

I used this company at the request of my home warranty. They never reached out to me and when I called, the woman was very sweet and apologized for needing to wait so long for a technician to come to check my unit out. When the technician came, he never told me his name and went about his business, looking at my unit. He informed me that my unit wasn’t even running and that he would contact me when he was back in the office to schedule a repair. After one week, I heard nothing so I reached out three times over the span of four days, in hopes someone would contact me but every time, I was only able to leave my contact information. Finally, I gave up and called another company. Ironically, my home warranty called me and stated that the company was requesting coverage for unreasonable things considering what my issue was. The other company I contacted also informed me that the technician was wrong and was able to get it fixed. I emailed Furnace Man to ask for a refund of my service fee and still have heard nothing back. I do not recommend this company at all.

Very responsive and willing to work with us to fix our problems. John, the owner, is very professional and knowledgeable. We have used them twice. Once to install a new furnace, and second to fix our AC when it was not working.

Update:Johnny the Owner contacted me today (6/4/21) via phone call to discuss the job work completed and offer suggestions to resolve the issue. The phone call was prompted by a filed complaint with the BBB and the BBB reaching out to the company directly. We (The owner and I) decided a FULL refund of 688.00 would be sufficient to close this complaint and resolve the issue. I understand things happen and issues arise and I am happy to report Johnny made the situation right and he is a stand-up business man and eventually will make things right which is truly refreshing to see in the HVAC industry. I had lost hope anything would be done to resolve the issue and it was good to see Johnny the Owner valued his reputation and wanted to make things right.Initial Situation:Back in January I was on a trip and home renovations were being completed at my home. During this time our thermostat line power was inadvertently cut and wife called me and reported there was no heat in the home and No power to anything. I told her to contact the repair man. They came out on an emergency only call to repair the work. During this time they repaired the line cut in the wall and had to re-connect power to air handler unit and heat pump. I returned home several weeks later and had forgotten that was done and in February we received an 800.00 heat bill. Knowing the insulation was not up to code we thought this might be the issue. So we paid 4200 to add all new insulation in the home. The next month the bill was much lower. Probably due to temperatures going up and new insulation in the home and the emergency heat not having to run full blast for weeks. Finally fast forward to April when I went to test my A/c unit and inspect to make sure it was ready for 80 degree weather that was right around the corner. I went to turn on A/C and find there is no power to unit outside. I HAD BEEN RUNNING ON EMERGENCY HEAT FOR MONTHS! I called a different company out to inspect and they found the power to heat pump was not connected inside air handler unit and neither was the ground wire. I paid them to reconnect the wires and they said due to the quality of workmanship I should contact whoever did the re-wire job to come and fix what they did and have it done correctly. There was wires hanging down, nothing tied off and inside the unit where all the wires connect into the control board looked like a rats nest. So I called The Furnace Man to come out to look at the repair that was completed back in January. The Technician arrived without a phone call prior which I had requested so I could secure my animals and then I was notified the technician who completed the work prior was no longer with the company, I cant imagine why? He did his best to repair the shoddy work and then went on his way. However, I am out the 800.00 utility bill and also the 100.00 I had to pay the other company to come and figure out why there is no power. Not to mention the emergency call out to re-wire was nearly 700.00. If I was you I would steer clear of this company for work and Im learning this A/C repair business industry is leaving much to be desired. Buyer beware!P.S. I was told the owner would call me regarding this issue and I never received a call.

We never even had a chance to use this business. Our HVAC broke, our warranty submitted a ticket to this business. We went a whole week without AC because they never contacted. Since the only way to get help was to switch companies we did, unfortunately were still waiting on replacement parts now that the inspection has been done. The parts wouldve already been in and our AC fixed if someone had cared enough just to make 1 phone call to schedule an appointment. Now my babies have to suffer another week or longer in a hot house. The only reason this business is even getting 1 star is because 0 is not an option.

This review is a couple weeks overdue but I’m glad to leave a positive review. Johnny, Teddy, and Chris went way above and beyond to install a brand new hot water heating system when my nearly 30 year old system went out. They did this the New Year holiday weekend and never left until it was working. Then when I had excessive air in the lines and got a fault code on my high Efficiency boiler, Johnny responded from a New Years party in a full suit and fixed the issue. I’ve been in construction my whole life now going on 30 years and this is the best customer service I’ve ever seen! Not only did they stay and ensure all issues were fixed, Johnny even took me and Teddy out for breakfast to give the unit a chance to cycle a few times and ensure no issues! I’m in the market for a new AC system in the next couple years and my business is going to the Furnace Man! Thanks to Johnny and Joanne for running such a good company and also thanks to Teddy, Chris and the rest of the crew for the outstanding work! You’ve got a faithful customer for life!

They diagnosed our broken fan motor and replaced it. The price was fair and reasonable based on the price of parts and labor. We had to wait a few days for the new part to be delivered, but I thought it was pretty fast anyway.

I use the Furnace Man anytime I have a problem with my HVAC. I have called them for residential and commercial service and their techs are the best. All around great interactions from setting up appointment to the repairs. Johnny is phenomenal and has saved me in a pinch more than once!!

I would give zero stars if it were an option. Horrible experience with this company. Submitted a service request with my home warranty company and they chose this company to provide services. An appointment was set up for a specific day and time that worked around my schedule. On the day of the appointment, Joanne called me 11 times over 5 minutes to try and reschedule my appointment to an earlier time the same day. I was on a conference call and could not answer the phone however each time she called it interrupted my work call. Needless to say I was furious bc that is unprofessional and inconsiderate. Call once, leave a message and that’s it! Do not call a customer a dozen times over a few minutes as you do not know why they cannot take your call. The appointment was at 11...I had the appointment set up at this time to again work around another conference call at 12:30...the guys showed up at 12:15...and I had to start my call while they were still here so I could not finish explaining to them the problem. The middle eastern tech walked into my house without even knocking and interrupted my conference call to tell me he was going to have the blower motor and fan blade replaced to my outside unit, collected his money and left. I did not get a receipt, or invoice of service and necessary repairs. A week went by and no word from the company to set up the repairs so I called my warranty company only to find out they had closed my claim without doing the repairs. I am furious!!! I had the warranty company even call them and they were unsuccessful in reaching them. I’ve left a message with the receptionist but have little faith that anyone will get back with me. I do not recommend this company whatsoever. This was by far the least professional conduct I have ever experienced with any home service company. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere for your HVAC services.

The Furnace Man went above and beyond to repair my broken furnace. After 8 days without heat (due entirely to a part that should have been delivered next-day), Joanne contacted an another supplier and had service techs to my house by 8:30 the next day! As it happens, the repair took more than the one “fix”; Johnny drove out and sent for more parts and the furnace was fixed that same day. Thank you, Joanne and Johnny! My family deeply appreciates your great service and hard efforts!!

First let me start by saying that I have had nothing but great experiences with this company PERIOD. I have used these guys for more than one home and nothing but top notch workmanship each time.These guys were very prompt & on time, as a matter of fact a little early which was great. Teddy & Chris installed inside & outside unit and kept the place clean while worked VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE .The owner Johnny went above and beyond to fit me in immediately the next day & gave me a fair price. I will be keeping them on speed dial for sure 👍.

The furnace man was hired by my warranty company to fix a condensation issue. They come out promptly, collected my $100 deductible to diagnose the system. They claimed they needed to order a new moisture sensor. Over two months later, they never responded. I called half a dozen times, left messages and no response. I contacted the warranty company, and they said the furnace man never entered a diagnosis for my system to preform any repairs. THEY ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT THE FURNACE MAN AND THEY DID NOT RESPOND. The warranty company sent a new HVAC company out who fixed the problem in less than a week. I was also warned that they do this to many customers, take your $100 and never return.Beware! AVOID!

Rude and dishonest. Had him repair AC/heat unit in May expecting new fan motor and parts. Replaced old unit with a used rescue motor and wrong size fan. Which was confirmed by a reputable company. They quoted 650 for same service. Fell apart within five months. Charged us $1,000 did not provide us an invoice.11/7/2019 update. The Furnace Man responded stating I wasnt a customer. I have a cancelled check to prove otherwise. He left no invoice detailing what was done or what parts were installed. He promised my wife he would get her one. I can see why now and why he blew my phone up when I informed him I was employing another company.who would expose his work., He replaced my fan motor with a used rescue motor and an undersized fan and charged her $1,000. See the second opinion by a reputable company attached.

The Furnace Man was able to come out to my house very quickly after placing my request for service. He showed up exactly at the specified time, and he was very polite, even nice to my dogs, which is a big deal to me. He was able to diagnose my issue as a clogged filter within minutes (embarrassing that I didnt catch that myself), but he still ran the full list of tests to make sure my air conditioning unit and furnace were in perfect working order. He did not charge me to replace anything unnecessary, and he gave me a quote and the option to clean my coil myself rather than paying to have it done. You have to appreciate that level of honesty and professionalism. I only paid for the trip out, no parts or service needed!

I was in dire straits with my AC breakdown, I had a home inspection in the morning and the AC went out the afternoon before. Johnny was able to fit me in and was able to repair my AC quickly. I needed a new furnace and it was installed the next day by the greatest 2 guys, Teddy and Chris. Both highly skilled and professional. Teddy went above and beyond by reconfiguring the gas lines, duct work in the closet, and the drain (AC) line. Beware of the Furnace man. I called the furnace man for an odd smell from my oil furnace. He came out and said there was a small fluid leak from an air vent. He said it would cost $1,100 to fix. He went on to suggest that to avoid future trouble I get a new furnace for between $11,000 to the Deluxe for $26,000. I replaced the vent with a new one from the local plumbing supply store. It cost about $50 and took about one hour. No professional should have charged more than $200. It has worked fine for months now. The smell is gone.The furnace mans response to the above review is completely untrue. We never called for a Tune Up. In addition, I watched the whole time he was there. He never replaced a nozzle or any other part on our machine. I have no incentive to make up any of this. Im just trying to keep others from being overcharged.

The Furnace Man saved our weekend this past weekend!!!!! On a very Hot Humid Saturday........To begin with he answered my call on the first attempt. We are so lucky he was available and at our home in 1 hour. He arrived with the parts needed to repair our AC and we were cooling down immediately❗️❗️❗️He assured us he would warrant his work if any further attention was needed! The original company whom installed my unit no longer was handling fuel oil and he was able to work on my fuel oil and fixed how loud it was since they originally put on a wrong part. Very happy with their service and honesty.

The reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star. To the 5 star reviewers that are legitimate, just wait. His “go to” response to complaints is that they were never customers or to call his office so as not to air it publicly. We have filed a complaint with the BBB and if we get no satisfaction, we will sue.RESPONSE to Mr. Constandinidis: That is a lot of words that don’t begin to explain why we were charged $1000 for a USED RESCUE motor and blades that were too far down in the unit and weren’t even attached correctly, therefore flying off. If you would like, I can attach photos of the motor, bent blades and the written assessment of what the subsequent contractor found. I never received an invoice, emailed or otherwise. Feel free to attach your proof that I did. So, because I scheduled you and was home when you did the “repair”, that means that my husband can’t speak with you about these issues? Why would we want you to do the warranty work when we were defrauded or misled at best?

We have used Furnace Man twice now and have signed up for annual maintenance. The first time was a cleaning/inspection of our old A/C unit - Ive had four different maintenance services over the 19 years weve had this unit and by far this was the most thorough. I also had them clean our air ducts for the first time, again very professional and thorough and very careful and clean throughout the process. I just signed up for a new service, Carbon Monoxide inspection and Im confident Ill get the same high level of service...at great prices too!

We have used the Furnace Man for 5+ years at a half-dozen properties, both commercial and residential. We have had everything from regular maintenance on brand new units to full replacement of industrial sized heat pumps. Pricing is always fair and Johny and his techs will always do anything they can to make sure were happy with the service and results. The techs are always courteous and professional. There is no one else Id trust my HVAC with, knowing Id have competitive pricing and service to back it up.

One of the most frustrating experiences I have ever been through. Purchased the air conditioner just over 2 months ago and Johnny and his crew have been out to my house on several occasions and I am still not comfortable in my own home. I am out more than $7000 and believe I could have been just as comfortable with window units at this point. Johnny is a firm believer in the idea that if you want your home cooler than 72 degrees than youre being outrageous because he will tell you thats what is typically considered comfortable as the reason for why my 1500sq ft house cannot be cooled less than that. Yes he comes out to your house 24/7 however I am not convinced he does anything or fixes anything while he is here.

Our furnace went out on Thursday the owner came out around 5pm found out the computer board went out pick the part on Friday and installed it. My experience was great. Thank you to the Furnace Man.

The guy that came out to the house was great he checked my furnace and made sure it was running properly he also showed me how dirty the motor was and explained to me the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning and showed me how to change my fliter and explained to me the importance of doing that every month... then he mentioned to me the duct cleaning and explained the difference it would make on the house and the furnace it self. We were able to make appointment the next day for the duct cleaning, And he pretty much saved my furnace. I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family....;)

When I called The Furnace Man and told them my AC unit was out and I needed a replacement, thet were by far the fastest and cheapest in town. I checked with many other companies and The Furnace Man beat all of them in price and in timing. When I explained to Johnny that my girlfriend had her wisdom teeth removed that morning and I didnt want her baking in my condo, he had the unit replaced the same afternoon. Had an appointment this evening for a furnace servicing estimate. Twenty minutes after the appointment window--nothing. No technician, no phone call. I called the office and was told they would look into where the technician was and call me back. One hour after the appointment window--nothing. I made an appointment with another service provider. Dont waste your time with this company.

I called the Furnace Man based on the positive reviews, but was still shocked by how great The Furnace Man was EVERY step of the way. Starting with friendly and down-to-Earth Sherry in the office getting someone out ASAP to look at my AC, to Johnny the owner showing up just a couple hours later and really trying to revive my old AC unit before giving me a really detailed list of options on a new system, to Teddy the installer doing just an excellent job THE VERY NEXT DAY, to Ray doing a complimentary follow-up appointment on our secondary AC unit the next day. Every single person I encountered at Furnace Man was a pleasure to deal with and I felt like Johnny wasnt just trying to sell me something I didnt need. He actually recommended the next to cheapest option for us because it will do the job.I cant recommend this company enough. Fast service, friendly and knowledgable, caring and professional. Gave options, finance options, an UNBELIEVABLE WARRANTY for peace of mind and they were out the next day and even fixed an issue unrelated to the problem I was paying them to fix FOR FREE! Should have checked here before I called. They try to sell you service you dont need, Johnny, the owner or service man is a joke. They over charged for the equipment and service - big time. Im not sure how much the mark up on the other parts were but after checking with another company, I got ripped off!I was told that there were some parts making noises that indicated they were getting ready to fail and needed replaced. After they were installed Johnny said, Now can you hear the difference? Not at all - no difference. Later that evening my furnace started making some noises that we didnt hear before it was fixed. I also felt Johnny was rude and acted very much like he didnt have time for any questions or how dare I question him.I ended up having to call another company to fix this mess. They told me the parts that were replaced in my furnace, that I was charged hundreds of dollars more than what they should of cost - like for $600 to much.Needless to say, I wont be calling them back for any repairs and will never call for any future problems. Stay away!

I will definitely be calling this company again !! Thank you furnace man for coming out to fix my boiler when no one else would !!! All I kept getting form the other companies was I had to replace it cant be fixed but thankfully that was not the case thank you furnace man !!!

I had a problem with my a/c tonight the furnace man showed up . Very professional Right on time late at night after 9:00 pm with no over time charge . Thank you sir great work my house is cool my familly very happy . Great work keep up the good work .

The furnace man heating and cooling came out to my house to give me an estimate on a complete system .he was very professional and answered all my questions and also gave me several options . this a company you can trust !!

A Thief plain and simple. He continued to try to push extra products and services during his visit. Didnt diagnosed the issue correctly, however he demanded that he knew what was best for my house. He even tried to belittle me trying to quiz me on heating and furnace installation techniques. While doing back and forth with him about the incorrect installation, the furnace had restarted 6 times within 20 minutes. I had to finally demand he remove the parts he installed and then remove himself from my house. After he left, he even had the nerve to send me a text with further insults.Called McAfee heating and air and within an hour had my problems fixed and been running fine since then.BEWARE - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! WILL NEVER USE AND NEVER RECOMMEND THIS THEIF!
