I needed a large oak removed in a hurry that fell in a storm. They did it very quickly, were responsive, came in at a better price than competitors, and there was no sign of the tree left. Awesome job, price, and speedy service. They were recommended by another tree service who didn’t have time to help that quickly.. so glad it worked out.

Southern Tree has done a number of jobs for us over the years. As a former contractor, I always appreciate the expenditure in equipment their service requires. . Their equipment is top notch. The crew is always polite and careful of our property and does their work quickly and efficiently. Their estimating is always quickly done and Ashley will give you the exact date the crew will be there to do the work. A few years ago, I had scheduled them to take down a large pine and forgot about the day they were scheduled. It was a few days before I even realized the job had been done, a testimony on how well they clean up!

Reliable and courteous! They return phone calls, show up on time and clean up the mess, leaving your place in perfect condition. My experience couldnt have been better!

We had three estimates and Southern Tree Services was price-competitive and provided the most service for the money. They also didnt try to oversell us (another service insisted two live trees needed to be removed, ca-ching!). Today, Southern Trees crew came out and did a fabulous job. They were meticulous and worked diligently to clear out the dead branches and vines that threatened to punch through our roof. The trees look great! And these guys were a pleasure to have on our property. They were extremely careful not to damage anything, and even blew off our roof and our porch and driveway when they were done. Im picky, but Id hire them again in a second.

WOW!!! What an awesome job! I hired Southern Tree Services to remove a huge dead oak tree from my mothers yard, remove a large hollow lead which was hanging directly over the house and to do some general pruning of another tree which was damaged by hurricane Matthew. Not only did they do a remarkable job at cutting and removing all of the debris, but they cleaned up almost as if they had never been there! They had to access most of the surrounding neighbors yards and didnt leave a trace of evidence or damages. Not only were my Mom and I impressed, but all of the neighbors were as well. They had done work for us in the past, so we knew they were the ones for us. This company is very professional, very efficient, and all at a reasonable price. If we ever need tree work again, we will be sure to call on Southern Tree Services of Beaufort.

Had Southern tree give a bid to remove a water oak and grind stump, was quoted $750. Next day received an email from their office, priced changed to $885 with no explanation.

I am unclear on previous reviews. They may cut trees well but very, very rude employees. Maybe other reviews had different workers.
