We had a few people come out to give estimates for tree work on our new home. It was new construction and I knew the construction vehicles damaged the roots of existing trees. Only Bartlett Tree was able to address this issue. All services offered tree removal (one of our trees was in serious trouble) and pruning. Bartlett prices were competitive for removal and pruning with those companies. The cost to condition the soil and provide special fertilization (based upon a full soil analysis, not just guessing) was pricey but we believe, very much worth it. They also added 5-6of compost (which was incorporated into the soil during conditioning using air pressure) which also was not offered by other companies. The trees are showing great vigor and health. We were very impressed with Paul, the certified arborist, who was very attentive, patient and knowledgeable! I had so many questions for him, and he always responded promptly. The entire crew was also remarkable. All were very professional and polite. They did an awesome job pruning the live and laurel oaks. Everything was completely cleaned up before they left. Ive also reached out to Paul regarding insects that I dont know (we moved from the NE so many weve never seen!) and he always answered my questions. We strongly recommend Bartlett!

After I had 6 other local Beufort/Port Royal Tree Service companies come out and give me an estimate. I knewthe moment Paul the Arborist from Bartlet showed up I was dealing with the right one. I explained what I needed done and Paul went into detail about what they were going to do and how they were going to do it and when they were going to do it and how much it was going to cost me. Also he told me more about Live Oaks than I ever knew. The tree crew showed up 10 minutes early which to me being Military Retired is On Time. They were on site approx 3.5 hours and I never saw anyone just standing around unlike other companies Ive seen in my neighborhood doing work. My yard was cleaner than before they started when they left also. Bartlett was not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Glad I picked them. GREAT, PAINLESS EXPERIENCE.

They have greatly improved our property thru tree trimming and care for our Gardenias.

We were told Bartlett was good but they went way beyond good. Our young Live Oak now looks like a beautiful tree, and the transplanted Live Oak was handled with amazing care. The job site was left cleaner than when they arrived and and the men could not have been friendlier or more willing to do a great job.

The guys showed up on time and were so quiet they didnt wake the dog even though they had a big truck and telescoping bucket...I am very happy with their work! The bushes and trees were starting to look like something out of Sleeping Beauty where the forest closed in around the sleeping beauty....so now I have more light on my front porch and the magnolia tree that was growing up inside the canopy of the Live Oak has some light on it and pops out....a shrub that had grown to be about 16ft tall such that you couldnt even see the trunk of the Live Oak behind it...now the shrub is 4.5 ft tall and looks perfect next to the Live Oak. Ive been using Bartlett tree for decades at our former house in Portland, Maine so they were my Go-To tree help here in Beaufort!!

Excellent advice and guidance in preparing for the Hurricane season from a licensed arborist. Cutting/Trimming crew very professional and efficient. Left property cleaner than they found it.

Lack of professionalism.You call to make an apointment.They send an email confirming the apointment.When that date comes they dont show.When you call them to find out what happened. They say that they waited by the gate.But they never bother to call you to let you know They are there.

After receiving a consult by Derrick Wells who viewed the tree, the actual workers removing the tree would not do so on the day of the job. Meanwhile huge inconvenience to be there and make arrangement for tree to be removed! I was told by Mr Wells that there are other tree companies in the area .So save time and dont calls these idiots !
