After reading the reviews for this salon I knew I had to go there. Olga was lovely and she and Patrick were able to get me in ASAP which I loved as I was desperate for a cut/new look. Patrick was a gem! Kind, funny and most importantly honest. He told me his recommendations when I asked his opinion rather than just agree with me, which I loved! Not only did he give me exactly what I was looking for but he modified it for my hair type. More importantly he made me feel welcomed and secure with a large chop (I cut about 4 inches off). My new cut and color has all my friends and family telling me this is the best they have ever seen me! I highly recommend this salon, Olga and Patrick. I will absolutely be returning and hope to become a regular client.

UPDATE Nov 2017: I have been going to Sonalia for several months now and service continues to be perfect from Olga. Things have changed a little, Patrick was fired, thank god, he was an ass. Its so much more quiet now you can actually have a normal conversation and relax. Everyone is in a great mood and Olga makes you feel so good when shes taking care of you. I always look forward to my visits.Im new to the area but looking at Google then Yelp I found this salon due to all the 5 star reviews. Given its so hard to find a good stylist, I had to give it a try and see if it was for real. I made an appointment with Olga, I had no idea she was the owner and she was so wonderful and helpful. We talked for a good 20 minutes about what I would have done at my old salon, and we discussed my color and cut and ways to change it up and make it more fresh looking. She really knows her business, she did exactly what she said she would do, no surprises. I have gotten so so many compliments!, my husband loved it the second I walked in the house! I already made a new appointment to get my nails done, she does it the European way, and her work is so perfect, just look at her nails and you know. She mentioned they do Spa treatments too. I have been to many hair salons in my lifetime, but Sonalia hair salon is the best in its service. The owners are very skilled and talented. They can work well with any hair type. The most important thing is that they listen to you, but are not afraid to give you professional advice. Its a clean, friendly and well maintained salon with a lot to offer to everyone. Great Salon! Great customer service. Olga is super knowledgable on hair, nails, and hair removal. You can ask her anything! She gave me lots of great tips on how to keep my hair and cuticles nourished. My gel nails lasted 2 weeks and looked great!! My hair cut was perfect too. Will definitely be going back to get my gel nails done and hair!!

Gary does fabulous massage, with hot stones, and tools I have ever seen or feel before, can be 100% relaxed after massage, his hands are amazing, he does also shaving and my hair cuts. I grew up in LA, Lived everywhere, his hands are totally different then anyone else in my life whoever cut my hair, will never go anywhere, and his wife is a very nice girl, she does my wifes hair, highlights, manicure, pedicure, eye brow, facial........, We appreciate your hard working job, we love you, thanks God we found you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM MY WHOLE FAMILY (kids and grandparents included). Nice to even speak with highly educated people .

PATRICK IS A MASTER. Came in for the first time needing some major repair from a perm gone bad, and I thought it would have needed multiple cuts in order to be fixed. No fancy tips or tricks are needed, his no nonsense expert training and experience truly leaves him a stylist, cut, and color worker that is bar none of the best. Olga was amazing, however her fellow coworker nataile was unprofessional, she rudely dismissed our reservations and told us to go find a close salon near by...for what? Her charges are outragous, and not worth it at all. My friend requested not to flat iron, and she went ahead and did so, sloppy and charged her for it. However olga was awesome.

I love this salon and the people! I needed my hair done for a wedding, and I needed it to be excellent! I had my hair done in a very fancy up-duo and Narine did a fabulous job! It lasted for over 24 hours!!!! How many hair stylists do you know that can do that? I have never had a hair stylist that could actually do what they say they can. I am absolutely blown away, I will recommend everyone to go to this hair salon. Not only is the service amazing, but they as people are one of the most loving and generous group of people I have ever met. God bless you guys! I have been going to fancy salons for the last many years and many of them are big names in the Cleveland area. My most recent hair cut and hair color was a disaster and I spent almost $300, not to mention $40 additional tips. I was a loyal customer to that salon for the last 3 years and felt tricked when the stylist experimented on me with the new hair color and even made it worse by saying, OMG!! !its so beautiful at least 100 times. Now I recall how other customers were rolling their eyes because they could see that she was deceiving me with these exaggerated complements. It was time for me to start looking elsewhere.I was surprised to read amazing reviews of SonaLia and wondered how much of it was actually true. How can anyone get 5/5 from 38 reviews. I have never seen 100% customer satisfaction for anything in this world. So I decided to go to Olgas Salon, SonaLia. I was greeted with a never seen before sincere hospitality and was assigned to Patrick for the haircut. He instantly looked at my color and in a rational scientific manner, he showed me the errors made by the previous stylist. He understood the difficulties in coloring Indian hair due to the pigment composition. Within 10 minutes, he came up with a toner that he had created and my hair looked amazing within 20 minutes. He then showed me the flaws in the layering created by the previous stylist . I instantly knew that I was talking to someone who has a passion for this job and takes pride in his work.I 100% recommend Patrick and SonaLia for all your hair cut and styling and coloring needs because it truly brings amazing results and we get value for our money.

My first experience here - so refreshing to work with Patrick! So patient and understanding, I was nervous and indecisive, but he really took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted! Not easy to turn jet black Asian hair to super blonde, but my color and cut was perfect! He even stayed open an extra hour to make sure it was done right on a Saturday night

She is also very nice about working me into her schedule even at the last minute, and sends appt reminders, which I appreciate. I just had my first ever facial here, and I cannot rave enough about what a fabulous experience it was! I had no idea what facials were all about but after reading reviews of Sonalia I knew I wanted to have one here. All I can think is, WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?! Olga is AMAZING. She is absolutely phenomenal at what she does, and on top of it she is incredibly kind and sweet (and pretty, not to be creepy but its true!). If you are self conscious about your skin, dont even worry, because there is no criticism here- just relaxation and maybe a tip or two on your way out the door! I am honestly devastated that I am moving for school after discovering this magical place, but you can bet Ill be back here over every holiday! I feel like a new (younger and happier) woman! Ask for Olga, get your facial here, but be careful you may become addicted!

I lived in LA, Phoenix, and Cleveland been to many many hair salons and they have nothing on this place. Extremely professional, very very clean amazing atmosphere, they have instant coffee, tea, cappuccino for you to enjoy while you are waiting in line on top of that the pricing and the service I received from Sonalia Hair Salon was beyond amazing, High end locations in LA didnt have service like this. I recommend everyone to go here, you must at least give them a try, I promise you your gonna love it..

The 2nd and 3rd rounds, Patrick did a phenomenal job, especially with my type of hair: Asian hair! Believe me when I say that I am really picky with stylists who touch my hair due to horrible cuts and color I have had before.Patrick is honest and fortright with his suggestions. He will suggest what would work/not work- a compromise between technicality and creativity. Had a very great experience in Sonalia. I was hesitant to try new hair salons because I have typical thick Asian hair. Patrick was very professional and patient.. and he actually has lots of experience on cutting Asian hair...He talked with me about the style Id like to have and made kind suggestions. It took around two hours to finish the haircut, coloring and highlights. During the time, he constantly explained to me what hes going to do and asked if I like it or not... at the end, we tried a hair style that Ive never had before and it turned out surprisingly nice! I highly recommend this salon and Patrick.

Patrick is very friendly and did an amazing job doing balayage on my hair. The colors in my hair were very well blended. Definitely go to Sonalia for all your hair and nail needs, you wont be disappointed.

Patrick did an amazing job with my blonde bayalage. I started with dyed medium brown hair and ended with the perfect blend leading to light ash blonde. Olga did my cut and gave me my favorite style of my life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ive tried many salons in NE Ohio, this is the only one I will go back to.

I loved the salon :) got my hair done balayage by the young man their. He went above and beyond and even curled my hair afterwards. I got balayage, a trim, a hair mask, and he gave a bonus of curling my hair free of charge. He took his time and did a wonderful job! Planning on going back soon. The pricing is alright but well worth it. 127$ for all of that
