I love the owner! Hes always so helpful and knowledgeable! I went there with a huge problem in 2012 from visiting other people house who didnt take care of their dogs and fleas were everywhere in my car and made it into my home which was a HUGE health scare being Im allergic to insects. He sold me some powder and spray! Best $80 Ive ever spent and in less than a week everybody was cleared out of my home and car! That was cheaper than my medical bills lord! I tell everyone who is having insect issues about his store. He also takes the time to tell you about the products and how to use them! Awesome guy! 🙂

Prices were completely redicuios!! Found another place in town that was 20 dollars cheaper on the same product and much friendlier!

I’m no rocket scientist, but after spending 20 minutes online trying to find products to purchase on their website, I finally gave up. I even had my wife give it a try. Thought I was going crazy. Why would they have a website and not offer me the ability to purchase their products.

Outstanding customer service. They go above and beyond for the their customers. I watched for 20 minutes as the sales associate gave another customer valuable information on their pest problems. Very impressive

This guy knows his stuff. I would highly recommend going there in person and taking some time to learn and take notes on any subject related to pest control. The prices on products are much higher than you will find on the internet, but its worth the education that you leave with. Just make sure and learn it the first time ;)

Always been very helpful and their stuff works

The salesman definitely pitched for a sale of the highest price, which I could not afford, so I asked for a smaller bottle; he immediately turned sarcastic. Then I asked for another kind of product and asked about animal safety and he quickly gave his spill on the safety and began another sales pitch. After he spoke, I was really wanting to be reassured of pet safety he said well now, you have about worn me out with this safety speech and if its safe for a baby to lie on a bed with it and a dog to lick it, I believe it should be good for cats. Really? Here is a person who is about to spend $250 in your store and you are gonna speak to them in this manner? No doubt I WILL NEVER RETURN and NEVER RECOMMEND anyone to shop there. I wonder how he keeps any customers at all.

Just as another buyer has stated; products are well over priced, I just spent $75 dollars on a product I see online for $25. I understand having an upcharge to make a profit; but $50 is ridiculous. And I think they have a no refund policy at that.

I went there a while back and the guy in the store was very rude, I bought the products anyways that he suggested and a week later a friend told me there is a store in Central that sells the same products for way cheaper, I went by that store and realized I had payed 35 dollars more for the exact same product! I feel ripped off!!!!!!

I gave it one star only because I had to in order to post my comment.I called them to get information about spraying for termites that includes something to treat mold. This was in August after my house was flooded and I wanted to treat the 2 X 4 s before putting up the sheet rock.In my conversation I asked how many square feet did a gallon cover and he told me that he could tell me but I would not understand! When I told him to give me a try, he said the same thing again. At that point, I told him he did not have to be rude and I needed to know how much to purchase. He said he was too busy to help me :-(Needless to say, I will NEVER use them and recommend that they need someone to review the staff! Very poor customer.

Pushy Pat covers his back.Back in the day I always bought my pest control products from here bc you couldnt buy some of the products online like you can today.Shame on them for taking advantage of people who are physically and mentally exhausted from fighting bedbugs and charging MORE THAN DOUBLE for their products AND LYING about how far the products will go Oh, this will do 2 homes and only take 1 day in reality it did less than half ( ordered more online for $39 vs$89) and maybe 1 day for an EMPTY HOUSE.The small sprayer we bought broke the FIRST DAY! _ sorry NO RETURNS.I do like supporting local business but not like this. Pestop, you had a chance to really help out people ( bedbugs are worse than divorce! said my sister). Everyone I talk to whos had those blood sucking spawns of Satan, their faces fall and say its the worse thing thats ever happened.Pestop, you are Pestbottom, just like the bedbugs, you no longer have my business and I will spread the word about my experience.

I live in a townhome and the neighbors and I have been having problems with rats in the attics. Weve been told to throw bait up there and set traps. So I called this place to get some info on what to do/buy. The guy who answered who was the salesman and Im fairly certain the owner, was so rude!! I was asking him questions about getting rat bait, and if theyd die in the attic, and do they usually come back like I heard, etc, and every one of his responses was arrogant, snarky, and sarcastic. Things like, I dont know, next time I see a rat, Ill ask him. He wasnt trying to be funny, he was being condescending. And I didnt appreciate it. This is a serious matter to my neighbors and me, and were not the type ppl to know much about wildlife or killing rodents, so I wouldve hoped this guy, being in the business, would be helpful, understanding, and reassuring. Not belittling and smart-assy! Especially if HES the owner!!When I considered writing a review, I ended up reading OTHER reviews first and dang if many others didnt say the same thing - how rude the owner was to THEM!! I try to give ppl the benefit of the doubt and think maybe they were rude cuz they were just having a bad day, or I misinterpreted, etc, but now I realize, he wasnt just rude to ME, hes a rude PERSON!! And with customer service like that, Id rather spend my money elsewhere! Which is exactly what I did!He needs to be more respectful towards customers - or lose business!

Pushy sales representative here, do your own research and dont spend double what a product is worth. They dont take returns for any reason. All products here can be purchased elsewhere for less than half of what Pestop charges. Do yourself a favor and check the outrageous prices. I needed a good product for ants, the owner told me I needed his product SUSPEND for $85.00, I told him I could get D-Fense for $40.00 on Amazon, he told me D-Fense was junk and a gimmick offbrand that doesnt work. Did my research, D-Fense has the exact ingredients that he sells.

Love the stuff they have for getting rid of pests. Same atiff you pay a fortune for.

My wife and I were living in a family cabin on property right North of Baton Rouge when we were eventually attacked by every species of bug native to Louisiana. Spider bites when we woke up in the morning, moths, roaches, mice, etc, etc, etc. We struggled with half-assed solutions from the one and only Home Depot and Lowes... Unfortunately, the subpar treatments that those monkey money machines offer dont hold a stick against Pestops solutions. The bug problem boiled down to bird mites. We would go to sleep, not itching very much, then wake up itching with bites all over us. Tested sheets at LSU, badda bing, mites. I called literally ever pest company in town and they were ALL either hesitant or didnt offer any treatment for mites. I was quoted $1,200 for one treatment of the cabin in West Feliciana. Sounded expensive to me being the DYI type. Well, I found this business through my relative that works at the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. It was the perfect solution. I dropped into the business and the nice gentleman was on the way out to the bank, but realized I was in dire need of solving my small families pest problem. He took 20-30 minutes explaining when to treat, how to treat, and what the heck kind of fire power Id need to take all these nasty little flesh eating mites to the grave. I paid $230 for three different chemicals and a large mouse trap that would burn them from the inside out. Yea, nasty business, but someones got to do it. It only took one treatment to resolve the problem. The service was great, the solutions were affordable, and the information was extremely helpful. I cant say enough about this place and Im 100% surprised this is their first review. Thanks for all the help Pestop!
