Best nail salon in Kentucky.. the people who gripe and complain are also the ones who are not Clear to the nail tech to start with.. I’ve always tipped well and I’m always nice.. I’ve never had a bad service in the entire 5 years I’ve been going.. I would definitely recommend The Nail Spa.

Manicure and pedicure were great. My only problem was they charged me full price for my 9 year old daughter.

They are fast always. Sometimes I have had minor things off with my acrylics, such as a crooked nail or lumpy/uneven nails. Overall pretty good.

Every time I get dip powder polish they mess up the color and I have to stay another hour.They are rude and change their prices from the sign and what they tell you before they start.I’ve been here numerous times because they’re open on Sunday and I’ve had it after my wedding manicure was messed up and they charged me $15 more than the price they told me.It’s constantly a problem and I’m done.Go somewhere else!

Absolutely terrible! Not worth the money. Made appointments for my sister and I to both get pedicures and for me to also get the dip polish Manicure. Definitely not worth it. They were busy so the nail techs were rushing and in a hurry. They didnt even soak my hands or trim my cuticles!! Basically, all I got was a really expensive terrible Dip polish. The lines for the colored tips are uneven and messy. I tried to express my dissatisfaction, however, the language barrier just made it that more frustrating. $165 dollars... So not worth it!

Too much for what you get. I had a gel pedicure and it lasted for a half hour since the guy rushed through it and then charges me $60 for it. Would have happily paid the money if I wouldn’t have been rushed.

The staff was friendly but since it was so busy it seemed more important to turn the chair over than take time to do a good job. There is so much acrylic stuck to my finger, ripping my skin. I was cut several times. The nail tech said she could not do what I asked but her husband could. I would’ve waited for him but instead suggested an alternative that they seemed annoyed about. The wait was very long as they were very understaffed. I appreciate their hard work but I don’t believe I will be back.

My step daughter waited 2 hrs bc the lady in front of her kept changing her mind after the nail tech would paint them. This happened THREE times. Yeah I kid you not. Had I been there I would have said something but her dad took her so they just walked out.

“Ouch!”I never like to leave bad reviews, but really this place was rude from the moment I walked in. There are signs everywhere to sign in but there’s no book- just a ticket you pull from a roll with numbers they don’t call or chronologically follow.I called to make an appointment over the phone, they said I had to walk in and see. I waited about 30 minutes which, after trying 4 other places in the area, wasn’t that long of a wait.The nail tech went HAM on my nails with the buffer, file and grinder. Made me bleed on several fingers. My one finger throbs so bad under the nail I’m afraid it might have gotten infected.Proceed cautiously.

Everyone there was nice but the quality was not so much. When the woman started and after the first nail I let her know that the color was too dark and I wouldLike a much lighter color. She replied, “no it’s light”. I said ok thinking it was just how it looked at first. Further into it she asked if I liked the color and I told her no and that it was too dark. She nodded and said, “ok, light”. Never changed the color. When I went to pay she told me it was $40. Then brought back my card and charged $41. I asked about leaving a tip and she said she would have to run my card again. I never had to do this before and it did not seem right.Needless to say I will not be going back.

I’ve lived in LA and NYC and I’ve never actually ended up with what I ask for via picture. Let’s just say Eric is the best nail artist I’ve encountered. NAILS SLAYED! Also got a pedicure, super relaxing and even though I don’t get gel on my toes I don’t experience any chipping for weeks. Reasonably priced, clean and COVID precautions taken seriously. Don’t go anywhere else in Bardstown or even Louisville!

Update after really looking at my nails. Not sure if this guy was new, or just in a big hurry. Wish I remembered his name. My nails arent even sized right. My real nails are obvious if you look closely. I think Ill try somewhere else when its time for a fill in

All employees had masks on, asked us to wash hands and had shields at each station. Some may say its overbearing but I was glad they were taking precautions and saw me quickly even still. Id rather be safe than sorry. Was a great experience

Anna did an amazing job fixing the horrible job another nail place did. I was so upset and she made me cry tears of joy with how pretty my nails turned out. Will never go anywhere else!

Was seen quickly but the whole time the girl was on the phone and passing the phone to boyfriend. He had a customer as well. My nails looked horrible after leaving and a week later need to be redone. Will never go back and worth waiting for my normal place in Mt. Washington.

Totally waste of time!I told the tech Inwanted the platinum pedicure... I got a basic, a rushed basic at that!I told her again I wanted the platinum and was ignored.The basic wasnt even worth it. I am now looking for another nail salon that will actually do what is requested by their patron. $25 down the drain... literally!

Super nice and great place. I walked into this place with a messed up toenail. After a bunch of attempts from different nail salons, my slight ingrown went from a minor problem to a medical problem. I needed relief immediately, though. I walked in and everyone working there was so nice and helpful. They were able to alleviate the super butchered ingrown toenail. THANK YOU ALL SOOO MUCH. I CAN FINALLY STAND WITHOUT PAIN. super knowledgeable and experienced technicians. I do trust them with nail care. And also...GREAT PRICING.

Do not come if worried about COVID..every chair filled and waiting area overfill since they kept letting walk-ins come in. The only make in the place did my pedicure..dont get him! He kept looking at front door areaa not my feet. Barely touched them. Were good before COVID but lost respect after how they try to rush and cram as many people possible in there☹️

Love this place as always. I dont get to pamper myself often but these lovely people always make me feel welcome. They ask how my children are and how much longer Ill be in school. They are very personable people. My feet feel wonderful and there is always a massive variety of polish types and colors. They even catered to my squirming 2 yr old daughter. It was a great experience.

I got gel nails. As far as the massage there wasnt one. I got a small squirt of lotion and was told to rub it in myself. When they trimmed my cuticles they went to deep and cut me so it bled. My nails had bubbles in them. I didnt notice until I was out in good light. My pedicure was a bit better but they didnt get my feet smooth and my nails arent even. Again my nails were cut into the quick. I will not go back. Ever.

They did terrible! My nails were jagged, uneven, and painted horribly. Not one of my nails are the same length as the other one. I had to go home and file my nails so they looked some what decent. 0/10, I strongly recommend that you do not go here.

I love this place they done a great job on my nails and they done it without hesitation your nails stay on for a long time and do not chip or break which is a great thing and they give you 7 days if something happens they fix it for free

Nails dont last, they always come up at the bottom of my finger. I have been getting my nails done for years and never have had have this problem. Will not be returning.

I come in here often because it’s close to my house and there’s not usually a long wait. But I won’t come back. My 12 year old daughter and I were both treated very rudely, the lady that did my daughters acted like it was such an inconvenience to have to do a design on her, then she kept asking if someone was going to pay for her nails when I was right there. I was getting my acrylics removed- and the man didn’t even soak them he just started ripping them off, and also kept reminding what the cost of ours would be. I’ve always paid- and tipped them well, but I won’t again. I would rather drive to Louisville or etown than to go back in there.

Just left there and my nails look absolutely horrible. The edges are sharp. Never once was asked what shape of nail I wanted. The sides arent even painted. Already looks like I need a fill in and the glitter isnt even coated correctly. Absolutely horrible experience. Didnt even ask for them to be fixed Because they look so bad. DO NOT RECOMMEND

THIS PLACE IS SO BAD!!!! Omg where do I begin they will tell u one price then end up jacking it up, the guy that did my toes and nail didn’t even take all the paint of my toes and nails and jus painted straight over it then when I asked the lady why my friends nails and toe were 75 becuz they told up 50 at the beginning she caused the worst seen and told some guy that worked there that I said I wasn’t gonna pay when there entire place had never heard those words come out of my mouth so I corrected her and said I never said I jus wanted a brake down of whys costed that when we was told something different and she said cuz she needed a manicure so we added that to!!! WTF... I have never had issues any issues anywhere else like this f***** crazy!!! Horrible people!!

Didnt even notice till I got home last night that two of my nails on each hand are different sizes and look noticeable, very nice lady but I wont be going back.

They do good pedicures but they are not very friendly and they are charging extra for such things as removing dead skin if the bottom of your feet. I thought that was part of a pedicure!

Unfriendly. Asked for a fill and a slight trim, they cut them SHORT. Asked for scquoval shape, 3 nails are slanted, 2 are oval, and the rest are square. After asking 3 different times to correct the shape, it was obvious this nail tech was not going to shape them correctly. I am also sure a toddler could polish them better. Will go somewhere else to be over charged. Not worth the time nor the money.

Went in today to get a fill in. The person who did my nails burned me three times and made me bleed twice. The price was absolutely ridiculous for a fill in, $35. I will not be going back.

Myself and my 9 year old daughter went to nail spa on a Sunday to get a mani/pedi. The young girl who did my daughters nails could not have been more rude to her. Jerking her feet in and out of the water and pulling her fingers straight. If myself or my daughter ask her a question or tried to have small talk she would answer rudely and not talk. My daughter said she was scared to move!Plus it must have been bring your kid to work day. There was a young boy and girl who ran all over the place being loud and dragging toys around, and a girl riding a hover board through the shop continuously, and the place so full people were standing waiting their turn Dont get me wrong, I love kids, I have 3 young children myself and theyre kids were all darling children, but when I go to get a mani/pedi Im there to relax. I stayed stressed due to all the comotion and noise going on. I think that is so unproffesional to have all those kids there like that.IF I ever go back it will definitely be because it was my last resort, and I will make sure I dont get the girl who did my daughters again!
