I dont recommend this shop. Their estimate $4400 became the most the insurance company would offer us for a total wreck.

We dropped the car off and while it took longer than Id hoped, Kris was professional and courteous. I got a little inpatient Kris was understanding and apologetic. They did great work and we took it to Moodys because of their reputation for excellence. They did not disappoint. Very client friendly.

Everyone was friendly and helpful! The overall experience was smooth and seamless because they all worked toward the same goals!

The office/waiting area is a nice layout...Excellent layout of the garage/repair area.The staff friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant, happy to assist..Proper equipment to repair the modern vehicle..I even had the pleasure of meeting the New owner.....Happy demeanor, very knowledgeable and well spoken.From All that I saw I would definitely use their services for collision repairs.

Being new to Bangor, Maine I was a little nervous to get my car fixed by anyone. Glidden Auto Body did an amazing job with not only my car but with making me feel 100% comfortable giving the keys to them. This was the fastest service I have ever received (Ive had my car fixed three times). Only took them a day. Not only did they fix it the way I wanted it but they also cleaned the inside and out of my car. Really impressed.

No one wants to help. They dont want to be bothered if youve already gotten an estimate and they still need all your personal information even if you dont get an estimate. Avoid this place at all costs

Glidden Auto Body did an excellent job on my car. My daughter had my car in Orono and got into an accident. Being from Portland I wasnt familiar with this business. They were very professional and helpful and got my car fixed on MY schedule. They worked hard to meet my needs and I am forever grateful for the excellent job and workmanship.

We have used this shop many times. Always have been completely satisfied. Thus last job, they cleaned the inside of our vehicle so well that I had to.make sure it was the same vehicle. They will always be our first choice for body repair.

Im not impressed with their quality of work. Hood is still misaligned. A plastic insert is not clipped on properly. I also have to take it in again which is another hassle.Would I recommend? Possibly. They do offer a lifetime guarantee on their work so it balances out. However, it is an inconvenience to come in again and have the work redone.

The work they do is great, but they stole the iPod I left in the glove box. That iPod never left the car and when I got the car back the cords were there but the iPod wasnt. So make sure not to leave valuables in your car (I learned the hard way).

POOR Customer Service. Would NOT Give a Written estimate to us unless they were going to do the work. They told us this after we waited 20 minutes for someone to look the vehicle and we started to ask at questions and VERIFIED that we was getting a written estimate. We told Oh no we do not give customer a written estimate unless we are fixing the vehicle. We will not recommend Glidden to anyone.

Body work is second to none. Front desk and service writer communication is horrible. They promise to call and never do. They tell you 3-4 days ... plan on 6-7 days. It never used to be this way. Im sorry it has gone down hill so much.

Just had my car deemed as totalled from a very minor accident. Whoever looked the car over listed off parts it didnt even need repaired, I put the vehicle on a lift to personally inspect it, along with another auto body tech. Gliddens listed off over $9,000 worth of repairs, and tried to say that most of the cost was from just parts alone. But knowing what i know about auto body and collision repair, it was an extreme over estimate. Will not even consider doing any kind of business with this company again, and suggest you do the same as they are a massive ripoff.

Dreadful experience. I was all set to get a mirror replaced at the price that was quoted to me. ONE hour before my appointment, Peggi calls me and tells me the price had jumped up by 300 hundred dollars. Peggi was very unprofessional and cold to work with. ZERO personality. i cannot recommend this place at all.

The place is very poorly organized, the general operations are very poorly managed, there are way to many people in supervising potions that constantly try over stepping each other which slows down the progress that could be made. The owner/operator often puts his needs before customers as if he doesnt seem to care for the customers, hes very negative behind customers backs with very unprofessional degrading comments. He has pretty significant issue with discrimination and retaliation towards both employees and customers. He shows favoritism towards the employees that go out of their way to make him happy with his corrupt ways, and the employees that try to stand up for whats right he retaliates against in every way he possible can which would explain why the Federal Government is currently taking legal actions against him.

My fathers car needed a lot of work to the front end after he had an accident in Bangor.I had his car towed to Gliddens. They did a great job on it and even let me store it for several months until I was able to get it shipped to Florida.It turned out to be a good experience, because of the great service from this shop and all the professionals employed there.Thanks Brent and all the good people at Gliddens in Bangor, ME.!

Fixed my car up nicely

The work was great, but not done on time, and the customer service was horrible.My car was hit on November 6th, and Glidden said that it would be fully repaired by November 17th. Because the other driver was uninsured, I was out the cost of a rental car. This was fine- a little over a week was manageable.On November 16th, we were told that it wouldnt be ready on the 17th, but early the following week. So, the week starts and we hear nothing. Then on Tuesday we get a call saying, no it wont actually be done this week either- holiday week so no one works from Wednesday through the weekend. Now I am two plus weeks out of pocket for the rental, and no finalized end date in sight.Finally, we are told that it will be done December 1st. On November 30th, we get an email that the car will be done early (by 4pm on the 30th). We call to see if this is actually true and are told to disregard all emails, and no the car isnt done. So when do we get the call that the car is done? At 4:28PM on November 30th- 2 minutes before closing time.When I picked up the car on the morning of December 1st, there were no managers on duty to talk to. Someone did call me at about 4PM that evening, and she was belligerent and rude. She stated that all the emails that we were receiving should have been disregarded as false- why send them in the first place then? She also told me that it was my fault for having poor insurance that I had to pay for the rental car- I actually have great insurance, but when an uninsured driver hits you, its a different ballgame. She said that Glidden had done nothing wrong, and it wasnt their fault that they were slow and could not meet expected times.All I wanted from Glidden was an apology about how long it took to fix the car, and perhaps a check to cover the extra time with the rental. What I got was yelled at, and that isnt great customer service. I will never do business with them again.

Truck was there for 3 weeks and performed very poor work on my truck. Broke my window and left all the glass in the bottom of door, truck was in the sun and can still see were they uses body filler and sand paper scratches everywhere. Very poor quality work will never go there again.

Stopped in for an estimate, was told that they dont do rust repair so I asked about replacing the fenders. I filled out a form. They looked at it, took pictures and told me they would email two estimates the next day..Over three months later no estimates.

They dont have time for you or your car. Doesnt even matter if you have a $2000 insurance check. Very snobby and act like they dont need your business. I went elsewhere.
