I liked the place a lot but I was disappointed in one aspect as I am international traveler coming to Baltimore only for 6 weeks, I couldnt apply for the membership online for one month, I went to the gym on Monday yesterday so I can pay with the credit card the classic membership which supposed to be 10$, they couldnt help me to pay with the credit card for the 1 month and told me that I can pay only for a day pass that in my understanding costs 1$, instead I found mystery payed 20 $ nearly pf membership so why couldnt they make me pay for month in the first place.Regarding the gym it is clean comfortable, great for training, showers need space to change in same cabin.I hope a manager could solve my problem.

I always exercise in this gym. The personnel makes sure every equipment are sterilized. You see their concern to those peoples welfare. I appreciate that.

It serves well as a gym. If you know Planet Fitness, you know its mostly cardio or weight machines, so you wont find a huge loose weight lifting area. Bathrooms are clean and theyre making sure it is safe to work out. My only gripe is the non-existent parking situation. We have to walk nearly two miles to get there to not pay a lot of money to park nearby.

I used to love this place. However, now its becoming a problem that a good chunk of the equipment has been broken for months. If you dont have hours to wait around in the morning, find another gym.Yes, management is well aware of the broken equipment. One of the three Smith machines is currently chained up. More money spent to chain it than to repair it.

I try to attend Planet Fitness Gym atleast (4 times a week), if not in the early morning, but atleast in the early evening hours, mainly chest, shoulders, and arms. I lift as started now 160lbs. bench press, 30 lbs. dumbells for arms, & 100lbs. flat bar on shoulders daily!

Black card membership is great, especially while traveling. Many hotel fitness centers are still closed. Planet Fitness is OPEN.

The location is pretty convenient if you live in inner harbor so thats good. The equipment however is worn out and not accomodating for taller people. Also Mira needs training on customer service because, yikes.

I been going to planet fitness for about 3 years bc of the convenience of stopping at any of their locations all over the country when I travel. Even here in my city I can be at a different part of town and have extra 30 minutes for a quick work out and there is always one near by. Post pandemic I’ve notice at least at my home gym that cleaning has gone a little south and I’ve experienced a couple of broke down machines. Is understandable bc they got a big hit with COVID-19 restrictions. I hope they get back to high level of cleaning and keeping up the place again soon.

Terrible advertisement, I went yesterday 5/16 @6:15pm. The club was closed and Other members who was there with me was just as frustrated when they got there. Supposedly they close at 7pm. As far as I’m concerned the place wasn’t even open at all for that day

Every time I come up to the gym on Monday morning they are never there. They are supposed open as 6 oclock here it is 6:50 a.m. and everyones outside the gym because the staff does not know how to show up on time period very unprofessional and very unreliable

Very very dirty...the employees and the members do not wear face mask over both nose and mouth. Many dont wear a mask..bathrooms are nasty they are never been cleaned in the last month..very very bad..I am going to report to the health department

Gym is good, membership price is good. But no good parking. There is a thing where you come in and scan your ticket to get $3 for 1 hr and $5 for past that, and so on.I paid $16 for parking first day before realizing that was a thing for being parked 1 hour and a few minutes.The hassle isn’t worth it. Makes the membership really ~$70/mo if you go 5x a week.Parking is a deal breaker. Switched to Merritt Club and they have free parking. It was $69/mo for me (1 yr commitment then month to month after).Less hassle was worth the switch for me.Hope this helps.

Actually, a great gym!

It is a shame that I must submit another review to get basic service. Im sure the PR person will respond to this review with a cheery tone indicating that I should contact customer service, which gives the allusion that the organization is focused on problem-solving. However, five times I have been bounced around or promised return phone calls from the manager Adam. Originally I was told that he would call Friday, and then Saturday. Today, I called and I am told that he will be off until next week. What is more unfortunate is that the employees are catching an attitude with me when I say, I dont feel comfortable retelling the story multiple times. I have only been a member for nine days. It is truly disturbing that I have to waste my time writing reviews or making multiple phone calls for something that should have been handled quickly and privately.

Great PF Location! Clean, spacious and Lots of Equipment. The Massage and Spa Services add a special touch!!

All free weights are in guided racks. Mostly cardio. Employees cleaned the floors and equipment twice in 20 minutes leaving chemical scents. The price is the best feature of this gym. The signs that say Judgement Free Zone are fully ironic as the security of the building threatened to call NSA (I couldnt say why) and actually called local law enforcement simply because I was taking too long to?d complete money transfers neccesary for me to join...this worked out for me since, later I was able to take advantage of a promotion that saved me around $60 toward my enrollment. Overall, not horrible though since i can still get a full workout in and its not very crowded.

Not sure the people who wrote that rule understand how exercise works.Was reprimanded once by front desk attendant for not wearing a mask when coming in from a downpour. Really really nice gym, I’m new to Baltimore City for work and school and it’s nice to have a safe, clean and friendly place to exercise. The staff and other Patrons are wonderful and answer any or all questions you have. The location on Charles Street is the best; the gym is small, never crowded and you feel right on at home. Love the HUGE glass windows and watching the city life.

Young Teseans attention was terrible, I was needing my card to enter the gym and he did not want to give it to me, because it is coronavirus time. I dont understand that explanation. Because with more reason I would need the card to have social distance. It is a shame that such a renowned gym cannot meet the basic needs of customers.

Planet fitness what can i say. The staff is rude and unhelpful. They have an annual fee they barely mention thats 7 times your monthly pay. The staff just closed the locker rooms during the pandemic instead of cleaning them. Poor service and poor policies.

The staff is not wearing the mask properly, nose is showing and when you asking them to wear it they get mad.

I am a black card holder who has been going to PF since September 2019. On August 2nd, 2020, one of the planet fitness staff showed me his middle finger at 5:08pm (ET) while on duty.Upon arrival of the Assistant Club Manager, I was asked to leave the property of PF, the PF employees verbally assaulted me at the front desk at around 5:30pm. Have reported the incident at the club location. Further actions are pending, incident will be reported to audit and compliance, and all interested partiesfor further investigation. This is unacceptable.

I enjoyed my workout at the downtown location.

When it comes to repairing broken machines PF Inner Harbor is very slow. It takes months before a repair takes place. Therefore, when theres only machine type it could be three or months. Not an effective maintenance system.

I do enjoy coming here and getting my work out on. The staff are real nice and super helpful and friendly. And they keep the place pretty clean too.

These People do terrible business. They charge you for charges unknown to you whenever they feel like it. I signed up right before the shutdown. Never got the opportunity to even set foot inside of the place. Could not get ahold of any live person. So when they open back up I got hit with all kinds of charges with no notice or warning and they refuse to give me my money back like we are not in the middle of a crisis. Most are seriously struggling.They will Never get another Dollar from me Ever again. Customer Service nonexistant. They dont give shhh about the customers, only your money.

Thirty-five minutes after the opening time with staff members outside saying “another ten to fifteen minutes”.

It is a very clean gym, even pre-covid. They are constantly dusting and vacuuming. The staff is very friendy. Ive never had an issue getting a machine.

Decent gym for the price. Not a ton of room for free weights, but do-able. Lots of cardio equipment. Locker room is small and lacks shampoo/body wash/towels. But for $10-20/month its a good value.

Staff is very on top of keeping equipment wiped down and inforcing social distancing.

Very nice and clean. Pool, exercise room were very good. My room was arranged beautifully while housekeeping made sure everything was clean.

My favorite place to be outside of my home and restaurants! Very clean, friendly & not too busy on weekends!

Great work out this morning! Lost 20lbs and Im loving the new me. Couldnt do it without trainer there whove been supporting me since day one.

A very peaceful and respectable environment any age groups and all walks of life. Counting of pleasure to go there and get your workout in build your muscles or help out your cardiovascular system. Clean and healthy environment. Staff is excellent.

Clean facilities, up-to-date equipment, large gym. Not over crowded. An excellent place to work out at your own pace and with the multiples of equipment, its easy to stay on the routine that you like. No designated parking lot or I wouldve rated 5 stars.

Thats all I need for my 6 days work out routine!! You guys are affordable, friendly and kind thank you for all you hard work!

Whenever Ive gone, its always been uncrowded and with perfectly functioning and clean equipment. Stays cool enough.

The locker room showers are filthy, and the facility doesnt offer towels. I get it small but those are the things that matter. The machines are really nice to use though you can tell their new.

A great deal for only $10 per month, PF has most of the fitness and body building equipment more expensive gyms have. There are free 30 and 60 minute small group training classes, and a self-directed circuit of training equipment combined with step aerobics. There are no large group classes, such as body pump, boot camp, or CrossFit. As a relative novice, I wish more instructional sessions were provided. Fortunately, I have enough experience to know how to get a good workout for myself.

Great place to work and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been going for over a year and have never had any issues. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good affordable place to work out that’s also open 24/7.

I only went to tan, but it was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and they encourage social distancing, masking, and hand sanitizing.

Decent amount of equipment but no benches for bench press, not many squat racks, only muscle milk in house for protein, no space for classes, etc. They do have tanning booths, machine massages, and some crazy all body fitness machine you stand in... overall, you get what you pay for. $15 a month isnt bad at all, but youre not getting anything special. Being open 24/7 here is pretty awesome though. If youre not picky its a great bargain.

I am a membership and I receive e-mail about deals frequently. Today I woke up early to go to the gym before work and I just saw a note in the door saying the gym was closed. I’m really upset about that. No one sent me an e-mail just to make sure I wouldn’t lose my time. Also it’s really hard see staff in front of the desk so I payed for the black card that includes the massage but you need to be there waiting someone to come. I don’t recommend it.

Nice gym. Never crowded when I go there. As expected tho, there are a lot of dudes using the cable fly, benches, and assist bars so patience is a virtue when waiting on your set lol.

Love how close to home is and also for being located in Downtown is never packed. I was a member for almost two years. I had to cancelled because of moving.Pay to park around all those stress and free after 6pm.

If you want a gym where its normal to find ramen noodles in the drinking fountain; chewing gum stuck on the locker room floor; missing shower heads; and non-existent staff. This is the gym for you.Theres nothing quite like waking up early to go to the gym before work only to find a hand written note on the door saying theyre closed. This has happened twice in the past month. Its 2019. Send an email.

Overall gym is nice and quiet. Everyone keeps to themselves. No female staff. Dont understand why I have to pay a $5 to attend another gym with membership and have to upgrade to use the spa facilities. Good for a quick or long workout.

The staff is wonderful, as you enter they speak to you,, bathroom is always clean, equipment clean and always working. I have been going there a year and never seen a down sign on their equipment. The staff walks around clean the placeand machine. They will ask you how you doing and if you need any help. Most of the people cleanup behind themselves. Even though it downtown i would recommend this gym to anyone.

There has been over 10 lockers burglarized in less than a month. Me included. Even if you have a lock and its secure. Planet Fitness will not accept responsibility. No personnel in place to prevent theft in locker rooms. Great place to work out but put your belongings of value home or in your vehicle. They wont even let you use the phone to call 911. And will do whatever it takes to accept responsibility when you have employees watching TV instead of the desk.

Basic Planet Fitness. Seems relatively clean. Convenient location with a ton of public transport nearby, and easy parking.

Good customer service, relatively new, little smaller comparatively to others in the area. Doesnt not attract the show off bodybuilding crowd. Parking is a hassle at any given time. Would have to pay for parking to workout during the day and sometimes at night

Every time I go, there are always a few people not wearing masks properly, and staff always looks the other way. If this is how its going to be, I will take my business elsewhere.
