His staff is not capable of answering your questions although I was reminded they were an agent for 15 years, nor do they call you back as promised.

Signed up online with Donald White and Allstate for car insurance which went pretty smoothly and at a good rate. Went out of town for Christmas and got a call from Valli Lafferty on 12/29/2017 that I was 30 days past due and that I should make a payment. Well, the 30th was a Saturday and the 31st was a Sunday, I called and there was no answer. Monday was New Years Day, no answer. Tuesday I went online to pay the bill only to find out I had been cancelled. What a thing to do over the holidays for 30 days late. What happened to customer service? Now I have an outstanding insurance lapse and will be heavily fined by the DMV. Beware if you want any type of customer service from this group and dont be late or youll be cancelled!

Buyer beware! Don White essentially stole almost $600.00 from me. I enrolled in a home owner and auto policy from All State, and signed up for autopay at the time. I sold my home and moved out of the state of Maryland within two months of the house sale. I contacted Jim Alchin prior to, and during my house sale, in which he cancelled my home owners policy and instructed me to return my plates as soon as I moved out of state and obtained new insurance. I did exactly as instructed, only to discover months later that AllState took well over $500.00 from my bank account after I had returned my tags and closed my account with them. After many emails, phone conversations and an office visit, I was told I would not receive the money they withdrew without permission or right from my bank account by Don White. I gave up fighting for the money that was stolen out of exhaustion, as I live out of state, am a new mother and have moved into two homes. During the latest move I was so happy to have my current insurance agent who is helpful and honest. I felt as though I needed to warn others of the dishonest and awful agency on Baltimore so no else is cheated out of their money.

Valli is very difficult to work with.
