My wife and I moved to Baltimore last year from South Carolina. Let me begin by saying Kayla made our move 100 times better. She worked with us even though we were 9 hours away. She made sure when we arrived she would be here and my apartment would be ready! The Carlyle has made our lives easy this past year. Any requests needed they were here! They treat their residents as if we were family! They know people by name. Kayla especially, ever morning never fails !! This place has been a wonderful adventure. We never really cared about the apartment life but the Carlyle made this a community! We have a roof top witch is personally my favorite. You have an amazing breakfast joint in the building, kitsch! You wont regret living here. For the first time I am actually upset we’re leaving!! We love the Carlyle and we will be back to visit! Thank you for the best year !!!
I just moved into the Carlyle about a month ago and have loved every second of my time here. The move in process was quick and easy and the team made sure I understood each part of the process. My apartment was spotless when I moved in and I have not had any issues with pests or rodents like Ive experienced when living in other buildings in the area. My favorite part of living here is the rooftop pool and lounge area. Such a great place to hangout with friends and family. Especially with the pandemic keeping us indoors, its been great to have everything I need in the building! I will be recommending the carlyle to all of my friends here at Loyola.
I really enjoyed living at the Carlyle! I lived in a unit with a balcony that has a beautiful view, and the view of Baltimore is even better on the rooftop. The staff are really friendly and all of my maintenance requests were completed very quickly. The rooms are also very spacious!
Staff are wonderful and there is always a quick response to any maintenance or administrative services. Calm and quiet so far. Everything is pretty old, but we knew we were not going to have an updated apartment. I only give a 4 star review because when we first arrived the floors were covered in paint dust and dirt which we cleaned ourselves. I wish the contractors or apartment complex would have swept up after painting. So far, so good though!
I had written a review on 07/03/21, but I cant find it to update it, Im not sure why.I just want to say that after 10 months complaining about roaches, we finally were able to find out the Regional Managers name. She visited us last week and had a meeting with the General Manager. Although we are still seeing roaches, it looks better this week. Im not sure what they did differently.I understand that it is very hard to keep pests under control in a huge building, especially if some residents dont cooperate cleaning their own apartments. We just wanted General Management to really care and try to help us (and not pretend that everything is under control). We are keeping the apartment super clean and neat, and paying our rent every month without any delays. We just expect some kindness, willingness to help and empathy back, as this problem is happening for a long time now.I also understand that we were unlucky about our recent neighbors, because on our first year here, we didnt have any pest problem. I dont like to be the person that is constantly getting in contact with management complaining about roaches, but it is unacceptable to live in an unsanitary place.Im also very unhappy that I had to constantly give them roaches proof. Why would I lie about something like that? I dont feel happy about it, and I dont enjoy having a lot of roaches pictures on my computer/phone (I also have the emails that Ive sent and that were never replied). And I also feel very sad that they only decided to take us seriously after I posted a review here on 07/03/21 (which had more than 1,000 visits the last time I checked). We are moving out in a couple of weeks.PS.: 1) I just want to add that Joe, from Orkin Pest Control, is great. Very professional and respectful. He was the only one that really tried to help us from day one. He told us, from day one, that there was nothing in our kitchen, that our kitchen was extremely clean. Hes been saying to us, for 10 months, that the roaches we see are just passing through, because there was never any sign that they live here. The only solution was to inspect all the apartments next to ours. I can only assume that the General Manager never allowed him to do that because of budget.2) I also want to add that the General Manager didnt even replied to the smallest of the requests that weve made. We asked him if we could extend our stay here for a couple of weeks (because, unfortunately, we really didnt have a choice and needed to stay here a little bit longer). He didnt reply to us. We only got the extension after Kayla returned from maternitys leave, and she promptly replied to us. Shes always tried to do the best she could to help us. Iesha was also great!
Water gets shut off at least once a month and takes management a while to notify residents that it’s been turned off, but you do get a free pet in the form of mice in your apartment! It’s always a fun time playing “will the elevator work today?” and if it does, the door might not even open when you get to your floor!Update: No hot water again! Third day in a row.
The carlyle will always be a home to me. The staff is extremely helpful and is always able to put a smile on my face when I visit the leasing office. Its been great to be so close to JHU and rarely have to worry about transportation around the area. I wish I could stay here forever. If you get the chance to live here TAKE IT! Thank you Carlyle!
I lived in the Carlyle for a semester while my university was online and I loved my experience. The staff of the building was welcoming, kind, and very easy to approach with any questions. The rooms were spacious with a great gym and plenty of spots around the building to do work if unable to in your own room. One of my personal favorites was the rooftop, which featured a grilling area that my friends and I took full advantage of in the fall, as well as a gorgeous view of downtown Baltimore, with both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Another amazing perk is that the building is only a short walk away from a shopping center which features a grocery store, pharmacy, and an awesome assortment of different chains and restaurants.
Roaches!!!!Ive been dealing with roaches in my unit for months!________________________________________________________[UPDATE - 07/03/21] I wrote the review above one month ago, and now someone from Carlyle replied to me saying that I have to get in contact with the building office. I just wanna say that of course that I already did that!!! Why wouldnt I say anything to the manager and just write a review on Google?I have a folder on my desktop called Carlyle. In this folder I have all the emails that Ive sent to the management (never got an answer), all the photos that weve taken, and all the maintenance requests that weve opened.Buildings management never cared to send someone here to see where the roaches are coming from. They only send the exterminator to spray the unit (and only if we open a new maintenance request every week). The exterminator already told us he doesnt know where they are coming; the only thing that he knows is that they are not coming from our unit.
I have never had better experience in my entire life. The manager is the nicest man I have ever meet and accommodates to our greatest needs. I recommend the Carlyle to everyone I know.
I had a great experience at the Carlyle! Whenever I needed maintenance, someone always came within the hour and immediately fixed it. The hallways were clean, the new workout space was more than enough to fit my needs, and I always felt safe despite being on the first floor. If anyone is looking for a nice yet relatively inexpensive place to live in Baltimore, I definitely recommend the Carlyle.
Wonderfully responsive management and maintenance! Housekeeping does an excellent job of keeping the common areas clean and beautiful,
This is the best place I have lived in baltimore! the staff is amazing and so easy to deal with! great location and great restaurant and parks near by.
I really enjoyed living in the Carlyle. The room is spacious and with a wonderful view. Amenities here are well-maintained and handy. The helpful and professional staffs make the experience here warm and comfortable.
I recently moved out of this apartment building and I enjoyed it very much. The staff were so helpful with any questions and were genuinely kind people. Maintenance responded in a good amount of time and were able to help fix problems within the apartment. I do recommend living here, especially for college students looking for off-campus living.
Beautiful and quiet apartment near JHU with a reasonable price. Plenty of well-designed floor plans to choose from. In-site washer/dryer saves me a lot of effort. The responsive and professional staff are highly recommended.
Great apartments with large rooms and A LOT of closet space. I also like the parking lot. Kayla and Mike at the leasing office are extremely helpful and friendly, always get things done for me. Appreciate it! Overrall, Im very statisfied with the time I stayed here.BTW the gym, rooftop and the study rooms are great places to spend time!
This is absolutely the best place to live. Management is super nice and very understanding. They help you with everything that you need and the Apartments are superb.
One of the plus points I want to mention is having a laundry service in the apartment itself. Apart from that the property is in a great neighborhood. Staff here is super friendly and they do maintain the property very well.
Carlyle is the best management and experience I have ever had. Great and loving people.
Best building! The manger is so nice! Would recommend living here!
Great property. Maintenance requests are addressed almost immediately. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have an amazing rooftop. Safe and peaceful neighborhood.
Beautiful, homey apartments with spacious rooms and big closet space. Rooftop has an amazing ambience and view.
Nothing better than the Carlyle. Great experience and better people!
Even though I don’t live in the building, when I needed their help they were quick, friendly, and courteous.
I love this place wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!!
Amazing place to live! Apartments are big and residents are quiet. I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff here are! They are so kind and accommodating! Maintenance comes the same day (sometimes even within the same hour!!). Seriously, they are so sweet here. The only reason Im leaving is because I got a job thats an hour away. If you are looking for a safe, clean, quiet place to live with helpful staff and amazing maintenance--this is it!!
I have lived at the Carlyle for over a year and have had an excellent experience. Everyone who works here from the leasing office team, maintenance people and cleaning people have been fabulous. They have always not just done their jobs but gone above and beyond to get to know me and accommodate my specific needs. The building is always clean and it is somewhere that I love calling home/going home too. I am a young female and run early every morning, many days in the dark. I have always felt safe in this area. The complex has a ton of great amenities, such as a rooftop pool, gym and parking. The rent is affordable and the neighborhood is great. It is within walking distance to several parks and some of the best food and drink in Baltimore, ‘The Avenue.’ I would highly recommend the Carlyle to anyone looking for a home in Baltimore.
Best place ever! Highly recommend
Unresponsive to multiple service requests. They quickly send you a donotreply email that your service request is COMPLETED, and, its not.
Carlyle is a wonderful place! I like the beautiful view, in-unit washer and dryer, nice staff, quick maintenance, and pet-friendly policy here. 5 stars.
Enjoyed my time living at the apartment! I lived there for about a year and a half and would’ve stayed longer if I could’ve! The management, maintenance, and all other staff are super friendly and always accommodated to my requests and concerns!
Leasing staff is wonderful and very friendly. Iesha is super awesome and helps me with everything i need. GREAT PROPERTY!!
The best apartment complex in the Rolland Park area based on my personal experience. The management is very cooperative and prompt on responding to inquiries and emergencies. The apartments are spacious and well designed and worth every penny you spend. I recommend it to all the people planning to move in this area. This is something you would never regret.
I have been living in the Carlyle Apartments for close to 2 years now and I couldnt have asked for a better place to live in, in a foreign country. The houses are spacious and wisely designed. Sufficient closet space, fully-equipped kitchens (with microwave, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher) and in house laundry unit are the key selling points I believe. There is a tastefully decorated rooftop with barbecue equipment and swimming pool that you can use for gatherings, meetings or even some quiet time. The management is very prompt and helpful. Any kind of maintenance work is taken care of in no time. At a very strategic location with some good restaurants and grocery stores in the close vicinity. I would certainly recommend making Carlyle your next choice if you are house hunting!
I have been living in this building for a while now (2 and a half years almost). I cant stop loving the amenities (washer-dryer, pool, gym) and the maintenance is quick too. If you want an all-amenities inclusive experience near Homewood, I would definitely suggest this.
I joined the community a year ago and I absolutely love this place. Great location and neighborhood and apartments with great views. The people in the leasing office are very kind and accommodating and on top of things. The maintenance staff at Carlyle are respond quickly and friendly. There is a locked package room that keep deliveries safe and organized. As a Hopkins student, I have been to and lived in several apartment complexes around Homewood campus and the Carlyle apartment is definitely my top recommendation!
The room space is very big. The biggest one around JHU Homewood campus. The office is very nice and helpful. You can always get free and quick repair. I just got my key dropped, and will have my new key set in half an hour. So that was very nice and efficient. Wyman part is just downstairs for you to take a walk. You got free and high speed wifi, fitness center and a roof swimming pool (although they are closed due to cover-19) It is also pet friendly. Anyway, I have a very good experience here and recommend this apartment to you if you are looking for an apartment near JHU Homewood. By the way, you got Hopkins deli (a convenience store + deli) with 4 mins walk, so it was an awesome plus under the covid-19 situation (although the deli is closed according to the state)
Best of the Best. I have lived here for more than 2 years and I can say that the management is quick and swift in every aspect. Beautiful place with well maintained smell free gym 24/7; rooftop is like a 5star new york city outdoor club. I have done plenty of apartment search and none beats the cleanliness, managements resolution of resident query and concerns. mail and amazon delivery is very easy and residents do not have to goto office to pick it up at specific times, it is 24/7 access. The Carlyle apartments is a big family that celebrates all holidays!
Great apartments. Home for almost a year. A little expensive than apartments around, but spacious and good amenities. Love the pool and play area on the top floor.
Relocated from overseas without ever seeing the apartment in person. Rosina went out of her way to sent us photos of the apartments we short listed and provided us with her recommendation when asked. We love the community, it’s location and the amenities (including the Amazon hub). The ladies at the concierge are always happy and give great restaurant recommendations.
It has been a delight to have been living here for more than a year. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They have extra security guards carrying out routine checks to provide added security which makes you feel more secure. Would definitely recommend.
Would highly recommend
It is a very nice apartment and it offers a well equipped gym . The package room is also great and you can pick up your package whenever you want. The staff there are nice and friendly, and the person whos responsible for the maintenance is professional and proficient. Highly recommended this apartment to everyone!!!!
I really enjoy living at the Carlyle. I love that its pet friendly, and the front office staff are very helpful whenever you need them. The building itself is sturdy and it doesnt feel cheap (thick walls), and the rent is very reasonable for such a large apartment. No complaints!
Good place to live. A lot of amenities around like grocery shops, hair cuttery,.. Several Zipcar spots are also near by. Even if the building is quite old, it is just fine. The staff is also nice.
Only been here a couple weeks but I am very happy. Gorgeous downtown views. The staff are friendly and helpful. Cant wait till the rooftop pool opens. Very satisfied.
Ive been always missed the days living in Carlyle. Its safe there with nice citizens and many JHU students. Amenities there are great (common rooms, gyms, pools, independent washers-dryers) and pretty enough space in kitchen, living room and bedroom. Its also very quiet. And you dont want to miss the annual Christmas party with lots of food and gifts! Thanks to the assistants and maintenance staff in Carlyles office for lots of prompt help and support!
Carlyle has been home away from home for me. Has the most amazing management who help through the smallest and the biggest problems as quickly as possible. They always have maintainance people on duty. Has an amazing Rooftop lounge for when you have to host an event and a quiet study room for when you have to study for your exams. Also has a rooftop pool which is open for summers and is pretty big. I have been staying in Carlyle for about 2 Years now and I am really happy with the place.
Great place. Great staff. Great people. Probably the best apartments to live at near Hopkins. Amazing rooftop, and the swimming pool. Functional gym, and great wifi room. They host a lot of fun events too, which is great.
Just left Carlyle with a year and halfs great experience. Thank you!
I absolutely love it here.. the View from my 15th apartment floor is breath taking everyday I look out the window. Management and staff are great. Since I have been living here I have never had an issue with anyone here. The only problem I have here is finding parking close enough to the building. They have a garage but thats 100 dollars more.. a month. I dont mind the walk from my car every now and then
Im current resident at Carlyle W University Pkwy Baltimore. Almost 2 years here. The management and staff were been very helpful and kind, most accommodating with international students, very responsive and professional. It is a quiet, safe and clean, excellent amenities, fitness center open 24/7 and convenient location. Great place to live.
This is an awesome apartment in Baltimore and has been my home for more than a year now. The management is very welcoming, always smiling, ready to help, and are simply amazing. The washer and dryer facility in house, the roof-top pool, gym, WiFi room and the home-like-feeling makes this a perfect place to stay in.
I have lived here for only a short time, but the support staff, particularly Kayla, is nonpareill. Problems are handled swiftly, and my frequent questions and special requests are effectively addressed, and always with a smile. So far the residents have been friendly and accommodating. The clincher is the roof! The view is stunning, and the furnishings are comfortable.
Much appreciated!
Location is good for student. The place is really old and You will see rats in this apartment.
My 2 bedroom, 2 bath apt here is the largest, most expansive apt Ive ever lived in. The living room alone could fit a studio apt at another building, each of the bedrooms has tons of free floor space and huge closets, and theres a phenomenal view from the porch. Thats right--theres a porch! I spent nearly my whole first summer here sitting on the porch working. Its extremely peaceful and, once again, a very large area. Maintenance is really responsive to any issues that do arise, especially if theres an emergency. Also, the wifi here is exceptional. Overall, Im really pleased.
I lived in Carlyle for 1 year and I do like this apartment. Staff here are really nice and professional, and I have many friends living here at different floors. and we can have our party on the roof level. It has a big common room for residents and we can play games and play pingpong. It is fantastic!!!
Its a great community of residents, located in a park like setting. Its close to shops, restaurants and public transportation. The apartments are spacious with open floor plans, great natural light and a secure, well maintained building. The staff is always professional and quick to respond to any resident inquiry.
The best apartment
I moved here in June 2016 and its been a great experience. The staff is very friendly and the maintenance has always been taken care of quickly. The apartment is a great value, awesome rooftop and pool with a great view of Baltimore. The gym is really good for the size and has enough equipment to work out every part of your body. The location is great and the building is in a safe area right near JHU and Hampden with plenty of bars and restaurants. You definitely get great bang for your buck here and you simply wont find this kind of value in most other cities.
I think this apartment is pretty nice. Office staff are friendly and always easy to get the package. If you are going to find a place where is safe and clean, also closed to Hopkins campus, I believe this is your choice.
We have recently moved here and cant complain about anything . Its been wonderful! The units are very big and spacious with nice appliances, the noise level is minimal if that.
Love the community. The building is diverse with many international students. Love the staff, too. They are so friendly and make me feel like home
Big Apartment, Washer and Dryer inside, Great Staff. 5 stars
The Management and support staff are respectful and responsive. They treated our children wonderfully. The view from the roof top pool is quite amazing.
Ive lived here for nearly three years (2-bedroom, 1-bedroom and studio) and really liked it. The building is in a fantastic location, close to Hampden and JHU Homewood. The apartments are spacious and airy with lots of natural light. For internet (now included in the lease), I easily get the 100 Mbps promised, usually more. One of my favourite things about these apartments are the washer-dryer in unit, I dont like sharing dirty machines with the whole building. Theres also the option of paying for off-street parking in their garage. Moreover, theyre pet-friendly!Maintenance is always quick to respond to issues and the office staff are friendly and helpful. They are enthusiastic about Halloween and having happy residents. For the size of the apartments, the washer-dryer in unit, great internet and parking, the Carlyles price is difficult to beat. I strongly recommend living here.
Lived here for 7 months now and Ive been very happy with the prompt support with any problems Ive had. Incredible rooftop with a pool, ping pong table, grills, chairs and a view of the inner harbor
1. To conclude, this is absolutely worst rental building I have ever lived in.2. heating system often not working, however you are still being charge up to $200 a month for fuel.3. there are a lot of extra fees on top of your rent, Sewer, Water, Gas, Trash, Service, etc...4. if you are 1day late on payment, you must pay $75 late fee.5. You most likely wont have hot water in the morning/evening when your neighbors are also taking shower.6. There are rats coming out from the heater.
Sooooo bad..1. the place is dirty and the hallway stuffy because there is no ventilation in the building2. the maintenance is a continuous problem. Called and called-still without oven 5 days later3. the main manager Cori is rude-she doesnt care about the tenants4. bugs invade your house because every springStay away!
Great staff, location, and friendly neighbors one of the best spots in Baltimore!
I would strongly recommend living here. If you live at the Carlyle you will rapidly learn that you are a part of a community that loves and respects eachother. The management, Micheal, Rashid, kyela are the most helpful and dedicated people to their duties you will ever come across. I, in the capacity of being a physician, have enjoyed every moment of my time training in a hospital near by living at the Carlyle. Congratulations team!
The Carlyle raised the rent from last year because they offer free internet now. Sadly, the internet is unstable and sometimes drops connection. I wish Carlyle will consider leaving the internet choice to the customer and removing the add-on price from rent. The front office reached out to me and offered to contact Xfinity. If the problem is fixed, I will update my review later.
Just the house you have been looking for. Perfect in every aspect.
I love the community at The Carlyle. Fantastic location and amazing view from the rooftop pool.
I am not one to usually review anything or any place on the web but I am feeling compelled to write this because my parents and I have been lied to by Rasheed and Michael who work in the leasing office at the The Carlyle Apartments in Baltimore, MD. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND that any Loyola students, Johns Hopkins students, or any other prospective residents live here. The first few months I lived at the Carlyle were fine and I did not have many problems. But starting in the summer of 2015 and within the last 8 months, there have been many issues with the building and the front office staff. The building is falling apart, it seems as every few weeks to every month the water is turned off, there is noisy construction being done in the building or on my hall without notice, the elevators sometimes are not working without any notice or explanation, and minor inconveniences within my own apartment (tiles coming down in the bathroom, bugs, A/C breaking). Those situations were inconvenient and bearable to a certain point, but what has compelled me to write this are the unethical businesses practices that my parents and I have experienced with the office staff. First, when I moved into the apartments we were told by the woman who set up my rent that there would be no problem with receiving a parking space for when my parents came in to town. When I went to request it the 1st time I was given one. Every time after that we were not given one until my mother talked to Michael the manager of the building 8 months ago when we were questioning whether to renew my lease. The months leading up to the conversation, 8 months ago, I received 2 leasing agreements that had 2 different pricing discrepancies where one was much higher and one was much lower. With the 1st option having 2 rental options and the next which I received months later (after not renewing with the 1st options) having multiple leasing options. When my mom went in to question him about the lease she said that she would not renew my lease unless they would be able to give my parents a parking space for when they visited me. He promised that they would be allowed to receive a parking space as long as we paid the rate of $10/per day and to call him if there were ever any other problems. We had no problem with paying the rate. I SIGNED THE LEASE WITH THE EXPECTATION THAT MY PARENTS WOULD RECEIVE A PARKING SPACE. The next time after that we received a space but for an extra $20/per day (WE PAYED IT). Since then my parents and I have received excuses, lies, and no sufficient explanation as to why we could not receive a parking space. IT HAS BEEN A SAFETY HAZARD FOR BOTH OR JUST ONE OF MY PARENTS (WHO ARE BLACK) TO HAVE TO FEAR FOR THERE SAFETY PARKING THEIR CAR AT NIGHT and ALMOST A MILE AWAY FROM MY APARTMENT IN A PREDOMINATELY WHITE NEIGHBORHOOD IN BALTIMORE.AS A DAUGHTER OF A BUISNESS OWNER AND HAVING WORKED FOR MY MOM I KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO BE HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. I WOULD NEVER TELL A CUSTOMER OR CLIENT SOMETHING THAT WAS UNTRUE UNLESS I KNEW FOR CERTAIN THAT WHAT I WAS SAYING WAS LEGITIMATE (if I didn’t know the answer I would ask my supervisor and apologize to make up for my mistake). THE DISHONESTY DISPLAYED BY THE CARLYLE LEASING OFFICE STAFF ARE INCONSIDERATE AND UNACCEPTABLE. This situation is an unneeded stress that COULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED if the staff was upfront with us and had just told us that they would not be able to accommodate my family when we talked 8 months ago. I WOULD NOT HAVE RENEWED MY LEASE. Because of the LIES, DISORGANIZATION, and WEAK COMMUNICATION within THE CARLYE LEASING OFFICE I have to say THE CARLYE has become a place that is NOT CONCERNED FOR ITS RESIDENTS but is the RESIDENT to an INCOMPETENT (LEASING OFFICE) STAFF TRYING TO MAKE A DISHONEST BUCK.
Great location - easy to walk to shopping and restaurants, Johns Hopkins University, and the bus downtown or to Towson is within easy walking distance. Mike, Rasheed and Stacy in the front office are friendly and prompt, and Michael and Tommy in maintenance are always available.
Update:They have improved everything since last year (the manager has changed and the staff are very nice now). We had an issue with our dish washer and they changed it right away. I suggested they make the package delivery automated and they have just recently implemented a new convenient 24/7 package room and delivery system. They renovated the heat system; we have had heat and hot water everyday during last few months and this year the heat bill was decreased significantly.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Worst apartment I have ever lived in! I dont know what the management is doing; you just see the staff changing like every month! and they seem to be doing nothing! They only sometimes take care of new tenants and once you start living here, nothing is taken care of. When we applied for Carlyle they asked for application and reservation fee to lock the price; they said they will contact us if a unit becomes available; and then nothing.... we called after a while and they said the leasing staff has changed and we cannot find your application! We had already lost our opportunity to go somewhere else and we felt being fooled for paying those fees upfront...... anyway, we ended up in a unit not similar to what we had reserved....And now as a tenant, you could guess you would not get any service! The mailing room hours is ridiculous and changing everyday! Even if your package has been signed by one of the staff with a good chance it will be lost; they not only wont take any responsibilities but seem to be bothered when you ask them to look a second time. I ordered a surface pro laptop once and could only found it by chance thrown on the floor in the middle of the common room! No notice.. nothing! I was just soo lucky! The maintenance staff never repaired anything; we just learned to cope with things or repair ourselves! They dont tell you how much on top of the rent they will bill you; but literally you have to pay $200/month more than your rent for heat, trash, water, sewage, service, etc... and the heat is shut off randomly many days during the winter (like 5,6 days/month at least). Many days, the hot water runs cold when you are taking shower. The staff just pretend everything is going smoothly and you are the only one who looks frustrated; I have lived in several apartments before and never complained. I lived in Broadview for two years just on the other side of the street and it was just so much more organized and welcoming. The only reason I moved to Carlyle was the washer/dryer inside the unit and the bathroom being outside the bedroom but I shouldnt have done so!!!!!!Forgot to say, its expensive for no reason!
Great floor plan and view, but the air conditioner has loud sounds and mice...
They have a quick response when i report there is a problem on my window blinds, and fixed it in a nice way. I appreciate~15B aprtment
While the staff is friendly, the living conditions are not luxury as the website states. I found a mouse living in the kitchen, 2 sets of blinds broke within a month due to old age, no door closed properly because they are covered in layers of paint, the bathroom ceiling had water damage, and the fire alarm constantly went off when you turned the stove/oven on. I wouldnt recommend this apartment.
Very good
Heard a lot of pest issues present in this building.
Friendly staff and building manager!
Worst place to live
Always problems with the elevators, but other facilities are satisfying
The staff are very friendly and host a lot of events
