Went in as a walk-in and was happy to be taken right away.I know what I want and can afford but, like every nail shop they want to up sell you.(reason for 4 stars)Overall great shop. Will return. If you wanna try something new and different try the volcano 🌋 pedicure. Its pricey but, fun.

Worst experience ever. So me and my girls went to get our nails done. The people here did not took time to do the work right my nails look horrible. I mean you go to a place like this to relax and have some alone time and to come feeling pretty. But no i mad they charge me an eye ball and half of the other.

Ive been going to Tony for years. He is professional and welcoming each time. He takes real good care of his clients.

I like service here by Tony. Sad to hear he is no longer working here. Anyone knows where he relocated to? I have received service by other technicians but quality and service is not the same.

Me and my sister went in for pedicures. She got the basic pedicure, I asked for one of the more expensive packages. My sister had a really nice lady technician who was attentive and did everything that was included. My male technician answered the phone every 2 minutes during my whole pedicure and I did not receive the 7 minute massage or the hot stones or anything else that I paid extra for. And then was left there sitting after my toes were painted because he told me to wait (I was thinking maybe he was going to do the extra services afterwards). I waited 15 minutes before I just got up and had to go ask the guy to let me pay him before I left.

I finally found a nail salon that I can walk into that does such a great job everytime! My pedicure is one of the best pedicures I recieved! My nails are filed filled perfectly every time. And great customer service every time I go!

Everyyime I go there its seems like Im being pressured to get gel or buy more services. Me and my 2 kids 120 later like we are in a pandemic and they want to Hassel you. They went up on the get gel extra $15 I just dont agree with it. They are very nice but there prices are alittle to high. Just let us go in and relax and not ask us over and over if we want gel or this and that extra. Like we customers keep you in business have some consideration for your customers.

I had a pedicure and full set done with Son. He did a great job during both services. He was very attentive and made sure to meet the details I asked for in the full set. I loved the way my nails came out and I would definitely go to him again, if I lived in Bakersfield.

They removed my acrylics perfectly, it was quick,clean and the staff is very friendly helpful and nice I will come here again☺️

Little did they know my daughter understood/ speakes there language. And the things that were said by the staff about the customers including us was very disrespectful and unprofessional.Never again will we go back.The owner I assume (Bill) was very nice and professional but the staff is horrible.*Note ; you never know who understands what you are saying be respectful!

After getting my nails done Im going to lunch I thought down take a look at my nails and it looks like they already need to feel

Picked out color then they gave me a total different color that was a “favorite”... hated the color I wanted the original color I picked out.

BEWARE!!! omg i promise 🤦🏾‍♀️😔 i asked for this design on Pinterest and got something totally different first they broke off my real nail on the skin that was the start and then when they were trying to figure out if they could or could not do the design that I wanted they kept reassuring me that they could when I kept saying I could just get something simple but they kept screwing up and having to restart and i could obviously see that they couldn’t do the design that I wanted and then once done I was just in shock I couldn’t even say anything for two minutes and then I went to the lady who had been the main person working on my nails... btw they had three people work on my nails in the process but anyway she swore up and down that it was the exact same design that I had showed her she didn’t know what i was talking about and I could not get my money back now I paid $50 for the design that I received and $40 for my mom who had her own bad experience..... but that’s not the point I’m upset because she thought I was crazy for thinking the design was not the same and then she just kept laughing in my face being super rude so i went to ask the others who worked on my nails and now at that point everyone started to just ignore me like they didn’t just service me so i started to cry i was so mad another lady and her husband getting her nails done came to hug me and to say sorry this was happening to me and they are never going there again and they told me i should write this review so here i am. this is my experience I’m not telling anyone not to go to the snow shop but I am saying that this is what happened to me and I will not be returning

I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! I was so respectful the whole time I even gave a tip I paid $50 for this design that I wanted and I did not receive what I wanted when I went to tell the lady that it looks nothing like what I wanted she laughed in my face and told me that it was exactly the same design and I could not get my money back and I never even asked for my money back I just wanted her to fix what was wrong all the employees there are rude they just kept cracking jokes back-and-forth and then they started ignoring me when I became upset that she thought I was crazy it was so upsetting because I was even late for my date and I went looking like this LOL BTW they had three different employees working on my nails and they did not know what they were doing I even asked to get a simpler design but they just insisted so watch out

I came to modern nails for pedicure and manicure. The shop was very clean and the staff very friendly. I thought the service was exceptional and the prices were fair. I would definitely go back again!

This is the best nail place in the southwest by far, these people take their time to attend you, the service is outstanding your not rushed out in 15 minutes for a pedi. I keep trying new places but always end up going back with them. Kim and Michelle are my favorite. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

They dont do a very good job here. Then at the end they over charge you. I paid an extra $5 because my nail polish had glitter. Glitter. Lady wasnt paying attention to what she was doing kept filing my skin on my finger. I told her she was hurting me and she said you are just too sensitive wow. How rude. No one speaks English and they didnt do a good job. Nail glue residue all over my hand. I paid $54 for a BASIC PEDICURE AND FULL SET. Too much. I prefer wild nails across the street by far. This place sucks

They made my appointment at 3pm sat me down then told me to move seats and put someone else there poor customer service! They scheduled to many ppl at the same time

Love going there its very convenient for me close to my house, love love their work and theyre all very nice to me at least. I once decided to go elsewhere and biggest mistake I couldve made. Ive been coming here here for over 2 years and I always leave feeling pampered and happy. If you like someone just ask for them thats what I do and you know you wont be disapointed. So I highly recommend going here.

The staff didnt really listen to what both my mother and I wanted. The technician doing my nails was annoyingly persistent in trying to talk me into pink and whites when I only wanted white tips. Then the the technician doing my mothers nails flat out refused to give her white tips on the grounds that a non-existent tear on her thumb nail would show and then told her that the only polish they could put on her acrylics was gel and then after everything she applied the wrong color gel!

I just wanna say i been going here for a few months now n im so satisfied, especially with the sweet lady who does my nails (Kim) shes the only one ill allow to do my nails, she always does an amazing job n is so patient. i wont go anywhere else!

This place is so TERRIBLE!!! I made an appointment to get a set with my friends for prom and they don’t even take appointments! Some guy that works there did my nails and he did them TERRIBLE! He left all the glue under my nails and the nails were so uneven and they looked so bad. He was also extremely rude. I would not come here again! Didn’t even give him a tip.

Tony is awesome! I had just moved from the east side of town to the southwest and was looking for a new nail salon. I had already tried out one other next to Albertsons on Panama (TERRIBLE) and happened to drive by this shopping center and spotted this salon. My nails were very brittle and delicate because the previous place had shaved off the gel nail polish to the point where my actual nails were shaved down as well. Tony was very gentle and able to apply the acrylics and new gel polish without further damaging my nails. The work he did was really pretty, too! I recommend him specifically because I havent tried out the other nail artists. I have a few friends who came in after me and they loved the salon, too :) the prices were definitely reasonable.

Went in this past Sunday, first of all, theyre open on Sunday folks! The service was good... will definitely be back...

This place sucks!! I asked for a pedicure and the amateur tech in training sawed my toenails damn near to the skin, left them crooked and removed no cuticles. I nearly passed out! I asked for the manager and she made it no better! Then had the nerve to complain and refused to give me her name even after I was gracious enough to make a partial payment. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN!! I went right across to Wild Nails and their techs had to correct their slop and had me looking on point!

WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR MY OTHER HAND SHE DECIDED TO MIX ANOTHER BATCH, I WAS WITH 2 DIFFERENT PINKS! I WAS STILL FORCE TO PAY $35 FOR THE MESS.. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATS SO EVER THE OWNER IS THE RUDEST MAN ALIVE..TALK ABOUT MONEY HUNGRY!

As another poster has remarked, I, too, keep coming back to this shop. Nail places are notoriously inconsistent in quality, but Modern Nail on Panama has delivered my daughter and I relatively good service for several years.

Horrible experience! I paid 80 $ I asked for my nails to be acrylic french tip and I wanted them thin with the white tip polish. My nails were super thick so i asked nicely please to drill them down to make them thin....he didnt. Then I asked him to make sure my white tip were thin he told me im too difficult and im giving him trouble. He didnt finish them and I left.

Got a regular pedicure and the pedi tech did not polish the nail completely.

My eyebrows have been completely butchered. One is a shorter triangle and the other is a longer arch. This is the second time my eyebrows have been messed up when waxing here, and I still had to pay full price.

I would give a zero if I could I have been sitting for over 30 mins everyone that has walked in without an appointment has gotten done the same thing I am going to
