Crown Royal Nails has been the only nail salon I go to just because of the quality I receive. Now I do recommend making an appointment due to how busy they are but otherwise you are all set. The nail tech that takes care of me is Mia and her work is always top notch. Each time I come I provide a photo of what I am looking for and she never fails to deliver. I highly recommend you book an acrylic nail appointment with her. Plus she often goes the extra mile to make sure I am satisfied by constantly updating her skills to match current trends.

Always pleased when I am finished. If you have the chance to make an appointment with anyone I strongly suggest Mia. She is very sweet and does her job very well. Not once have I ever been disappointed.

I have had services at the riverwalk location before with no issues. However we live by the Gosford location so my daughter and I went. ( I rarely complain as I love giving positive feedback) I gave this location 2 stars one for cleanliness because it was spotless and two for quick service. When I walked in I didn’t see prices posted anywhere so I asked for a menu and the cashier asked me to scan the barcode. There wasn’t any prices there just the services so I asked 3 times what the prices were and they kept telling me to look online, then ignored the question. We had another appointment that evening so I wanted to be able to get my daughters nails done as a bday gift. Yes we left a tip for each of the 4 people that provided services for us however he rushed my nails I won’t name him because it might be embarrassing but I’m sure he knows his work. Rushed, didn’t have me wash my hands just dusted them which created like a bumpy gel on top. When I looked at my nails from my point of view they were so crooked I didn’t want to pay. Bumpy and had bubble-spots on the top which have since then popped and are dark in color now. My daughters nails were bumpy too just not as bad and it was her first set of acrylics so I just complimented her and let her be happy. I won’t be going here again 160$ later two full sets and a polish change on our toes it was hard for me to pay this.

It was my first and last time coming to this nail salon. I was really excited for this experience. I had called a day earlier requesting an appointment with Mia since I read she had good reviews. When I got there, I told them about my appointment but there was a bit of a language barrier. They ended up switching me to another individual, I didn’t get his name. I showed him the picture of what design I wanted, shimmery pink with a gold sun. He said he could do it. Later on, instead of telling me he couldn’t draw the design, he was going to apply a BLACK sticker sun instead. I was like wait a minute that’s not even like the picture😂 so I didn’t even get the design I wanted. When he was filing my nails, he cut my skin to the point where it was bleeding nonstop, aside from that, instead of sanitizing the bleeding area he went right ahead and painted my nails. Dipping the brush back into the polish. It was not sanitary at all the way they ran things, overall there was a lack of professional communication and a lack of cleanliness. The guy was also very rude, and I kept holding my patience. I knew this experience was one of the worst I’ve had at a salon. A few days afterward, one of my gel nails started peeling. Nothing was worth this visit.

I’ve been going with Mia for several years already never does she disappoint me. She always does exactly what a want. I do recommend to book appointment since they are busy most of the time.

The service and quality or work is great here. I have tried other salinos and always go back to this location. My gel pedicure last 6 weeks at a minimum and they always take their time and i never feel like they are rushing to get me out. My acrylic nails usually pop off easy but i haven’t had that issue since going here. They have sooo many color gel options and dip colors. The nail art here is also a huge plus . They never dissapoint! I can confidently give this location a great review

This 5 star is for a very sweet and nice manicurist - Wendy. I started going to this nail salon a few months ago and I was lucky to have Wendy as my manicurist. She is amazing. She listens to you and keeps quality and customer satisfaction as a priority. I can be very picky with detail and Wendy has always made sure I go home happy with my nails. She helps choose shades and designs, does not rush her work and you can feel that she loves what she does. She has been attentive on how I like things and after 1-2 visits, I no longer need to point out anything that needs fixing. For one appointment when Wendy was not available, I had to get my manicure done by another person, and I left unsatisfied. For me it’s Wendy only from here on.

Me and my Fiance, we got to Spa pedicures the weight with a little long. They didnt have much of a selection I guess they just gave it a regular pedicure and I had got gel on my toes. Price but overall not that bad I think 35 for a pedicure prices were not displayed.

This place is an absolute joke. Bad service, bad communication. Give credit when credit is due, this is my first bad review. I sat in a bath of cold water for an hour and 15 minutes. I finally had to leave. The customers kept crawling in with a promise wait time of 20 minutes. I’d been waiting over and hour along with many helpless customers like myself. Well understaffed and overworked. I feel bad for people who have to be ok with working in these conditions. At the end of the day, they’re just nails. I’ll live but these people will likely continue to operate under these conditions.

I have been using Mia for 2 years now and i am NEVER disappointed! She does amazing nail art and can always do all the nail “trends”! I will only be using her!! I always recommend this place to everyone i know or who asks me about my nails!!

I love Crown Royal Nails--I usually go to the Riverwalk location, which I did yesterday. However, I was asked to go to the Gosford location since the Riverwalk location was too busy. I arrived around 4pm (an hour before they closed) and got a pedicure. Their website says that for $30, a classic pedicure includes a sugar scrub and 6-minute massage, both of which werent done. It felt like they employees were just trying to finish quickly since it was near their closing time, which I understand, but I didnt get what I paid for. Im really disappointed because I loved this salon chain, but Im, unfortunately, going to have to find a new place to go to.

I made an appointment and Ive still been waiting half an hour with no end in sight. You have to use their ATM if you dont bring cash. Giving 3 stars because it looks like they do good work and are reasonably priced. But, not very good service at all.

Im absolutely in pain from this pedicure experience. I had a young man perform a pedicure on me. He was very rude, loud and unprofessional. He answered personal calls and was unaware of the my pain when I expressed he was scrubbing my arches raw for a heel treatment. When he cut my cuticle it bled and also burned my foot with the hot lotion. I have blisters forming as I type this. I have never experienced this type of service anywhere. This is absolutely unacceptable. Please do not spend on over priced services here because quality and professionalism is considerably lacking.

With an Instagram page, it definitely wasn’t worth the hype. Made an appointment days in advance & they had me wait an hour before seating me for a full set & pedicure. Full set was poorly done, and cost me $67!

I arrived for my appointment and waited 50minutes before leaving. If you are busy, please do not schedule me and waste my time! Very disappointed and will not be coming back.

Got on the waitlist online and was texted and told to arrive in 30 minutes. We arrived exactly 30 minutes later for 2 pedicures. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. Then they put cold water in the bowl and told us they would fix it, which took 30 minutes.. then waited another 45 to even start the pedicure. I counted 4 people walk in after with no appointment and get started on right away. Total wait time was an hour and 15 minutes then they rushed through our pedicures. I’ve tried multiple times but it’s no use. I will not be coming back.

I’ve been meaning to try this place! Finally it’s back open! It was so worth the visit.They welcome walk-ins, along with appointments. I was able to get seated right away. Variety of colors to choose from. Staff kept it professional, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The ambiance felt relaxing and super clean nail salon compared to others here in Bakersfield.With COVID, there are new guidelines and rules. They’re spacing all the clients out, sanitizing, masks are mandatory, IT IS SAFE. It’s so important to know these changes and this salon follows the guidelines to keep the clients safe. Way nice...... But very fast job

So I simply asked if they could do a design on one nail and he rudely said no, so I asked if I could just have the tips painted and he said they couldn’t do that either. I’ve never had issues like that anywhere else and also my nail polish is chipping really bad already and I paid extra for gel. Definitely not going back. Would not recommend

Im so picky about my nails, and when my regular nail shop permanently shut down due to the pandemic, i decided to give Crown Royal a shot and im soooooo glad that i did! Betty is amazing with acrylic, I never have any lifting! Soooooo many gel and powder color choices, super clean establishment, friendly employees. Just make sure you pre-book your appointment, or your wait time will likely be long. I book mine online a couple days before and I get right in. You wont be disappointed!

Change my review! I had appt scheduled. Went to my appointment time. Manicurist Bety took someone in front on me who tried to make appt thus morning. Admitted she didnt receive confirmation over my appt that was scheduled for 2 days! Not going back

I like this nail shop. Top quality and very nice staff. Mia is the best but shes booked all the time so I went to whoever was available and was not disappointed. It can be a little pricey but worth it.

First time went in for 2 pedicures and were done at different times. No communication. Decided to give it a try again. Put us in chairs said 20 minute wait didn’t run water 40 mins later not a word so walked out

Mia did my nails and was amazing, professional and sweet. She knew what I wanted and was able to assist. She was detailed and quick. There was no waiting time and they were very attentive.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! They use MMA acrylic which is really bad for your nails. i got my nails done over 2 weeks ago. Took me ALMOST 4 HOURS to remove my nails (YES I AM TRYING EVERY METHOD) because they decide to use a cheap illegal product. Also when i was in the process of getting them done, they were coming out crooked so i corrected him nicely asking him to fix them & shortly after that he became very rude and rough with my nails. overall, don’t recommend them. save your money

On July 9th my family & I had a terrible experience at the Crown Royal at Gosford. We had a scheduled appointment for five pedicures. Four of us waited for 45 minutes until they attended us. However, they had my mom wait 1hour and 10 minutes before they attended her. They ignored her & I asked one of the nail techs why my mom was being ignored. He said, “where is your mother” & I turned to my mom who was right next to me. He said we will get to her soon, she’s next.She was waiting patiently with her feet soaked in cold water. I tried my best to give them the benefit of the doubt since there was 4 of us receiving a pedicure.However, as soon as a Caucasian woman walked into the salon they attended to her & started her pedicure. Keep in mind my mom was up next.After, I left I reached out to the manager Kevin & explained to him the situation. He said that he would give me & my family a 30% discount next time & that he was truly sorry & it won’t happen again.However, I called him today to schedule an appointment & he told me that he couldn’t give my family discounts even after he promised me he would.Kevin & his employees need to work on treating people of color with more dignity & respect.

Good place to go if you are Caucasian otherwise poor service. I went with my mother with an appointment and they had us waiting with our feet in the water. meanwhile a Caucasian lady came in with no appointment and got seated and attended right away!

Not sure if it was just the day or if it happens all the time. I made an appointment and waited almost an hour without service and my feet in water. Paid 55.00 for a pedicure and it felt it was basic for the price.

This shop is ok its really big and theyre pedicure chairs look really comfortable. Im real picky about my nails Ive been going to the same place, same nail tech for almost 8 years. I really needed my nails done because I had an interview and they were looking bad like a month and a half past a fill bad.They are Covid-19 compliant as any one place can be I would definitely go there again if I needed to.

Walked in wanting my acrylic nails off & a gel manicure. Walked out with my fingers being so sore & not happy with the work that was done on me. The guy who worked on me, he seemed like he had no idea what he was doing.

Outdoors but sheltered with cooling elements. Regular pedi type chairs. Everything cleaned between clients. Also got gel mani. I only dealt with men. 1 spoke good English the other not so well but we managed to communicate.

Cindy is my go to for my mani and pedis! Shes always super sweet and knows exactly how I want them done. Definitely recommend coming here for your services you wont be disappointed

I went in today, 3-15-2020, for a pedicure. I was seated right away because it was slow.Dawn did my pedicure and did an AMAZING job! He was extremely delicate, patient, and takes pride in his work. Before doing anything else, he made sure I was happy with his work before starting to polish my nails. I will return back to him! Thank you Dawn! :)

Experienced a very relaxing gel mani/gel pedi. polish application was PERFECTION! highly recommend people incorporate Crown Royal Nails as part of their self care regimen.

Good place for a pedicure but there is a wait as a walk in customer

I had came in earlier at 2pm for a gel pedicure and I got told they only take appointments so I proceeded to make an appointment at 4:30. I arrived at 4:20 and got told to wait in my car to receive a text. Once it hit 4:40 I wasn’t going to wait in my car anymore so I came in and picked my color. I didn’t get my service until 6pm, mind you 2 people walked out because of them not being on time.

I started coming here 2 years ago when they opened their location on stockdale. Where I met my favorite mail tech CeCe (Cindy). So once she moved locations, I obviously was going to follow wherever she went. Cindy is definitely your girl, very precise and thorough in what she does! She makes great conversation, gets to know you, and makes it fun! She’s also crazy talented and had a good steady hand. I’ve never had any issues at this location in terms of wait or anything like that. Cindy, Mia and the crew are on it! I liked how cleaned they kept the salon as well as their tools. And extra bonus for all the procedures they put in place forCOVID! I was able to make it in before they were closed due to covid; I appreciated the temp checks and hands free menus, etc. I’ll continue to fo to crown royal (especially as long as Cindy is around 😝)

The only salon I trust to get my nails done! I come in at least once a month to get a gel mani/pedi and I ALWAYS leave satisfied with beautiful nails!! CeCe takes her time to make sure my natural nails are protected and not over filed. I’ve come in the salon requesting lemons, ombré, and other intricate designs and she ‘nails’ it lol (usually doing it freehand as well). She will not let you leave the salon unless you are completely in LOVE with your nails! I’ve recommended several friends to the salon and now they are regulars too! CeCe is super sweet and the salon is always clean. I won’t go anywhere else😊💅🏻

If you dont know their language is hard for them or you to understand and I noticed that they take a shortcut if they can get away with it still want them as they begin to soak my feet they thought they were going to soak it in just water until I ask them where was the thought or the Jets and as I sit there and watch the next person come in they soak their feet in warm water and then proceeded to work on them didnt put the jetty in didnt put the salt in also theyre slow I wont be going back there

Terrible. I had two different people do my nails and told both of them several times that my nails were crooked and neither of them did anything about it. The first lady that did my nails paid no attention to what she was doing at all

Had such a great experience after having a terrible one at another salon. Went in to get a pedicure with an ingrown nail and remove the terrible job done a week ago at the other salon. Each person that tried to remove that awful black powder was easy and caring making sure to make them look right. I walked out of there satisfied with my new pedicure. They took their time to make sure i was satisfied. Will make this my regular go to nail salon.

So today 2/26/20 decided to try this new location. Waited 30 minutes to be asked what I needed and was asked to take a seat on a chair waited another 25 minutes. Finally the nail tech that was doing my nail did such a horrible job. Kept asking her if she was going to leave my nails like that she told me I am tired have not taken lunch if you dont like it sorry. Asked her for her name gave me a totally different name than what her receipt said. Called asked for the manager that I knew was there that was Mia told me she is not here right after I left so the I asked if I can speak to Kevin also was told he was not there. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Sad to say all locations they have are all the same poor service. And now the gel nail polish is chipping off.

I decided to get both new set of acrylic nails with design and a gel pedicure on Sunday 2/16/20. Today is Wednesday 2/19 and 2 nails have already fallen off I had foil strip for one of the designs THAT came off too. Horrible quality for the value. Good thing I went in with their 20% off offer all services because my total would have been nearly $100. Very disappointed overall for them being a new nail salon. Knowing Mia has a couple other salons is very upsetting. Youd think the quality would be better or they would use high quality stuff for the price you pay. I just dont understand.
