1 year post-op with the Sleeve and couldn’t be happier! As of today, I am 101 lbs down from my highest weight back in November 2019.Dr Naik’s expertise, professionalism, honesty, bedside manner, and attention-to-detail made the last year and a half’s success that much more possible! I was recommended to Dr Naik because he was “thorough” with his pre-surgery tests and labs. This is definitely the truth! I wanted a doctor who would make sure I was ready and healthy before surgery and take care of me afterwards. Dr. Naik definitely was meticulous with my labs and tests, which made me feel safe and more confident leading up to surgery. Dr. Naik explained every step to me, answered my questions, redirected, and encouraged along the way.The 6 month pre-surgery program required by my insurance was an important step! Dr Naik gave me the knowledge/tools I needed to prepare myself for my life change during this time which helped jumpstart my success.I had my surgery in May 2020 — right in the middle of the COVID-19 shutdown. I was one of the first elective surgeries after the initial shutdown. Day of surgery, I was extremely nervous in general; especially because I could not have any guests in the hospital because of hospital guidelines at the time. Dr. Naik took the time to come see me before the surgery and talked to me a little bit. He listened to my worries, acknowledged them, and reassured me. It was comforting that he took the time to do that for me.If you are considering weight loss surgery, I highly recommend Dr Naik as your surgeon. If you put in the work, he will help you get to the finish line.
