The most unprepared Apple Store Ive ever been to. You would do the walk in line faster than the pick up line, staff helping people with orders of people that just showed up or have appointments 4 hours early while everyone who showed up at the designated time is waiting 30+ minutes to get served. Easily 5-6 employees just walking around asking if youve already been helped but also cant actually help you with anything. Security guards walking up to multiple people who have been in line over 20 minutes asking them repeat questions as if they actually have anything to do besides stand there. Literal joke of an operation to whoever manages this location.
The Apple store is always awesome! The staff are knowledgeable and help you get to the problem that your product is having. I love to check out the new products. Fun even to window shop.
Very nice indoor mall. You couldnt tell from the outside just how big it was. Lots of stores open. Food court was clean. Restaurants was serving up plenty food. The restrooms were clean and sanitized. Nice visit@.😁
I went in on Wednesday because my phone was not working after I spent two hours on the phone with Apple support. I get there after 5 and the guy told me he can’t do anything and to get an apt I have to come in at 10am next day to schedule same day appt I work 8-5 and that’s just not possible for me. I explained it was a work phone and he just didn’t care.I came back in Saturday after being left without a phone for two days and they set me an appt the girl was the sweetest! She also explained that for situations like work phones there should have been something that could have been done that day! And the tech who assisted me in fixing my phone was also GREAT!.. once we were finishing up this lady came in and said her phone didn’t work and didn’t mind waiting the same guy who told me no for same day appointments told her yes and she came after 5... They also told me all the appointments for Saturday were booked I was the last appointment they filled. I wish I would have gotten that guys name! Regardless that was unfair and I was just as nice to him as she was.

I was entering into another realm of reality it seemed. Ive never stepped foot into the Apple Store before but I will again you better believe that. I felt like I was a VIP of some sort and I have nothing but good things to say about the customer service and what I experienced from the Genius Bar is exactly what one would expect from Apple so I dont have any other options but to put my stamp of Highly Recommended for this review. And as a side note, Valley Plaza was looking fresh and clean so anyone with viral or bacterial infection concerns should be able to feel quite comfortable while inside the mall of BAKERSFIELD.

My handicapped special needs brother made an appointment to get his phone fixed and when we got to the store they had it for the wrong time. Even so we were just 15 minutes late by their record and they refused to take his phone and could/would not even let us reschedule the appointment. Absolute horrible way to treat customers.
Nice staff but to many people
They set an appointment for 6 45 and I even asked to leave work early. When I get there they tell me they moved the appointment to early and since I wasnt there I would need to reschedule for another day. Horrible service

Why do you have to make and appointment just to purchase an apple product. It makes no since to schedule a purchase when your right there. Im sorry Im not coming back in an hour and 45 minutes when I can walk around to theATT store to pick up a watch.

Customer service is 0 star. Im not an apple user but want to purchase a gift. They said I must make an appointment, to do that I have to have an apple account. Told the person on the phone that I dont have an apple account just trying to buy a gift & he responds with Just make one then I asked if there are any availability, he said he didnt know that I would find out after I made the account. Thanks for no help dude. Do they have you answering the phone to push customers away. I guess thats what happens when a company makes so much money & employees are not paid commission. This is why I do not like Apple.
This place is totally the worst place to go if you need help with fixing your devices!!They will always making excuses instead of trying to fixes the issues that you are having smh
They don’t care for first responders, I need my phone for work and all they can say is I have to make an appointment which is a weeks wait. All I need is a simple phone swap since my phone is still under warranty. There’s 7 employees not doing anything just walking around looking bored and 1 employee even dancing her shift away!
If your reading this please do not invest in Apple I had a app with a subscription I uninstalled the app but Apple auto renews all subscriptions. Now I’m unable to download and update apps even if they are free. When speaking with Apple support they said I’d have to pay for the renews and NOW they’ll stop auto renew. Please don’t get taken advantage of by Apple they are making money off customers not protecting them!
I spent the entire day trying get my iPhone 11pro from T-Mobile and was told I would wait anywhere from 2 days to 4 weeks. I walked into the Apple store was greeted in less then a minute of walking in. Was instant told they had the phone I wanted, gave me fair trade in value and got set up financing threw Apple and got a lower payment then T-Mobile. Amazing service help transferring old phone to new and everything.
They should just say everyone have to make a appointment and call it a day. Tried to walk on they said it was a 3 hour wait.

Love this store, employees greet you always happy to see and assist you. If I ever have questions that’s the store to go to, they also provide classes daily on how to operate there phones and other products. I recommend this store
The floors are sticky but the atmosphere is nice and kinda lonely during the pandemic. A lot like my love life.

The people at the Apple store are very helpful. Their service is top notch and they seem to genuinely care. I was talking to the service rep about various items and the customer service rep was very well versed in all things not just Apple stuff. If you are in need of a new battery setup an appointment they will take care of you.
Nice place as malls go. Small food court but lots of stores. Good area for walking winter and summer. Get your steps here. Good selection of stores. Here today for the Apple store. Great staff, ask for Annie. Stores are covenien and design is well thought out. Clean and pleasant environment.

Automated answering voice understands very little. Finally went to wait for real person. Asked if I wanted music or no music. I tapped for no music and got music. Waited quite a while and no one answered. Apple clearly does not value customers time.

I was a fan of apple products but after my experience at there store I have change my opinion about the company. I recently visited the apple store within Bakersfield and the employees were rude. I will no longer be buying apple products after my experience and its a shame because I actually enjoyed the interface of the apple products. I bought myself a Samsung and called it a day.

Made an appointment for 2:10 wasn’t seen until 3:00. I have things to do. I understand like a 10 min wait but 50 min??? Not happy. I make appointment to keep up with my other appointments.
Depending on your experience to get helps and/or approaching apple workers, i assume some of you say help from apple workers is kinda ok and some of you say help from apple workers is good. For me as deaf lady, apple wormers done their best to help like other phone and internet companies. Apple workers are very paitence explaining what apple technique phone policies, for example, iforget.apple.com. they done good work with apple process to be new member as the particitpant in apple company.
Please stop with the bull and open up and let customers shop.

The level of frustration of trying to get a question answered was below a 1 star. However when I got to the store I was met with very enthusiastic and helpful people. The technician that helped me was possibly the nicest and efficient young man. He had the patience of a saint since I am technologically challenged. Very good experience. Only deducted star because of length of time getting an appointment.
My iPhone needed a new battery and my volume button wouldn’t click.A lady took it to the back and acted like they tried to fix it, but she said my phone was a bit bent so they were not able to do it. They were asking me to give them my phone and pay 330 for another phone.Therefore, I ordered a new battery, and installed it myself with no problem. The volume button wouldn’t work because of a lose screw, not because it was bent. It was an easy fix, but they wanted me to buy a new iPhone.

They have great Apple iPhone’s but my dad says they make you wait to long and sometimes they can’t even fix your phone !
I love this store and the service! Greg who works there fixed up my MacBook Pro in just 20 minutes with absolutely no charge at all! I’m so happy with how my first visit turned out. :)
Service people was nice but store employees were talking for several minutes with other employees before helping you. Also, they are very pushy for getting new devices versus fixing the old device. A $35 dollar fix is not the same as a new $1000 device
Pretty big mall, has a lot of stores to chose from. The food court is decent size also.
It is not a good experience for the disabled. They have the handicap parking blocked off to offer Paid Valet Parking. This causes the disabled to be farther from the door. Other than that the mall is a good place to shop and window shop, especially right now for the Christmas Season.
Unbelievably poor customer service. I have never been treated with such arrogance and attitude in my life. Jason, who was helping me with a product I had just purchased, was so impatient, so rude, and had such attitude, I had to stop the setup process. I had more things I needed to buy, but I felt so humiliated, I left in tears. I am going to return the product I purchased, and switch to PC. Nothing is worth the terrible treatment I received.
I have tried seven time since October to contact the Apple Store in Bakersfield. The automated concierge is tedious at best, unable to put me in the queue to wait for the next customer service representative, and I always wind up getting the same message: Due to high call volume, we are unable to answer your call right now. Please try back again later. Goodbye. No matter what time of the day or evening I call, I get the same response every time. If this is indicative of the customer service I can expect after shelling out money for their products, Im no longer interested in anything they have to sell.

Staff is helpful but you can get better prices at other locations. If you need any service done on your Apple products or have any questions this would be one of the best places. I can not tell you how many times something was wrong with my laptop or phone and this Apple store came through and fixed any issues I had.
I have had nothing but great experiences at this Apple Store. Yes, it can take a while to be helped at the genius bar but that is the glory of making an appointment. They have taken care of me for an issue with my iPhone and when my hard drive crashed(luckily I had my computer backed up on to a portable hard drive, which I recommend if you dont want to lose all your data). Im sold on the value that they offer after my experience today, and wont own anything other than apple for my phones, tablets, and computers.
Super busy! I prefer to research on the internet and then only go in to purchase once Im confident I know what Ill get. The staff are very friendly despite the wait times and make everyone welcome

They are extremely slow at this location for repairs. After fast customer service times in Orlando and Los Angeles area locations with minimal waiting and alot more customers at those locations this location needs to speed things up and quit making customers wait for an hour just to be seen by someone to look at it and say yes glass is broke we can fix it when thats why you brought it in the first place.
Dont bother calling about anything. Waited till 4:20 when its supposedly not so busy. Phone rang 25 times, no one picked up, then it hung up on me. No help there. FAIL
The wait was longish but I mean I drove 3 hours to get there so it wasnt that bad lol. As soon as I got in they were like ok here it is Im done. Fixed my daughters phone in like 5 minutes. And I dont even do apple but great job yall.
Wonderful store as always the associates were more then help full almost like if they were being fake but they are just too polite cant complain always in and out and all the new products are just jaw dropping

Waiting time to make an appointment is ridiculous and the HAL computer answering doesn’t direct you to the proper place. Wise up, Apple, you need to make everything user friendly. I’ve spent over twenty minutes on threes attempts to make an appointment and my wasted thirty minutes with no resolution.
My son broke his phone signed inn at 10 am. 2 pm and they kept moving me back.. employees are not very bright. If you see a fully shattered phone? Exchange it and charge what ever not keep pushing the client back.. I have 7 company phones all I phones.. I will be exchanging them to Android phones.. due to poor i phone service.
I made an appointment for 3:00. I checked in with the greeter and was told to go to the genius bar. After several other people had sat down and had been helped after I sat down, I asked one of the reps when I might be helped. I was told I needed to check in with George. George told me my appointment was cancelled because I had not shown up. He put me back on the list and said it would be about 10 minutes. After waiting another 15 minutes and 5 (yes FIVE) other customers came and sat down at the genius bar and were being helped, I left the store. I also noticed that friends of the geniuses were helped as soon as they sat down at the bar. I called to talk to the manager, Keith, and was told he wasnt available to talk to me.
My experiences at Apple stores around the world has been outstanding. The Bakersfield CA store missed the mark. On November 16, 2017 the staff members I conversed with were not knowledgeable on current products and seemed untrained. It seemed like the staff wanted to dispose of you vice answering questions and helping a customer find the solution they need .
BKFD Apple Store is nice. Wish they would provide plain/no logo bags to hide your high dollar purchases. Walking through the mall and parking lot with an Apple bag is asking for thieves to rob you.

I came here to eat with my son, we had a great day. I ate some teriyaki chicken at Japan something. He ate chicken teriyaki, orange chicken, chow mein & rice at Panda Express. The restrooms there are clean and accessible to the public and great seating for all the restaurants that are located there. I even bought some makeup there that I bought off of some guys selling samples of makeup

APPLE HAS SOME REALLY GOOD PRODUCTS COMING OUT. SOME THINGS I Couldnt AFFORD LIKE THE $1,200 CELL PHONE THEY HAD. BUT I AM WANTING TO GET A NEW TABLET FROM APPLE AND A NEW IPOD FOR MUSIC. SOME OF APPLE PRODUCTS ARE SO EXPENSIVE I CANT AFFORD THEM. I REALLY HOPE THEY HAVE A POOR MANS LINE OF PRODUCTS LOL. I HAVE NEVER OWNED AN APPLE PRODUCT THAT I BOUGHT. I ONLY HAD AN OLD 2008 iPod THAT WAS BORROWED. AND then A 2011 year IPOD THAT A FRIEND GAVE ME and I think I still have them. But I really want a new APPLE tablet.
Terrible customer service. I just wanted to drop off my phone to get the screen crack repaired. Take your time and Ill pick it up when you call me. I saidThe answer was No. Had to wait 45 minutes just to talk to somebody. Wouldnt let me drop it off. Wouldnt let me talk to anyone.Next available appointment online is 5 days away?? Ridiculous.Oh, and the Kiosk 10 steps away will fix it in 30 minutes while I wait. Cmon Bakersfield Apple. Theres gotta be a better way than this.
I was so excited that you came to Bakersfield, but I sure hate your location.I am tired of being accosted by the kiosk sales people. I just want to go to your store and do my business with you, not ward off all the other viper vendors on the way in...Once I get there, always a great experience, each time I come it gets worse on the way in :(
I really cant recall a time Ive been greeted by so many friendly and helpful people! Everyone was polite and knowledgeable, even when I had to come back and ask another question. The lady at the front door was amazing and I liked the way they quietly contacted each other when they needed to get more information for me. JJ and Jasmine stand out, but honestly everyone was helpful. I admit, after reading the reviews of this location I was scared to come in, but Im glad I trusted my opinion about how Apple runs their stores and treats their people. Apple Forever xoxox!

Great service at this store. We are visiting from Canada and really rely on my iphone for MAPS & comms with back home so I was really concerned when My iPhone 6 just stopped responding. Was given an appt time in 3 hours but no problem, it’s in a pretty big, nice mall so time passed quickly. Anthony correctly diagnosed the problem with my phone and within 1 hour I was leaving the store with my phone back up and running and with some new operating tips & info. Great service by a very knowledgeable and friendly technician. I will definitely return and absolutely recommend this store. Thank you Anthony.

I just wasted an hour and a half at the Apple store in Bakersfield. When I first walked in I didnt know where to go so Im wasting time with that. When someone finally tells me that I need to speak with someone with a blue shirt, I went to them and was told that an appointment wasnt available for 3 weeks but it I could wait about an hour and 15 minutes, they would text me. When I went back an hour and a half later, I was told that it will be another hour and a half. This place is set up to serve children whose time is of no value. Im very disappointed with the lack of service.
I took my broken iPad, we received a replacement and great service from a very knowledgeable and friendly rep. Just make sure you make an app. and get there on time. Thanks !!
