READ THIS :/ sadly it’s important.I have had acrylic/dip nails nonstop for three years, and I have NEVER seen this. I am writing this at 2am, I have been up all night actually crying tears in pain trying not to wake up my boyfriend. I put a 🚨 at the important part:First off, Ann, if you’re reading this, I’m sure you mean well, but please take more care in what you’re doing. I wouldn’t be posting this if it wasn’t so serious. Ann is a sweet person, and I was excited to have a nail salon within walking distance... if only she were a good nail technician.I just moved here. I went once, and noticed that rather than soaking my dip nails, she filed them with the machine, and it bothered my nails a bit. The next week I broke two nails. This was unusual, I don’t ever break nails, especially the day after getting them done. I realize now it was because she had filed my natural nail to about 1/2 it’s width. Not knowing anything was seriously wrong at this point, I went to to her to get them off and opted for acrylics (since those are stronger). She started to soak them, but she then proceeded to file them until I was in excruciating burning pain. I kept my mouth shut thinking it was going to be fine, she did some more soaking, 🚨I didn’t realize anything was wrong, until my nails started bleeding, NOT from the sides, but a pool of blood came from the CENTER of my nail. Shocked, I began to feel my nails, they were all tender to the touch, that’s when I realized Ann had essentially FILED OFF ALL MY NATURAL NAILS down to the bed of skin, leaving thin flaps for nails to hardly cover (and not cover in some places). I was devastated at that point, but there was no going back, all I could do was let her finish. I considered telling her to stop, but leaving them bare with the raw skin would be borderline dangerous. I told her what she had done and she said “you have naturally thin nails,” and when I pointed to the blood she said “that’s because you already had broken it” (it wasn’t even one of the nails I had broken, and we all know broken nails don’t bleed from the middle-up). Also, I’ve had acrylics for three years, and no, I don’t have thin nails. She covered the bloody spots with glue (what) and proceeded to create the acrylics. Now it’s like you would never know, except for the burning pain most of my fingers are now in. It’s been getting progressively worse all day and now at 2am I am actually crying, and one of my finger tips has turned a bit purple and I had to wrap it in a bandaid to keep pressure on it. This is going to be a sleepless night and a painful month.

I was driving by and decided to stop in. Ann was able help me despite me not having an appointment. She was professional and nice. I will definitely visit again.

Ann is absolutely amazing! This was my first time going there, she went out of her way to squeeze me in. But she also took the time to not rip off my acrylics like most places. She never once got agitated with me or irritated in anyway. Definitely will be back and will recommend this place to everyone!

I asked for a slight arch and she literally ripped off my eyebrows and made them pencil thin....also she burned my skins with that super hot and dry wax....idk how the the nails are but but please do not let your eyebrows get done by that out of style servoce

My Mom and I have been coming here for 15 years and it’s the best place I have ever been to. It CLEAN and extremely WELL VENTILATED, SERVICE IS A 10 out of 10. Try it you will never go anywhere else. Family owned and operated. On a personal level Ann is an angel of person that loves her family and children. Great.

My nails were filed very thin. She doesn’t soak to start only uses an electric file. The polish was not one to the sides and when I mentioned it she asked me which one. I would think as a professional would no but she did not seem concerned about correcting it. My nails were healthy when I went and now I will have to work to get them back that way. I am majorly disappointed

My daughter and I are doing our nails by Anna for about a year now and we are very happy with her job. She has a very reasonable prices also. We will recomend her 100%.

I am writing this review as I am sitting here getting my pedicure done, what can I say Ann did a beautiful job on my nails and a young man gave me a super relaxing pedi, and my toes look even! So I very much recommend 😊 Ann is very nice lady, will be coming here from now on 🙌🏼

I love Anna! I have been seeing her for about a year now and I have never had a bad experience with her work. I get compliments all the time about how great my nails look. She is very creative with design for toes, too. For Christmas she did a snowman on my toe. Too cute. She is even willing to polish my 5 year olds nails, and she usually has to fix them at least once before we leave because she is always bumping them before they dry. Give Ann Nails a try, you will be back!

They got me in first thing and did the cutest tiny get design on my toes, since Im pregnant and delivering soon. $20-$40 for pedis. Worth it though!

Yesterday I went into Ann’s yesterday to get a new full set, as ann was doing my nails she kept cutting me and when i would tell her shes cutting me she would laugh and continue. After i had washed my hands so she could paint my nails she put glue inside the nails i have never seen anyone do this, my nails hurt so bad i cant so anything and the cuts burn so bad.

My wife has been a loyal customer of Ann for many years, even when we had to drive from Desert Ridge north Phoenix for her fingernails and pedicure.

Ann is pleasant, prices are reasonable. I have been going there for years even after moving to El Mirage. I would recommend Ann Nails.

Sooo I could have gave it a one star for sure but decided to be nice and give it 2 because she is a really nice lady.... but where should I start... she stayed late for us which I do appriciate but my nails are crooked and I payed 40 bucks my best friends are uneven and she even sliced her finger while trimming them down.... soooo no I’m not okay with this place..

I love getting my nails done with Ann, her shop is so relaxing n so pretty. Dhe is so friendly.

I didn’t get what I paid for, nail tip too thick and nails too long I asked for them to be cut back and she wouldn’t cut them back for me. Ann said I would have ugly nails if she did that for me and while she was filing the nails she cut the side of my finger and all she said was “sorry” and kept going. I want my money back, highly unsatisfied and disappointed.

I have been going to see Ann for the last anout 12 yrs for my mani and pedi. At one point i moved out of the area and tried to go to another salon but I was not happy with the results. I will gladly drive for the great service, very clean and friendly salon.

Went here based on Google rating and reviews. Hmmmm... perhaps it was an off day for Ann. This was my first (and last time) I entered into an empty as salon, picked out my colors, still no one else but me. Im looking for a bell to ring or something. Finally out comes Ann. We did a full, new set and pedicure. She is pleasant enough, pedicure was fine except I have no idea what kind of flower she was trying to design. A for effort? She doesnt do designs, really, and she couldnt do chrome or iridescent nails. I heard, we dont have that color about 4 times before i gave up and took what she had. No where near the color of my other nails. #failAt the moment the techs ask you to look at your nails and if theyre ok, I told her my nails were crooked, she told me because my nail beds are crooked. LOL.. UMMMM NO. Nail techs always compliment my nail beds and seem to get the nails not leaning like the towers of Pisa. She sorta straightened them out. 3 days later a nail gets a hairline crack in the middle on the side. Slightly hit it, BOOM, nail cracks all the way across and there goes the blood along with my nail tip. I continue on my search for a nail salon to call home.
