I want to highly recommend Austin LSAT prep. The personal attention was amazing and the effort put forth in order to help me was extraordinary. I was not sure what my chances were of getting into a highly rated law school. Dr. Amar is phenomenal teacher. Elaine provided much needed support and guidance. Her input helped me to prepare personal statements that really told my story and led to me getting an acceptance to a law school almost immediately. I cannot say enough good things about Austin LSAT prep. I am glad that I trusted them to help me with this complex process.

Dr. Amar is fantastic! I did the individual tutoring hours. He analyzed my needs and created a plan specific to me. You immediately feel that he is genuinely invested in your progress. It was easy to find times to meet, and he was willing to work around my schedule. HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Amar is a wonderful instructor. My first practice test was 155, and my LSAT score was 173. This class was extremely helpful. If you have time to do nothing else, TAKE THIS CLASS. You will learn all the basics and the instructor is very willing to help you with absolutely anything that is especially difficult for you. It is somewhat informal, meaning you only focus on what the majority of the class is having difficulty with. This is great in my opinion. If you need extra help, I have seen the instructor stay late with a student or begin instructing early. It is truly catered to you and your needs. He has a very intuitive understanding of the test, not like some of the books that have die-hard strategies, some of which can actually be detrimental to your performance. I recommend taking this class and completing as many timed practice tests as you can. You absolutely will improve. Good luck!

I came to Dr. Amar for some 1-on-1, very targeted help. Having already taken the LSAT once, I knew my weaknesses. Dr. Amar was able to help me develop strategies to push my score up to its fullest potential, whereas other courses I had asked could not help me tailor strategies past the ~165 level.

Dr. Amar is an excellent LSAT tutor. I did very poorly my first time I took my LSAT score and then scored 23 points higher the next time I took the LSAT because of Dr. Amars personalized teachings, insightful strategies and well-tested concepts. Im now finishing my final year of law school. Dr. Amars class are small yet thorough in providing students with the right material to excel on the LSAT. I highly recommend him for anyone in the Austin, TX area or willing to commute there. His class schedule is very flexible. Absolutely recommend Dr. Amar. Thank you sir.

Dr. Amar helped me immensely in preparing for not only the LSAT, but the entire law school application process. With his help I was able to get a good enough LSAT score to get into a Tier 1 School despite a low Undergrad GPA. I highly recommend the class!

Before working with Dr. Amar at Austin LSAT prep, I had taken an LSAT prep course through Kaplan. I was told that with the Kaplan course, I would have great success and that my score would increase drastically. More than halfway through the course and my score remained the exact same. I did not improve at all and actually felt like I might be getting worse. A neighbor reached out and told me about Austin LSAT prep, and within 3 weeks, my LSAT score raised 6 points. Dr. Amar is fantastic. He genuinely cares about his students and wants them all to succeed. He is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that his students see results. Please do not waste your time on any other prep course and use Dr. Amar through Austin LSAT prep. You will not regret it!!

This course is extremely helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about it. Dr. Amar is a very intellectual professor with a great deal of experience. I started this course knowing little to nothing about the LSAT exam, or the law school application process for that matter; i just had a goal in which i wanted to achieve.. i took a one month 1 on 1 tutoring course, and i came home with the knowledge i needed to succeed in the LSAT, and my application process. Once the course was over Dr. Amar and i would stay in touch and he would still advice me, mentor me, and even help me with tasks like reviewing my personal statement, and all free of charge; he really wants to see his students succeed. I applied to 3 different law schools in Texas, and got accepted into all three, and I will attend Saint Marys University School of Law this coming fall. i highly recommend this class to anyone who is planning in going to law school and taking the LSAT

Small group classes that cover basic question strategies and 10 practice tests. Dr. Amar introduces straightforward and useful strategies in the first two classes and the remainder of the classes are used to review PTs. I recommend answering the practice tests on a separate sheet and using the class as blind review. If you are PTing high already, you may want to consider private sessions with Dr. Amar to focus on the questions really giving you trouble. Depending on your classmates, you may spend a lot of time talking about things you dont necessarily need to review, but I expect this would happen in any group prep course. The schedule of the class was helpful to force me to do PTs at least twice a week, and Dr. Amar was great at explaining and talking through concepts patiently. I would recommend this class.

When I first began preparing for the LSAT exam I was consistently scoring in the 155-160 range. After a summer prep session with Dr. Amar, I saw my score dramatically increase; I was averaging scores in the low 170s. Dr. Amar is extremely intelligent, yet his ability to articulate the LSAT material and strategies are one of the many things that set him apart from the rest. Dr. Amar is dedicated to seeing his students succeed and his efforts to accommodate students need on an individual basis are admirable. After receiving a displeasing score on the September LSAT (158), Dr. Amar encouraged me and helped me develop an alternate strategy that allowed me to achieve a 168 on the December LSAT. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Amar and Austin LSAT Prep. He has played an integral role in the pursuit of my desired LSAT score and thus my education. I wholly recommend this LSAT prep course with absolutely zero hesitancies. I guarantee the services of this course and I have the numbers to prove it.

Dr. Amar is a great teacher who understands the concepts and ideas behind the LSAT. You can get lots of theories and ideas from books, however, Dr. Amar breaks it down to fundamentals and how to get to the core of the question without wasting your precious mental space with too complex theories.

I found Dr. Amars LSAT prep class the night that I recieved my December LSAT score while searching the Internet. I didnt get the score I needed for the law schools that I wanted to attend so I decided to try a prep course before retaking it again in February. I texted him the night before the class started and was able to begin the class the next day! I improved my score by 8 points! The class began on time everyday and Dr. Amar was always available before and after to answer questions. I am so glad that I took his course and would recommend it to anyone planning to take the LSAT. Ill be starting law school in the Fall of 2016!

Tutoring one-on-one with Dr. Amar was incredibly helpful for me in my preparation for the LSAT. I interrupted a class with a larger prep company in order to move back to Texas, and while I felt somewhat prepared for the test, I was still extremely nervous and generally panicked. After my first session with Dr. Amar, I immediately felt as though I had an ally, and knew that he was going to help me wrap my hands around the test and take it with confidence.Dr. Amar identified question types with which I was struggling as well as patterns in my errors, and helped me to recognize and target them so that I could better handle them under time pressure. He also worked step-by-step with me through the logic games on my practice tests so that I could learn how to get through them faster and more efficiently.Over the course of a month, my practice test scores increased by an average of 4-5 points, and I was able to walk into the test feeling confident in my preparation. I dont know that anyone is ever relaxed walking into that exam, but I was at least at peace with my readiness and ability to take the test. For that, I am extremely grateful, and cannot thank or recommend Dr. Amar enough!

I signed up for an LSAT prep course with Kaplan, which was canceled, without warning, less than 48 hours before it was set to begin due to low enrollment. Luckily I found Austin LSAT Prep and Dr. Amar, who assured me that his class would not let me down.Dr. Amar offers small class sizes during which he designates equal time to each persons individual questions. The course materials are minimal, with an emphasis on reviewing actual tests previously adminiatered by the LSAC. The class takes a streamlined approarch to the LSAT with an emphasis on taking repeated practice tests, which are then reviewed and discussed in class. The atmosphere is casual and Dr. Amar offers private tutoring sessions for those needing additional clarification. A great alternative to Kaplan or Princeton Review/.

I tutored one-on-one with Dr. Amar for the LSAT, and he was absolutely wonderful. Before coming to Dr. Amar, I took a prep class from a major company and used their hired tutors, and I was unimpressed. Dr. Amar was much more encouraging, helpful, precise, and knowledgeable than anyone else I worked with. He had a precise, easily understandable answer to every question, and really helped me understand why each answer was correct or incorrect. I improved radically in Logical Reasoning (my worst section) and Reading Comprehension, using Dr. Amars specific methods.I was amazed at how consistent my score became. Dr. Amar encouraged me to take between 2-3 practice tests each week, and I ranged between 169-171 for an entire month (around 15 practice tests). I was nowhere near this consistent before I worked with Dr. Amar. I took the LSAT for the second time in February 2015 after tutoring with Dr. Amar, and my official score improved by 8 points. This was more than I had anticipated, and I was astonished. By all means, tutor with Dr. Amar! He was 5 stars in my book, and I would recommend him to anyone.
