Dropped off an entire apartment worth of clothing and bedding. Adel worked for two days to get it all done….we were first time customers and we felt like family. Clean and folded beautifully. Very fair price! Will be back on a weekly basis. And he has a great sense of humor!

I love this laundromat! I hate doing laundry but I really enjoy it when Im here. The owner/operator Adel is so kind and accommodating. The neighborhood and general vibe while inside is super chill. We just moved to this part of town and hadnt installed a washer/dryer in my rental yet. I decided to pop in here to do a quick load and have now been here every week since. I may not even buy the washer/dryer now. Laundromats usually stress me out but this one has the opposite effect. Doing laundry is very calming. And the food mart next door has good breakfast tacos! I rarely do online reviews but this place deserves a shout-out!

We live in the area and came here during a time when we were having issues with our plumbing. It was conveniently located, with parking, reasonably priced (front loaders were $3 for smaller wash/$4 for larger machine), quick (around 25 min for wash cycles - we didn’t need to use the dryers) and; felt friendly and safe.

Was traveling through town and ended up needing to do a quick load of laundry. This laundromat was close to our Airbnb so we dropped by. I cant say enough about how awesome they were. We had no detergent, quarters etc. but the owner immediately helped us out, got us everything we needed and made the experience so easy. We were in and out in no time. Thanks so much!!

I am so happy to find this place! Not too busy or hectic like some laundromats and the owner, Adel is SO nice and efficient! I had several loads of laundry and he personally helped me get it all done in record time and for a reasonable price!

Home dryer problems led me here. I took in one load of washed laundry that I stuck in their dryer and then a few other loads that I left with them for the wash and fold service. I was the only customer hanging out at that time while the two people working never stopped moving. If they werent tending to the laundry, they were tidying up the laundromat. About 5 hours after I gave them my order, I got a call that everything was ready. I cant get all of my own laundry done in 5 hours! When we get around to redoing our home, I can promise I will use either the laundromat or the wash and fold service for our laundry needs.

This place and s amazing. The owner was most helpful and kind. The place was super busy and he was busy helping everyone with their laundry. Ill not use any other place.

Customer service is everything! Adel is the kindest person we have met in Austin since we got here a couple weeks ago. My sister and i temporarily relocated to Austin and we had to look for a laundry service with a good reputation. Im a reviews kind of person, I always review places and I always rely on reviews while locating places and services. This laundromat had awesome reviews and they were all about Adel, the gentleman who works there full time. So we went there in the evening with 2 loads of laundry and the place was almost empty and Adel approached us, greeted us and helped us with maneuvering the Washing machines and even helping with change for the machines. He was kind enough to show us the ropes, advise us and even recommended some places to visit in Austin, good restaurants/food trucks, etc. We left for a short walk and when we came back to put our clothes in the dryer, Mr. Adel had already loaded them for us. How kind is this gentleman? The level of customer service he has is beyond measure and he has our business. We have recommended him and this laundromat to all our new friends in Austin and this is the only laundromat we will use from now henceforth. The machines are new and work great. The dryers take very little time to dry. The ambiance is good. It is not crowded at all. The neighborhood is also very nice and quiet. This is our new go-to laundry. Thanks Adel.

What a great find! My giant quilt doesnt fit in my machine at home and I hadnt washed it since before quarantine started...yikes! I finally ventured out to find a place to wash it. Adel was fantastic! I came to this service for fluff and fold due to the shining reviews, and now I see why and I will not be going anywhere else for fluff and fold. Adel greeted me and helped me carry my things inside. Then he asked specific questions about how I would like certain items cleaned, with which detergent or bleach and so on. He was warm, efficient, and professional. Cannot say about good things about him. Do not hesitate!

I work for myself and the laundry center at my complex is always so busy, and even if you get a washer the washing machines run about 2-3 hours so by the time Im done with laundry it takes about 8 hours of my day. Running back and forth drove me insane! I decided to look around for laundromat that was affordable and had a same day wash and fold option. I stumbled upon Michael A Laundromat. I brought my laundry in around 10:30am and it was done by 1pm! I came back and my laundry was folded beautifully and to my surprise he even hung up my dresses and jumpsuits. The attendant (probably owner as well, I assume?) was extremely attentive, helpful, kind, and solicitous. He offered to take care of it for me and managed every detail even though I went in there just to throw my stuff in and wait around. I was able to leave and get things done and come back a little before he told me it would be ready and it was all set and ready to go. He instantly recognized me (I find it so rare that business owners---though they just spoke with you minutes or hours earlier---recall you as a patron) and graciously showed me where my things were. He made sure I felt comfortable knowing everything of mine was there. All of my clothing is sparkling clean; and if I return to visit this neighborhood again, I wont hesitate to hand my laundry over!

This review is for the wash and fold service from Adel. When I went back to work after baby #2, I needed help. I tried several wash and fold options with poor results. Then I found Adel. He is the only one I trust with my laundry besides myself. I love that I can also send my own hangers. Everything comes back clean and its folded with care. Its such a huge help to my family and I highly recommend.

Amazing service! I came in to dry sheets and towels it only took about 20 minutes (super fast dry time). The guy working there (looked like the owner) even taught/helped me fold the sheets correctly.

Adele has changed my life. Is that too extreme for a Google review? Im not kidding. This gentleman is extremely nice, helps me carry my laundry inside and outside, gets it done faster than I could even hope for, is friendly, funny, and affordable. The laundromat itself is also excellent if you dont do the wash and fold and fold service. I have been to 1 million laundromats in Austin in my many years here and this is hands-down the best. Highly recommended to the point where you will do yourself a disservice if you dont at least try it once! PS, he will hang your clothes! Your nice ones at least, even if you dont have hangers with you. Be prepared to be pleased. And he will hang them up in your car. With a smile. He works really hard and is always there. OK thats enough extreme complementing for the day but I really mean it :-)

Worker stared at me the entire time I was there doing my laundry. Watching and observing my every move as if I don’t realize it. When my clothes were done washing I put them in the dryer and left. When I returned just an hour later he had taken them out and put them in a basket. This is a self service laundromat, NOT dry cleaners. Mind your own business and don’t touch my clothes!

Bright, clean, small. Not overwhelming. Pretty neighborhood. The gentleman that runs the business is incredibly attentive. He stops what hes doing to help you, is prepared and focused on his job and his customers. Makes doing a mundane task peaceful and enjoyable.

Best experience Ive had in a while and definitely deserving of a 5+ star review. The man that runs the laundromat helped me carry my laundry in and out, had quarters handy to load the machine with, helped me switch my clothes from the washer to the dryer and even helped me fold all my linens!

Super nice attendant, offered to help me get my laundry out of the car since i was washing a bunch of large items. also provided quarters and helped get it all loaded and started. Then he helped me move to the dryers which were reasonably priced and made change for me again, he even offered me dryer sheets. its a bit off the path and older, but the machines work, the price is about the same as other places Ive been, but the service cannot be beat! highly recommend!!!

Adeel is the most considerate, competent, well rounded person. He goes above and beyond all our expectations everytime we come. He helps with anything and everything you need. He has even offered to switch our laundry from the washer to the dryer and give us a text when its all done! You wont find find this kind of service and love anywhere else. This location is not the most convenient for us, but we refuse to go anywhere else. And neither should you. The best ever.

Old neighborhood washateria! Owneris primary operator. Opened 7 days aweek. Hours generally 7a to 10 p!Has an in house wash & fold service by the lb. field for those in a hurry! Very friendly, priced fairly. Steady business situated next to small market that has fast food. It is also next to a local bakery, and has plenty of parking! For those using the facility in the evenings it is well lite and open.

Very nice gentleman. Was able to help me out several times on short notice. Considering I was dropping off close to 180lbs of linen, which is not easy to deal with when your on a time crunch, but he was able to get them back in great time, I am very grateful for this place.

There was a gentlemen working there the night I went and he was very helpful and accommodating. He helped my find the biggest washer right away for my comforter and made the whole experience easy, quick and clean. Is it wrong to say that Michael A Laundry was the best part of our visit to Texas? We chose the wash and fold service, and our clothes that had been caked in Chihuahuan desert dust were returned to us sparkling clean, and the shirts were on hangers that we hadnt supplied. All for a reasonable price with a smile! I may come back to Texas from London every week just to visit this laundry.

Brought my cloths in for laundry service, clothes came back smelling like they had been washed without detergent or fabric softener or anything like that. Had the guy do it again and got them back the same way but very nicely folded. I said I was very disappointed. He have me the twenty back and said he could not work magic. Never again.

Probably the best laundry service in Austin. Same day service even on weekends! I feel comfortable bringing my designer labels here. We will be back!

Close to my house, hours are good and my clothes comes out clean. Usually there is an attendant present and he can resolve any issues. They also provide dropoff laundry service where they do your laundry and you come by to pick it up.

I came with a friend of mine who suggested we go here. It was AMAZING. The wash was only 17 minutes and the dry time was around 30mins... at the other place I go to it takes about 40 minutes to just wash. On top of that, the attendant Adil was an amazing person and extremely helpful for our entire time there from providing quarters to helping me fold my sheets and making the check out nice and easy. If I could give more stars I would!

Weve been here both for full laundry service per pound and for the self-serve washing machines and dryers, and in both cases what makes this the best laundromat Ive been to is the SERVICE.The laundry service per pound service is very reasonable in price and yet its also very quick and great in quality, which in this context to me means not just how clean and dry the clothes end up, but how much work is put into the folding of the smaller items as well.Meanwhile, the self-serve aspect is great as well, since the man whom weve always dealt with when here isnt just there to receive and work on laundry from the per pound laundry service - hes there to help you if youre not super experienced doing laundry, everything from how much to fill the machine to what colors/types of clothing to wash together/apart. One minor thing I really appreciate too is that he makes the process of doing your own laundry here seamless, since he will pay the machines for you and then simply take credit card (which is nice for people like myself who rarely carry cash, much less coins, but always have a credit card).

Large and small efficient washers and dryers the proprietor is extremely helpful. I forgot a blanket in a washer realized when I got home called and he put it in the dryer for me at no cost.

These guys are amazing. Dropped off a 10lb+ bag of laundry at around 3pm for wash and fold before we had to get on a plane to Boston. The estimated time for pick up was 7pm, which was already very reasonable. By 5:30p the guy texted me to tell me it was ready. We went to pick up and there was all our clothes, t-shirts individually hung on hangers, socks and undies neatly folded and all of this was $12. The best cleaners in town. Hands down.

Amazing service and cheaper than other places Ive been going to. After seeing so many positive reviews a friend and I went on Sunday to do our laundry, but we hadnt realized the machines were coin operated. The owner had quarters on hand he let us use and afterwards we were able to pay him with card. The place itself is a regular ol laundromat but the friendliness, affordability, and ease of it all is worth the visit. Ill be back!

Our machine broke during a busy time for us. I brought about 4 weeks of two peoples laundry to Adel at 3:30. It was done at 5:30 because I mentioned I had somewhere to go at 6. Amazing. Adel was kind and helpful; he seems to know everyone who walks in to the building by name. When I came to pick up my clothes, he loaded them into my car. If I didnt have my own machines, Id be here every week. The prices were very reasonable for all services.

This is the friendliest and most helpful laundromat I have ever used. Our condo had water damage and we used every towel and blanket we had to soak up the water. Brought 5 construction garbage bags of wet laundry in and used 5 of their triple-load commercial washers. Abel, the owner, offered to help us load and start the washers. He even moved our loads from the washer to the dryer while we stepped out for lunch (and sorted by fabric type). He went above and beyond to help make a tough situation much less stressful. The equipment all worked flawlessly and we were in and out of there in less than 2 hours. Highly recommended if you live in the area!

Get the lock code to drop your stuff off securely and get a txt when its clean-Delivery: Drop off a big enough order and they will pickup/deliver your order for you for a reasonable price ($5 if in-area)-NHood: I love this neighborhood so enjoy cruising up to pick up and drop off my laundry

The washers were too small to fit my comforter and sheets into one load. If youre looking for something larger, keep looking.
