We hired the electrician at Holden Electrical Contracting for the second time since we bought our home. The first time was to do major rewiring work inside our home, grounding our garage, adding and moving outlets. This time we hired him to come back and work on exterior lighting; installing motion sensor lights, landscape lighting, path lights, and also to add some permanent string lights. They are the most polite and very knowledgeable technicians I have ever met. They fixed a problem I had for two weeks leaving me without hot water within the hour they were here. There have been times when we have called him, left a message about the repair needed, and the repair has been completed before we were able to call him back! Great experience with the electrician of Holden Electrical Contracting after having a poor experience with another company that spent more time eyeing other aspects of our home to suggest upgrades, rather than what our problem was. Turns out our slide in range caused our electric problems but it wasn’t evident to us at first. The tech helped us figure it out. His service charge was half that of the other company and he was courteous, professional and honest—something that is hard to find in many home service companies. We will definitely hire them for any future electric jobs we may have.

Massive job fixing our driveway lights that had two issues, one with a transformer that didnt seem to be working, and also a short in the existing line. They got here on time and not only completed the job but also corrected issues I had from a previous service. I will continue to use this company for all of my electrical needs in the future.

Had an excellent involvement with Holden Electrical Contracting. My power was out after a tree fell on the power line, and damaged part of the structure that secures the line to the house. Herod replaced the weather head and talked to ComED for me to expedite getting the lines reconnected to the poles in the alley. We recently had a problem with our WiFi and found out that it was actually an electrical issue that would need to be resolved. I reached out to Holden Electrical Contracting and was at another job he took the time to listen to the problem. He asked me to take a few pictures of the wires and meter and asked a few follow up questions. He also advised us to turn off our power immediately due to the severity of the situation. He was able to come the same day with a coworker and fixed the wiring. The pricing was fair and the service was friendly, safe, and prompt! We will definitely contact them in the future.
