Not even sure if the recruiter knew my name. Waste of time if you have the talent, consider other options
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I contracted with Apex and a Fortune 50 tech company. That company soon gave me a leadership position, which essentially means more responsibility, but no promotion and no pay raise, but I didn’t mind. I liked the work.I then found out that two of my male coworkers earned more than me. I was more qualified, had a higher level of education, was hired either at the same time or before them, and had more responsibilties. I asked Apex and the tech company to negotiate a pay raise of literally $1 so I could earn the SAME amount as my coworkers. NOT MORE. They refused.I wish I had known my rights better then. As a law student now, I know I would have hit them with a Title VII claim faster than they could blink. Unfortunately the statute of limitations is up so I can do nothing but warn anyone else, especially women, NOT to work with these people.PS: 2 years later, I received another recruitment email from them
My experience has been completely different compared to everybody elses it seems.Luisa, my recruiter and primary point of contact, and Shea are/have been great.Communication with both of them has been honest, transparent, direct and quick. No B.S, no ghosting.
Does not do business in good faith. Cold calls entire staff attempting to reach a manger. Once they do, the caller blatantly lies about working with someone on site, and attempts to worm her way in.
I have had the absolute worst experience with this company.I’d give them 0 stars if Google allowed for that.In less than a month time span I worked with two different recruiters that were terrible with communication and following through.I was supposedly a top choice for two different jobs but never received an email or call from either the recruiter or the companies they were working with for an interview.Every time I called or emailed to follow up they either didn’t answer, did not respond to emails for days on end, or had some sorry excuse to why the job all of a sudden got “closed” after two business days. Although, it took them weeks to respond!Do not use the company at all. They are not accountable for anything and will leave you out to dry and in the struggle. Go to an agency that cares about helping out others and wants to see you succeed.
Not worth getting a contract here tbh. They nitpick to cover themselves and still terminate your contract over Petty things that they never sorted out. The manager at apple at least. Waste of your time tbh. Find a contractor that cares about you. Because this one is not it.
One recruiter really stands out in my experience with Apex. Bryce seems to have a real grasp of what the client and candidates vision of connection entails. Keep up the great work Bryce!
Knowledgeable recruiters who are good at interfacing with clients. Easy to work with also.
Borderline illegal contracting practices.
Too many new faces, no stability or experience in their IT recruiters
Excellent agency with dedicated workers/recruiters.
Apple feeder with no job security and extreme working hour conditions. Beware
Obnoxious
