Extremely honest and fair! I brought in my wifes phone with a cracked screen, but turns out it was just the protective cover that was cracked!They couldve charged me for a new screen and sent me on my way but they did the honest thing and just pointed out that the cracks were just in the screen protector. Peeled off the screen protector and sure enough, screen underneath was perfectly fine! Gave em a bottle of wine and a huge thank you for not costing me money for a replacement screen I didnt need. Ill definitely be back for any phone fixes in the future. Highly recommend!

Had my girlfriend go here to have the screen on her Nexus 6 replaced. The phone was operating fine otherwise. When we got the phone back, the speaker pegs / grille were missing for the top and bottom. Also, the back of the phone was bent and peeling.When asked if they could fix the issue, they refused saying theyre too worried theyll damage the phone further. They didnt offer money back for the damaged or misaligned assembly.I added some pictures for reference - notice the misaligned pegs for the speakers and the bent / peeled back that will come off in a month.Ive already ordered a new back to replace the back that they wont. I wouldnt recommend going here for phone repair at risk other parts of the phone will be damaged by the time you get it back.

Very nice guy, super eager to help and went above and beyond my expectations!! Absolutely recommend! I had a problem with the replacement screen he installed, I think it was just a manufacture defect but he was more then willing to replace it, free of charge. He even threw in a screen protector! If you’re screen is cracked don’t hesitate to let him fix your phone!

It was 4:05pm on Saturday and it said online that the place closed at 4:00. I called the number hoping to hear a recording of their hours but got way more than that. The owner answered his cell and offered to drive back to fix my sons phone. He met us 5 minutes later and quickly replaced the screen. While we waited, 4 other customers came in and he helped every person there with a smile. Great customer service and the phone repair looks good.

I got a kit to fix my own phone and I ran into stripped screws. I called and asked if they could finish the job for me. They fixed my phone under 15 minutes and put on a glass screen protector for me . He made it a great experience! Would 10/10 recommend coming here.

Been here twice, most recently today. First time was to have a battery replaced in an iPhone. Today was to replace a screen on an iPhone. The owner is very friendly and fast. He quoted me a price and estimated the time to repair over the phone and when I came in the price was the same as his quote and he completed the job in the time frame he quoted.I will continue to use Phone Doctor of Austin! I love it when a neighborhood store has such friendly service.

This place has really great service! I took my iPhone 7 in and it was in really bad condition. It only took about 20 minutes to repair and had a fair price. Shattered iPad screen fixed in less than 24 hours (parts had to be acquired) for $100 cheaper than Apple (who said it would take a week). Super friendly, willing to work with me, and best price of every shop in the area. Ill definitely return here if I need another phone or tablet repair.

So I like to review business good or bad because as a consumer this is the only tool we have to help choose which business to use.So I went to the My IPhone Dr. to have them explain why the newly replaced screen on my daughter’s iPhone will not work correctly with a tempered glass screen protector purchased at the same store. “Alex” the manager of the store explained to me that the screen they use are not from Apple “obviously”, I was not expecting that, therefore the phone will not operate the same as new. I specifically wanted a screen protector because it has saved my phone and my daughters phone numeral times. In fact the reason my daughter’s screen cracked was when she did not have the screen protector. The funny thing is that my oldest daughter had the same issue happened to her and brought it back and the gentleman working than “Not Alex” replaced the screen with a different one and it fixed the problem. I wanted “Alex to try the same to see if I could actually use the screen protector we purchased. Alex respond was “I don’t have the time or the means to do that”. Instead he offered me to a new case. I already bought a case. I just wanted to use the screen protector. So my advice to the owner of the business put a warning sign that says. “If you are getting your screen replaced don’t’ expect it to work correctly with a screen protector. Problem solved, that way you don’t waste peoples time and money!

My Galaxy S8 had damage to the front and rear glass. It was repaired at a fair price, within the time stated and was perfect. Highly recommend this business to anyone.

MiPhone Doctor experience was awesome! I did not have an appointment and came in later in the evening on a Saturday and they were able to get me in and out really quick. They had great deal on cell phone cases and offered screen protection free with review. I would recommend coming here to repair cracked screen.

I would give them ZERO stars if possible....I took my iPhone 7 in to have a cracked screen replaced. My phone worked perfect. After a couple of days the screen stopped recognizing my touch. They said that sometimes happens and they put another screen on. This one was what he called a ghost screen. It just typed whatever it wanted. The third screen locked my phone and it would not work. He kept my phone over the weekend and ordered a part to try to fix it. It never worked and the phone was totally broken. He told me he was going to refund me. When I went to pick it up, I told him I had insurance thank goodness! He said he would only refund me partially since I had insurance and they wouldnt take it anyway with a broken screen. I told him I wouldnt need to take it in and use my insurance (which isnt free) to have it replaced with a refurbished phone if he hadnt broken it. He then said he would just put the broken screen back on and refund me. I told him to just give me my phone and left. The original screen was replaced about 2 weeks prior and I am guessing he didnt have it anymore and he was just going to break the screen that was on the phone. I was always nice and understanding until he got greedy. Im almost glad he got greedy so I could warn people about this place. It is worth the $120 to me.....go to a certified apple repair shop if you can...or better yet...get insurance on your phone and use the insurance to repair the screen.

Ive been to my fair share of repair stores, but this is hands down the best repair store in Austin. Fixed the screen on my iPhone in less than 20 minutes and it works just as good as it did before the repair. They also did excellent work on my wifes Android screen. Great service, great experience, great pricing!

I shattered my screen and the next day took my my iPhone 6+ to MiPhone Doctor of Austin. I got in there and got my phone completely repaired really fast! The customer service was top notch and I will definitely be a returning customer in the future should anything else happen to my phone or my families phones! We had a water submergion accident with our iPhone 6s. Late Saturday, the store stayed open late for us to bring the phone so it could dry out completely. The phone was fixed within one business day after it dried out. We also got a phone call letting us know it was ready. We had to have the screen and battery replaced but much cheaper than a new phone. Great customer service! Reasonably priced repairs!

Prices are good, warranty not so much. also, they will use your phone for parts after 30 days of leaving there with no attempt to call you besides the initial call to pick up.*owners response is filled with lies. be careful with the business, they will charge you for one thing, then charge you again when the issue is not fixed, blaming another issue like a sketchy mechanic.

Very fast, friendly and professional service. Easy to make appointments online or drop in. My wife cracked her screen and they replaced it. The new screen didnt function properly and I brought it in a few times for adjustments. It was cracked and they replaced it again.

I originally posted a great review for this company, stating they did an awesome job at replacing my cracked screen.About a week ago I noticed the new replaced screen started detaching and lifting off of the frame. I called them twice and even left voicemails, no return calls. When I finally got a hold of them they told me if I had to bring in my copy of the receipt and they would decide if they could fix it. The front desk girl is very unprofessional.

Ben was so helpful! I only had 30 minutes for lunch during my work day, today, and he assured he would have me out of there in time. Sure enough, less than 10 minutes later, my phone was fixed and I was out the door and back to the office. He provided me quality and efficient work at a FANTASTIC price point. This is the 3rd screen of mine he has replaced, and I have yet to be disappointed. My only disappointment is how often we need to visit under my broken phones circumstances, (haha) but blame that on my bad luck and clumsiness. My iphones screen was damaged due to a drop. The glass wasnt broken, but the screen was not responsive to touch. I brought it in and no it is working great. It was easy, fast, and affordable...easier than going to the apple store.

I took my iPhone in to get the screen repaired. After I left I realized that the corner of the screen was not set all the way in. I then took it back up there a few days later to show them and was told there was nothing they could do and to just put a case on it. A few days later it fell from a few inches onto a wood floor and cracked in the same corner since the glass wasnt fully secured. I went back up there to see if they would help me out given the circumstances and was offered a repair for $90(the same price I payed a week before). I left and went to another repair service that properly repaired my screen and secured all corners.Also during the repair they tried to tell me my earpiece was broken when they received it. When I disagreed and said it had worked fine they agreed to fix it.

We had to take in my wifes Ipad and it turned out beautiful. great service and did not take long at all.now my wife just dropped her Iphone 5s and looks like we will be going back again. great prices by the way

Several phone calls made to check on status of waterlogged device, none returned. Stopped by twice also, one time a clueless person from a remote office didnt know the status of the device. The other time I showed up at 10am but nobody came to open the store. I waited 10 minutes and then I left. Finally, after going out of town for a week, I called and someone answered who knew the status and said I could pick it up.This isnt a way to run a business.

I was looking for a place to sell some old Android phones so I searched online and found Iphone Doctor of Austin was right down the street. I reviewed their website and saw that they do purchase phones. I went to the store with my box of goodies only to be told we dont buy anything but IPhone 5s and newer phones per the owner! I said, then you should change your website because that is not what it says. That is the reason for my review. Please specify on your site what you are willing to buy and NOT buy. I am not suggesting that other people not come to your store. I read through your reviews and most people have positive things to say. I just want to warn the people who are looking to sell old phones that they should call before driving to the store and make sure that you will actually be interested. rp
