I took my truck into get a detail… dropped it off at 10:30. They told me to come back around 2/3. They have a “full detail package” for $200.I called at 4:00 - they said its ready, so I get an Uber ride over - when I get there it wasn’t close to ready. They told me to come back at 5:00.I do - still not ready - I wait till 5:45 when they tell me it’s finished. Its sub par at best.… for $200 this is not worth it.I’m a monthly member to boot… I figured the lackluster performance on the cheap washes wouldn’t translate.

I’m amazed at how poor of a job they did vacuuming the interior of my wife’s car. More shocking is when I noticed multiple areas they missed and grabbed a vacuum to do it myself the staff just sat and watched… I won’t be back.9/30 Edit for reply: I did not ask for the manager. When the lady who vacuumed the car stands back and watches and the gentleman who checks you in stands back and watches you as well as another staff member outside stands back and watches that says enough to me...Im a fairly passive person. If it takes asking for the manager to get a quality job done then I still consider it a business I dont care to patronize hence the review.

I have to admit, pricing is really nice. However, the way the machine clean the car is using a very heavy curtain thing that swings and hit your car. I saw two large heavy cloth pieces stuck to the gap between the headlight and the hood. I think this probably somewhat damages car a bit more for certain models..

Free car wash broke my rear Wiper. Car wash uses heavy materials that brush over your entire vehicle. If you like your antenna or wipers get car washed elsewhere. The customer assumes the risk and Arbor doesnt care if they break pieces off your car. Do not use car wash. Oil change service is decent.

Just got my car detailed and the interior looks phenomenal but the roof of my car has streaks all over it from the car wash.

Their people do a good job and are friendly The automated wash is reasonably priced and is thorough without being too rough. Go for the subscription and keep your car clean year round. While youre there, you might as well take advantage of some of their other car care services.

We used to go here all time, until recently when we took our car in for the Complete Detailing package ($190) and although the interior detailing was great, the job done on the exterior was abysmal. Effectively ran through the sprayer and toweled off and was left streaky and spotty. When I brought it back to show management, I got a story about needing to pay extra for a clay bar treatment, which isnt listed anywhere on the packages. My suggestion would be perhaps to adjust the specifics about what complete actually means.

Clarence, at the Jollyville location, always does a great job communicating professionally and respectfully with me about whats needed. This is my place to go for maintenance needs and maybe a car wash whole Im there. (And theres a massage chair located in the lobby for your use while you wait)!

This service, while not cheap, is worth every dollar. The hand detailing is great. The service staff is friendly, the quality is above what most provide.Be prepared for a wait when busy. You can drop your keys off, and not worry about a thing. Everything is full service.

This is a review of their detailing services, I have not used them for a normal car wash.I drive a truck and the detail job was $109 +/-. It took about 45 min, which was what I expected. They assured me everything would be cleaned inside and out, with special emphasis on the two areas I selected; shampoo of seats and a hand wax job.I was appalled by the results. There was still mud and dirt in the bed of the truck, there was still drops from a spilled coke on the center console (I wiped it off easily with a wet rag), there were still fingerprints on the touchscreen (clearly hadn’t been cleaned), and there was dirt down by the feet wells. The only thing done well was the wax job, and it didn’t look like they did the center of the truck hood because there was still evidence of bird feces on it.I’ve posted some pics as well. No, those aren’t before pics. Although there wouldn’t be much difference. Suffice it to say I will never use them again, and will recommend people go elsewhere if they value a job well done.

You cannot get a better deal for the money. They pay like $60 a month and I get my car washed and vacuumed every day if I want! They have three locations to service you and they do a very good job!

Love this place. Everyone is always friendly and polite. They give you good honest information on the parts and oil types. Oil change and car wash is such a great deal.

Glad I went the extra distance to have Arbor detail my car. Haven’t been in a long while and they didn’t disappoint. They have an elaborate assembly line method and I feel my little Rogue given just as much attention as the high end cars that roll through there. Hard working staff with attention to detail. I’ll be back!

I took my car here yesterday to get a full detail because I am trading it in this weekend, and wanted it to look its best. I paid $200 for the detail. When we picked my car up, my window tint was ruined. The back window was completely bubbled up and peeling. To the point that now impedes my vision from the back. Both side windows on the drivers side have a huge line all the way through them. So, of course we were livid and demanding they pay to fix the tint. We were basically told to F off. They took ZERO responsibility even though it was clearly not in that condition upon arrival. They sent me to a tint shop ( who they do business with), and said if they can prove it, well pay. How the hell can someone who did not see my car before hand have any legitimate input??? Of course the tint guy said the tint must have been failing to begin with, BUT, that they must have steamed the seats, and then left the windows rolled up, causing the curling and bubbling. Even after relaying that back to Arbor Car Wash, they said not their problem. They then said its your fault, you requested the steam clean. We asked to see camera footage, of course it was angled just so that the side windows were out of view, they were supposed to walk the vehicle with us when it was dropped off, and conveniently did not. Even after crying my eyes out and explaining I am trading the car in, and it is now worth LESS than when I brought it there, still they refused to help. His solution was to give me a gift card to bring my new car back there.. SERIOUSLY??? Why in Gods name would I bring my new car there after you damaged this one? I am just sick about this, as now I will lose trade in value. Save your money. Go anywhere else in the world. These people are dirty, dirty. Oh, and even after $200 I had to come home and clean the areas they missed inside myself. Such a horrible experience. Here are pictures of the damage.

Very disappointing experience. First time at this Car Wash. They did a horrible job inside the car. Nothing was vacuumed. It only took them 1min to vacuum the front and back seats(they didnt vacuum the trunk). Afterwards, they are supposed to dust the car and you can tell nothing was dusted.For $30 you are basically only paying for getting your car through the automatic car wash, which you can do yourself for alot cheaper.As you can see from the photos, food hair, and dirt are still in the car after the wash.

I regularly go to Arbor for basic car wash, which is fine - but i am NOT HAPPY with my experience with car wax / detailing for my new Mazda. Biggest complaint: they CHIPPED the paint on driver front fender, small but highly visible every time i get in car! I told the technician, got a shrug. Very annoyed - I’ll purchase touch-up pen to fix on my own, but will NOT go back there for detailing. (also spotty attention to interior detailing)

They did a great job with my car, unfortunately they took an hour and a half longer to finish the car.

Ive been going to these folks since 2015. They are consistent in their good work. I moved to Portland for a few years, came back, and the quality has done nothing but improve. Such a solid feeling to know there are mechanics out there you can count on.I took my car to Break Check (while out of town), they told me I needed new rotors and break pads. The crew at Arbor gave me the full scoop, showing me what new break pads look like versus old one- and told me I did not need them. Theyre never trying to make a quick buck, just being honest people.10/10

Tl;dr version: Friendly employees; you will receive an okay wash on the outside, and an okay cleaning on the inside, but only in certain areas. You may as well do it yourself since youll be redoing their work anyway.I went back here because it was the easiest and closest, and I thought Id give them another try. My opinion stays the same.I wanted certain parts of my car cleaned, so they recommended a particular wash to get the console and dash really well. It was quite expensive at $65, but seems to be in line with other car washes. I thought it seemed odd that my car had already gone through the wash in the time it took me to pay, which makes sense now. They did a good job at the console and dash, but it wasnt until I was further down the road that I noticed the smudgy stuff on the door, which wiped off. Then I noticed the streak on the windshield that I came in with, and which wiped off pretty easily at home (so why wasnt it cleaned there?). The biggest issue was the back windshield, which was significantly worse than when I came in, cloudy and difficult to see through when the sun hits. When I got home I went over things and found several dings and scratches, which I cant say for sure werent there before, but I watch my car pretty closely. I wiped down the windshield where there was still dirt (in places where a gas station squeegee would have cleaned it up) and the wiper blades, which were filthy. I then noticed a rather large (8 inches wide) oily dirt stain on my back seat (where one would rest their leg while cleaning). I know absolutely for certain that it was not there previously, as I had looked over all my seats the day before when deciding how much cleaning my car needed, and my backseat has literally never been used. This stain doesnt wipe off.I know from previous responses that the owner will transfer responsibility by asking if the customer spoke to the manager while they were there, so I will say first, I didnt see these things until I was on my way home, and second, everyone who comes shouldnt have to talk to a manager to get what they paid for. When I pay over $60 for a car wash, I shouldnt leave with my car dirty and stained. That is a lot of money, and my car is a bug investment, so its very frustrating.Previous review Aug 2018:The staff was friendly and it seemed well priced compared to other places, so I got the top wash. I was so impressed with the wash until I got in and realized that while they did a great job on the outside, the inside was a joke. The mats had been vacuumed and the windshield wiped down, but everything else was covered in dust still and hadnt been touched at all. They asked if I wanted the trunk vacuumed but didnt vacuum it. They asked what scent I wanted for the car, but didnt scent it. Im not asking for a super detailed wash, but I should receive what I am paying for. If you want just the outside really clean and shiny, this is the place to go. Otherwise dont bother.

This place is so bad lmao. I paid $60 for something I could have done in half of the time. They said the vacuumed they said they wiped the dash none of that was true. Complete rip off.

Express wash was alright for the price. Sadly, the employee I dealt with was untrustworthy. Came in with some stubborn calcium stains on my car and asked him if he could remove them. He tried convincing me that I needed a $150 clay bar treatment. Ended up taking my car to a self-service wash down the road and easily cleaning it off myself. Watch out for the employees trying to scam you!

This is by far the worst car wash/customer services experience I have ever had. I do not write reviews but my experience was so bad that I want to warn others. I went to this place on my lunch break thinking it will be a quick in and out process (my car had fresh bird poop on the hood). I chose the basic express wash because it was fresh (bird poop) and could probably be sprayed off with the water hose. After exiting the wash I noticed there was still a lot of poop left on my car. So I drove around and spoke with the attendant who was very polite. She allowed me to go through one more time and upon exiting the wash for the second time i found that the second run did not remove ANY of the bird poop either. I went inside and spoke with the cashier who told me that she would send a manager out to look at the vehicle. When the manager came over I expressed my concerns about having to go through twice, and that I would like a refund, (seeing as how I paid for a service I did not receive). The manager was extremely rude and told me that not only were they not refunding me but that I owed them for the second wash (MAYBE IF YOUR CAR WASH DID ITS JOB I WOULD NOT HAVE NEEDED A SECOND WASH). Terrible customer service, All he would have had to do was give me back $7 dollars. But now youve lost a customer for life. I hope your business closes so you cant screw anyone else.

Ive been going to arbor for 10 plus years and Ive never been disappointed. Theyre always polite, attentive, and respectful. Last time I went there I did the Complete Interior Detail and it was well worth it. It looks like a brand new car. Its also nice that you can leave the car there and walk to a few local restaurants in the area. Super convenient...

Great car wash! Lovely, hardworking people and my car looks like new.

Good job on the carpet and seats however they used cleaner that was too strong for some of the surfaces and it scraped the paint off. I would have rather they left the little bit of grim there. Plus they dont tell you when your car is done your just supposed to find out cause they apparently dont have the staff to do that according to the receptionist.

$300 was stolen out of the glove compartment in my car from this place and didn’t notice until two weeks later when I went to use it.The only reason I don’t give this place a one star review is because the staff was very helpful in trying to resolve the issue, but their camera footage only goes back 1.5 weeks, so there’s nothing they could do, which means I basically paid $430 for a car wash instead of $130.Never going back to this location again because I can’t trust their cleaning staff to be honest and keep their hands off other people’s hard-earned money.

I came here to get my car detailed and was very disappointed with the quality of service. I only wanted the interior done and they charged me for the exterior as well (I didn’t notice this until later). When I got my car back they missed the main reason I went in there. I told them about it and the door areas they did a very poor job on and missed and they quickly fixed it. But again, they missed so much. As I left and started driving I noticed streak marks all over my windshield and windows, leather seats drenched in oil and not wiped well and they completely missed my dashboard. My floor mats were returned soaking wet and dripping in a bag. Which maybe it’s was because they were closing that everything was rushed and not done well (I brought it in 2 hours before closing). But if I’m paying almost $200 for detailing I expected a much better job to be done. I may return for a quick wash but definitely not for detailing. Sadly a waste of money and not happy with the results. Very friendly staff though.

Sorry wash for top grade wash. Charged for interior cleaning ... refunded as I wasn’t pointed to that service. Bird c..p and hood dirt still there. Leaves in windshield wiper well.Arbor on Guadalupe does a hand finished wash, interior vacuum and clean. I will save $2 and go there for real service.

Im in love with this place. The staff is super friendly for one thing. They also do a great job - inside of 40 minutes, my oil was changed, my car was washed, my gas tank was topped off and the chip in my windshield was fixed. Super affordable. The free car wash that comes with the oil change is not the best car wash and I didnt expect it to be, but I got what I wanted - my car is road trip ready. Ill be back!

Nice people, good job. A little expensive and they go out of their way to up sale. Theres a top box instead of individual thing but it makes it easy for clientele to sneak out without tipping which makes it tough on the hard working employees.

Had my car oil change. And washed vacuum all fluids checked and tire pressure check as well .took about 30-45 minutes. They guys their working were friendly.

Im not surprised this has such low stars. Ive been here randomly over the last decade with a few of my vehicles. I usually use the wash but occasionally get it detailed at this location. Kevin is the general manager and even after taking pics of my car not being fully cleaned and not receiving the tire shine he refused to give me a refund. He said I had to come back and he would shine the tires. It is not convenient to me so this was a waste of time. Skip this location and go somewhere that actually cares about attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Your vehicle is an asset and this place doesnt care about that.

I dropped off my two year old Honda and they gave it back to me with paint chipped off the door (it looks very much like someone opened a door into my car). The manager Kevin looked at the videos of my car to see if they had done it or not and he could not see anything on the tapes, but he did offer to have one of their employees fix the damage for me. I’m still a bit unhappy about the chipped paint but there’s no proof that they did it and Kevin went out of his way to fix the issue. He also checked all of my tires and filled them up because my low tire pressure light was on when I picked up the car. Thanks Kevin - you made me feel much better about the whole situation.

Save your money and get a better wash/detail somewhere else. This place is way overpriced for the results. They waxed over a still dirty car. The only good thing I can say is that they were accurate on their time estimate for completion. But to be honest I’d rather wait to have a job done right. Seriously, way overpriced.

Efficient. In and out in 10 minutes. With a clean car. Even better was using a coupon I got in the mail. There were plenty of people working to dry off the cars. Since they were able to process lots of cars, the waiting room wasnt very busy. All have in all - highly recommend.

They always do a great job cleaning my car. It’s less expensive than other detail places but same quality. My only complaint is how pushy the guys can be that are asking what services you need. They ask half a dozen times or more for you to add a service or upgrade, and it’s too much. Other than that—highly recommend.

Most of my life I was someone who would just wash my own vehicles, but with bigger vehicles and a busier work schedule its just easier to have someone else do it. My girlfriend recommended this place to me since she had been using them for a while. I find it very convenient to just take my truck here and have it cleaned up nice for about $15., which includes a wash, vacuum, windows cleans and hand dried. They seem to always do a good job and keep cars moving there. I even recently opted for the hand waxing ($55 for a truck) which turned out really nice and included a wash, interior cleaning and tire shire. The employees there are always helpful, they were even able to repair a chip in my windshield and hand all the insurance for me. Good people here, be sure to print out the coupons from their website to save a few bucks.

This place appears to specialize in the bait and switch. You go in for an oil change, they tell you one price, then checkout time comes and it is another. And this was not accident on the fine print. I specifically asked what will this vehicle be, including and add ons or extra charges. I was assured a price of X, and it came back 20% higher. Also the wash is terrible but that is kinda expected at these quickie places. Avoid this place!

This car wash is an excellent deal—great value for the detail and care put into every wash. Our car had a little funky smell after we moved and the folks over at Arbor managed to get rid of it where two other car washes had failed. We’re return customers now.

I did the express $7 basic. It didnt do a bad job... not good either. Just blah... I will say it was quite confusing getting in and knowing where to go. Even after being directed by the employee in the parking lot, I paid and still didnt know where to go. Im used to Palms on the south side of Austin. No comparison

I went to Arbor Car Wash to get a wash on my sports car that is vinyl wrapped. When I got to the car wash I was not greeted in a positive manner. I was greeted with a “What do you want?” No etiquette at all. Then when I asked if the car wash is safe for a vinyl wrapped car the attendant said “How would I know? I didn’t install the wrap on the car?” Then he offered a hand wash for $60, keep in mind that the best of car washes in Austin charge between 20-30 dollars for a hand wash. I definitely know to never go to Arbor Car Wash again and I’ll make sure none of my friends in my circle of influence ever go there. I will post about this experience on Facebook, Twitter, and in the automotive forums.

Speed is good, but not when it comes to detail. They did an ok job I guess.

Reasonable prices. I got my Ford Focus engine oil get changed here with 41$ inclusive of all taxes with one complimentary wash. At jiffy lube or Volvoline charge you 45$ for same service. People are friendly and help to customers. Prompt service. If you know how to change oil for your car then that will be great for you in saving lot of $$ since synthetic oil Change by any company charge you min 80$ which is guaranteed for 6000 miles. At COSTCO you can get synthetic oil for 35-40$ which saves you tens of dollars if you know how to change oil yourself

I have no idea why these guys dont have a much higher rating. I got the Waterworks wash for half price with a Groupon and my Mustang is sparkling inside and out! They did way more than whats included in the description of the service. My rims were pretty much detailed and they cleaned a bunch of details on the inside. This is why I keep coming back! 5 stars and thumbs up for these guys!

Got a high mileage oil change here. Was heading to a large chain location, but decided to stop at a local business instead. I skipped the car wash because I have an old car AND it was raining, but good to know it is there. My transmission fluid was showing some deterioration, so they changed that, knocked off a few bucks. Convenient location, friendly staff.

They just put a huge scratch on the back of my trunk and didn’t tell me. Don’t appreciate that. Their work is usually fantastic

They definitely overcharged for labour. 90$ for a synthetic oil change when the average is around 65$ is too much. Yeah you get a free car wash, but its not worth it. No matter what they overcharge 10-20$. Would not go again.

I got my car there and they did a great job. Found some tiny stain and issues after cleaning but they took care of that immediately. Very professional people and friendly staff.

I payed $59 and had 3 guys working no stop cleaning my car for more than a hour! Great job my car looks great. This is the second time I use this car wash ladt time they also did a great job. I used lots of different car washes this best take really good care of the cars

Love this place! My only complaints are: 1. The quality of the wash is hit or miss.. Just depends on who gets your car, and what time of day you arrive. 2. I really wish they would announce your car being completed from the inside waiting area. I waited an ungodly amount of time, just to find out you have to be outside to hear them when your car is finished. Oh, and 3. The second vending machine really needs a card reader so I dont have to use the tip money to get a drink! Other than that, all is good. Lady at the counter is friendly most of the time, and the dog is a super happy touch!

Super ghetto location and doesnt look legit. BUT the service is great! The workers are super nice and try to be thorough as possible. Paid $11 for a car wash. They finished in less than an hour. Saw some dirty spots so told them they missed a spot and were kind enough to clean it and double check other spots. Gave the dude $5 for tip and he came back to wipe a little more.

Horrible service. Went in for an oil change and a car wash while we were waiting for the car to get ready, I told my daughter to pick A car smell Then the lady behind the counter told my daughter do not touch that and do not open it. I simply said dont worry maam if she opens it I will pay for it . Then she gave me a horrible attitude and went and called the manager. I explained to the manager exactly what happened And that he could go and watch on cameras to see how she talked to us. instead of apologizing, or do something about it he kicked my daughter and I out, And when I told him I will be given him a review he said go ahead and if you do next time you will come here you will be arrested for trespassing. Even the guy that took my car in came and apologized and said sorry and that this is not the first she does that... my issue is with the untrained manager also. If uper management see this. I Hope you go and watch the videos and do a better job training ur guys.

I did a single service detail. They did an awesome job cleaning the seats of my car. I was incredibly happy with them!

This is a great place to get a quick car clean up. Its not being hand washed so there maybe something that will need a little extra attention after, but its not a bad option if youre in rush or simply dont want to do it yourself. Lube shop guys are great too. If you dont want extras just make that clear when you pull in. They are of course going to ask you to upgrade or add extras. Its a business.

I got my car washed, detailed, oil change + inspection. They did comp me the oil change, so it ended up being the same price as the full service package (about $200.) Took about 2.5 hours. They did a fair job. Staff was not friendly (not rude.) There was some sort of residue left on my car that looks like dried wax - was not there when I arrived - I managed to scrape it off. Might have been dried wax (?) still not sure what it was. Appreciated that I could get all four things done at once. Glad it is located near other stores within walking distance while the car was being worked on.

The best word to describe this place is inconsistent. They have a lot of employees -- some are diligent and hard-working, and some are... not. And this shows up in the uneven quality of the work done.So why did I give them four stars? Because Ive been coming here for many years (since the days when Ben was asleep under the counter) and my expectations maybe arent as high as those of a customer who might be new to the shop. I expect a quick vacuuming job with a more powerful vacuum than what I have at home, but I dont expect a spotless interior. They wipe down the dash and console, but theyre cleaning, not detailing. There will still be dirt in the seams and corners. I dont expect my cars interior to look showroom clean, and it never does, but most of the time the job is good enough. When its not Ill finish the job myself with a wet washcloth when I get home if I think it really needs it.But since my expectations are lower, I never pay full price. My wife and I are registered with Arbor Car Wash, and we each get two coupons on our birthday. One coupon is good for a free car wash and one is worth $15 off additional work such as a hand wax. When youre getting a nice discount its easier to accept a mediocre job. And when Im getting a free car wash its easier to leave a decent tip even though I know Im probably getting a mediocre job. Im happy to throw them a few extra bucks for cleaning my car in 100 degree heat so I dont have to. Arbor Car Wash used to have a nice Groupon deal that was much better than the anemic coupons on their web page. Id be in more often if they started that again.Other positives I can mention: the air-conditioned waiting room, watching through the windows as your car goes through the car wash (fun for kids), and free popcorn. The rocking chairs on the patio are nice when the weather is agreeable, and the store has an interesting variety of keychains, automotive air fresheners, greeting cards, and socks. Yes, socks. Check them out.

Got to the place about 2:30 yesterday Thursday Jan 4, 2019 and pulled into the inspection lane and stopped at the cone. Looking for the person doing the inspection and not knowing where to go.One employee (shorter, older, bearded guy in the fillup/cleanup lanes) started yelling at me and pointing and waving in my vehicle. My first impression who is this? and why is he yelling? He had the car wash uniform shirt.I found out he doesnt work the inspection lane but just decided to come over and harass me. (0 to negative stars)I have had the rest of the day and overnight to think about this and it was and is bad. Whatever his name is. He shouldnt work there if personal skills even for a situation are less than mature or customer oriented.I will not be returning again!The inspection guy was nice and thorough got the job done and smiled as he gave me the inspection report. (5stars)

Supposedly hand dry. Water all over truck when finished. Had or redey myself. Also, supposed to pre scrub at beginning of wash, the only thing the brush touched was my tailgate. Just not a good wash at all. Too many people working here for this kind of result.

This car wash does a great job. I always do the basic and it feels like a much nicer car wash than other places. Appreciate these guys and their hard work.

I came in on an very busy Saturday afternoon. While I was checking out I made a request to the cashier to do write out a quote for another wash and the details of the wash they gave my car, which is a really unusual request. I was so surprised when they took the time to help me despite the craziness at that time. They did even more than I expected. Shout out to the young lady behind the front desk doing an amazing job. Ill be back!

Not the cheapest but they do a good job. always inspect for water drops before you leave and have them wiped down. also, the lube service is good but they dont offer basic services like tire rotation

I went in today super frustrated. I am leaving thw area, needed a wash and vacuum before I packed for my minimum 10 hr ride home. My AC went out today. When i went in to this car wash, I wasnt expecting much. The lady looked in my van and said we will do what we can. I requested the $29.00 pkg. I normally do my own vacuuming and washing (I have kids that i already told would be doing it when I get home). I did not expect such a good job to be done. THANK YOU for a job well done. And thank you for the AC I sat in while the task was completed. Kudos.
