My first car wash in Texas and I can already tell you I’m never going anywhere else. It’s a little pricey but they hand wash it. We spoke with Javier, he was a blast. All in all the experience was amazing and they made my baby shine!

I took my 2013 Tacoma there today - 9/28/21 - paid for the Express Detail which was $100 (tipped $20) and I could have got the same quality on a basic wash. So many parts of my truck are still dirty like my wheels, rails, and truck bed. Shouldnt that be attended to in an Express Detail package? It also looks like something greasy was rubbed all over my driver seat and something white was sprayed all over the driver side of the vehicle. Im so bummed. I never write reviews but it was a big deal to me. $100 is a ton of money to me. I feel like my seat is permanently ruined and Ive been trying the white specks off but cant.

Wonderful job. I recommend this car wash if youre looking for a decent one in Austin!! I got the interior package (which is 1 step before deluxe) and they quoted $120. It was $10 more for pet hair but I didnt mind, my pup had the back seat and trunk covered in black hair. I was very satisfied with the service and happy with how it came out. Beautiful shine and thorough clean and detailing. The service was very pleasant and kind. I will definitely come back. Very happy with the job, tipped $30. The payment asks for the tip up front, but just ask them to wait to see your car and theyll let you tip after the job. Fantastic job on a 2005 Toyota Sienna my dad gave me after using it solely for his donut shop in Dallas--it was BAD 😳 They did a fantastic job going at it twice bc Javier wasnt gonna have it any less! Old school Austinite biz that we want to stay around so support yall. Theyre worth it ✌😏

I have brought my car here for detailing for quite some time, but a recent experience made me want to write this! I brought my car in for an interior detail. They made my car look spotless inside and out, even though I rushed them at the end because I thought it would be faster than I thought It was.Because I rushed them and I left so fast, they weren’t able to tell me to lay my mats out to dry when I got home! This caused a moldy odor to sink into my car, BUT….The second I called about this, they IMMEDIATELY told me to bring it in so they could redo the whole thing. They more than rectified the situation - not only did they IMMEDIATELY fix the mistake (moldy smell), but they also gave me another FULL detail to say sorry!!! THIS is the type of character that makes a business great - always placing customer satisfaction above all else. I now have confidence that no matter what happens, this business will do what it takes to rectify the situation and provide an amazing customer experience!

Took my car in with sap all over it, Which I knew would eventually ruin my paint. They were careful to try a section with the Clay bar treatment it was very labor-intensive and took a lot of work. But they eventually got my car entirely free of all the sticky sap and spotlessly cleaned the interior… it looks like a brand new car again! I have used this car wash several times over the years but I’ve only gotten the regular car wash treatment which is also exceptional but they went above and beyond and for that I am very grateful . It would’ve cost me a fortune if I let this go and not gotten professionals to take care of it ASAP. I would recommend them to anyone. It’s all done by hand none of this is mechanical. Best car wash in Texas.

Great service from the start, the friendly manager met me in line, asked what I wanted to have done, gave me a quote, wrote it up and told me the time it would take. They called me when finished and the car is spectacular. I highly recommend this business when you want your car cleaned to perfection.

Not too sure what was so deluxe about the cleaning I got. I ended up paying $160 in total with a tip since I wasn’t able to see my car prior. Very disappointed with the cleaning I received and would appreciate being either compensated for the cleaning I received or a new clean. I took photos as soon as I got home from picking up my car, I could’ve cleaned it myself and it would’ve looked better than how I got my car back.

Was a little disappointed that my mobile charger and console change were missing after my $250 car wash/detail. Management took care of it after I mentioned it. I was very satisfied with the wash/detail.

This place is by far the best car wash in town. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They do a wonderful job in a timely manner. It always feels like a personal experience at Barton Springs car wash. We don’t go anywhere else!

I never treat myself to a car wash but treated myself recently. I paid close to $50. When I realized they had missed some stuff I went 3 days later and theyReDid my entire car.They were so nice and took such great steps to make sure I was satisfied. Nothing wrong with making a mistake if you make the best effort to correct it with such professionalism.They get a 10 star review from me.

I paid 40 so they would clean my Matt’s. It took 45 min my Matt’s still dirty and the back i don’t think they even touched. Probable the worst wash i have had in awhile. 2 wks prior i went to Westlake care wash and spent 85 amazing job the car looked like new so these people didn’t have a lot to do. Bummer!!!

Wow! I haven’t seen my car this clean maybe ever lol. I took it in on a rainy day for an interior detail and they were a bit short staffed so it took a long time, and I was a bit surprised by the price, but both were totally worth it. A friend threw up in my car so they added an additional fee, but were also willing to take some off since I didn’t need my trunk done. The leather, dash, and steering wheel look so clean, shiny, and conditioned. Plus they washed the exterior. I definitely recommend this car wash.

I came for an express detailing and pointed out that it was specifically for the sand in the interior (not a ton of sand, but some sand on the seats, console and floor mats) and bugs on the front of my car. When my car was ready after an hour and they flagged me over - there was still sand in the cup holders and bugs all over the front of my car - post wax. I had to stand there and keep pointing out the bug splots to the poor final guy with a spray bottle and a rag. And at the end, I could still kind of see the bugs but after repeatedly pointing them out I felt bad and just said okay and left. I would expect this from a bad $20 car wash but not a $110 car wash.

Was quoted $45 for washing under truck and cleaning out inside. Tipped $10 the first time it went through. Underside was not touched so they put it through again. Bed was not cleaned and there was still a lot of sand inside after an hour and 45 mins. Pics are from after I got home.

Don’t come here if you want a thorough clean. Paid $55 for exterior and interior clean. Looks like the guys just hosed and wiped my car down. On the interiors they sprayed the seats with leather shine but didn’t bother to clean them before. They also didn’t wipe the shine down and left spots on the seats and on the dashboard. Oh and almost forgot the glob of shine they left in my cupholder (for later) along with someone else’s belongings. Maybe you think I’m picky but I did pay a good amount of money and just expect better.

A great, convenient place to get a car wash around the more central, downtown part of Austin. Easy to find while on S Lamar and often not that long of a wait. I have a soft top Jeep Wrangler and can’t use automated ones. They always do a good job in cleaning my Jeep!

Been going here for a few years, mostly out of convenience. Some times they’re great, other times not so good. They are very inconsistent with pricing and their quality of service. I’m going to find a new place.

$30 is pretty expensive for inside and outside cleaning. Wouldn’t be disappointed if they did a great job but I’d give it a “C”. I had to point out many areas that weren’t clean as I went to get the car and they cleaned those up but later discovered other areas that were dirty, inside the car. If you do go, carefully inspect before you leave.

Most amazing wash and deep clean I have ever had on my WRX!!! I had husky german Shepherd hair embedded into the carpet along with tons of sand from camping in Key West and when I got it back...it was all gone!!! I am sooooo thankful for their amazing service :-) THANK YOU AGAIN!

Great people running this place. They are really detail oriented and do a good job. Not the place I’d go if I was in a hurry. But, if you don’t mind chillin at Starbucks for a while as your car gets cleaned, this is the spot. Affordable. Thorough. And if anything isn’t up to snuff they take care of it. Strongly recommend.

Please don’t waste your money here!It’s not worth it! I paid $22 dollar for a basic car washThey didn’t clean anything from the inside of the car they only vacuum, they left all the dirty towels inside my car, you could’ve tell right away they didn’t even bother to clean at least the dashboard or the cup holder. To top it off I told them to please not touch the inside of my trunk, that it was okay for the trunk part to stay the way it is from the inside. When they told me my car is ready I walk over my trunk was open! And nobody was around to even ask for my car keys!

There were dirty spots on the outside of the car and streaks on the glass I had to wipe off with my own microfiber cloth at home.Otherwise its fine, but Im pretty disappointed.

I have a membership and Barton Springs Car Wash is Awesome. I highly recommend the membership its a great value if you wash your car a lot. And bonus the always have chair massages available so you can get a massage while you wait!

$20 for a hand wash and an interior sweep / wipe down is hard to beat. Super friendly service. Allow at least 30 minutes...it just takes time to hand wash and clean a car. Outside and inside seating areas. Comfortable. My car always come out sparkling.

Love these guys. I get the VIP membership every year and come in at least once a week. They always take great care of me and have me in and out super quick. Highly recommended!

GREAT JOB! My car is so clean and it was so fast!

Don’t bring your car here if it is actually dirty. I had some bug guts on the front of my car. Brought it here and when they told it was ready the guy tried to hand me my keys with the bug guts still on the hood. When I pointed them out he tried buff them out with a regular rag. Once that didn’t work (because why would a dry rag work) he told me he couldn’t get them off because they damaged my paint. I knew that was complete bs but I didn’t have the time to argue with him. I took my car to one of those coin washes and got the bug guts off in 5 seconds. The only good thing I have to say is they did a nice job of cleaning my wheels. But by and large this place was a waste of time and money.

Victoria at the front desk was so friendly and knowledgeable. They got my Subaru in immediately and did and extremely thorough cleaning in very good time. Would absolutely recommend this car wash for all your detailing needs.

I had a basic wash which came with an interior cleaning. Even though it was a busy day, they did a great job and it didnt take very long considering the line. My minivan was clean, shiny with all dirt removed. I also took advantage of their chair massage service while I waited - Austins best car wash secret! It is worth the stop just for that! which I guess you can just go for the chair massage & not take your car, if you want, as well.

I brought my car here to get cleaned before a long road trip as the location was super convenient. The staff were very friendly, and it looked like they do a great job on cars as I drive by this place everyday. The outside of the car is a 4 out of 5. The inside is a different matter. Floor mats were soaked and two werent even placed back flat. The seats werent vacuumed which was literally the entire point of bringing the car here. As well, the seat cup tray and other accessory trays - all which are removable - werent even vacuumed. Again, the entire point of bring your car in is to have a clean interior to sit in. Definitely will not come again.

Brought my car here and they “lost” my weathertech floor mat on my driver side. Didn’t notice before I left, so I called and they told me they would “check the security cameras.” After having to call back 3 times they finally told me they didn’t see anyone take a mat out of my car on the camera....They said there is nothing they can do. Even if that was true, that means I just paid $70 + tip for a car wash and they didn’t even take out the floor mat to vacuum...Will obviously never be going back here.

I checked in before five cars for a basic wash. They had all their vehicles ready 20 minutes before my car. They left my wheels dirty. They are also receiving tips at the counter and outside. Bad customer service and bias. My vehicle is not a BMW or mercedes. But my money is green like everybody elses

I had my girlfriends Nissan Versa detailed there.I paid $115 and gave a $20 tip and they didnt even vacuum out the trunk area. Not to mention the back glass didnt look like it had been cleaned and there was dirt in the cup holders and emergency break.You would think for the price youd get better service then this.

I take my car in Saturday by 4pmThey didn’t clean it well they leave some stains on the right side and didn’t clean the dashboard, I always get the executive one is 35 dollars and always leave them a tip of 10 or 15 bucks but this time I try to come back on Monday to show they didn’t clean well my car and the solution of the manager was :If I purchase the basic one he well clean and fix their mistake, that really doesn’t make sense when I’m a good costumer, that manager is just going to make you guys lose more clients and that is sad specially in this season.

I needed a car wash today and this is the closest option so I ignored the 1 star reviews and gave it a try. Turns out that was a mistake...After the wash I came home to wax my car and dried it first using a chamois (pictured below) and was surprised to see how dirty the car still was. I could tell the car had been wet, but it certainly wasn’t cleaned very well. If I wanted my car to be wet I’d go for a drive in the rain instead of paying $20 for someone to do it for me.

Wait can be 15-20 minutes pretty regularly, but they do a great job here and get the interior nicely. The waiting area is spacious and clean, but somewhat boring. Price for a small SUV is $22--Not unreasonable.

This place is horrible to say the least. Makes me realize the importance of a good education and college. I came in initially to have my Mercedes Benz exterior done only. I was told that my inside would be vacuumed also with my purchase regardless. Great, seeing how my focus was purely the exterior. Once my vehicle was returned, my garments from the cleaners were completely tucked under my back passenger seat completely wrinkled! I requested the manager immediately. He approached me and explained that I paid for a basic wash and thats what I received. I was concerned with my garments at this point. He didnt seem concerned about my articles of clothing one bit. Once I looked at my vehicle in front of him, he realized as I did that it appeared that not even a basic wash was completed. He took my vehicle back around and as he approached the other ex cons, he made a comment and they all turned and looked at me as though the situation was funny. This infuriated me. I was more upset because I just wasted my time which is more valuable. After the second wash was completed, I did an inspection. My emblem on my Mercedes Benz was missing the C in 4 MATIC. It now read MATI ! He didnt seem to care one bit. He said hed try to find it. At this point, Im here almost an hour. He explained that he would give me a full refund. Are you serious? I explained that I want my vehicle returned the way it was. He said he would try to find it. The emblem for my vehicle cost after taxes over $100 dollars with tax not included. He said if found they would give me a call. I explained I cant just put that back on and immediately contacted the dealership. I explained that if found and if the dealership couldnt put it back on, I would need to be reimbursed for the cost. He said he didnt know about that and he stated hed already given me a refund. Are you serious? I leave immediately and contact my attorney. Two hours later, I received a call explaining they found my missing C. I returned and picked it up. Im now at the dealership here at the Park Place location in Dallas where I purchased the vehicle. After the unprofessionalism, time wasted, the straight out disrespect, my attorney will be in contact with the establishment. My attorney is EXCELLENT to say the least.

I have never had a more superb experience at a car wash! Unfortunately, the kind of material on my car seats shows EVERYTHING, including water marks. I took my car in after work and everyone was incredibly welcoming. The service was not only fast, but also well done and affordable! They went above and beyond, and took incredible care of my car. I highly recommend this business and will be going here from now on.

My mom took my truck in to get it washed while she was in town (best mom ever, am I right?) and shes not super familiar driving it. When she went to Barton Springs Car Wash, she told me about how the owner, Ken I believe, took great care of her and my truck. Something wasnt cleaned to her satisfaction, and Ken personally took care of it, going above and beyond. From her experience, Ken was the kind of local small business owner that we should all support. Im going to take my business there from now on!

Staff does a great job hand washing your car and the business uses about as much water as self-service.

DO NOT get your car detailed here. They ruined my vehicle. The first time they handed the car back to me, the mats were soaking wet and I spent all night trying to get them to dry, two days later I brought it back and asked for a redo, they handed it back to me soaking wet again and the manager came out to try to do a better job but it still wreaks of mildew, I had to throw out my mats, and Im probably going to have to replace the carpet. Paid $110 and now Im about to have to pay at least $250 in damages to get my car back to normal. Not to mention both times I took my car in I wasted half a day waiting for it.

They do a fine job. If you see something that’s not cleaned to your liking before you leave, tell them and they’ll fix it.

Paid $60 to have my car washed and all 4 of my all weather floor mats were stolen! Was treated poorly by the staff when seeking a resolution -- told 3 different stories by 3 different employees (GM, Assistant GM, Reception) on how to proceed with resolving the issue. The receptionist was rude and hung up on me when I asked to get confirmation in writing before repurchasing my mats for $300 so they could reimburse me.

Ive been coming to Barton Springs Car Wash for years. I have an oversized vehicle and that requires hand washing. I havent found a place better than Barton Springs Car Wash, I live in Lakeway and will drive across town just to get my truck washed by the team. Everyone is always so friendly, they have wifi while I wait, and Im never disappointed. If you are looking for a hand wash facility - this is your place!!

I tried several times to make sure it was not just me but everytime they left the car dirty! I paid a executive cleaning and my wind mirror was still dirty outside! Not even the basic is done well! And I took the car on a Saturday morning as soon as they opened! Not worth it!

Got the mid-range $35 dollar wash and interior. There were streaks all over, both inside and out. Did not even remove all the bird crap. Parts of the interior were missed completely and there were dirty areas that took me 10 seconds with a damp rag to clean myself when I got home. Would expect more attention to detail for that price. Will not be returning.

Brought our new car in and was so scared of them washing it. Be aware they use some old sponges and worn out chamois. I had to stop the guy drying my car since he was wiping a microfiber towel he used to clean the windows. If you go just watch what they are doing your car could end up with a lot of swirls.

On Sunday April 23rd around 10:30 Am I got my car washed (a basic wash). All seemed to go very nicely, until I drove it home and found later on in the day that the sun visor was broken on the drivers side. It would not stay up. it kept flopping down. I called to ask woman at desk what to do and she told me to come by with car and let supervisor, Steve see it on Monday. I work during the hours that the car wash is open, so cannot do that. Could someone help me with this situation. Thank you,

My car was caked in pollen and they brought it back to shiny goodness. Inside AC waiting room and outside picnic tables while you wait. Hand dry to finish up and I was out. Will go back.

This was a very weird experience. When I arrived, I asked for the Executive cleaning (Basic Wash + Mini Detail) and was handed a slip with 40 EXE written on it. I paid the $40 fee for my mid size SUV and waited for about 25 min when I was called over. The outside of the car was spotless, but the inside looked like it hadnt been touched. There were clear dirt marks on my seat from my dog which should have been easily wiped off and dog hair all over the seats and dashboard.I asked the staff to take a look and they stated they thought I had purchased a Basic wash, then let me know that they would correct the mistake. When I got back into my for the second time, the car was slightly cleaner but it was clear that the 2nd round was shoddily completed. Dirt marks remained, center console hadnt been cleaned, and dog hair remained on the dash. I ended up leaving because I was short on time, and realized after I left that all of the quarters (about $3 worth) kept in my side door storage were missing...Will not be coming back here.
