Mitchell was awesome! Had so much fun. Gave us the option to go slow but also picked it up when we asked him to. Also took us to a cliff diving spot that was cool. Highly recommend!!

Rude is a understatement. Mitchell is unreasonable, and should not be in business. the jetskis are unreliable and Mitchell will steal money from your card, do NOT GIVE HIM YOUR CARD NUMBER

I am giving this a five star rating because they made the process super easy, and the owner was extremely nice, as well as communication with him was easy and fast. He always responds to emails the same day, and walks you through what you need and everything like that. I am definitely going to rent from him again, as his prices are on the cheaper end from what I saw but ur not sacrificing quality of service to the price your paying. 100% recommend these guys!

Company used my credit card without authorization. Very shady individuals. Buyer beware. I never hire these people before and when I contacted them to correct the unauthorized charge they were calling me Scott but my name is John and would not cancel the charge. I think he may of been intoxicated.

Mitchell rebuilt the entire top end of my engine (dual sport motorcycle) after it seized. He had the failure diagnosed same day, two days after getting parts he was done. Quality work 100%. when I came to pick up the bike he even helped me install a new break pedal and gave me a whole run down on what he did, very knowledgeable.Communication: No BS, very direct/curt.

We rented a sweet ski boat and two pwcs. We had a blast! The boat was in good shape and had a Bluetooth radio, they had a yeti Ive chest bag for our refreshments.We got to cruise around the lake and go tubing and skiing and Im kneeboarding. The seafood were awesome, and everyone had a blast!The captain was really attentive and very cool. He kept us safe and entertained . He had great knowledge of the lake and showed us awesome places n the lake.We will definitely be coming back, fyi book with them early so you can assure they have an opening for you, you wont regret renting from Epic.

Mitchell (owner) is the nicest dude ever. We got jet skis and they were in great shape and FAST. You might also run into Mitchell’s very cute (and tiny) dog Rocky that he adores. He’s been doing this for a while so he really knows his stuff about his gear and machines, and is very familiar with Lake Travis as well. 10/10 would recommend and plan on going back.

The jet skis were in perfect working condition and super fun to use. Mitchell gave updates and met me on the lake with the jet skis. My friends and I had a blast on them.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a loyal repair man. Mitchell was very knowledgeable of motorcycles and knew what exactly needed to be done to my bike. He took the time clean out my tank instead of me buying a brand new tank. If he can salvage it he will and go the extra mile to save you money.

I recently found my motorcycle had a rear flat tire . Except having it towed to a shop I looked for a mobile mechanic that could save the tow charge. I found Mitchells service and we scheduled for the following morning. Mitchel not only was able to patch my.tire, saving me the cost of a new one. He adjusted my chain which had a noticeable skip in first gear. My bike had just had a chain adjustment and oil change a few days earlier. Mitchell fixed the chain and now first gear is smooth. The front tire was low and he inflated it to proper psi. The shop I had taken it to 3 days prior never even checked it. I enthusiastically reccomend Mitchell and I appreciated his concern to save me money and the extra time he took to give me a tutorial on my bike. I plan on having all my repairs and maintenance done by Mitchell.

Rental location is not as advertised. I was looking to use their services within the 4.5 mile geolocation of where I was residing. Instead, they were trying to send us 55 minutes away to Marble Falls.

I highly recommend not renting from this company. The jet ski we were given was janky and very sketchy to be on. After leaving a bad review on yelp, my partner was harassed by Mitchell over text, to the point he had to be blocked. Mitchell is aggressive, threatening, and unprofessional. Listen to the other one star reviews about him, and take a look at his responses. I wish we had read these reviews before renting from him because of his despicable behavior.

DONT DO IT!!Super unprofessional and unorganized, sadly. They have you park on the backside of a sketchy gas station and shuttle you in an outdated musty work truck; only to drop you off on an outdated and underpowered jet ski at a private boat ramp that they are unauthorized to use in the Lago Vista neighborhood. I’m sure the property owners association will be upset when they hear of this. They even charged me for an extra hour!! I would never go back even if they paid me. Epic boat rentals and motor sports repair?? More like, epically mediocre time for wayyy too much moolah.

Mitchell was great! Called him and he walked me through the process and gave great insight as for which location would be best. Got it booked and quickly sent me all of the info and confirmed the meet up spots. Texted the day of and confirmed. Met him there and he was ready to go right on time. Took his time to explain how to operate the jet ski and then launched us in! Not a better price out there too! Had a blast, definitely recommend to anyone! I will definitely use him again for a good time on the lake.

Horrible experience. First off the boat was an hour late. At the same time I was also having technical difficulties with my second rider, so I called Mitchell to see if I could move the time slot to another day. Mitchell said no, so me being new to the area I took it as an opportunity to explore the lake. So an hour after my original departure time, I depart.Boat malfunctioned after 20 minutes of driving. I had docked to grab ice and drinks and it would not start back up. Apparently an exposed wire had come loose under the drivers console. After trying to get help from local marina employees, Mitchells operator showed up to take a look. To no avail, i was towed back to the drop-in point.The next day Mitchell calls and begins droning for 10 minutes about his problems and accuses me of sabotaging his boat. Sorry buddy, that is not how i do business. Also he hung up on me like an immature little kid when I attempted to explain my position, which is why I have posted this bad review.He also charged my credit card the $811 deposit and $490 fee for a 4 hour boat rental. I am a very reasonable person, but this guy is not. As soon as i receive my deposit and the rental fee (minus the 20 minutes i got to drive), i will modify my review, retract my complaint with BBB and tell my small claims lawyer to cool the jets.Recommend joining boat club or going to established marina to deal with more reputable people for renting watercraft.

My son and I had a great experience. The jet ski we rented worked perfectly making for a fun day on the water. Epic Boat rentals was on time meeting us and was easy to speak with. I highly recommend.

Honestly, we got off to a bit of a rocky start, but when I tell you Mitchell made up for it and then some, I am Not exaggerating! It was my first time jet skiing and I had The Time Of My Life! Mitchell fixed my motorcycle after another mechanic messed it up, thanks to him its running great again. He informed me of every step of the work he was doing, and even sent me pics of my bike while working on it. He charged a fair amount. If you want a great and honest bike mechanic, I highly recommend Mitchell.

Email and called for booking questions. Got a call back first he corrected my wording in a rude manner then i said never mind and hung up. He kept calling me almost 6 times after I told him never mind and said his connection was bad. Then emailed me mocking what i had said which means his connection was not bad. Total scam and terrible customer service. Owner has a whole bunch of beat up Jet Skis that are in questionable conditions. Claimed my group and another group he was working with messed up his jet skis even though we followed all his instructions. Then proceeded to charge us all $500 extra for a broken part even though he acknowledged they were already problems with them and the same part beforehand.

Epic Lake Rentals is extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I would advise anyone that is looking to rent jet skis on Lake Travis to spend a little extra money and go with a more reliable and professional company.First off, we made reservations a month in advance and were charged $75 per jet ski per hour (a little over $300 total, which we prepaid). Great deal, right? When we got to the lake to meet Mitchell, he informed us that he had completely forgotten that we had reserved two jet skis. With that being said, one jet ski had a full tank of gas and the other one had approximately a quarter of a tank. We didn’t really think anything of it until we had been jet skiing for 45 minutes and the jet ski gave a “low fuel” warning. We began to ride back since we did not want to run out of gas in the middle of the lake.When we got back and explained what was going on and when we ran out of gas, he immediately gave us every excuse he could think of. He said that he figured a quarter of a tank would be enough for two hours, but then told us that we should have informed him that there was only a quarter of a tank once we got out on the lake. I’m not sure how we were supposed to know a quarter of a tank was not enough when he had just said that he assumed it would be fine. His failure to plan and prepare for a reservation that was made a month in advance is no one’s fault but his own.We were also greeted by several excuses about why we shouldn’t even receive a partial refund due to our time being cut short, starting with how a partial refund wasn’t even possible since the charge that was made a month ago hadn’t been fully processed. He also claimed that we shouldn’t be refunded anything since he let us ride the super-charged jet skis and that they normally charge more for those. We did not ask to rent a particular type of jet ski, and we did not appreciate how he acted like he was doing us a favor by giving us “better” jet skis.He stated that he would cancel the old charge completely and do a new one with his new rate of $100 an hour per jet ski (instead of the initial $75 an hour). This ended up not being true at all and we were charged a total of over $600 over two transactions, one of which had to be disputed with the credit card company.Again, this company is extremely unprofessional and seems to be incapable of taking responsibility for their actions. If you are looking to rent here, do not make the mistake of ignoring the one and two-star reviews like we did. Mitchell, please do not waste our time by attempting to demean us by saying that our review is fake or untrue like you have to other reviewers.Update: We have been refunded for the original $334 that was charged at the beginning of April since our trip was cut short because there wasnt enough gas for the two hour reservation. I made my reservation for 1 jet ski roughly a week in advance. The first red flag was that every time I called the worker he was always busy and promised to call me back. He would evidently forget and it would become my responsibility to call him back to continue to try arranging my reservation. This occurred several times. It’s as if I had to beg them to take my money. The day of our rental arrives and we drive 45 min to the lake at the predetermined location and arrive promptly on time. We scour the area trying to find our company representative but there is nobody in sight. I decided to call the company line but nobody answers. I even call another company line that I had been provided and still no answer. 20 minutes and 10 phone calls later I receive a text from one of the numbers and we exchange a couple messages and he gives me more phone numbers to try. Still no answers. As we were about to leave I received a call from Epic Lake Rentals 1 hour and 51 minutes after our scheduled rental time. They said that they thought we had rescheduled due to weather and that they had texted us. Absolutely not.Since writing this review the owner has reached out to me saying that he is sorry for my experience and offered me a refund. In addition, he described to me how difficult it was out on the lake that day. They apparently had mechanical problems with 2 jet skis and he was preoccupied driving a boat rental. In addition, it was labor day weekend so the lake was incredibly busy. This is all true and I respect him for calling and trying to make this situation right, however, the fact of the matter is that it was still a terrible experience for me and the situation could have been rectified easily via prior warning.

We rented a jet ski from this company for Spring Break. The jet ski itself kept malfunctioning while we were using it, so we were only able to use it for a couple of hours on the first day of rental. On that day we did have an accident and the jet ski hit the dock and caused some body damage.When we returned the jet ski we notified them of the damage and told them wed gladly compensate for the damage but we also wanted them to take into consideration that the unit kept malfunctioning and so we werent able to use the ski for the time we paid for it, hoping theyd credit the day we didnt operate it from the repairs.The next thing we know they charged our card for $1000 and have refused to respond to our requests for an invoice or estimate for the repairs. Were were told they received a quote for repairs, by phone, that included damage that was there before us renting the ski. We have before and after pictures of the jetski (actually a video with Michell). Were currently disputing charges with our card and will take it to the next level if necessary.It is very, very shady and extremely bad business to not provide copies of the estimate and at least allow us the opportunity to get a second opinion on the repair work. Instead he just charged our card and is ignoring all communication. We werent trying to screw him and told them wed pay for damages, but Id appreciate the same courtesy in return.Beware of this company and their unethical business practices.

Dropped a Honda Shadow 1100. Damage estimate (done by another shop) totaled out the bike by almost twice its blue book. Brought it to Epic Lake Rentals with the hope of maybe slowly piecing it back together if I was lucky. Not only did they restore nearly every part of the bike to better than before the wreak, they were kind and patient with all my questions. Best part? After scouring the web and making deals on my behalf they saved me less than 1/4 the costs on parts alone. The work was completed so quickly I was shocked. Not only would I recommend Epic Lake Rentals for motorcycle repairs, I plan to exclusively use them for all my motorcycle upkeep. Thank you guys so much for getting me back on the road. The generosity and respect I, and my family, and my wallet, were shown has made me a customer for life.

Talked to one guy who was all over the place with pricing for his jett ski rentals.Told me to meet him at some gas station and insisted I reserve and pay before he would meet me... it all felt very unprofessional so I decided to call elsewhere. He then called me about 8 times repeatedly and then text me a random address. When I responded no thank you because his prices didnt seemed legit, he started harassing me with 10 more texts. Accusing me of low balling him, and about 5 more nasty texts following. I blocked him after letting him know I would be posting this review. I would just steer clear of this business.

The response to this post will likely be predictable. It looks like any bad reviews are posed as another boat company in the area by the owner to discredit them. I assure you that I have nothing to do with the boating industry and do not live anywhere close to Austin. I have also never posted a review in my life but after my friend was harassed by this owner after my worst experience ever on a boat, it is the least I can do. He also said if a bad review was posted he would take us to court for slander. I will post updates if so.First, I busted my own myth. During the ride on our boat that was captained by Mitchell, we asked if he was the owner after some initial poor experiences we had. He replied no. We are finding in reviews that he is indeed the business owner. Interpret as you must.Showed up an hour late to our rental slot. He called us and let us know we were at the wrong location (even though his website says pickup at the 360 bridge with address). Also told us he never picks up there. (Pro tip: Change your website and email templates to mitigate this in the future) We later thought he was just running late because the boat dock he said he went to was Steiner ranch but that is only a 20 min boat drive away. However, it took him an hour to get there so that didnt add up.The boat: we didnt get the boat advertised. It is not the Moomba. It was a worn out bayliner that didnt have the bluetooth described with some wake boards that had the boots falling apart. The boat made wakeboarding tough because it couldnt pull us out of the water without sending the bow skyward. It doesnt have the v8 350 as advertised. Was some smaller mercury engine that had trouble starting at times.The experience: Mitchell spent more time talking on the phone booking other customers, texting, or dealing with customer issues than captaining our boat. I cant tell you how many times we had to tell him to go or stop because he was on his phone. We had to keep telling him to go to pull us out of the water when he was not paying attention or let him know that we dropped a rider off 100 yards back before another boat hit them, or that he was headed right for another boat when het kept texting and driving. It was so unsafe. We would have to tell him to turn the engine off so people in the water wouldnt get hit by the prop. We got a captain so we could drink however none of us wanted to because of the experience. When tubing, the default was to drag us 30 year olds in a straight line for 10 minutes. This was because he couldnt turn to make the ride interesting without taking his eyes off his phone.Lastly, after all this we chose to cut our trip short to get on with our day, Mitchell had the nerve to call us out via text for not leaving a tip with a harsh message. He also then did not calculate the total right after we left and charged us a higher amount without checking with us or giving us a heads up. We would have been fine with the miscalculation but he did this without authorization and went as far as threatening to sue us for slander if we left a bad review.My recommendation: If you do end up renting after reading this review, rent without the captain and you pretty much avoid everything mentioned above outside of the boat expectations set from the website.

I had Mitchell repair and detail my 2009 SeaDoo RXT-X. He was worried about all the details and got the ski back and running. He is reasonable on cost and willing to work hard. Save the trip to a “dealer” shop and let him fix your stuff.

Very professional and kind. we had a bad experience at another rental service in hudson bend. got on google and found epic. they was able to take us in at last minute and made sure we had a blast. very low rentals and awesome waverunners. they rented us 2 waverunners for 2 hrs on last minute notice. And my brother inlaw came all the way from jersey to experience this with us, and thought his weekend was gonna be a bummer until we went to Epic rentals. He had a blast hitting the waves on the one seater while me and my wife drove the 2 seater. we road those waves from the second we docked to the second we returned. they docked us at an awesome part of lake Austin and it was safe and fun.

Had a bad experience. I had my motor replaced and he forgot to put back my motor mounts and my ustraps.

He’s taking care you and only you when you rent from him. Very professional, competent about the business he runs. I have rented boat and jet skis multiple times in Austin and every time I would run into some issues. If you want avoid that, mitchel is your guy!

Went to the lake and met up with the owner Mitchell Tamburri, who was very friendly and made our rental as easy and fun as possible. We rented three jet skis for four hours, and got out on Lake Austin and explored all over the whole lake!He has a really nice Moomba wakeboard boat we are gonna rent out next time we head out to the lake, along with however many skis he has available for that day. Epic lake Rentals has very reasonable prices, and outstanding service. They do all of the work and make it an Epic experience!
