I love leaving reviews and rarely do I ever l leave a bad one, but this experience was so poor that I feel people should just be aware. The only reason I can surmise of that this wrecker even exists is because they were the city’s lowest bidder. They were rude, unkind, and unprofessional at every step. They lost our paperwork, said they couldn’t find our vehicle, and made it seem like we were crazy for thinking that they had it.Like all things government, they simply exist and do poor jobs because they have a contract that pays them regardless of services rendered. Should you get in an accident, I recommend calling your own wrecker and not allowing them to take your vehicle.

Most unprofessional wrecker service I have ever been stuck with due to a vehicle wreck. Nobody would tell us where the vehicle was. We got several different prices that they wanted us to pay in cash. They sent us to the wrong place and made us way outside the gate for over an hour. Then we had to go to another location outside of Austin in the middle of nowhere. The vehicle wasnt at either site. We paid over $500 for an overnight stay and towing. We had to wait for it to be delivered at their convenience. One good thing is the delivery Wrecker driver, he was professional and very skilled. This is why the company gets one star. :-(

My car was towed to their lot as a result of an accident. The sheriffs contacted them. I was told by my insurance to remove my personal belongings from my vehicle. I went yesterday and the lady there would not allow us to remove the sub and amp from the vehicle. We advised her it is clearly aftermarket and are not going to cut any wires, these are items I am removing from my vehicle before the insurance has my car taken to Temple. She said they couldnt allow it, blah blah blah. Yet they have a sign in the front where it states they are not responsible for theft, missing items or damage from vehicles. But you dont want to allow people to take items from their own vehicle.! All I know is these items better not go missing from my vehicle..

Had an encounter with one of their trucks driving VERY recklessly on the road going 60+ in a 40mph, swerving, and tailgating me. Was stopping at a yellow light and the driver rather than slow down and stop behind me blew past me nearly missing slamming into the back of me. After this he got behind me and was following less than 10ft behind my car which NO ONE should be doing especially someone driving a truck that big. I would NEVER let my car get on the back of one of their tow trucks.... bottom line.

Driver Paul was quick to arrive at my location, was professional, and even sent a text with photo to let me know my car had been safely delivered to the mechanic. He helped ease the stress of a stressful situation!

Rachel (manager) was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was attempting to get information about a vehicle towed after a wreck. Had to escalate to a manager. I guess I was asking Rachel too many questions so she told me she was going to hang up and she did.Absolutely the worst.

If i could give less than a star i would the woman who answers the phone is beyond ugly you would think someone who is dealing with ppl on the worst day of their lives would have a little more compassion or at the very least some customer service skills but no she was ugly and extremely impatient as i was dealing with my husbands accident and trying to get his belongings out of the truck

At 6903 Airport Blvd, there is a predatory towing scheme happening to many innocent customers outside the Mexican restaurant in the Asian plaza.My boyfriend and I parked our car to find it missing. The similar review regarding this situation is true; signs are posted for “shopping and dining”, which many are doing, yet are getting towed in this specific parking area. We watched atleast 6 people get towed.After questioning my boyfriend’s ID, the man we met for our appointment failed to know that an “insured driver” on the insurance sheet could take ownership of the car. He even went as far as mentioning how his middle name was not printed on the insurance, implying it was not his car.These people are criminals with a towing license.They will give you a difficult time in an effort to make more money and take advantage of you. Beware.

My car got in a wreck and when I asked the guy to send it to my address he refused to do so and proceeded to say insurance would pay for it when I requested specifically for my vehicle to be sent to my own address instead of their yard. My car was at their yard for no more than 20 minutes and they charged us $320 just for them to release it the same day. Do not waste your time and money with these guys. They are unprofessional and a bunch of scammers. Stay away!!

Hands down the worst tow company I have ever worked with. We operate trucks all across the South West and use a lot of tow companies, but none have ever been as bad as this group. Poor customer service and constant lies from the staff or the top takeaways from this group. Avoid Aviles at all cost, you will have a miserable experience.

Please be aware of this company. This was by for the worst customer service experience in any type of business I have encountered. As stated numerous times, the lady who answers the phone does not care on what you have to say. She hangs up constantly on you for just asking questions and the whereabouts of your vehicle.This wrecker service and the restaurant Taqueria Los Jaliscienses who’s address is 6903 Airport Blvd, Austin Texas are running a predatory towing scheme and taking advantage of customers parking in the strip center where the restaurant is located.We parked our vehicle in a spot where there are signs screed to a tree and others printed out on copy paper and taped to the tree) stating that parking is for only “shopping” and “dining”. We were “shopping” in the strip center inside one of the stores and were in and out in 10 minutes. We walked out and discovered our vehicle was gone. As we approached the spot where our vehicle was, there was another lady there trying to figure out what happened and why her car was missing. We didn’t know if our cars were stolen or towed. She stated she parked beside us and ran into a store and was back out less than 5 minutes and her vehicle was gone. We then had to call the number that was hand written on the sign on the tree and we’re told to call back in 30 minutes. Until then they could not disclose where our vehicle was being taken to. About 20 minutes later the driver of the tow truck returned. My wife then approached him and asked if he took our car and he said yes. He told us the owner of the restaurant had pictures of us walking into the stores and not his restaurant therefor he called them to have our cars towed. If the owner of the restaurant has pictures and witnessed us walking into the stores, why couldnt he let us know not to park there and to move our cars. We would have been glad to if we weren’t supposed to. Again, the signs that are there say that you can “shop” or “dine”. He then was trying to take another vehicle of a family but by wife didn’t let him and stood behind there car until they returned.When finally calling the number of the sign, we were able to get the address of where to pickup our vehicle. When we arrived and knocked on the door, we were then greeted by the lady who is mentioned several times. She was very rude and as I tried to discuss why I feel our vehicle was towed illegally and the signs that are posted say you can “shop”, she stated when I’m ready to hand over my license and pay to knock on the door and so we can get our car back. She them slammed the door in my face and locked it behind her. I then decided to call the sheriffs department and requested to have a deputy on scene before continuing to try and speak with the woman. When they arrived, he told us we just needed to pay the fee and handle it once we get our vehicle back in a civil court case. He stated he and his colleagues have been to this establishment several times for the same reasons and he’s sure it wouldn’t be his last time. I was able to retrieve my vehicle after paying the $230.00 fee.It’s not about the fee that I had to pay, it’s about the malicious scheme that this restaurant owner and the tow truck company have to deliberately wait for customers to park, and then take their vehicle when they enter the stores. It’s sad in the times we are in, in the middle of a pandemic, that we have crooks out there taking advantage of hard working citizens. I hope karma catches up with all these people involved and I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere if you are need of wrecker services.

Very rude on the phone and in person, didn’t disclose anything as I was the victim of a hit and run. If I had known how overpriced it was would’ve left my broken car on the side of the road or just used another towing company to take it home.

This tow truck company needs to be investigated. Today I had the hardest time dealing with this company. The first person I spoke with was a rude woman who refused to provide me with any information. Im sure its the same woman that everyone is talking about in these negative reviews. She hung up on me a number of times and refused to assist me until I got the police involved. They changed the price three different times. From $200, $250, and finally $325. When the truck driver showed up today the first thing he did was take a picture of me. From the beginning he was very rude. He was talking to me and my friend like he was the police. Once we got into the impound I asked what his name was and he got upset and told me I wasnt getting the car. At this point I was fed up with him being so aggressive and said fine let me go. He then turned around and began to walk off into the tow yard. I asked him for my ID back and he refused to give me back my idea. I had to snatch it out of his hand. I asked him to let me out of the gate that was locked but he refused. So basically he kidnapped me. I asked him repeatedly and eventually had to call the police. The police showed up and made him let me out. What I experienced today was horrible. Ill be filling a civil lawsuit and filling a complaint with TDLR.

My experience was nothing like the general consensus is. Driver arrived in under an hour (pretty typical), great guy (Bri) loaded my vehicle and dropped it at the shop. Exact service I would expect.

Insurance went to them because they had the shortest wait time of 1.5hrs and after two hours they still said it was going to take another 40min. Called multiple times to check up and they kept giving inaccurate arrival times. Maybe understaffed or busy but I’ve never had to wait for longer than an hour when in the middle of a city. Would recommend going somewhere else.

I had a crashed car. Police called this company towed and stored my car to one of their storages. They charge high prices, are not flexible, never on time, rude, very poor service and communication. Not sure why the local police would give business to this company.

My insurance company called this company for me and Im so happy they did! The girls in the office were very calm with my ramblings. They told me exactly where the tow truck driver was and I had no worries in the world. My tow truck driver was TERRY, the best tow truck driver Ive ever had. Terry was very polite, told me all about his beautiful family, hes just an amazing human being. This tow company is amazing, I hope my insurance company calls them every time I break my car. Honestly does anyone like the tow company? These guys are especially bad though. Theyll nickel and dime you to death. Avoid them at all costs. I only interacted with them because Williamson county called them

The tow truck driver named John helped me out today with my broken down mustang. He arrived a bit earlier than the ETA provided by my insurance company which was great, because we arrived at the auto shop as soon as it opened. John was super friendly and took great car of my car and transporting it. Great business and employees! - Kyle Salaga

Negative stars. WORST TOWING COMPANY EVER. I’m not sure how these people are in business, but I intend to make it known how awful these people are. My longtime boyfriend worked incident free for Gabriel Aviles for a month, without proper pay. He was given the run around and told by other employees that “Gabe’ doesn’t pay you for the first two weeks you work for them- you’ll get 2 checks when you quit”. That doesn’t work for people with children and bills, knowing that this company’s pay schedule is weekly. When he finally decided to resign, Gabriel and his girlfriend Rachel decide they will not pay him for services rendered. They will not speak to him, hang up in his face and refuse to answer any questions. In what world can you refuse to pay people for working?? It’s been two weeks since his final pay was owed by TEXAS LAW, and still nothing. Please don’t waste your money dealing with awful people. The drivers are okay people but the office and owner are operating ILLEGALLY based on Texas Labor Law. Im in the processing of calling regulating board, local and state entity, every car insurance company I can think of and share our experiences with them. I also, plan to update and share the results of this issue once the Labor Board and BBB have made a decision.***UPDATE*** owners continuously lying! These people had a proper address that this man has received mail to, for over 10 Years, the length of my relationship to this man. This “business” is operating illegally, unethically and in bad taste. Still haven’t received the payments, and still pursuing every legal and civil option to highlight this awful company. No story to make up, you don’t pay your employees as outlined by Texas labor laws and when someone FINALLY called you on it, you make it harder to get the payment.

We got into a wreck this morning and our truck was towed by this company. Went to get some stuff out of truck and when we arrived ...the lady just said do you have an appointment. We said no we didnt know we needed one. She rudely said you have to make appointment. So we called to make an appointment and was told to come back in an hour with copy of insurance and Id. We come back hour later as told. The lady inside was rude yet again asking if we made the necessary appointment and we said yes we did. So she calls someone on the phone who tells her that we hung up on them before they could get all necessary information from us which was a lie. They didnt ask us for any information. So we called back and complained saying it was a lie so lady on phone apologizes and said she would let the lady at the yard know and have her help us. As soon as we walk back in the lady inside immediately tells us to wait outside as she is helping another customer. Its 40 degrees outside and she leaves us standing out there!!!!! When we get frustrated at the situation she gives us more attitude!!! We didnt ask to get into a wreck and we damn sure didnt ask to have our truck towed to your place. We will never allow our vehicles to be towed by you and we will make sure others know. We were treated like absolute scum and it was totally unacceptable!!!

I have never had a worse experience than dealing with one of their guys. Called a jump with my insurance for 6, I’m an hourly worker so couldn’t get out to my car until then. James, the guy assigned, called me at 5:45, seemed to already be super annoyed that I wasn’t outside. I kindly let him know I could try to leave early. I did. Called him when I was downstairs. He was mumbling, so I politely asked him to repeat himself. He ‘clapped back’, as the kids say, yelling”WHAT. FLOOR. IS. YOUR. CAR. ON.?” Extremely rude, I told him the first, nothing. As I hang up, I admit to calling him a d***... shortly after, I get a text saying “this d*** left, good luck with your car”... I am in customer service, and if I ever talked to one of my customers like he did to me, I would expect to be called a name. I called the company back to tell them what happened. The dispatcher, who previously was so nice, proceeded to tell me it was my fault for saying what I said, and she WAS the manager apparently. This was the most ridiculous professional experience I’ve ever been a part of. Luckily, a real professional, Lorenzo, came instead and was nothing but kind and professional. Thanks Lorenzo. If it were just for him, I’d recommend this company, but unfortunately their management is extremely lacking and I don’t want to give them another dime.

We had a tow set up through our insurance carrier. Driver showed up in timely manner AND helped us figure out why our truck wasnt working, saving us a tow and repair costs! Thank you, sir (whose name I forgot to get because I was so pumped to not have a broken truck anymore)!

Negative Stars!!! This tow company is a scam artist looking to rip off Texans. First off the customer service was absolutely horrible. The refused to look up the car and help me find out where it was located. Rachel didn’t want to tell me what the daily fees were. The dispatcher decided they would scold me on what the law that I had broken rather than assist me and tell me about the fees. She hung up in the middle of me asking a question. I’ve been calling back the last two days and I can’t get anyone to answer my call. I have no idea where my car is or how much I owe them. I’m reporting them TDLR ASAP.

If I could go lower I would. The operator was horrible. I was treated like a criminal for my car even being there. They would not let me have the location of my car. The operator was combative and very aggressive. Never call them.

Had these guys help me out twice and both times, the drivers were courteous and took care of business. Gabriel just helped me out last Friday and he was able to get my lowered car up without damaging anything! Would recommend!

Upon taking pictures of his license plate and truck, the driver who almost wrecked my car and then proceeded to lock my keys in it out of spite threatened to call the cops on my boyfriend.The absolute only reason these guys were called is because our insurance company sent them to retrieve my car, which had broken down in a side neighborhood off of I-183. The driver should only have taken an hour to get there, so we were told, but took two. We had informed the insurance company that the keys were also locked inside the car; upon arriving, the driver told us that it would be fine and he would tow it anyway. As soon as we pulled out of the neighborhood, my car was whipped around his truck and drug through the grass before he finally got it together.Shortly thereafter, the driver finally pulled over and tried to charge my boyfriend $25 to get the keys out of the car (we were later told, when we called to complain, that the company does not permit this kind of behavior and money should only be exchanged through the owners). And then, when we finally got home, the driver INTENTIONALLY locked my keys back in my car.I have never been so angry in my life, and I have never hoped so badly that a business gets run into the ground as badly as I wish now to see this company go out of business. When we tried to call and complain about our experience, we were disregarded and told that we would receive a call back from the owners. No such call has found its way to us, but I will be holding Aviles and Gabes completely responsible for any damage done to my axles or tires during the reckless and unwarranted treatment of my car. My insurance company already knows.

Terrible place for your car to end up. The ladies working at this place cannot be more incompetent. They will give you inaccurate information over the phone to then charge you more out of nowhere and change the requirements to get your car out. Samantha does not know anything about her job, she says the accept checks then she changes her mind, she gives you an amount then is $25 more expensive that they cannot explain. And the “manager”, Rachel is the worst of all, blames the new employee on her mediocre way of treating customers and end up making you pay for their own mistakes. Extremely incompetent and like other people say here they are licensed scumbags.

My mother past away in a car accident and her car was towed, they were rude to us, when we were trying to get her belongings.The insurance company didnt cover the towing and we NEVER wanted the car back, so we wanted to sign the car over to them, they said 250.00 and then changed it to 400.00 to give them a title!!! Mind you the whole bill was 700.00 and they are salvaging the car.They said if we took to long to decide the price would go up hirer to transfer the title.I would NEVER EVER want to do business with them again!

Though the circumstances were awful for me, Terry went out of his way to make sure my vehicle would end up back to me. I didnt have my license, nor could I get one, but he was sure to communicate ways for me to get the right paperwork, and quickly. He was cheerful, patient, and made one of the worst days of my life, seem not so bad. Thanks Terry for your wonderful service!

I gave them five stars because I didnt have no problems trying to get a wrecker on anything and my car was towed fast. Terry is the best I would recommend him!! If I ever need a wrecker I know where to go!!

On 9/15/14, I went to the parking garage at my office to find my battery dead. I work for UT and our parking department has a contract with this company to assist us with dead batteries and whatnot. Louis came out and was unable to get his huge truck into our very low ceiling-ed basement garage. He immediately thought of pushing the car (uphill) to get it out of the garage. The car was so dead, we couldnt even get it into neutral. So, he made a call back to the office to see abut a smaller truck. There wasnt one available. He suggested some kind of charging box (sorry, I cant remember what he called it). He told them to call him as soon as they located one. In the meantime, he asked me if I had cables too. I did. So he angled his truck as close inside as he could and linked my cables and his and was able to make a connection. We got enough of a charge that he could at least get the car in neutral. He then moved the car close enough to be able to use his cables. The car started immediately! He then had me wait a couple of minutes to make sure it stayed running. Louis was so polite and helpful and didnt give up! The icing on the cake, he offered to follow me a few miles to make sure nothing else happened. What service!

Alex, the man who came to get my car was amazing!! He was super nice, talkative, and quick. The office staff was HORRIBLE. I had been at the scene of the accident a very long time and had to use the restroom VERY bad. Even though Im a PAYING CUSTOMER, the office staff REFUSED to let me use the restroom, making me walk across the street to use the restroom. I cant believe that. I had just been hit from behind, sprained my back and neck, and they wouldnt even let me use the restroom. I am beyond frustrated!!!!!!!!!

Polite, reliable, knowledgeable about our car. Another wrecker declined serving because they were not able to get the Pacifica into neutral gear. We will call them in the future and we highly recommend them.

My car has been vandalized and he suggested me, spoke to the insurance agent . He helped a lot when insurance guys were pushing everything on me. I love these guys and recommend everyone one. They took an extra step calling me and following up about my towing. Made my day.

I’m logged under my son name but the lady at the Yager lane location was so disrespect I had injuries due to my accident that I was in and I need to get my military uniforms out and it was a heavy bag she would not let my boyfriend help me and was very rude when I make it known she didn’t care about any disabilities.

You must call an hour before you arrive and they close sharply at 4. No exceptions.

I just called and the woman hung up on me twice, my parents were hospitalized after a terrible accident were the car was totaled, I called since Ill be paying for the fees, they refused to help or even acknowledge me and said that my dad had to call, he is hospitalized, do you think he is going to call, we are just trying to help. In the end, he refused to help and hung up, terrible terrible service, please stay away at all costs.

Ive never been so happy to give a towing company my money. I didnt ask for this tow, my truck was called in to be towed by someone else. Terry met me to get my truck out twice, because the first time I did not have the correct documentation. He was early to both appointments, super helpful about what I needed to bring in, and just a great guy to do business with. It is very easy to see that he truly cares about his clients. Stephanie was a pleasure to work with as well. She called me back when she said she would with the information that I requested, and had great communication the entire time.I manage a local service company with a small fleet and theyve made a bad situation for me so pleasant that when at all possible I will be giving them my business.

This is the worse wrecker company I have dealt with. Wendy dispatcher is rude and disrespectful. On today I called and I needed my medication that was in my car from being towed. She tells me I would have to wait till Monday in the midst of explaining cant wait she hangs up on me. Every time I tried to explain she would hang up on me. Her customer service is beyond outrage. I would not have her work for me or deal with customers. She is a disgrace to this business. My medication was critical that I have.

They were sent out by my insurance company Germania. Arrived in 30 min and called on my cell phone before arriving. Driver (Dave) was polite and friendly. The payment was handled with no money changing hands through the insurance company. The car is a hybrid, and the driver was knew that he couldnt tow it with the rear wheels on the ground or it would burn up the hybrid system.

They didn’t give us a choice where to tow it. They charge $466 from Sunday night to Tuesday afternoon. We asked where is the car and got the reply somewhere back in the yard. Oh and you can’t drive your trailer back there so if it is not drivable you have to push it the half mile to the driveway. This place is horrible!!! Can’t believe the city would use them at all.Update: asked for an itemize list of charges so we could be reimbursed from our insurance company. They sent it certified mail so I had to take off work early go to the post office to sign for it in person because signing the form wasn’t enough, just to find out the exact charges. It’s like they go out of their way to make having a car accident and using their tow service to be as painful as frustrating And as annoying as possible !

HORRIBLE customer service. Left me in the rain for over 2.5 hours. When he arrived he wouldnt even speak to me. Then when I asked he said he couldnt tow it. Then they call my insurance company to sabotage them from getting me a tow that could actually do the job. They were rude pieces of trash! Do not use these sorry pathetic for human beings who are just pissed off their broke asses have to work in a crap hole. I will be reporting to the BBB. My car got towed the website said its a 24/7 service the woman answered the phone said call back from 9-4 pmand hung the phone up in my face then I called during the hours of operation that she told me and she kept hanging up in my face and refuse to give any service.

Horrible service, do not ever have them tow your vehicle for any reason. They tell you that you have to make and appointment and then nobody is told to meet you at the time of appointment. The staff is rude and very arrogant. Worst experience ever and I just came to pick up my truck that was stolen.

I just tried to call to get my vehicle. My GPS appears to show it in their lot. It is possible it could be in a neighboring lot, but the call taker was rude and refused to answer a couple simple questions before hanging up on me and then refusing to answer the line.

After being involved in an accident, we went to this fine establishment to retrieve our vehicle. They promptly denied out request due to their inability to access my vehicle in their own yard. Set another appointment they say. Arrive at the second appointed time and nobody shows after waiting 1 hour past the appointment. At this point we decide we will try our luck the next day. Call the next day, and despite Texas law stating that all vehicles must be released with 1 hour notice, we are told that since we cancelled it will be more than 4 hours before they can release the vehicle. We were there at the agreed upon time with all documents twice and were denied both time. The staff was very rude. Good thing these crooks dont have to rely on good customer service to keep getting work.

Awful, awful customer service. I waited an hour and a half for a tow truck. Called to get an updated ETA and the girl working was rude. Apparently they didnt have my gate code even though I called them with it so I got pushed back to the back of the line without even a phone call to let me know what was going on. Dont waste your time or money.

Caused damage to my car had another witness to the indent and supervisor said seemed fishy cause I wanted compensation.

I was in an accident on 12/22. Wrecker Service picked up my car at 1:30 pm. On Thursday 12/26 my insurance and garage tried to pick up my car. When they called they were told they didnt have my vehicle. I had to call multiple number and placed on hold. Finally I reached someone and they said they found my car and told the insurance agency. I asked why were they told the day before they didnt have my car. All I got was it wasnt entered in their system. REALLY!!! 3 business days!! Now I have to wait another 24 to 48 hours for my car to be towed to the service garage. They were very rude!! Spent a lot of time on hold getting the run around.0000000 stars

Do NOT do business with this company. The receptionist are rude and disrespectful. They are scam artist and cannot be trusted. They will over charge you. If I could, Id leave no stars.

Been reading all these reviews and can’t understand how they can get a 5star rating after all of them are so poor. Glad those people had a better experience but they couldn’t have dealt with the same people I did. They asked my dad to be here early in the morning, we show up and they are late to start with (30 mins late) when we see they tow truck get here with another car, they don’t even acknowledge us and start unloading the other car. After 10 mins my dad goes to the guy to ask if he will be the one helping us and says “yes later” so my dad asks okay I come to pick up my car “yes later”, well over the phone I was told to be here at 10:30, “yes later”. SERIOUSLY! You can disrespect me but not my dad. I was visibly upset but there was no point in giving this guy the Satisfaction who after knowing we had been waiting for over 30 mins, still continued to careless.Awful partnership from Travis county, so disappointed!!!!! What an awful experience hereUpdate: we’re here, give the papers and the guy says he has to leave and will be back in an hour. This has got to be the worst of the worst. They are terrible. My car wouldnt start after getting gas for some engine problems that pep boys didnt fix properly even twice after. I waited over 1.5 hours after calling and talking to a rude woman. After waiting for the divers call for 30 minutes I called again only to find out the guy had a police call when he was 3 minutes from me according to their tracker and turned around. No one notified me. Waited over 15 mins to hear from the new tow truck and nothing. By the way.....I called at 1:15 its now 3:20 and Im still at the gas station.

Five coaches from the Denton area were in a wreck on I35, leaving their school suburban totaled. It was towed to this wrecker service. The employees at this wrecking service were rude and unsympathetic during this trying time. Instead of trying to make things easier for these visitors to our area, they only made matters worse with their attitudes and condescending remarks. Got a flat on my bike, called Geico. Geico ordered a tow from these guys. Given 90 minute wait time. Truck was a no show. I call them and the dispatcher had the berve to lie and make some false excuse about why the truck was not there and why they did not communicate it was not going to be on time. She then could not provide a new ETA. Called Geico back. Gieco states they contacted them and got a new ETA. News flash, they did not show up for that ETA nor communicate they would be late. Got a ride to Home Depot, rented a truck for $19 bucks. Got my bike loaded and home in 25 minutes what these guys could not do in over 2.5 hours. Dont use this company or expect to get jerked around

Worst wrecker company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Office staff is beyond rude.

Call in a tow, am told half an hour. Guy doesnt show for four hours even though I called twice to get an update on time. Guy shows up to pick up my car very late, after dark, and attempts to persuade me to let him drop my car off in a random parking lot in south Austin. He wants me to sign a waiver. I simply told him no and that I would use another service, one that shows up on time and doesnt try to convince me to drop my car off in an unattended lot because they put my car on the backburner. That is literally what the driver said, that he put me on the backburner. Dont use this company, theyre terrible and they do not care about your car. The guy tried to sneakily have me sign the waiver and it was only because I asked that he told me what the waiver was. At that point, I was happy to waste his time and gas for being a liar. This could have been avoided by simply being honest about time so I could have rescheduled.

STAY AWAY from these rude people! Went in to get items from my vehicle after a traffic accident and was treated like my car was repossessed and I was some criminal. No hello or hi for a greeting but rather was told the rules of the place by two employees as if it was an argument. Two seconds in the door and Im defending myself because i walked in the wrong direction to the office. They want to delay everything so they can keep your car longer on the lot so they can charge you or insurance storage fees. Its a joke of an operation people, DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU when you are writing a similar review. 2 thumbs down... give some other place your money and time.

My car overheated on our drive home on Christmas day. I called AAA, and they said a company near us would call to let us know when they could come. 20 minutes later, the dispatcher calls and tells me that all of their drivers are busy and it will be about 2 hours for anyone to get out to us. Its 30 degrees out and getting colder. 15 minutes after that, Greg from Aviles and Gabes calls and tells us that hell be there in 15 minutes. It turns out that the AAA service subcontracted our call out on account of how busy they were. Once he got to us it was all smooth sailing, really nice guy. Aside from the slow start with the normal AAA company, I think this has been the best towing experience that ive had to date.

My insurance company, Geico, referred me to Aviles & Gabes and Im so grateful that they did! The girl in the office/on the phone was a breeze to deal with. She got all of the info and then quoted me a very reasonable price. I didnt feel pressured by her at all, which, considering my stress level at the time, was a relief all on its own. They were also super flexible as I wasnt sure if Id be getting a ride home with a friend or the tow truck itself. My friend ended up scooping me up - not because the tow truck was slow, they just happened to be right around the corner. Regardless, Aviles & Gabes remained flexible with me the entire time.Then things got even better because Terry came into the picture. To put it simply, Terry is the freakin best. He was in communication with me throughout the entire process and didnt bat an eye at my, at times, frenetic questions and general anxiety about the situation. In fact, I think he somehow managed to diffuse a lot of that anxiety with his calm, friendly demeanor.When he arrived, within the quoted time frame to boot (~1hour), he didnt just drop my car off. He is extremely knowledgable about cars and was able to tell me not just what the issue most likely was, but the how and the why of it which my brain (read: anxiety) really needs. Oh, and it doesnt hurt that hes one of the most affable people Ive had the pleasure of meeting.I was a bit bummed that I didnt have any cash to tip him and he just smiled and said, Why would you? That tells me everything I need to know about how this company is run and how they must treat their employees. If I am ever again in need a of a tow I would rather wait 2 hours for Aviles & Gabes than go with anyone else. I mean, at the end of a stressful situation full of uncertainty and worry, Im sitting here, relaxed, not pacing around frantically, with a big smile on my face and gratitude in my heart.A+++++Highly Recommended!Terry is the man!Thank you!!!

After having my star to go out in my truck I called USAA to have my truck towed this is the company they sent out when my truck arrived at my house the truck was damaged the ladder rack & Ladder or broken off the bed of the truck the bed was damaged when I called to speak with the driver he acted like I never had a ladder or latter rack on my truck I am a roofer I do this every day I dont understand why they could not be honest and just tell me that they damage my vehicle. The owner also called me later in the day and try to deny that anything was done to my pickup and that I didnt know what I was talking about and proceeded to hang up on me I filled out a report with USAA also call towing enforcement to do an investigation and press charges on the driver for theft of a 28 ft ladder and ladder rack I wish you didnt have to go this way but you should own up to what you have done to other peoples vehicles

These people are crooks and if involved in a traffic accident, under no circumstance sign their tow truck ticket as they will make the tow a consent tow and charge higher fees than allowed. They are also under investigation by the Austin Police Department and the UT Austin Police Department for posting their tow signs on city street signs and towing vehicles without authorization. Always file the TDLR complaints against these crooks if ever towed by them for any reason!

These people towed my car before my wrecker service showed up. i called them and they put some guy on there trying to tell me to call the police for info. it took three weeks to find out where car was and now he catches an attitude on phone and hangs up. i guess he can keep the car. it was totaled anyway, i was trying to do the right thing and this is what happend . they are using the police to hide behind for towing without concent. my wife was in shock and they are like ambulance chasing lawyers. they suck

After my 65 year old mother was in a car accident, traveling from Killeen to San Antonio, this HORRIBLE company towed her car. My mom was alone and transported to the hospital. These people were less than helpful. I called twice and was rudely told I can only pick up her medications and personal items from 930-330. I informed them that I live out of town and I was told that was not their problem. I had to eventually call the police, just to get my moms item from her vehicle. This is the WORST company I have ever encountered. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and TDR.

Well our ins called this service. ETA of 60 mins. When we called 45 mins just to see how far out he was. The girl in the office was Very Rude!!! Not impressed with this company. We will be also be informing USAA Ins.

Worse experience ever. DO NOT USE! They were called by Onstar services and have an ETA of 60 minutes. 60 minutes came & went. Onstar called to check the status of my tow. They have them on hold for 25 minutes without an update. I called the operators were rude and told me that it will be another 45 minutes bc they had to rearrange towing & I needed to wait another 45-60 minutes. I asked why this was not to myself or Onstar bc the dealership where the vehicle was being towed closed at 7 & I needed to obtain a loaner car. The operator asked said so they have a night drop. I expressed to her that I needed to get a loaner car & if the towing ETA changed I or Onstar shouldve have been notified. In the process of me expressing my concern the operator put me on hold & did not notify me. The next operator picked up the line without saying hello & told me the dealership has a night drop. When I noticed I was speaking with another operator. I expressed my concern with the previous operators poor customer service. The new operator told me that it was untrue & her operator asked me to hold on (which was false), then I asked to speak to a manager & she stated she was the manager & was not going to argue with me. I hung up & reported them to Onstar & hopefully Onstar will cancel their contract with them. DO NOT USE, THE OPERATORS are RUDE & DISHONEST. THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE CHANGES And expect you to wait 4 hours for a tow.
