Almost six years ago I used their service and they did an excellent job. Today I went in to discuss a vehicle issue. Robby and Stephanie were very cordial and made it easy to drop in and visit. They were patient with all of my questions. Despite being busy that day they gave me 100% of their attention, which I appreciated very much. If something happens to your car I would recommend Service King at North Lamar.

These people gave me a $4000 estimate then when I dope my car off they change it to $8500. They had pre-existing damage they was trying to get my insurance to pay for. They have my car over a week and had not did nothing. I got so upset with them I just went and got my car. The had marked my car up all over with a orange market like a bunch of clowns. It was mark where they was not even nothing. Dont take you car to these people at all !!!!! They will total your cat out for work thats 3000 then take your car and resell it. Worst experience I have ever deal with. Allstate have them as they preferred lender.
They did a very good job getting my car back in shape after the body and one of the wheels were vandalized. They communicated regularly about the status of the repairs and the manager was up-front and kind. The quality of work was high and, so far, Im very satisfied with the services provided.

They took great care of my car. Replaced what was damaged, washed and detailed my car like I just brought it off the lot. Also, they are fast workers. They did all of this work in a week?! Very fast and friendly service. Jeremy was my contact person and he was fabulous. He sent me regular text to let me know each step of the process with my vehicle. I knew when the parts had been ordered, when they had been put on my vehicle, and when the car had been painted. When I picked my vehicle up Jeremy had even washed it and cleaned the inside. I would definitely recommend service king to anyone that needs collision repair. The entire staff is amazing.

Everyone I spoke with was very courteous and they gave me a lot of details of what they did to my car. They were also very flexible and gave me different options to pick up my car and also used all safety measures for the delivery. I was very pleased with the results.

Jeremy and the team did a great job. Absolutely nothing wrong. Showed up with the car dropped it off and was gone within 20min. They also finished a few days before they expected so we got the car back earlier.
I feel much better than my last review so I decided to edit this review. Jesse Johnson, the manager, is the sweetest. He had driven all of the way to my job (and its a distance from their office) to look at my vehicle of the work that his employees had done, for my comfort, instead of I having driven to him. Thank you, Jesse, although this bit of work should have been done right the first time, you are a safer of time. In addition to the fact that he did a little work, to complete my satisfaction, on my vehicle. I am very satisfied with you and thanks, again, for the time that you had taken to drive to me. You saved me a lot of time. You turned my frown upside down and thanks, too, for the information for recommendation.
Ive used this Service King twice now. Both times, they have been courteous and patient. The work completed was very professional and well done. The second time I used this location, my car ended up being totaled, and the person at faults insurance was HORRIBLE. Service King was super helpful, patient, and understanding. They offered good advice, and were much more decent to me in my moments of frustration than I deserved. Special props go out to Leigh at the front desk-- shes just super kind. Another person complained in a different review that they had a service agent leave them waiting for a long time after a scheduled appointment-- I wonder if they had the same guy as me? His name was Oscar-- he seemed like he just didnt have his stuff together like the rest of the crew around there. However, I found that the rest of the crew around there was very willing to step up and help-- even the gentleman who Im pretty sure is the manager stepped up to help me when it was time to clean out my car so that it could be salvaged and Oscar was no where to be found. I even found the guys who work in the shop quite nice-- One guy helped me when I realized, (after I had cleaned out by car,) that I wanted to reclaim the spare tire. Im pretty sure the guy thought I was nuts to come and take the spare tire from my car, but... he was still extremely nice and helpful to this crazy lady. (FYI-- Spare tires are not standard equipment in mustangs these days, and I had purchased that one on my own, so I wanted it for my new car.) Thanks Service King. I sincerely hope I never need your services again, but Im glad to know youre there if I do!
My recent experience with Service King at this location was excellent. The staff were so courteous and professional that I had to check for spotlights to make sure I wasnt on the set of some nostalgic movie about what the 1950s were supposedly like.Everyone I dealt with here seemed to know what they were doing, and everyone made an effort to make sure I understood the whole process and was kept in the loop. My car looks good as new, there was no hassle involving my insurance, and I would definitely come back here if I ever needed another repair.
Car was ready on time and cleaner than when I brought it in. Bumper looks great and trunk aligns like new. Only issue was they forgot to replace the license plate lights.
Came here to get my car fixed from an accident and the others party suggested service king. Dropped my car off and was told that I would be contacted for updates. I had to call to see if they had started on my car yet and order the parts. A week goes by I called again to see the status of my car. Another week goes by I called three times to get an eta for my car since I was renting a car just so I know when How much longer to extend the rental. Long story short customer service sucks and I will not be returning even though what they fix is still broken.

I brought my 1992 Civic in to have the front end repainted due to the large number of rock chips that had accumulated over the years. Although they normally dont work on cars over 20 years old they agreed since the car was in excellent condition and the fact that I had been a Farmers Insurance agent for 38 years and had sent more than 100 cars to the shop. The car came out and looked great, but after about 6 weeks the inner wheel well liner came loose and wrapped around the wheel. Their work has a lifetime guarantee, but I tried to fix it myself just to save the trouble of bringing it in. I wasnt able to, so I brought it in and they put in the new wheel liner I had ordered. After about a month, that one came off as well. Obviously it hadnt been installed correctly. I called the shop and they said they needed an original Honda part and that was why it failed. They said they would not order the part or pay for it since the old one was damaged during the repair. I was dealing with a manager, Bob Youngberg, and he said to call him once the part came in and they would fix the issue. I finally found one online and paid to have it shipped from Japan. When I called Mr Youngberg, he told me they had decided that they were not going to fix the car. When I reminded him that he had told me to order the part and call him, he repeated that they were not going to fix it. I then told him that I have the lifetime warranty on repairs and he just kept saying they were declining the job. He said that he wasnt making money on this because he didnt write the original estimate. I told him that the warranty had nothing to do with his bonuses and I still needed him to honor his word and the company warranty and fix my car. I asked for the name of his supervisor and he said they had already discussed this and I couldnt bring my car back. I still asked for the supervisor to call back and he did. Robbie Wattis was very professional and arranged to have the car fixed. They did it and did a great job. Mr Youngberg was very unprofessional and somewhat rude. I reminded him that I had sent over 100 clients there and that apparently meant nothing to him. I would not deal with him at all because you cant trust what he says. Everyone else at the shop was great, as they have always been. The only reason why I am giving more than one star is because of Mr. Wattis. Mr Youngberg should not be dealing with the public.
This Service King location is great.I had my rear bumper repaired at the south location and then my bumper flew off while driving on the highway. The south location would not take responsibility and said they would not be able to cover the repair,even though they guarantee their work. This Service King location at North Lamar made it right even though they really had no obligation to. The customer service is excellent here, and the repair looks great!
We have a fleet of vehicles where I work, so I have had the joy of working with several body shops in town. Service King was the fastest and most courteous of any I have worked with so far. They communicated clearly through every step of the process, the finished product looked great, and there were no unpleasant surprises. I will definitely be taking any future business to them.

Overall a good experience! They pushed the date it supposed to be finished back a few times so it took a week or two longer than they said. Also misplaced the tire I had in the trunk and obviously went through everything in my car and glovebox which was not necessary but nothing was missing inside. It is now weeks later and the car works perfectly. The wheel I had in the trunk had been misplaced but they were apologetic and very nice about getting a brand new replacement. Also had no trouble with my insurance so that communication must have gone well.

They did an amazing job with my vehicle. My car had been in a hit-and-run and my driver side door was banged up pretty bad. The guys at Service King took care of my vehicle and returned it looking much better than it appeared before. They gave me clear directions on what to do about with having a new door with new paint as well. I needed a rental car and they worked with me to make sure I would have won without a hitch. I fully recommend Service King without hesitation.
This was the third time I have dealt with this business, including two previous visits when it was still known as B&B. They understand how to facilitate the insurance processes for a truly unnerved drama queen, and are patient and helpful even in the face of innumerable early-morninf phone calls. If you have a choice in insurance-funded collision repair, I cant recommend this company enough. Im glad my insurance company has them at the top of the list.
Great quality, on-time delivery, friendly staff! Scraped up the bumper of my car and Service King made it look like new in just a few days. Called to to let me know repairs started and job was completed.
They fixed my car quickly. My only issue is they didn’t update the contact information on file and were not giving me the updates about my car.
The repairs were good, but expensive. My main gripe is that a couple of weeks after picking up our van, it wouldnt start after dropping the kids off at school. I had to redirect from work to problem solve and found the positive terminal on the battery all the way loose. The mechanic didnt even bother to tighten it after re-connecting the battery. I just hope that this didnt do any additional damage to the vehicle electronics, including the alternator. Poor attention to detail, resulting in missed time from work and potential additional damage to vehicle!
Driving my truck again reminded me how unhappy I was with the repair work they did on my truck. They replaced the drivers door, fender and lower rocker.Since the day I got the truck back there was now wind noise howling from the drivers door. I took it back up there and was told oh they do that Really? Didnt before. The side molding was crooked and fell off, another trip back. Popped the hood and guess what? Missing rubber trim along the fender and cowl, Other side has it. Guess it was not worth putting back on. Other list of issues - Sander marks on the mirror glass, wind/air coming through the window switch and back of mirrors.All in all I wish insurance would have let me take it elsewhere. They did a bad job then walked away.
This Service King is absolutely fantastic. They say a car is never the same after an accident, but after the work done here Im not so sure. My Jeep came back to me feeling new and I could not be happier. In addition to the workmanship the customer service was outstanding. They went above and beyond helping me feel welcome and keeping me informed daily of the progress they were making. I Wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else.
I walked In to Service King collision repair off N Lamar in Austin, TX at about 8:50 am on Thursday June 2, 2016. I had an appointment to get an estimate at 9:00 am. I checked in with the front desk clerk. At 9:00 am an older lady walk in for her car’s appointment. About five minutes later a Service King employee came out and helped the older lady. I sat in the lobby for another 10 to 20 minutes till I was helped by someone. The front desk clerk did page someone about three time while I sat.As the Service King employee and I walked to my car. He informed me that the insurance company that is paying for the damage to my car did their own estimates. He also said that this Service King could not take my car in because the shop was full.Then we walked back into the building. I asked if we could do the estimate anyway, he then said it would be pointless because work needed to be done for the full final estimate to be evaluated. Then he walked off to his office.Now the clerk begins to tell me that they need the estimate from the insurance company to even take the car in. After about another five minutes or so I ask if I can just get and appointment to turn my car in I will have the estimate by the time I drop it off.I stated, “I don’t understand why I have an appointment and you can’t service my car.” Then a Service King employee came out from the back office and asked me “Can you go see a doctor without and appointment?” I then said to the Service King employee “ I am a veteran, I have been through enough in my life. I am trying to be calm, I don’t need your sass right now!” Next I said I have to leave this place right now please call me when you have an appointment for me. I got in my car and came home.Now from my previous experience from Service King a deer ran into my GMC SUV. Service King in San Marcos got and estimate and took my car that same day. That’s what I expected to happen this time. I know now that the current weather conditions had caused damage to others cars so that shop was full. I feel like I was wrongly treated,rushed out the door. I call in the the call line to make a report and they told me I will be contacted by a Manager it has been seven hours still no contact.
Im having my vehicle fixed at the Lamar location. The staff is very knowledgeable. Ive been very happy with their service.
I was told that the repair time would be one, and no more than two days. A day after taking my vehicle in I received a text message, telling me that my car will not be ready for, at least, two more days. I needed a very minor repair and had this scheduled for weeks ahead. My phone calls are not being returned. I feel like I’m being ignored. Never bringing any of my vehicles here in the future.
My experience was terrible and I do not recommend this place. First, their estimate has changed from a job that required one week to three weeks, a similar problem that has been posted by several other customers. The change has disrupted my travel and other schedules. Second, I, the car owner, was not consulted for service components. The service advisor (R.M.) was interested in collecting insurance payments but not interested in explaining or talking to customers. Third, the car had bad smell (probably from new paint?) after the service; it was not properly cleaned. Avoid this place or R.M.
Mike and Eric are wonderful they are working to get all of the issues on my car fixed in a timely manner. Especially since theyve had to wait and wait for backorder parts from the Kia. Feels like almost a month so Im definitely grateful they are working to get in back in my car as quickly as possible.

Went to this place just to get estimates on the damage done on my car...this lady who sits at the front desk said noone was able to help me that they were having a christmas party instead of helping a CUSTOMER....who this lady is not part of a party that happened to A staff who should had gotten up and gotten someone to help with my claim insteads BLOWS ME OFF AND SAYS TO CALL 866 NUMBER HELL NO I AM HERE FOR PHYSICAL EXAM ON MY CAR AND YALL ARE LAZY AND SHOULD NOT BE HAVING A PARTY ON THE CLOCK!!!!! I GIVE 0 STARS TO THIS LOCATION AND ARE NOT COMING BACK!! ALREADY WENT TO ROUND ROCK AND THEY HELPED ME. 5 STATS TO ROUND ROCK LOCATION.... 0 STARS TO LAMAR LOCATION.. SAD
Took my car in to get the rear bumper fixed after I got rear ended by a GEICO client. Service King reps seem courteous at first and told me my car would be ready by the next day. Lies, it took them almost triple the time. Repairs are ok but the paint does not match. They told me they couldnt do anything about it at first and they gave me inadequate excuses. It wasnt until I said I would take it to another place that they gave me options. After all, I did take it to a near service place and they agree that it is not well done. Also, every family member and friend that takes a look can spot the difference without me having to tell them. Btw, them not having the car ready by the time they said and by telling you that they will contact you later when THEY are available to fix THEIR mistakes is a sign that they do not respect you or your time. What makes this more frustrating is that Service King is recommended by the highly known insurance that covers the repairs. Please do not trust them with your paint jobs.

Got off to a rocky start due to misunderstanding with the insurance co, but my wife was very happy with the result of the repairs.
I had an appointment, the service person went to lunch instead of showing up for my appointment, after 15 minutes I asked the desk to call them, they then told me they were just pulling in, 5 minutes later still no one, the place was a ghost town, not a single customer, but no one could actually help me get an estimate so I just left.

Terrible service and poorly done repairs! Estimate was off by thousands of dollars, timeline was off by a week, they didnt put my front license plate back on and they left a huge gap between my headlights and the new bumper they installed. I went back to get those things fixed and they said they would call me to replace the bumper and put the license plate back one but I never got a call or response to my voicemails. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!
Not very good experince.Even after multiple reminders I never received a call back even when promised,as the service executive was not available at the time of my visit.The repair done was not up to o the mark too.
