Because they were testing the watch in a machine that verified the watch to a depth of 5 ATM. Batteries + Bulbs and most jewelry stores do not have this equipment and would either have turned me away or sent the watch out to get the battery replaced, taking days. Fair pricing along with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ran into Harry the first time I went, who was super nice and friendly. Came back the second time and had Christian work on my watch who was very professional and respectful with my property. For only around $35 they got my 13 year old Festina working perfectly with new spring bars for the straps and an adjustment it needed. Considering my watch was around $400 new and is considered rare and somewhat higher end, I was glad to only to spend $35. Furthermore, they have some truly elegant and alluring watches for under $100 on display. I am considering purchasing one in the future.

Came in for some new bands for my watches, I was very impressed by their selection. The employee was very fantastic in helping me pick bands that really brought out the watches, I left thrilled and with three watches looking brand new. Thank you!

Had my watch band expertly repaired by Christiaan just a couple weeks ago. I was honestly impressed that he was able to repair it completely. Took another watch in today for battery replacement and a new lense. Repaired by Lemly. Excellent work and fair pricing on both accounts. I will return for future repairs and/or purchases.

I needed a watch I can wear in the water but not expensive. They have a great selection, was very hard to pick which one I wanted. Associate was very helpful and patient!

They were able to size a bracelet for an expensive Sinn watch that a reputable jewelry and watch store could not. That pagoda in the Fox Valley mall has some talented watchsmiths working there

Very unsatisfied with over all experiance. Stopped at Dekota to get 2 watches fixed, both for new batteries, and one watch had, its arrow that show 10 sec the small gage broken and sliding inside the watch. I asked the lady that helped me if it posible to fix and she said no problem 15 min. I came back about 20 min later to see that all the hands are falling off and at the bottom. When i asked her what happened she said she does not have the right tools to fix it and she didint know that. So she said she will ship it fix it and about month later will be ready. I called to find out that to fix this is now not $35.00 but over $100. The lady said that that was not her problem and that watch was already broken. It was not falling apart, all it need was a new battery, if the other piece was not changeable I would never had it done. Instead of paying for the mistake they made, they gave me the watch in 2 piecies and said sorry we tried to reach out but you never picked up. No voice mail was ever left. Poor way to do business.

Got my battery changed watch pressure tested and cleaned for 13 bucks, the man did a great job! Definetly coming back here for any other watch work!

Nowhere to be found it open, finally arrived around noon. Shop for 45 minutes and when I returned they were gone. Employee showed up about 10 minutes later with a man and she continued to talk to him for an additional five minutes let me add another guest waited. They did not seem to beInterested in being there. $45 for 3 batteries.
