If I could give them zero stars I could. They left the package outside in my parking spot instead of safe near my house. We had two different packages sent, and we caught them trying to leave it there the first time, and got them to move it. We werent so lucky the second time. And they are telling me its the same driver! They has the gumption to tell me the driver was being nice by actually leaving it at my house the first time. Terrible customer service. Wont even come out to fix their mistake. Idk how Im going to move these boxes.

Carrier showed up to our house with large, heavy pallets and no ability to offload it from the truck. Really? If only you were a comapny that specializes in shipping freight.To worsen matters, the delivery driver had the audacity to ask my wife if she had $10 and could ask one of the construction workers in the neighborhood if he could offload it using his forklift. While she was inside the house looking for money, the driver apparently flagged down the construction worker to do the companys job for him. I feel bad this gentleman is in the middle of an absolutely inept operation. This company is an absolute joke to put it lightly. If you have the choice of any other carrier, use them. I trust USPS more and thats not saying a whole lot.

Lost a $4k package, still haven’t found it. Avoid this company at all costs.Also note that I didn’t choose the shipping company. It was chosen by the company I bought the product from. I’m now holding that company responsible. This has significantly impacted their online reputation as I’ve been leaving bad reviews. Their rating has gone from a 4.0 to a 3.8 overnight. So if you’re considering using this company for your business, consider the impact it will have. No matter how good your customer service team is, it won’t matter if they’re powerless to fix the shipping problems of this company.

This is $2500 of material that was damaged. I was disappointed but understand damage happens. We decided to keep the material as I did not have time to reorder since the project was due. I also didnt want R+L to get stuck with this material where they would have a full replacement cost. We worked to cut off and discarded the damage and also spent time straightening the panels to make them usable. I filed a claim for the damaged portion as a percentage of the total, cost of shop labor $120, and the cost of the administrative time $80 dealing with the claim form, documentation, invoicing, etc. For some reason Wes Boggs, the freight claims analyst, replied that they are rejecting the claim as we need to resubmit without the administrative cost. I could have stuck them with $2500 of damaged goods but I made the mistake of being reasonable, helpful, and overly gracious only to get beat up over $80 and waiting a month for them to refuse to do what is right. How is the time of administration not a cost to our business? Are administrative staff free labor? If so please send the free staff immediately. I am pretty sure Wes gets paid for his time and it seems like he would be considered administrative staff. Perhaps he wants to work for free. I am now filing small claims paperwork with the court and modifying the claim to include all the additional fees and free administrative time that it takes to file, serve, and represent my position in court. I find this level customer service and logic perplexing and insulting.

Just another company that dont care about their drivers just care about getting their freight out, and even if you get done with your deliveries and pick ups in a timely manner its never enough they will have you go do more stuff maybe because they dont pay overtime at all, wich i thought was weird so they want you on the clock all day also they make you buy your own equipment to work with like hand jacks dispatch will call you out on everything you do but never say thx or good job not the kind of place for me

Andrew went above and beyond with my delivery. Because he could not lift the large box with his small forklift he carried it piece by piece for me to a very convenient location for set up. All communication with the ladies in the office was pleasant and efficient.Thank you Andrew and R+L,Fran

Great place to work, people here are all good folks that seem to stick around for very long periods of time. Like any job you will here some complaints, but i think that goes for all jobs. I personally like my job and even if they wont admit it I think most of the other people here do as well.

My friend bring me here to seek a job only to find out that the customer service was grumpy and they want you to wait long hours to speak to the boss! So we just decide to step out of their office because the attitude was rotten! So they have Just now loss two CDL drivers..

I watched one of your truck drivers in Fort Collins today at 1:30 pm on trilby road lay on his air horn at a senior citizen who didnt go fast enough at a green light! It scared the hell out of them and every one (me) included! Your driver is a joke and makes professional truck like myself look bad! I have over 30 years experience over the road and local. Please tell him one day he will get old and should have some dam patience!

Everyone was nice that I spoke with in the office. The trailer I was picking up was stick on a plate of ice and the yard jock helped me break up ice pot down ice melt and get it or sip I could be on my way. He went above and beyond to help me. Not many people will do that and I appreciated it more than I can say.

So I ordered my husband a 400 dollar desk for his birthday. The shipping was 60 bucks but i figured it would be pretty heavy so understandable. They tried to call me to set up an appointment and I missed a call because Iva been incredibly busy at work when R&L finally got ahold of me the woman on the phone was very rude about it. Not very good customer service but I figured at least it’s all set up now. Yesterday the truck pulled up with it and was a very mean when my husband and brother attempting to help him. The delivery driver was the rudest I have ever saw a delivery person to customers. If I’m being honest my husband and I Work delivery for a living and I would never treat someone like that.It was heavy and he unloaded it next to the curb not willing to do anything but leave it right there halfway in the street. Then he asked my husband to check it real fast.The desk was still strapped to the pallet so couldn’t really check it well. So my husband told him he’s good and my brother and husband carried it into the garage. My husband comes to find that on the bottom side the desk was smashed in on the end. Was almost placed to hide the fact that it was damaged. All over terrible experience. All I wanted to to was get my husband something nice for his birthday and has turned into a run around with this delivery company and now I have contacted the seller. Happy holidays 😩

Driver showed up hours earlier than scheduled with truck not really the suited for the job in regards to actually being able to unload the pallets. He almost dumped the first pallet off the end of the truck lift. Second pallet was too big to unload with the equipment the driver came with and had to be broken down to be unloaded. A box was dropped by the driver in the process.When I asked the driver to note on the paperwork that we had to break down the pallet to unload it, he refused. I asked multiple times, and had to indicate that I would not be signing for the delivery unless he noted the fact that we had to break down the pallet to get it off the truck. He said he wouldnt, and threatened to load everything back up at that point, so I invited him to do so if he wanted (he didnt). The guy was extremely rude about it.Left a big mess at the bottom of my driveway when he left.I am going to have to contact the shipper to inform them that the driver would not make any delivery notes as part of the delivery process.

If you are ordering from somewhere that ships from this carrier DONT.This has been the absolute worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. I ordered a very expensive piano that is being delivered by them and have had 3 separate delivery appointments. Each morning of the appointment they tell me that they don’t have the package. I did speak to 1 employee that said there is a scan code mix up because no one was reading the notes on the delivery.How does someone manage to either a) be that incompetent or b) lose a piano?!R and L really should reimburse me for the piano at this point. It should’ve been delivered a month ago.

Worst delivery company that I have ever had the privilege of using. horrible customer service. had an emergency replacement part sent through them. it was late anyway, then they kept it on their dock for over a day. I had an employee at their location and they would not let us pick up the part. one of the worst freight companies that i have ever deal with! No stars for these folks.

Twice this has been the carrier to deliver items to my mountain home. Both times I have called (total of 5 times) to inform them that 24 to 26 foot truck is the longest that will be able to make the delivery. Both times they put the item on a 45 foot tractor trailer and then expect me to drive into town to pick up the item - while being paid by the retailer to deliver it to my residence (yes, a special line item on the invoice for an extra charge for residential delivery). I picked up the first one but I couldnt do that for the second one because of the weight. I called R&L and the phone person said that she would talk with the retailer to ask THEM to hire someone else to deliver it. After thinking about that it seems that it is R&Ls responsibility to arrange delivery - R&L accepted the contract to deliver it so they need to do that - not push it back to the retailer. I asked the phone person that question and was basically attacked by her. It was one of the least professional interactions I have ever had with a company. I did contact the retailer and made an agreement on a rebate so I could hire someone to deliver the item, I recontacted R&L and made arrangements for them to bring the item into town. This morning I called the retailer to discover that R&L had demanded a storage fee (for something THEY couldnt deliver even though they accepted the contract from the retailer - and an item that they promised to deliver into town on Monday (I am writing this on Friday)) - so the order was canceled. NO ONE from R&L contacted me to let me know the order was canceled so if I hadnt called the retailer I would be sitting around all day on Monday waiting for their call AFTER renting a truck and paying people to help unload the item. The driver for the item a few weeks ago admitted that this happens all the time in this area but R&L refuses to make sure they have the ability to make their deliveries. As I said before, the item was placed on a 45 foot truck even though the delivery paper work said 24-26 max length. Also, the phone person admitted to me that they dont even HAVE smaller trucks. Obviously R&L does not care about the customers (either the one expecting the item (in this case me) or the companies they are delivering for). I talked with the retailer and they are escalating this to see if they can use another carrier from now on. I also plan, that if I ever need a carrier to deliver an item, that whatever company I work with uses some other carrier.

We are having an absolutely awful time dealBig with this company who was contracted to deliver items for us. Amy who is answered the phone when they answer the phone is very rude. We were given a 6 hour delivery window and have now taken two days off work to receive delivery with yet another delay. The items are currently in Denver. Stead clear of this company. I’m not sure how they are still in business with this type of service.

Chanel was SO wonderful to work with. She was extreamly helpful in helping me with my missing order that was the suppliers fault and not theirs. She went out to the dock and looked for the missing pieces herself just to be sure. I couldnt have appreciated it more!

Had issues with delivery that lead to me having to got pick it up. Played phone tag to try and get it released but apparently you have to pay to have it released at their dock. They told me they would wave that fee this time as there person shipping does good business with them but the fact that they didnt come when they said or call was a bit irritating. The staff at the front desk when I did arrive was kind and helpful as was the person working the loading dock.

2021 update: once again had large delivery with R&L, again had super good experience. Scheduling around my work hours and the driver called as he was on his way. He was very nice and got to talking with me about by item (a very heavy subwoofer), he also pointed out the box was ripped and recommended I consider refusing it but as the item was refurbished it made sense the box was in bad shape. Overall very happy with R&L carriers from both experiences.2020 orig review:Recently had a large electronic item shipped from Ohio to Denver area thru R+L. They sent me a text message to setup delivery right away, I called and the nice receptionist helped me right away. Come delivery day the driver never called to confirm the time but I called the office mid day and they were able to tell me an approximate time of delivery. The delivery guy was good even though I was his last delivery at 6pm, he helped me move the box to my front door. Overall good experience, just call the main office number if youre antsy about your shipment status.

Extremely unprofessional on the phone. When returning a phone call to schedule a delivery, I asked the woman I spoke to whose name was Amy, Do you happen to know whose name is listed on the bill of lading? I work at a university, and I need to know who to contact when their delivery arrives as Im an administrator and cannot run a forklift myself. Her response was Oh, so now youre just expecting the world to make sense? I would say that asking for the contact on a bill of lading from a delivery company is pretty standard procedure. When I was taken aback, she said sorry, just being a brat. Most unprofessional experience Ive ever had over the phone with any company. Hope you take feedback seriously.

Place is under construction so be careful and no space for parking. Very quick and no waiting for this trucker. Yard dog even got me an empty trailer sho I didnt have to drive my tractor in the muck. Truck stop right down the road too.

Was suppose to get weights and a bar delivered from R and L but my bar was not with the shipment. I tried calling the delivery driver but he gave me the run around saying he was not a driver but worked at a railroad???? What the heck. I got the run around over and over from the office with no resolution. Finally contacted the original company I bought it from and they are going to ship me a bar. Horrible company, would not recommend to anyone.

I received a call yesterday in regards to my shipment being delivered today between 1 and 5p. It is now 6 and still no sign of them. I called the # that called me yesterday and spoke to the gentleman who answered the phone This is Brian. Brian did his best to look up the order, but it seems the order they called me about yesterday doesnt exist in their system. I was told to call back tomorrow when the right staff person was available (who incidentally leaves at 5pm.) Not very impressed. Ill post another update after speaking with the right person at the company, a day after the delivery was supposed to be made.UPDATE: 8/28After calling in two more times, I was able to reach someone who found the order in their system. Apparently, the initial call was in error as the pallet I am shipping hadnt arrived here in Colorado, but had merely made its way to LAX. Kind of peeved that I stayed home from work for a half a day. The pallet is supposed to arrive today between 1 and 5. Im here again waiting at home. Ill post once more if/when and in what condition my items arrive.

Sent to Signature Hardware hopefully they will drop this company! Signature Hardware has some of the best most unique products and great customer service. HOWEVER, I will never buy another product from them if they Continue to use R+ L Carriers out of Colorado. I have had to deal with them three times during the build of my house each time was a waiting period they give you a five hour block to wait. When you contact their dispatch they are rude. Except for once I did speak to an Ed who can really take a butt chewing. I have waisted easily a total of 20 hours waiting on their drivers. Twice total no shows after waiting all day with really bad excuses. This may not seem like a big deal to some or them, however when youve coordinated moving a 300# object on a job site through dirt, mud and snow so it is not broken, damaged or dirty its a big deal. Then they dont show up and its 7:00 PM and all your help is gone you have to secure it to make sure no one steals it. Signature Hardware Please fire this company!!!!

Terrible service! Had to schedule a delivery date, did then next day took work off and missed their own window. I had to call and found out they didnt even schedule it! So I missed a day of work and then had to schedule for the next day, they gave me a window from 1-5 they actually showed up at 12 and never gave me a courtesy call like they said they would and I had to rush home to receive the very early delivery and driver didnt even bother helping moving the box into the driveway literally 4ft. Absolutely pathetic of a company. If your package is being handled by this company get ready for a massive headache!! I WOULD NEVER CHOOSE A PLACE LIKE THIS, but my product had to go through them unfortunately. FEDEX AND UPS blows this place out of the water with customer service and professionalism.

I dont know about their service, but my experience with one of their drivers was terrible. In Sep 2015, I was driving on I-80 in Ohio. I was in the left lane of three lanes as I came up behind two trucks sitting in the middle lane, the second of which was an R+L Carrier semi-truck/trailer. As I was passing R+L, it pulled left into my lane, the fast lane, and squeezed me onto the grassy median. I had my left wheels on the grass and dirt and my right wheels on the shoulder. Lots of stone chips on my new car with only 1000 miles on it. Of course, I laid on my horn and put my brakes, well aware that jumping on the brakes while half off the road could cause me to lose control. R+L kept on going as if nothing happened. I caught up to the truck and honked my horn a few times, but he honked his horn and gave me the middle finger. As I tried to hold my phone to take a photo of his license plate, he swung for the next exit and I missed catching his details.Perhaps he didnt realize what had happened. It would be speculation to say he wasnt in a fit state to be driving, but any alert driver would have realized his mistake. Thanks for the middle finger R+L.

I received a text message asking me to call to set up a delivery time and they offered me two days. I explained to the young man that I was scheduled to be out of town on business both of those days and asked if there was any way for them to deliver first thing Thursday. He stated that he would request that they put it on the truck last and see if they could deliver first which I greatly appreciated. I called the morning of the delivery to check to see if they were able to deliver first thing and was met with a very disrespectful young lady on the other end of the phone who told me that I should have informed the man I spoke to that I was going to be unavailable. When I told her that I had in fact told him that she responded with a sassy Well did you agree to the delivery time of 10-3 pm? I stated that I had told him that I needed a morning delivery or that I would have to move it to the following week. I was also told that they could not hold it for that long leaving me with no options. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was unable to speak with one as they were all busy or on the phone. Horrible customer service and dont recommend!

We were waiting for an alliance delivery to our new house almost a week ago. Despite me giving them my correct name and phone number, they called the wrong person when they arrived for the delivery and canceled it. I spoke to them again and had to reschedule for the second time. I gave them my number again and spoke to them about the logistics of the delivery. They finally brought the appliances and then decided to tell us they didnt deliver into houses. We had to pay the driver extra to get our appliances inside. They never told us this was their policy despite speaking at least 3 times.

Just ordered a fridge and had it delivered to our house. The driver refused to bring it into the house because of liability reasons. I understand the liability issue but R&L didnt bother letting us know this is their policy. Ive got a fridge on my front porch now with no way to get it in. When I called their customer service they seemed surprised to learn we might want a fridge in our house. Watch out for these guys.

Had a great experience with R+L carriers and would use them again. They shipped heirloom furniture from FL to CO for us. Everything was well-packed, arrived undamaged, on-time, and was picked up/delivered by friendly people on both sides of the country.

I never write reviews, and dont normally complain. But, we received a delivery from this company 11/20/2020 which didnt go well. The driver wasnt trained on how to find a business, how to back his rig up, or how to unload a pallet without the help of the customer, (me). Training makes a difference.

They LOST and entire palet we are still constantly calling them looking for it and all’s we get is “ i’ll look Into it and get back with you”. NEVER get back to us. Very poor shipping company, look elsewhere to save yourself some trouble. They automatically charged me extra for weight overages but then ignored me when I provided documentation demonstrating their weight was incorrect. Also, they scheduled a delivery window and had me waiting home all day. When I called to check on the delivery they said their driver forgot to load the shipment and they would try again tomorrow. R+L Carries falsely charges for overages and provides very poor customer service.

Horrible!!! I would never never use them again! They delivered a dining room table that was supposed to be white glove service, then claimed it wasnt ordered that way and refused to come back and bring it in the house. When we finally got someone else to bring it in the house, we opened the box and discovered the table was damaged beyond repair! The original box was badly damaged and they put cardboard over the damage to conceal it! They said that by signing off on it initially (before I saw the concealed damage), I have no recourse. I called them and they were rude too. Dont trust anything to them to be shipped!

Horrible customer service and dont deliver within their own shipping windows. We were lead to believe from vendor that shipping would be 1-2 days, so when told a delivery date that was 3 business days we were understandably frustrated and confused. I called to follow up on the shipping date and the woman who took my call was extremely rude and did not seem to value customer experience or service. She did not help clarify the miscommunication or work to help come to a solution. When I asked her to clarify shipping window as we had received a text that said 9-3 and she had said 10-2, this same woman snapped that they were just trying to narrow the window for us (when all I was trying to do was clarify which window was correct). The company then elected to show up outside of the delivery window that THEY specified. Not impressed.

A rep from this company called me to tell me they would drop my order off tomorrow, I asked if I could pick it up today, she was extremely rude and told me she had to verify with the vendor that I ordered from that it was ok for me to pick up my order. After a brief argument I called my vendor that I ordered from 5 mins later and he informed me that he gave them permission for me to pick my order up. I called in to verify that my order was ready, I spoke with Autumn, who to my surprise was also extremely rude. she stated that my order was sitting in the back of a truck and would not be ready for about 5 hours. These people are putting a hold on my revenue to be spiteful. I highly recommend not using them in any situation.

Absolutely awful, we hired them for an express LTL delivery to the East coast, after arriving their driver refused to wait at the receiving warehouse for more than 30 minutes. He came and went 5 days in a row before finally delivering. It severely hurt our business. We ship upwards of $100K in freight per year and they are the worst we have ever dealt with. I wouldnt recommend them to our worst enemy. I would give them negative stars if it was possible.

Ordered oversized frames from a custom frame maker in Texas. Pick up was several hours late, delivery was late. Box arrived ravaged with holes punched through it. I made the driver stay until the box was opened and inspected. The canvas was intact, however, all four of the frames wooden cross members were broken across the top. I filed a claim to replace broken frames and have been denied. This is probably the most dishonest and disrespectful group of people I had the misfortune of doing business with. Never again.

Experience Thumbs Up. I have had my fair amount of Shipments With RL Carriers Commercial Ovens, Hood, Coolers Pool Stairs Even a 5500lb Dough Mixer and More. Over the Past 5 years I Have had one damaged Item With them.. The claim Process was a Complete Joke however it all worked out in the end. I have the same freight Driver For Every pick up... Very Pleasant and Real Times are hard Driving a 53 Trailer Plus the Rig. All those who are Complaining on the Drivers Cut them a Brake and Move your sorry car they cant see you Work with them. RL Carriers Treat your Drivers Better our driver is worth keeping and he can be taken by your competition. As for the Guy Where RL Brought you a Fridge and Wouldnt Bring it in Go F yourself. . . I would also give this company a negative rating if I could. This is the third time they have completely failed. I spent 2 hours at their Denver terminal yesterday trying to help them find my pallet. Nobody seems to know where it is. Nobody wants to take responsibility. They are trying to pass responsibility off to a partner carrier that the freight was supposed to be transferred to. Now Im waiting for a call back, once again. Hours and hours have been wasted with these jokers, and this is the 3rd time in 2 months. I will NEVER use R&L carriers again!

I have had to use these guys multiple times for deliveries to my house. Every single time the delivery personnel are either rude, refuse to deliver (driveway too muddy, driveway too snowy, truck looks like it is overheating), or deliver damaged goods. This time, after refusing to drive up the driveway, they told me my appointment was rescheduled for wednesday and never bothered to schedule the delivery in their system. I am going to start inquiring on the delivery carrier for things that I purchase and finding alternatives to using this company.

Called Joe Engle and needed to call him 6 times to try to get a delivery quote. It has been 2 weeks and I am sick of waiting for a quote. If you cant or dont want to do it just say so!!!!!
