Please Read. I had an awful experience at this location which is unfortunate as everyone else was very helpful and understanding except for one individual.I received a call earlier today from FedEx that my shipment was ready to be picked up at this location. I have never been here before so when I entered I was a bit lost as there was a gate and security post, however on the other side of the median. I saw a parking lot to my left and parked there. Due to COVID, I was instructed earlier on the phone to call and have my information ready as they would load the vehicle for me. As I called, the Security guard approached my vehicle and demanded what I thought I was doing. I explained that I was here to pick up a package and to call which I thought was doing correctly. He scolded me stating that this is employee parking only and that I was supposed to check in. I repeatedly apologized and he instructed me to go to the first gate and check in. I said of course and a little bit flustered, I attempted to follow his directions.At this point I was on the line with a very nice lady who was trying to help me locate my package and was on speaker phone, when I pulled through the gate, I wrapped around a little bit to pull next to the security stand. He then scolded me once again asking if I dont know how to follow directions. Okay... my bad again. This is where is started to get ugly.Still on speaking and waiting for me to provide her with my information, I was checking in with the Guard who thought it was okay to say, you would never work for me.. As I was telling him my name, I apologized to the lady and told her it will be a second. Overhearing my apology, He asked, Is that how you apologize to your wife? Confused, I replied stating that I am unfortunately not married. He followed up with I can see why.... He continued with my information and began instructing me where I should drive to pick up my package. After finishing, he asked, Now, do you want me to repeat and explain it to you like a 7 year old.My phone is still on speaker, and the call was being recorded.I said no and carried on very bothered by the experience. The lady met me outside to check my drivers license and apologized for the guard. The man who helped load my shipment was also very nice, but the one guard really ruined it. I was excited to come and pick up my shipment after a long day of work, but unfortunately came to get roasted by a security guard. I will be contacting corporate as I DO NOT believe they are wanting or encouraging employees to harass each other and customers. Shameful display and completely unprofessional. I want to see some action taken against this security guard. Given that the call was recorded, I would find it difficult for him to defend himself.
Gaurd was not in the guard shack. So, I drove in with the shipping lable and BL. They took the job box and its on its way.
Spoke with Dave on the phone and he was very helpful, on the follow up call Janet answered the phone, she was angry and very rude, raised her voice at me and acted like doing her job was a favor to me.
Its a little confusing going there to pickup a package. They arent really setup for customers to pickup packages but they were kind and even helped me load my heavy package into my car. It was difficult to arrange for delivery due to my schedule so picking it up was the best option.
