Its great and very clean as far as gyms go...guy at front was very friendly! Thats a plus as it is hard to find good customer these days unfortunately..
The new place really is a horrible layout. They have way to much equipment for the space. I had a billing issue with their billing company and they told me to call the manager of the gym. I did of course he never called me back. I wont write his name in this post because I already did that once and noticed that it was deleted. Also, I wrote an email through their website to the owners and they never responded. Of course, it must be company culture to not respond to its members. The gym is always a mess, the weights are never racked, abandoned water all over the place, dirty towels that they expect you to use to clean the equipment with. If you can afford to pay more do it because this place is a mess. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away unless you can only afford the $12 a month plus their equipment maintenance fee is a joke. There has been machines in their that have been broken for months at a time. I even heard a member say that he personally put batteries in a clock because they staff is to lazy or to cheap to do it.
Nice gym alot of machine and weights... although its does not have a pool its still better than 24 . The only thing missing here is a steam room but overall great place to work out
Stay Away, I had my 1 year membership and stopped going after my membership expired, thinking that the payments would stop. After a few months of seeing charges, I called the 800 # I was given at the Gym only to find out they automatically move you to a month to month. I tried to cancel over the phone and they dont take cancellations over the phone and need to submitt a written cancellation and that they require a 30 day notice!!!!
They DID NOT give any new members a rundown of how to properly use the machines! So I just played it safe and used some eight pound free weights and the treadmills
Me and my boyfriend joined this gym last spring. When we were signing up the manager, Gerard, told us that the only way we would be able to cancel our membership, would be to send in our lease if we moved more than 45 miles away. Since we travel for a living (moving every 3-4 months) we knew we would be moving soon. We agreed to joining this gym. After we moved we sent in our lease to the appropriate place to get our membership canceled. I am now being heckled on a daily basis for a 100$ cancelation fee that this arrogent man never told us about!!! I would have no problem paying this fee but I feel like i was mislead to signing the contract. When I have called this gym to talk to him, I get told he will call me back, and he never does. When I finally got a hold of him he was an arogent jerk and his response was go ahead and complain. Not only were we lied to but then he is going to be completely unhelpful JERK?? Also, they never clean thst filthy place and the ceiling is always leaking. Total waist of money!
Went in to check out this gym.Only guy there at the front desk didnt know much, and just sent me on my way to look around. Free first time use was nice, but with no information, or showing me around it was a bit off putting. If I had not asked questions about fees. contracts ETC I would not have gotten the information.Facility shows its age. Nothing looks clean. First machine I got on was a step machine that literally shook and sounded like a roller coaster, I got right off it for fear of it launching me off. all the stair machines were very old.Next I looked at the treadmills which are all aged, I picked one that had the least worn looking belt. I wasnt 10 steps in before I noticed a lump under a spot in your footing that your foot would get moved over, and it squeaked loudly from the belt/motor.I went onto my workout squats, deadlifts, pulldowns, and t bar rows. All equipment I saw was very old and worn. I literally dont think I saw one new piece of equipment. The facility again shows its age as everything is marked/scratched/dented up, and old. With the dismissive staff, old machines, and HIGH price (basic plan is $15/month with a $50 start up, and $25 additional as a annual fee 60 days after sign up EVEN THOUGH A GIANT POSTER ON THE BUILDING OUTSIDE SAYS NO SIGN UP FEES DUE TO NEW CONSTRUCTION)I gave it 2 stars due to it being nice that there was so much equipment. about 3xs as much as other gyms, but cant really excuse having broken equipment that is being left for people to still use.I understand machines are expensive, but there was nothing new that I saw. It doesnt appear in the slightest that they are trying to update ANYTHING.I understand trying to make money, but having higher costs monthly, and higher fees then other gyms with brand spanking new equipment, when this place isnt even TRYING to update anything? its a complete joke. The only way Id go with this gym is if it was much cheaper. $10 a month with only the $50 to start or something, and even then, the ONLY reason I would want to workout there is the fact that with so much equipment (if its not broken....) you probably wouldnt have to wait for much.As a final note of the snapshot that I saw today, water bottles where skewed around(old from the day, or DAYS before that people left by machines), urinal I used had 4-6 pieces of gum, obviously been there a while, weights EVERYWHERE, I know people dont put there weights back, but you would think they would have a employee at least weekly go through and organize the weight plates! They obviously make almost no attempt to keep the facility tidy/clean.Also as I saw in other reviews there is zero air circulation. The facility is gigantic, so I bet its a cost to get good air flow, but it was abnormally stuffy. I was sweating much much more then normal, and my workout was mild. Im not a princess to sweating, but if Im hardly having a intense workout, I shouldnt be running with sweat.I will not go back. Id much rather use a tiny facility with 1/4 of the machines for a lower cost, that will have new machines, air flow, nicer staff, and cleaner operations.
The place is a pig sty. There is almost no gym etiquette, the dumbbell racks are almost never organized (unless I do it during my workout, which is 4-6 days a week), the weight trees are almost never organized (again, unless I do it during my workout), the lazy manager either parks in the closest parking spot or the MOTORCYCLE PARKING ONLY, and doesnt bother enforcing any of the gym rules that are posted. He would rather socialize and play good cop instead of making this gym more safe and efficient, which translates over to the other employees. He is a horrible manager and leader. This is the only gym I have been to since 1998 that allows anything over a 55lb dumbbell on the top tier of the rack. It is also the only gym that I have been to that I dread working out in because of my attention to detail, and their lack of it.The only good things about this gym are the affordability, which due to the state of the gym I still think Im overpaying, and the daycare, which the manager tends to ignore most of the time.My name is Eric Huss and Ive been a member there for quite a while. If you can afford anything else I recommend it because if youre a beginner, all you will do is pick up very bad habits and anger people like me.
The place was okay... What really bothers me is that they wont let me cancel my membership every though Im moving out of state... Does anyone whos gone through this have an idea in how I can cancel this membership permanently ?
They offered me a Cheap membership but you get what you pay for, this is the worst gym I have been to. I am glad I didnt sign up. Make sure you try it, dont just take a tour and then sign up.
Long story short they are RUDE they LIE and give you the runarounds. Dont sign up with them.
It is dirty, unorganized, smells, and is just plain filthy.
They have an indoor track
So bad.
