It is a fancy place. Went in for a free group workout and was stunned by the quality of everything. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They dont have a ton of equipment but for the number of gym-goers they have, I dont think you would ever wait long for anything. It is a bit expensive for me, so Ill keep going to the local rec center for half the price.

Very clean facility and friendly staff. During covid they require you to book an appointment before coming in. Sanitizers are available throughout. The shower has shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Sauna and steam room not open at this time. Pool is small and water is not warm enough sometimes.

I had been looking for someplace to use temporarily since the Denver rec centers are closed indefinitely and stumbled upon this gem very near Central Park (formerly Stapleton). By far the cleanest gym Ive ever been to, super friendly staff and amazing classes. All of the equipment is top-notch. So lucky I found this place!

Gym with excellent variety of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. Covid precautions have been reduced with improving data, gym is now open access without reservations. Pool and hot tub still require reservations. Locker room and showers are clean with plenty of open lockers. Hot tub is nice. Pool is adequate for casual swimming laps but not long enough for enthusiasts to swim lengths.

Great work out spot and great cutting edge med techniques from laser treatment to cool sculpting to botox.... liposuction. ... ect.

Very Clean, easy to access, with a friendly staff, and GREAT workout space. Ive been coming here on and off for several years and love how I easy going and friendly the facilities and staff are. I also love how I can freeze my account during the summer months while I play outside, join group classes on the fly, and also how I have the option to steam in the sauna room for a lengthy period after a hard workout. Highly recommend for people wanting to get back into working out in a low stress/competitive gym. I also highly recommend the personal training staff and the commitment to the Anschutz goals of Health & Wellness :)

Ive been going to this gym since it opened! They have state of the art equipment, and the customer service experience is amazing. Due to this is a medical gym, they specialized in bodybuilding, weight loss and they have a lot of recovery programs for rehabilitation. My trainer is Lynn and she is one of the best trainers by far and I also recommend Mike, if you need a good trainer. This gym is more upscale than others. The training rates are far cheaper than their competitors such as 24 Hour Fitness. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a peaceful, clean and state of the art gym.

The gym changed its policies upon re-opening after the initial pandemic closure. The large changes and re-opening were announced only one week prior to a new billing cycle. I cancelled after 7/1 and the gym is forcing me to pay until 9/1 because of cancellation policies. The management should have allowed patrons more time to consider drastic policy changes before enforcing a billing policy that charges multiple months of membership fees. Further, the policy changes violate the member agreement that the gym is using to charge me for two free months of membership.If this had been handled differently I would have simply cancelled my membership and re-joined with whatever fees when the policies allow for spontaneous gym visits again. Now I am cancelling my membership after multiple years and never re-joining- over policy enforcement in an unprecedented time.This decision by the gym reflects on how the gym is run- I feel sorry for the trainers.Hopefully, this review steers a few well-meaning healthcare providers, faculty, and students in the right direction- youve been warned.

Do not go to this place under any circumstances covid 19 is everywhere in the building and they will never tell you. You have been warned

I had a very bad experience.Front desk is very RUDE.I felt not welcome at all with the new manager.Now I go to Life time What a Difference. Very friendly place.

Very nice. Employees helpful. Equipment is great. They have a lot of different services at this location. The wellness center has a variety of classes. They take the time to talk with you and set a goal that is right for you. Parking is available and is secured so I never had to worry. Locker rooms were clean well kept. The pool is great always clean. Hot tub great place to relax.

Greedy cancellation policies- the focus is scraping every last bit from university employees.Great place for tourists visiting and staying at the hotels that shuttle guests to the gym (which sucks for actual members), but a bad place for hospital employees, faculty, and students.

Ive been a member at this gym for a little over a year and I love it. the staff is stellar and very friendly. My only gripe is how small and limited the gym is. There is only one flat bench, one incline, and 2 squat racks. not counting the smith machine. I would like to see a little more equipment in the gym. Other than that, its a great facility. Shout out to the hot tub. Gives you the feels.

They charge for an extra month when you leave. A trainer interrupted my workout to sell me classes. You have to go in and fill out a form to cancel your membership. Tons of equipment hoarders. Avoid. ETA: also, they told me there is no such thing as the $40 membership that they are still advertising on their website. Unethical, too expensive, high pressure sales. No.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the gym and staff at Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. We recently had the pleasure of joining their outdoor bootcamp with Mike and Emily and they are both fantastic. They take the time to explain how to properly perform moves and always find a way to keep the classes different and interesting. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.

This center has it all! There are tons of weights, cardio machines, and a variety of equipment on the fitness floor. A running track loops around the second floor, and various studios are used for group fitness classes. There are locker rooms, a pool, steam room, dry sauna, showers with provided amenities, and even massage services and a health clinic. Look no further for a fantastic full-service experience for all your health and wellness needs.

I just do not think Anshutz Emer center should be open to the public. The level of resolution is 0 with the patient as an experiment to students. The med or nursing students have no experience playing around with the publics lives. They should not be near the public unless they have licences. It should not be open to public. Health takes a little more than a student experimenting on human life.

Great class selection. Lots of cardio equipment (treadmills, bikes, ellipticals). Free weights and weight machines. Pool.

The staff and trainers are top notch. The Be Fit Be Well program helped me recover from major surgery and four months of chemo treats. The workouts helped me tremendously and Im back on track to gain strength and muscle tone. I love the size of the facility and the cleanliness.

Ive been attending the Wellness Center for over 6 months now and at first enjoyed it greatly! But as the time went on, Im now generally worried about its patrons. Ive been weight training & competing for close to half my life. Im also a medical professional, like many of the patrons that come to this gym. To put this nicely, this gym has horrible hygiene practices AT LEAST in the weight areas. Since going there I have never seen anyone clean off either the mats, free weights or the cardio equipment. Equipment is gross to touch and smells of sweat. If you scratch the cardio equipment, you will pull off the caked on epithelial cells. Ive have voiced my concerns to the staff multiple times and no one seems to hear me. Ive expressed that it is important to clean the equipment throughout the day to prevent transfer between patrons. This is VERY common practices at other gyms but for some reason this gym that services medical professionals working with, either dangerous pathogens or patients with disease like the flu (worst season in a decade), doesnt seem to understand the importance of it. When I ask them why they dont clean the equipment throughout the day, they said they do it at night which only helps the first person of the day and that they dont want to disturb their patrons. Servicing everywhere from medical professionals to immunocompromised patients out of recovery, this seems counter intuitive and dangerous. Any gym model, just googled several, will tell you to clean equipment through the day to prevent the spread of disease. I cant afford to be sick, if I am I will be out of work for weeks till Im completely noncontagious to keep my patients safe. This place is public hazard and needs to correct their cleaning protocol unless they want to put others at risk. Im disappointed and will be seeking gym membership somewhere else.

The staff is cool and they really work with you to help you operate various machines in the gym. the gym is beautiful scientific and state of the art with great equipment, mock King Soopers to help you shop better, and pre exercise testing and exam to show where you are and where you should be after awhile and most of all its and ...lol fat folk friendly unlike some of the mainstream gyms.the gym has towels and the latest type of exercise classes that are fun and challenging. i love it and its never too crowded. and another cool feature is the extreme weight loss show is filmed there for Colorado.

The Health and Wellness Center is a wonderful facility. Im lucky because they cut the price for graduate students down to $35 per month. If it werent for that, I wouldnt be able to afford going here.The people are great, the personal training is about average price, it is always very clean, and they have lots of classes. The one thing I would love to see is a professional instructor for muay thai, jujustu, or some other self defense class.Aside from those things, check it out! They have all sorts of amenities including performance testing, dietitians, sauna & steam room, small pool, massage therapy, etc.

Easy and convenient care that is accessible to students

I was at Anschutz for a week long fitness bootcamp. Absolutely wonderful! The staff, the equipement, the locker room facilites and the food at the cafe is first class. Id recommend Anschultz for anyone wanting to lose weight, become fit, or stay fit to go to the center.
