Overall, working with Career Life Academy was helpful in securing opportunities. I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Dr. JuliAnna Stone to discuss the overall process prior to signing on. I appreciated working with Jan Payne directly with me, providing good advice and encouragement. I also appreciated her sticking with me for close to a year under the circumstances, as others would have left me high and dry after three months. Also, there are many organizations offering similar programs. I found the cost of Career Life Academy to be about average for what I was seeing out in the marketplace, and therefore reasonable.

Ill admit - I was skeptical that a career counseling company could provide enough value to warrant the time and financial commitment necessary to elicit a different outcome than ones used to when seeking employment. However, the skill, dedication, professionalism, intuitiveness, and love shared by the mentors I worked with at Career Life Academy truly changed my life, and I do not share that sentiment lightly. From the first meeting all the way through me landing a new opportunity, I continued to be impressed and quite frankly floored by not only how much I got out of the experience but how much I learned about myself. And, given that Im a seasoned professional and have worked through a couple of large, career changes previous to my most experience, I can especially attest to how powerful and meaningful the work CLA provides and guides one through. During the first meeting, which ran over by 10 minutes only because I stopped it there, very little of the material was covered so I walked away very confused about what CLA does. Then, I had to follow up twice to get clarification on what their business model is. I have sent follow ups twice to get references and I have never gotten a response and it’s been over two weeks.
